Life is transient for some, a curse for some, and a blessing for some. But for elves, life is as insignificant as the blink of an eye. It was as good as non-existent for them, why should it be when you live forever, when you break away from this world and go to a better realm into the light of eternity, where everything is so beautiful that you feel like you are among the stars in the sky.
That's just how it was and that's how it would always be, not only for the elves, the old and new creatures of the world, who would last for centuries and millennia before they disappeared and became legends and myths like elves.
That was life in Middle-earth and that would not change, not for the simple farmers of men, the dwarves in the mountains or the Mirkwood King Thranduil and his wife, his beloved light of life.
Both had seen the seasons come and go and while her husband took no conditional joy in any of the repeating events, he was all the more pleased when he saw the shine in her eyes when autumn came to the surrounding lands.
When the colors changed to a reddish orange and the sun seemed to bathe everything in a liquid gold, it was the months, the passing moments that pleased the queen the most, especially the day when the royal couple set out to find new parts for the crowns that they had made every year. ,,If you're ready, my light, we can go,” she heard his voice.
She looked into his eyes, which had been gazing at her with the same love for thousands of years, and saw the royal couple riding on the elks with a group of soldiers as a patrol behind them.
But even if she had seen something, she had learned to ignore it. ,,Nothing stands in the way of our harvest except our ability to see too much grace in everything,” she replied, hearing the silent smile from his lips before the couple swung themselves onto the majestic animals and rode out through the castle gates, over the bridge and into the forest.
A ride they had both done thousands of times for each season, four times a year, and it never got boring, the forest had beauty and treasures that could be rediscovered over and over again.
She looked to her left and saw her husband's thoughtful expression, the slight narrowing of his eyes as he considered which plants, flowers and berries he would choose. He looked cute, she thought, remembering his first years in office when he was not yet fully aware of his power.
Taking her hand from the reins and going to his, she squeezed it lightly, seeing how she brought him out of his thoughts and he gave her a briefly wounded look before shaking his head at himself and giving her a kiss on the forehead, ,,Thank you, my light,” he said, and the couple continued on their way.
Sometimes it only took an hour and they were back, much to the delight of Legolas, who wanted to spend more time with his parents. Sometimes, however, it took hours if the couple could not make up their minds and felt that the forest had other concerns to share.
Being the king and queen of Mirkwood was both a curse and a blessing, but whenever she saw his loving gaze, when he took her hand and kissed her on the forehead, she knew that everything would be all right.
When the sun shone through the thicket of trees and bushes, warming her skin and bringing the forest to life, she saw the orange among the bushes and made her stag stop.
,,You're thinking too much again, my dear… I'll take this pumpkin with maple and oak wood,” she announced to him and to the group, who had a basket ready to collect the said ingredients from the surrounding area , although they had already gathered it themselves, but after they both sensed something approaching from afar that was not good for them, they knew that the safety of the kingdom and especially of the two of them was greater.
She couldn't stop the smile that crept across her lips and her sensitive ears caught the snort that her husband let out, ,,Once again I am surprised by your connection to small things, things, my love,” he said in a slightly snide tone that turned into laughter when he saw her bewildered expression and he brushed an apologetic cheek against her.
She felt the cool rings on her skin before she leaned forward to return his kiss, which they exchanged before they went back, knowing that her beloved would make the same choice of crown as she had.
If he chose the crown alone, they would stand here for another hundred years and make no progress. ,,My heart is yours,” she heard him murmur before she turned back to the castle and ran her fingers over his one last time before he followed her.
The couple made their way back to the palace, where they were not only greeted by a relieved Legolas, but also received a warm welcome from the king, who fetched a fine wine from the cellar for the loving ruling couple.

Y’know, the ending of botfa was such a wonder to behold. BEAR WITH ME HERE OKAY, HEAR MY POINTS.
I’ll start by breaking down some of the scenes. So first, we have the scene were Fili is momentarily captured by Azog at the top of that old abandoned fortress-thing with all of Azog’s army behind him. Then good old Azzerz (thats my name for azog) does his speech about which order he’d kill everyone in his plan that went horribly wrong, f in chat for azog.
