@duckingwriting got me! Thanks :D Passing the tag onto @clearcloudlesssky @queen-tashie @cowboybrunch @kaylinalexanderbooks @spideronthesun and leaving an open tag :)
Editing Memento Mori Part II so that I can post it online, and have started to re-write some scenes that are pretty clunky in the first draft.
Five-ish lines:
“That’s fine, I’ll take it as is,” whilst I preferred milk in my tea when I was at home, I didn’t want to risk getting an upset stomach from milk that had spoiled in the heat. And black tea was better than no tea. “You said you were hunting?” “Yeah,” Caleb spoke with his mouth full, a sliver of blood dripping down his chin. He leant in, keeping his voice low. “An unregistered citizen. We’ve named him Apollo. He’s dangerous.” “Because he’s unregistered?” I pushed my curried lentils around in the tray, not really feeling hungry, despite not having eaten in over a week.
#Morgana Dodds#I ran my WIP through a word cloud generator and 'tea' is one of the most used words#mainly because I drink so much of it <.<#I have cut down though#mainly by switching to decaf#my nervous system is stimulated enough thanks to my natural state of being which is anxiety!#caffeine#it puts me over the edge!!

As threatened, a Genshin Impact fan-fic I in no way expected to be writing.
Come enjoy my thesis on why the Knave is the most strictly moral of the Harbingers thus far, why the House of the Hearth makes a ton of sense as the project of deeply traumatised kids trying to take control of their lives, and why Lyney is probably going to be a great leader some day, stress-induced heart-attacks permitting.

bakugou katuski wasn’t sure how you managed to break his shell. he didn’t find himself surrounded by friends— shitty hair, raccoon eyes and dunce face forced themselves around him so they didn’t really give him a choice (though he secretly appreciated it).
but, you, tenacious, vexatious, obnoxious, you found your way to him. he despised how easily you spoke to him, like a mother to a toddler. do you know who he is?
it was first year. bakugou knew who you were, how could he not miss the clamorous sound, also known as your voice, every morning. you were aggravating, but you were tolerable. he realized that when you two were paired for an assignment. you were assertive, deeming that you could hold your own against his trivial insults. it wasn’t admiration that struck him that day. no, not even close. you just earned a little bit of respect.
soon after, you were attached to his hip. why? he couldn’t even answer that. every morning you’d meet him halfway at a local coffee shop to make your trip to ua, because “who wants to walk alone?” was your reasoning. he didn’t believe your statement, but he disregarded it. in fact, he looks forward to his morning walks with you every night, sometimes even waking up earlier than usual to buy the two of you a beverage before you arrived. a decaf coffee for himself and an iced coffee for you. “i was thirsty. it’s just a one time thing.” was his answer when you first asked, but you and him both knew it wasn’t.
you two had daily conversations: mainly about school, how deku has ticked him off for the millionth time, or some stupid shit you brought up to irritate him as a joke. you were the only person he could converse with and not feel completely enraged by the end of it. he supposed that your voice wasn’t so clamorous after all.
it wasn’t until after class 1a moved into dorms that he started to notice things about you. instead parting your hair in the middle, you did a side part. you often switched the two every couple of days. you preferred sweet candy over sour, but you were obsessed with spicy food. you routinely listened to the same artists; he makes a mental note to force you to listen to new music. you always exercised in the training room at six o’clock on the dot, never a minute before or after.
bakugou knew he was fucked when he began looking for you.
movie night in the dorms lounge? he consistently searches for your figure, because if you’re not there he’s simply not going. choosing partners for an assignment? of course, it’s you, it has to be you. who else would be able to bear with him? a new album was released from his favorite rock band? he waits to listen, because you had to be there.
he even found himself doing stupid shit for you. like holding your backpack for you, because ‘it makes your back ache’. cooking for you because you’ve overworked yourself, you needed the nutrients anyway. helping you study for the next test, groaning at how easy it is and you should understand it, but deep down, he doesn’t mind. he’d save a spot for you next to him on the couch whenever everyone would do a group activities, you don’t deserve to sit on the floor like the rest of the extras.
bakugou was gentle when he was around you, everyone noticed it too. at first, it was a revelation to his classmates, surprised that bakugou could do such sweet things. it felt as if bakugou was painted a new man on a perfect canvas. but, they soon realized it was only you he was this way towards. his aggressive behavior remained with the rest.
though, the man himself didn’t realize his transformation until denki mentioned.