And then Fili does that badass backwards spinning-kick and knocks Azog to the floor, then he dodges all of the army like a pro and kills like 75% of them (we all know how it goes so there’s no point going through it. But fili was awesome in that moment so i just want some appreciation for him there)
And THEN we cut to Kili, Bolg and Tauriel. I love the dynamic between Kili and Tauriel in that moment as they work together to take out Bolg, jumping off rocks and attacking him from both sides and being fabulous as always. Especially that bit where Bolg grabs Kili then Tauriel walks up behind him and kicks him in the balls. What an amazing scene. Then they manage to chase him to Legolas and that sketchy bridge that looks like it would collapse at any minute and Legolas starts flexing his skills and spins and slashes and runs up the bridge as it collapses in slow motion and nearly falls then flips himself back up again and does that cool thing where he stabs Bolg in the head and bounces off his shoulders and the whole bridge sinks then collapses and Bolg dies from fall damage then just in case he wasnt dead, the piece of rubble falls on him. Then Tauriel and Kili finally kiss and see Legolas stood far in the distance and wave at him and he finally accepts that Tauriel friendzoned him but he’s totally chill with it and it’s so wholesome.
AND THEN WE HAVE THORIN VS AZOG!! AND THORIN COMPLETELY WRECKS HIM! So they fight on the ice and Thorin uses Azog’s weight against him. We all know how he picks up Azzer’s big old wrecking ball thing and throws it at him and Azog goes under the ice. Then Thorin starts following him which tbh could have been quite a risky move and could’ve got him killed, but he sees Azog’s eyes open and does a BACKFLIP to avoid Azzer’s sword and does a majestic hair-flip, then yells a dwarvish war-cry and starts attacking him. Then it goes a bit downhill as we all know and how as Thorin’s pinned against the floor, Bilbo comes running at Azog and knocks him off and Thorin’s like “omagawsh ma husband here to save me <33” then Azog is on the floor cus bilbo wrecked him, and Thorin does that thing where he waltzes up to him holding bilbo’s hand and stabs Azog in the back and its so cool tho
and then Thorin proposes to bilbo, they reunite with Fili & Kili and they all hug and they’re tearful and Dwalin shows up and gives them a big old bear hug and its the sweetest. And then the eagles show up and take them all away from the oncoming army.
then when bilbo’s going home, thorin basically does the same as sam and bilbo’s like “i’m going home alone.” Then thorin says “of course you are. And I’m coming with you!!” It’s such a nice nod to lotr and i cried my eyes out there. Then they kiss again and all the dwarves cheer and Kili’s there holding tauriel’s hand then BARD AND THRANDUIL SHOW UP and make up with thorin and the company then Bard and Thrandy kiss too and Thranduil proposes to Bard then Kili proposes to tauriel and thennnnn (sorry for the long post) they all have a joint wedding at the shire and all the hobbits are like 0.0 “wat” at the sight of all these dwarves and elves and men but they embrace it all confused like “those are gonna be some interesting kids lmao!!”
then you see thorin moving in with bilbo after giving the crown to Fili and i cried again when they adopted frodo and you see Fili as King under the Mountain with lots of children and you can see how he looks slightly older and Peter Jackson and the makeup crew did such a good job portraying all the horrors they SURVIVED and LIVED to tell the tale of. And then it cuts to Gandalf showing up like 50 years later and you can see thorin sat in the back in an armchair reading a book and i cried again. overall such a wholesome movie and my favourite out of all three. Love that movie to DEATH haha, death’s a funny thing to mention considering how little of it there was 😅
sorry again for the long post but i had to rant about that movie!

Skrungly elf lady with shit posture and missing teeth you can always see bc she’s always grinning, one side of her face drooping from when it got melted by dragon fire, no make up just layers of dirt and dried gore, local ridiculously long lived magical humanoid out here living her best life making bad choices until it actively kills her and she has NO mental illness at all. The only tragedy in her life is that one time a group of friends threw her into a river and scrubbed her with soap while she was fully clothed so a monster would stop tracking them with the scent of it’s dried blood on her. She’s still looking for that monster. In her heart of hearts she clings to the hope of someday finally fighting it again, she doesn’t know it’s great-great grand spawn probably died a century ago.
Fancy dwarf lady who shrieks if the wrong kind of sediment gets on her bc it’s clashing with her carefully styled beard, cannot be trusted to buy or barter anything when she will give the clothes off her back for what is to the uncultured a completely normal grey rock but which other dwarves of taste will confirm as a very cute normal grey rock, she thinks smithing and stone work are the unethical domestication of majestic wild stones and refuses to handle any of the stuff, wears zero jewels or metal, enjoys breaking stone buildings or metal chains as an act of protest against the rock-abusing status quo. Uses stoneskin potions or actual basilisk stares for “meditation” where she tries to understand stone by becoming it, basically addicted to being petrified, possibly also very turned on by it. Her ideal woman is a Medusa who won’t wander off right after turning her to stone.
the skrungly elf lady once asked fancy dwarf lady if ice counts as a rock, and if that means all water is just melted stone. fancy dwarf lady was horrified. fancy dwarf lady is now also obsessed with taking cold damage and possibly freezing solid the entire material realm and every other plane of existence she can get her totally not evil hands on. skrungly elf lady thinks that sounds like fun~

MGiME but OC has transmigrated/isekai'd into a heartbroken Gilraen after Arathorn's death.
OC to herself probably: No, you cannot moon over your own child! That's so gross. Legolas though... Yeah no, he's your kid's bff, get yourself together woman!
But what can OC do? She's 23 feeling 17, a widow of a man she doesn't know, and the mother of a 2-yr old Aragorn! If she cannot be a 10th walker, then she's gonna make full use of her high status and meet all her favourite characters!
So when Elrond welcomes the mother and child into Rivendell for protection, he expects a woman barely functioning through her grief: so deep was the love between Arathorn and Gilraen.
But what Elrond gets instead is a woman who flirts with him!!?? And Glorfindel?! And Erestor too??!!
(Though curiously, when Elrohir tries to trifle with her, emboldened by her rather over-friendliness with every elf of importance in the vicinity, he is treated to her motherly fussing instead, much to Elladan's amusement.)
When the company of Thorin Oakenshield passes through, you can bet your ponies that OC!Gilraen is hanging out with the dwarves instead of hiding away, fawning over His majestic Mr. Majesty, Thorin, and trying to join his quest.
(She doesn't. Little Estel puts a stop to that madness by pouting and wobbling his lips until tears glisten in his silver-grey eyes and OC!Gilraen has always been a simp for Aragorn, be he 10 or 88. She still slips a love note to Thorin before he leaves, warning him about his impending doom, which promptly gets lost in the goblin caves, washed out as it was in the rains, changing nothing.)
Just... Aragorn growing up with a mother who is full of life and love for him. A mother who would look at him and see her favourite person in all of Arda, instead of a ghost of someone she held dearer than life.
(And when he is named Elessar and crowned king, OC!Gilraen is there, 102 but looking barely a decade older than him — more a sister in the people's eyes than his mother. And OC may be a centenarian, but holy hell, that silver fox over there, is that the Prince of Dol Amroth!!??)

The veilguard so far, is not bad.
I have some minor gripes (I do not like what they’ve done with the dark spawn, and at least in the beginning some of the acting is a bit stiff, but that’s mostly aesthetic). I’m a big fan of the character creator, though it’s not quite what I was expecting. And some of the actions and unlocking of pathways in certain maps is kind of giving the same vibe as that Spyro and Cinder game that was out some time around 2010?
My biggest issue at the moment is the… well. Sometimes it doesn’t seem exactly true to lore of the past games? I think it might be an effect of introducing certain things that weren’t introduced in game but have been in other media. It feels like everyone and their grandma know about Solas and his actual identity? I was expecting some throw away comments from the grey warden background about dark spawn but so far the initial encounter of blight and dark spawn hasn’t given anything more than my lord of fortune run. But then again, it has been like a hot minute for those in game, so maybe it makes sense. I will say, so far I feel this is the most successful attempt at making a protagonist who actually feels and acts more well suited to being a second in command rather than the leader. Even stoic option Rooks can and do express their concern for how unready they feel.