“how come you don’t yell at y/n, but you scream at us all the time?”
bakugou’s face contorted with confusion. that wasn’t true. “the fuck you talking about, dunce face?”
he shrugged, “i don’t know. i just feel like you’re more chill with her than any of us.” mina and kirishima co-signed his words with a nod of agreement.
silence surrounded the room, bakugou’s eyes planted on the floor.
he wanted to say because it’s you, beautiful, determinate, fierce, alluring, you. but, instead, the corner of his lip quirked up into a smirk, his eyes dawning onto the golden-haired boy in front of him.
“she’s bearable.”
like always, his words failed to convey his true emotions. bakugou katuski knew you weren’t just bearable. oh no. you were a million things more than that; you were his anchor to his crazed storm.

Start of Day 1
First | Prev | Next
---------------------
Everyone took a bit of time getting ready this morning. It was preplanned that April, Cass and Donnie would take the first shift in the booth.
Leo with his Broach on was dressed in a gender bend Nessa Cosplay. Along with River made up to look like a Drednaw. He was going to be walking around and interviewing people as part of the agreement with the Con Staff.
Raph was picked to be the first Meet and Greet focus. It was a bit awkward doing this from the hotel, but they didn't want to rely on Leo needing to Portal them to the studio and back.
Raph was fine with this since he wanted to talk with Star about grabbing any souvenirs, and plans for an upcoming event and maybe some dates.
Mikey and CJ left to get to the Artist Alley after grabbing breakfast. Mikey had to change up his broaches glamor to make him less recognizable. Even though it was mainly just doing his hair in braids with multicolored beads, and swapping his painting gear for black coveralls with stylized graffiti graphics over an orange shirt and boots.
Donnie finished changing their glamors clothes, and lead the way to the Convention. They wanted to keep up with the schedule as closely as possible, given their luck. At least they were able to enter through a side entrance and not get stuck out front.
The Purple Dragons were carrying Shelldon and the Dragonetes until they got inside, then they would be semi monitoring the live stream feeds, while also checking out what they wanted.
The booth crew checked over the stock again, made some adjustments, and started up the Holoscreen to test that the model tracking was working properly.
They just had to wait for the announcement of the con officially starting.
💙
Leo wandered to the side to get the stream he would be in charge of started, and send out notices on the proper socials, and not his BlueNeon account, though he did post that 'BlueNeon' would be watching the live streams when not doing a meet and greet.
He walks out to an area overlooking the crowds below, and looks to River who has her camera feature turned on, and ready.
"Okay. Ready Riv?"
"The stream is up and running Ness!"
"Good Morning Con Goers. I'm codename Ness! Live from the floor of this years Social Media Con! We got Five Drones on loan from Genius Built, yes the VTurtles parent company, flying around the con, and you can switch which one you're viewing with the controls listed below." Leo points downward to where he was told the layout for the controls were shown, "Now if you feel up to it, I will be conducting interviews around the events, but remember. This is LIVE, so watch how you act. Don't want to loose your badge now do ya?"
🧡
Mikey was a bit surprised that other artists already there wanted to either buy his stuff, do an art trade, or ask if he was open for commissions. While he knows his stuff is popular, it never stopped surprising his when other artist wanted to buy his work.
Him and CJ did some quick transactions before the Alley opened to the public, and they braced for the predicated crowds of the day, and hope to make a few more sales today.
💜
Donnie swears the coffee feels like decaf with how it wasn't helping with fully waking him up. They were calm but still overthinking how the day may go, especially when they switch off with Raph for their turn on the Holoscreen.
April was trying to reassure them, but this was the first time they were running a booth, and the nerves were there, fueling him better than this sad excuse of coffee from the hotel breakfast buffet.