And already the choices and the approvals are feeling like they matter. You get to see sometimes immediate consequences for them, even as impermanent as they are, which I’m not quite used to. Dragon age in the past usually put a bit of a buffer between choice and consequence.
Feeling a bit betrayed that the Inquisitor is the only previous protagonist we can choose lore for, but kind of heard about that ahead of time.
But I will say I feel like the combat is vastly improved, for multiple reasons (but especially if you weren’t a fan of the more hybrid combat from the last games). You have long range and short/shorter range attacks for every class, and all classes can engage in blade combat. It’s fluid and it’s rather challenging (pleasantly so, I’m playing on nightmare so I have no idea what regular scaling looks like). But we have loads more options and a dodge mechanic that actually works as a normal button rather than some weird power tile (can you tell I hate strategic/planning combat?).
Another cool thing is the game’s scaling actually works (I was so tired of dwarves looking huge next to my qunari, they are now waist height as the Maker intended). And a lot of the moving physics (clothes, hair) are pretty good for the most part.
It’s got a weirdly linear feeling to it so far, I’d say even more so than DA2. More cinematic scenes than I’m used to as well, or at least, maybe it just feels like that because I’m not stuck in the hinterlands for 100 gameplay hours.
I feel like I’m still somewhat in a tutorial phase (despite having recruited two characters already) so it could be that the freedom to move and explore will more closely match DA2, as well as some of the stiffness and the overstating of the obvious will drop off after this more introductory time in the beginning.
I will say, I feel like Varric as a narrator is being underutilized, but he is majestic just as always, so at least there’s that.

With the travel on the long boring cart ride from the tower to another tower of one of the 3 cities below. On each bridge connecting the spire to the town tower and to each other.
6 floating guard towers slowly rotating around the bridges. From one to another. On the top and bottom of each rotating guard tower, out and in comes dragons. Four elven bow guards riding on those majestic beasts clad in the same armor like their riders.
If not three elves. It's two dwarves. With a special weaponry they had mounted on the saddle. It is a heavy mounted repeated arrow launcher.
Or a mix of a dwarf and two elves. In their respective positions and preferred weaponries in hand.
All said towers and guards. Strictly patrolling and surveying the spire and the three towns below.
If jacwyn had fear of heights. It would be best for her to not look down, as stated before. The bridge is almost clear, slightly frosted look.
As time passes on. With drac relaxing her mind with his spells. He rested with her. The cart would abruptly stop once they have reached their destination. Him holding her back as he waits for the others to move out first before going out himself
Letting his hand towards her to lend his hand for her steady herself when exiting the carriage.
He would be ready to catch her if she stumbled out.
Jacwyn carefully stepped out of the carriage, letting Drac help her as she descends. The world was truly amazing, but with all she'd seen she felt like she was starting to get used to it. After seeing one miracle it's stunning, but seeing a hundred in an hour and it becomes common place. She still hadn't quite grasped what the true natural order of the world here was, but it was lovely. "Thank you Drac, so where are we now?"

The Hobbit - A Kili X F!Reader Fanfic
Masterlist
But Daddy, I Love Him!
In the Woodland Palace, Y/n clashes with her father, Thranduil, over her arranged marriage and her love for Kili. Despite the tension, Y/n reconciles with the Company and strengthens her bond with Kili through shared moments and a gifted talisman, solidifying their connection amidst challenges.
Tw- familial conflict, arranged marriage
The Woodland Palace stood as a marvel of elven craftsmanship, a testament to the elegance and beauty of the woodland realm. Tall spires adorned with intricate carvings reached skyward, their graceful arcs reflecting the dappled sunlight that filtered through the canopy of ancient trees overhead. Elaborate bridges spanned sparkling streams, leading to arched doorways framed by living vines and blossoming flowers. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flora, and the gentle murmur of waterfalls provided a soothing backdrop to the serene atmosphere.
Inside the palace, the grand hall was adorned with shimmering tapestries depicting scenes from elven lore, while delicate crystal chandeliers cast a soft glow over the polished marble floors. Elaborate mosaics adorned the walls, their intricate patterns capturing the ethereal beauty of the forest that surrounded them.