Maybe they've just ruined themselves for non CT coffee. So they started up the portable coffee maker and made a Carafe of the new 'Choco Stardust' blend.
This had the effect of luring in people with the smell of fresh coffee.
Donnie now regrets that they now have to share the coffee.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
💙
It was not to long into the day, and Leo was having fun wandering about, maybe having a quick talk with some people, maybe stop to take pictures.
Though there was already some people who make him wish he wasn't streaming. Because if one more person makes a Vaugly sexual joke about his costume, he will be having technical difficulties, and hope he doesn't get banned from the con.
The cropped rash guard, and legging shorts were apparently just enough to cause some to forget that they were on a Live Stream. Though the random guy who walked into a wall because he was staring at Leo's abs was definitely a bonus.
Leo checked his phone, and saw it was thankfully almost his turn to swap with Raph. "Alright everyone, I'm going to swap out with a different host, and take a meal break. Hope you enjoy the other host for today."
River got the cue to switch to BRB, and they found a place to portal to the hotel room.
❤
Raph was having a great time. Though the AR stuff was a bit confusing at first. The glasses showed him a view from the Holosceen in the booth, and thankfully adjusted to his height for more accurate posing.
So many kids were having fun just flexing with him, many stopping to take pictures infront of the screen. Though he often would bend over, sit down, or get down on a knee to be more easily in frame for pictures.
There were a number of his fans who showed up, they had a quick chat about how he was enjoying the event, and being impressed with the setup. Cause being able to take a picture with Raphs model at full height was a big thing.
Some wished they could actually sit on his shoulders, or grab his arms.
Though the fans were a bit upset to hear that it was time for Raph to switch with someone else, there were some excitement when hearing Blue was up next.
💜
Donnie was enjoying themself for the most part. Especially once he was freed from the booth to wander the building to look at anything that caught their attention.
They got some help in the form of Shelldon, who was flying around the area, relaying info on where certain merch was being sold, and which had rarer stuff set on display.
Donnie had to remember that they couldn't just deploy his hover shell and fly over, he had to dodge and weave their way to the booths, and hopefully rein in the cain instinct it someone got in their way.
Though a few stops to take pictures of some Cosplayers were worth it. Much high praise was given to the cosplayer dressed as his VTurtle self, with a little Shelldon puppet on their shoulder. Though they held back when the Blue cosplayer asked for their opinions.
The ultimate prize of a Limited Release Atomic Lass figure was very much worth the wait, and the bonus of a Jupiter Jim Moon Buggie model from the same booth didn't hurt either.
🧡
Mikeys time in the Artist Alley was pretty chaotic. Then again he didn't expect to have so many people interested in his work. Though the people who basically bought one of almost everything might've been a bit much.
The pieces that got alot of attention though were the ones that were ones he listed as 'proceeds go to Local Art Programs'. Even though those were also the more expensive ones at his table.
The small 'live quick sketch' option was also very popular since they could pick what was drawn, and in what style. With restrictions of course, don't want to get in trouble for a weird suggestion.
Mikey will forever be grateful for CJ helping him, because doing this on his own would've been way more overwhelming. Plus when would he get time to eat or leave the table without worrying about something happening.
----------------
Masterpost
I am so tempted to try writing out the entire day in one post, but then think 'maybe some doesn't want to read that much', then it brings up 'how detailed should this be' and 'what would I even write them doing? Wandering the halls, taking pictures, going into a random panel or workshop?'
I also partially think there should be drama, but I also don't know if I can bring myself to do so without employing 'Disaster Twins Deployment', or Protective Raph.
Name/Nickname: Kellie - no nickname, I was never cool enough for one
Gender: She/Her - but gender is weird, I dunno, the more I think about it the more, I’m like, I dunno.
Star Sign: uhhh, Pisces? Is that was this is?
Height: 5′7″ - some days I wish I was taller, some days I wish I was shorter
Time: 1:18 pm
Birthday: March 2
Favorite Bands: oh this is tough, they tend to cycle depending on my mood. Right now: The Cure, The War on Drugs, New Order, The Decemberists, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Lumineers, Future Islands, The Black Keys, Said the Whale, Lord Huron, and more that I can’t think of...
Favorite Solo Artists: to be honest, I don’t really differentiate between bands and solo artists... The only solo artists that I can really think of (that probably still have bands) are Billy Idol and Dan Mangan. TBH, I have loved Billy Idol for more than half my life...
Song stuck in my head: Psycho Killer by The Talking Heads
Last Movie: Enola Holmes - super cute
Last Show: I’m re-watching Black Sails, the character development in that show is pretty fantastic.
When did I create this blog: I think July of this year? Or maybe June?
What do I post: Mainly fanfic stuff, but that changes depending on what I’m fixated on... When I start school in January, I may subject you all to my musings on chemical engineering. Or I might not, because, honestly, who wants to read about that.
Last thing googled: Stargate - because I couldn’t remember Amanda Tapping’s character name. I love Stargate SG-1, but it has been probably eight years since I’ve watched. My hubby and I were trying to find it on a streaming service to watch again and it wasn’t there.
Other blogs: No... I still don’t know how to run this one
Do I get asks: Rarely! But I love them when I do! That hit of dopamine is fantastic
Why I chose my url: Because I’m a chemical engineer addicted to coffee... Although my anxiety has recently made me switch to decaf.
Following: 292
Followers: 70 and I appreciate every single one
Average hours of sleep: Insomnia is making me get around 5? But then I’m usually awake every hour because of nightmares... so that is not great.
Instruments: None! I wish I could play something though - like the violin or harp, that would be amazing, but it would require too much time, money, and energy. I’m just too old.
What am I wearing: Sweatpants and hoodie - the usual lounging clothes during winter in Canada
Dream job: This is tough. Like so tough. Because I’m so apathetic right now. Dream job that I could actually get - working in a gas plant, using my brain but not having to make major decisions. Dream job - book reviewer or editor? because reading and writing is amazing, but I don’t have enough original ideas to be an author.
Dream trip: Ugh, Scotland for sure. And the rest of the UK. Then the Scandinavian countries, Eastern European countries and Russia.
Favorite food:Coffee? Cheese?
Nationality: Canadian - but my ancestors came from Ireland and Scotland (Clan Fraser!)
Favorite song: It changes so often! But, right now, probably Lullaby by The Cure - it’s just so creepy and eerie.
Last book I read: Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan - I was excited about it because it’s a queer YA novel, but I was pretty disappointed in it.
Top three fictional universes I’d like to live in: Oh.... This is super tough. Possibly the Stranger Things Universe because the ‘80s is amazing (but then I’d have issues with the homophobia and misogyny and would probably be dead in the first five minutes). Maybe the Harry Potter universe - because magic and Scotland. Or in the American Gods universe, but like, as someone’s sidekick, just so I can observe stuff but not be part of the actual events?
Tagging: @thursday-knight @redplaid-on-redplaid @jameslee-k @introvertia @nblesbianbenhanscom @taylorinthetardis @hexlikesramennoodles
but no pressure! Only if you want to!
Caffeine: Does it really work for weight loss?
Breaking down the potential of caffeine for enhanced weight loss
Caffeine is used by millions of people every day to help them stay alert, wake up, and stay asleep. But Caffeine can also be a good tool in weight loss. Does Caffeine work? We will answer this question by weighing the pros and cons of using this powerful supplement for weight loss. To start with, let’s take a look at why Caffeine is so popular with consumers?
How does it regulate our bodies, and if it does do anything else? Then we will look into studies that prove it does work for weight loss.
What is Caffeine?
Caffeine is a compound found in coffee and other beverages that acts as a stimulant. It is also present in chocolate, tea, and cola. Caffeine has several effects on the body, but its most notable impact is to increase alertness and wakefulness.
Caffeine is a bitter, white crystalline xanthine alkaloid that acts as a central nervous system stimulant. The effects of Caffeine on the human body can be far-reaching, but they are most noticeable in the central nervous system.