In this majestic setting, Y/n found herself in a heated argument with Thranduil, her father, as they stood before the imposing throne that overlooked the grand hall. His expression was stern, his eyes filled with a mixture of concern and determination as he addressed his daughter.
"Y/n, you will stay," Thranduil demanded, his voice cold and authoritative. "You will follow the plan your mother and I had for you. You will marry Erland and secure our lineage with children."
Y/n's eyes widened in disbelief, her heart pounding with defiance and desperation. "I won't do it, Father!" she exclaimed, her voice quivering with emotion. "I don't love Erland. He is a pompous arsehole and i dont love him i love-” She looked behind her to were the path that the dwarves had followed led,
“Kili.” She declared looking up at Thorin.
Thranduil's expression darkened, his disgust evident as he looked upon his daughter. "You would throw away your duty, your birthright, for a dwarf?" he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt.
Y/n's anger flared, her eyes flashing with defiance as she met her father's gaze. "Kili is not just a dwarf, Father. He is brave, kind, and honorable. He loves me for who I am, not for some political alliance."
The air between them crackled with tension, the weight of their disagreement casting a shadow over the opulent surroundings. Thranduil's face was a mask of disappointment and disapproval, his hopes for Y/n's future crumbling before his eyes.
"Enough!" he thundered, his voice resonating through the hall. "You will obey me, Y/n. You will forget this foolish infatuation with the dwarf and do what is best for our people."
Y/n's frustration flared at his protective stance, her own determination rising to meet his. "Father, I am not a child anymore," she retorted, her voice echoing through the hall. "I have a right to be with the company, my friends. I've made my decision."
Thranduil's expression softened, his eyes pleading with her as he spoke. "I cannot bear the thought of losing you again, Y/n. Please, stay with me. Let us celebrate your return together."
Y/n looked to Thorin for support, hoping he would speak on her behalf. But he remained silent, his gaze unreadable as he watched the exchange unfold.
Frustrated and hurt by Thorin's silence, Y/n's resolve hardened. Without another word, she turned and stormed away, her footsteps echoing loudly on the marble floor as she made her way towards the palace exit.
Legolas, sensing the tension and the pain behind Y/n's anger, followed closely behind her, his own heart heavy with the weight of their complicated family dynamics. As they left the grand hall behind, the echoes of their argument lingered, a poignant reminder of the challenges and obstacles that lay ahead for them all.
In the grandeur of the Woodland Palace, the tension between Y/n and Thranduil reached a boiling point, their voices echoing through the ornate halls as they clashed over her future.
Y/n stood her ground, her resolve unwavering despite her father's anger. "I cannot and will not marry Erland," she declared, her voice firm with conviction. "I choose love, Father, and I choose Kili."
With those final words, Y/n turned away from her father, her heart heavy with the pain of their disagreement. Thranduil watched her go, his expression a mixture of anger, sorrow, and disbelief as he grappled with the reality of his daughter's choices.
The echoes of their heated argument lingered in the air, a stark reminder of the rift that had grown between them, casting a shadow over the future and leaving both father and daughter to face the consequences of their deeply held beliefs and desires
In the sanctuary of her room within the Woodland Palace, Y/n stood dressed in an elegant elven gown, its fabric shimmering like moonlight on water. The intricate embroidery of silver threads traced delicate patterns across the gown, reflecting the elegance and grace of her elven heritage. Her eyes were distant, filled with a mixture of sadness and contemplation as she stared out of the ornate window, the beauty of the woodland realm stretching out before her, yet failing to soothe the turmoil within her heart.
The weight of her argument with Thranduil, the uncertainty of her future, and the complexities of her relationships with both her father and the company weighed heavily on her mind. Lost in thought, she was unaware of Legolas' silent entrance into her room, his concern evident as he approached her cautiously.
"Y/n," Legolas' voice was gentle, his concern evident as he sought to comfort his sister. "I know this is difficult, but you must go to the company. Mend the relationships you believe are broken."
Y/n turned to face him, her eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and determination. "Thank you, Legolas," she whispered, her voice filled with resolve as she prepared to face the challenges ahead.
With a nod of encouragement from Legolas, Y/n made her way to the prison cells, her footsteps echoing softly in the dimly lit corridors. As she approached, she heard the muffled voices of the company, their conversation serious and tense.
Stepping into the cell, Y/n's presence drew surprised glances from the company, their expressions a mixture of curiosity and relief at her unexpected arrival. With a playful smile, Y/n broke the tension, making a light-hearted joke that elicited a few chuckles and smiles from the weary group.
Realizing the gravity of her previous actions, Y/n took a moment to apologize to the company, her sincerity evident as she sought to make amends. "I'm truly sorry for the pain and confusion I've caused," she said, her voice soft yet firm. "I want to make things right."
She then approached Thorin, her eyes meeting his as she made a heartfelt promise. "I will get you out of here, Thorin," Y/n vowed, her determination unwavering as she looked upon the dwarf she had come to care for deeply.
Thorin's eyes softened, a hint of a smile playing on his lips as he regarded Y/n. "You look so much like your mother. As stubborn as well. Yet her beauty seem to pass on to you." he murmured, his voice filled with warmth and affection despite the circumstances. He looked to were Kili’s cell was. “I believe that he loves you to you know, the way he looks at you. It’s obvious. Go get him, tiger.”
Embracing the moment, Y/n then sought out Kili, her heart pounding with a mixture of anticipation and hope as she approached him.
Kili leaned against the cold stone wall, his eyes locked on Y/n as she approached him with a confident stride. The dim light of the cell cast soft shadows on her face, highlighting the delicate features that made her even more captivating in his eyes.
"You know," Kili began, a playful smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, "when I first saw you in that elven dress, I thought you might decide to stay and become one with the elves. You do look rather enchanting in it."
Y/n chuckled, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she met Kili's gaze. "Oh, is that so?" she teased, her voice dripping with feigned innocence. "Maybe I was considering it, but then I remembered how much I'd miss your charming company."
Kili's laughter echoed in the cell, his heart lightening at the playful banter. "Ah, so it's my irresistible charm that keeps you coming back for more," he quipped, his eyes dancing with amusement.
Y/n rolled her eyes playfully, her lips curving into a flirtatious smile. "Well, that and your dashing good looks," she replied, her voice soft and teasing as she moved closer to him.
Kili's breath caught in his throat as Y/n's proximity sent a pleasant shiver down his spine. "Is that so?" he whispered, the air between them charged with electricity. "I must say, your taste in company isn't too bad either."
Kili reached into his pocket, retrieving a small, intricately carved stone. Its surface shimmered with a subtle iridescence, reflecting the dim light of the cell in soft glimmers. The stone was a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, its delicate engravings telling a story of dwarven lore and tradition.
"I've been meaning to show you this," Kili said, his voice gentle as he held out the stone for Y/n to see. "It is a talisman, a powerful spell lies upon it. If any but a dwarf reads the runes on the stone, they will be forever cursed, or not. Depending on whether you believe that kind of thing. It's just a token - a rune-stone. My mother gave it to me so I'd remember my promise."
Y/n's eyes widened in admiration as she took the stone in her hands, tracing the intricate carvings with her fingertips. The stone felt cool and smooth against her skin, its weight comforting in her grasp.
"It's beautiful, Kili," Y/n whispered, her voice filled with awe and appreciation. "The craftsmanship is truly remarkable."
Kili smiled, his eyes warm as he watched Y/n admire the stone.
Y/n's heart swelled with emotion, her connection to Kili deepening as she held the stone in her hands. "Thank you for sharing this with me," she said, her voice filled with gratitude. "It means a lot to me."
As they shared this intimate moment, the stone serving as a tangible link to their shared history and shared dreams, Y/n and Kili felt their bond strengthen, anchoring them amidst the chaos and uncertainty that surrounded them.

Thoughts on the finale? I really loved it. It did hurt my heart a bit to see Elrond standing alone in the last shot though. GALADRIEL THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. She was amazing!! When she fell I was like “narrative parallels.” I like to think Elrond still has a healthy dose of fear of the rings but he loved her more than that fear. Also, Galadriel how did you survive the fall? Do have any explanations because I’m 🤷‍♀️ Maybe Morgoth’s crown had something to do with it or Nenya. Elrond getting mad over the texts is so me. Like yes king care about history and knowledge!