Caffeine is a common ingredient in many beverages and products, such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate, and many prescription drugs. Caffeine is also present in some foods, such as dark chocolate and cocoa powder.
A brief history of Caffeine
The history of Caffeine begins with the discovery of coffee in Ethiopia. Humans first consumed it in the 9th century, and it soon spread to the rest of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Coffee beans were first introduced to Europe in 1615 when a Venetian merchant named Pietro Della Valle brought them from Constantinople (now Istanbul).
His servant, Pasqua Rosée, opened a coffee shop in Paris, where he served coffee and tea, and chocolate. Caffeine consumption has been divided into two periods: before and after the industrial revolution.
Before the industrial revolution, consumption was much lower than today because people mainly drank water that had been boiled for an extended period. After the industrial revolution began in 1750 and people started drinking more coffee beverages, caffeine consumption increased dramatically till the present due to its body stimulant content (Source).
What drug class is Caffeine under?
Caffeine is a stimulant that belongs to the drug class of methylxanthine. This class also includes other drugs like theobromine and theophylline, found in chocolate and tea, respectively. Also, Caffeine (C8H10N4O2) is the common name for trimethylxanthine (systematic name is 1, 3, 7-trimethylxanthine or 3,7-dihydro-1,3,7-trimethyl-1H-purine-2,6-dione).
The chemical is also known as Caffeine, theine, mateine, guaranine, or methyl theobromine.
What does Caffeine do to your body?
Caffeine is a drug found in coffee, tea, soda, and other products. It can be addictive, and it has many effects on the body. Caffeine acts as a stimulant in the body by blocking adenosine receptors in the brain, which causes neurons to fire more readily.
This means that Caffeine helps you stay awake, but it also increases your heart rate and blood pressure. The effect is temporary—it lasts about 4 hours—and it’s difficult to determine how much Caffeine you need to feel its effects. That’s why most people drink several cups of coffee throughout the day.
They want to maintain their alertness without becoming jittery or having adverse side effects like headaches or stomach ache.
Caffeine can affect your ability to sleep. But it also has many other effects on your body.
Here are some of them:
Increases blood pressure and heart rate (short-term).
Increases alertness (short-term).
Improves performance at specific tasks, such as driving (short-term).
Long-term use of Caffeine can lead to physical dependence on it (which means you feel withdrawal symptoms if you stop using it). If you’re drinking a lot of coffee every day for more than six weeks, talk with your doctor about switching over to decaf.
Or cutting back on your intake, so you don’t run into any problems later down the road!
Is it OK to drink Caffeine every day?
The short answer is yes. The long answer is No, but there are reasons you might want to drink Caffeine every day anyway. Caffeine is a stimulant that can help you stay alert, improve your concentration and mental focus, and increase your energy level.
Caffeine is a stimulant that has many effects on the body. It increases your heart rate and blood pressure, which can be dangerous if you take medication or have heart problems. It also increases dopamine levels in your brain, leading to addiction.
The amount of Caffeine in a cup of coffee varies widely based on the type of brew method used. Brewed coffee has about 100 mg of caffeine per cup (almost half of which is lost when you brew it), whereas instant coffee contains about 50 mg per cup (about one-third of which is lost during the brewing process).
Fortunately, Caffeine has some health benefits as well. It’s been shown to lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of developing type-2 diabetes by improving insulin sensitivity. One study found that people who drank caffeinated coffee three times per week were less likely to die from any cause than non-coffee drinkers in their study population.
Be sure to talk with your doctor if you have any medications that interact with Caffeine (such as certain heart medications) or if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding so that they can help guide your intake based on the individual situation.
Is Caffeine a drug?
Caffeine is a drug and is not. It depends on how addictive you are and what you are. Many people think Caffeine is a drug, but it’s not. Caffeine is an addictive substance that can have adverse side effects if abused, but not a cure.
It is not an illegal substance, but it does have many of the same effects as other drugs, including addiction. Caffeine is one of the most widely used psychoactive substances in the world.