How have you been?
I LOVED IT. Honestly, this was one of the most epic masterpieces of TV. The battle? Absolute perfection. That scene between Annatar and Celebrimbor, with his almost Shakespearean prophecy, and Charles Edwards’ phenomenal performance? INCREDIBLE. THE BALROG LOOKED MAJESTIC. And when Durin, even in his grief, still sent an army to help Elrond, it had me wailing 😭 I KNEW the dwarves would come!!! I knew it!
Also, Elrond gets hotter with every episode. The moment with the ancient lore was so valid. I was furious when they destroyed it 😭 AND WHEN HE HEALED GALADRIEL??? If that’s the start of his healer arc, I will scream!!!
But it's bittersweet because now it’s over, and we have to wait another two years 🥲 (still desperately clinging to that one mention of "next year" in one of the interviews 🤞)
Thank you for the ask! 🫶🏻

I want to see my little boy (Isildur). (Where is heeeee?)
Hello Glüg, you SDCC photo gem.
Ah Waldreg you fucker. Guess you figured out between seasons that he ain't Sauron.
Lmao not Sauron pulling a Moses on Adar. Wtf are you doing buddy?
Nori my beloved
Wow The Stranger has so much vocabulary now. I still think he swallowed a Harfoot dictionary.
Ok additional Harfoot food note: Beetles (scarab beetles?)
Oh yeah some fic writers are reaaaaally gonna enjoy the scenes of Halron chained and collared. Here comes another fic deluge!
Sauron, don't you remember what happened with Huan in the FA?
BEN DANIELS TIME LET'S GOOOOO.
RIP to this random elf messenger bc I don't think he's gonna make it.
Ben Daniels has the raaaaange.
Eärendil mentionnnn. And Beleriand mention! I wonder why the Mariana Trench option wasn't considered in the TA. Update: Ok nvm Círdan will answer that for us.
Poppy! Hopefully the others can still travel without the maps she took.
The music is so prettyyyy.
"Your people have been set free." #doubt (show me the proof! also why did Sauron want that? He needed slaves to work the fields in Mordor, right?)
Ah Waldreg did die in the exact episode we predicted.
More elf nuns!
Elf costumes! I need an analysis post!
Lmao Elrond's face. "Grunkle Círdan, you betrayed meeee!"
Galadriel: How 'bout I do anyway?
Elrond: Thanks I hate it.
Galadriel: Please don't jump off waterfalls again.
Mirdania! Aw shit Halron got there before the nameless doomed Lindon elf.
Ominous ending music, Bear.
Episode 2
DWARVES MY BELOVED
I love the terrace farming so much.
Dwarf food note: Mole-tail stew, Large mushroom (chanterelle-like) that is very valuable, smaller mushrooms, gourds!
ilu Disa
This scene was exactly what I needed for dwarves and dwarvish food reasons.
Oh shit not my dwarves :(((
Alfirin seeds!
Ooh creepy!
New elf characters! Do they have names? Please give them names!
"Crush two spiders with one boot." Ooh I hate the foreshadowing of that metaphor. Hates it, hates it.
More foreshadowiiiing.
Mirror of Galadriel foreshadowing specifically!
Eregion is so beautiful and majestic (thanks, Season 2 budget!). Sure do hope nothing bad happens to it! (sobbing)
Yup, RIP Lindon messenger elves.

Skeletor! (By the power of Grayskull!)
Ooh cultists.
The Dweller is back!
"curse upon our flesh" wut
I have a bad feeling about this. (Wait, wrong fandom)
Where is Narviiii.
Do Disa's friends have naaames? Wait x-ray actually was helpful for once. Rachel Payne as Brenna and Laura Jane Matthewson as Revna! I'm so happy she has named friends who even gossip!
Hi Narvi!
King Durin: But do I still have grandparent's rights?
"Stubborn as a root-bound parsnip!" Hah.
Oh my god he's working on ships. I love that so much.
Ooh shit a flashback to the woods scene from Udûn.
Why are you shaving, sir? Sir.
Ahhhh poetry mentions from the FA! How nerdy.
The bell seems bad.
Eye of Sauron?
Uh-oh. Is this how he learns how squishy hobbits are on adventures?
Ooh he's developing door ideas. Fun!
I get the feeling Mirdania ain't gonna last the season, either.
Fuuuck tower foreshadowing.
Ooh elf umbrella!
Oh you little weasel!
"I'm going to open a First Age bottle." Love that detail.
"Are you my friend?" Hoo boi.
Ominous thunderclap. Ooooh.
Is he gonna larp as an Istar? Lmao.
"Soon every realm will fall." Because of you, asshole!
Title drop!
Wow. Okay. Playing on his insecurities and also calling him the "Lord of the Rings". Overdoing it a bit much there, Ronnie?
"I am your partner." screech
Pope-galad says you need babysitter, Gal. I'm sure this will go splendidly!
Episode 3
Bronwyn ;_;
Berek best boi my beloved
Sad Elendil and Valandil :(((

More title dropping!
"--a friend." The emphasis was so funny.
Durin is suspicious. Love it.
Celebrimbor: Well if I start a Catholic schism then so be it.
It is your moment, Holly-boy, but also your doom. You're being Anakined into Vader by Palpannatar.
Isildur has discovered the DnD means of equipment acquisition.

Arondir ;_;
Bronwyn :(((( fuck I'm so sad about this
I will never recover from the Aronwyn ship, I fear :(
Theo, buddy, need someone to talk to?
Sad version of Aronwyn theme nooooo :(
Really not liking how much King Durin's crown sorta resembles Sauron's this season.
Theo taking over his mother's skills :(
Yup, poisoned orc arrow theory confirmed.
Stepparenting with foreshadowing for Numenor, delightfulll.
Please don't be foreshadowing.
Who is his dad? Oh no hurtful, Theo. Buddy :(
My Garden Fam is broken and I'm deeply unwell about it.
Theo-Isildur friendship time?
BEREK HEIST BEREK HEIST
Isildur really is so relieved to be alive and not eaten by spiders that he's gone friend mode. How very like his Grunkle Elrond!
Oh no Isildur mom backstory :(
Don't cry Isildur and Theo bc then I'm gonna cry ;;_;;
Also now this is a narrative parallel!
Ah good gift discussion next to the word "precious" is throwing my brain. Oh lordy.
Please don't be evil, Estrid! I'm already suffering without Bronwyn and both Disa and Míriel are doomed af.
Theo wtf are you doing?
ENTS.
No don't lose the sword Galadriel gave you!
Míriel in white, Elendil in blue and gold, Pharazôn in red. Totally Kate Hawley doing some fascinating storytelling here.
Oh no my quote about Elendil and his daughter in a courtroom is suddenly very apt. Oh dear.
What did Elendil see?
Huh the unrest happened sooner than I thought.
EAGLE TIME LET'S GOOOO!
Eagle: Y'all are gonna die!
Elendil: Top 10 anime betrayals and by my own daughter. Wtf.
Annatar gets his own cute lil forging outfit :D
More symbolism!

Coming Soon - Heart of Middle Earth Series
In a land far, far away, there lived a young girl named Y/n. Y/n was an ordinary girl from Earth, living her everyday life until one day, she found herself falling into a portal that transported her to Middle Earth.
As she landed on the unfamiliar ground, Y/n looked around in awe at the majestic mountains and lush forests that surrounded her. She realized she was no longer in her own world, but in a place of magic and wonder.
As she wandered through the strange land, she stumbled upon a group of dwarves traveling through the forest. Among them was a handsome and brave dwarf named Fili Durin. Fili had a kind heart and a fierce spirit, and Y/n found herself drawn to him in a way she had never experienced before.
Fili was intrigued by the mysterious girl who had suddenly appeared in their midst, and he found himself captivated by her beauty and her spirit. As they traveled together, battling orcs and facing challenges along the way, their bond grew stronger.
Despite the differences in their worlds and the obstacles they faced, Y/n and Fili found themselves falling in love. Their love was like a flame in the darkness, burning brightly and fiercely, lighting up the shadows that surrounded them.
As they journeyed through Middle Earth together, their love only grew stronger with each passing day. Fili had never met anyone like Y/n before, and he knew in his heart that she was the one he had been searching for all along.