In the United States alone, about 64% of adults consume caffeine daily People consume Caffeine for a variety of reasons: to help them stay awake and alert, to reduce their feelings of tiredness, or even just because they enjoy it (2).
The amount of Caffeine needed to produce these effects can vary widely from person to person. The average person can consume up to 400 milligrams (mg) of Caffeine daily without any adverse side effects.
But if you’re sensitive to it or have been drinking large amounts over time, then even smaller pieces might be harmful to your body.
How does Caffeine work?
Caffeine is a drug that is found naturally in plants. It can also be produced synthetically, and it is used in many over-the-counter medications. Caffeine is a stimulant, which means it increases the activity of the central nervous system.
It also affects other body systems, including the cardiovascular and gastrointestinal systems. Caffeine works by blocking adenosine receptors in your brain, responsible for causing drowsiness.
This makes you feel more alert and energetic when you consume Caffeine. It also acts as a diuretic (a substance that causes urination).
How much Caffeine do you need to lose weight?
Caffeine may be a weight-loss tool, but how much Caffeine do you need to lose weight? The answer is pretty simple: it depends on your body mass index (BMI). If you’re of average weight or underweight, then 200 milligrams (mg) of Caffeine—about what’s in two cups of brewed coffee or four cans of soda—will help you lose weight.
If you’re overweight or obese, the amount of Caffeine needed to help with weight loss is between 300 and 400 mg per day. That means that if you go to Starbucks and get a tall nonfat latte with sugar-free syrup containing about 330 mg of Caffeine. But if you’re not used to drinking coffee and don’t drink it regularly, then that amount might make you feel jittery and anxious.
This doesn’t mean that drinking more coffee will automatically help you lose weight—but it does suggest that if you drink at least 2 cups of coffee every day, increasing your intake can help with weight loss. In that case, you could try drinking just half of it at first.
Which caffeine is best for weight loss?
There are many different types of caffeine available on the market, and some have been shown to have more positive effects on weight loss than others.
In general, coffee is one of the most effective sources of caffeine for weight loss. It contains several beneficial compounds that can reduce appetite, increase metabolism, and help you feel full longer. However, it has also been shown to cause dehydration.
Theobromine (found in chocolate) effectively promotes fat burning. However, its effects are less noticeable than coffee or tea because it takes longer for your body to metabolize it.
Caffeine in coffee: How effective it is for weight loss?
Coffee is one of the most popular sources of caffeine, but it’s not the only one. You can also get your daily dose from tea, chocolate, soda, and even some energy drinks.
Caffeine can have both positive and negative effects on your body. Here are some things you should know before you start drinking more coffee:
Here’s what you need to know about caffeine and coffee for weight loss.
How effective is coffee for weight loss?
Coffee, milk, and sugar
Coffee will help you lose weight, but only if you drink it without cream and sugar. If you add either of these things, your coffee will add calories to your diet and make it more challenging to lose weight.
Coffee does have some benefits for weight loss. According to research published in the Journal of Nutrition:
– Caffeine increases metabolism by 3% – 5% after 1 hour; this effect lasts for 4 hours after drinking coffee (1).
– Drinking a 16 oz cup of black coffee before exercise can improve performance by increasing fat oxidation (2).
– Caffeine can suppress appetite by increasing serotonin levels in the brain (3).
Does caffeine speed up or slow weight loss?
Caffeine does not speed up or slow weight loss. It does, however, affect how you lose weight.
It’s true: caffeine can increase your metabolism and burn more calories during exercise. But it also increases your appetite and reduces the amount of fat you burn throughout the day.
So while caffeine may help you burn more calories during an hour-long workout, it can also cause you to eat more than usual and store those extra calories as fat.
Caffeine helps reduce the amount of fat stored in your body and increase the amount burned off by increasing your metabolism and muscle activity. However, this only occurs when you drink coffee before or during exercise; if coffee is consumed after exercise, it does not help with weight loss!
Green tea is another source of caffeine that has been shown to promote weight loss. Green tea contains chemicals called catechins associated with increased fat burning.
What is the best time to drink coffee for weight loss?
The best time to drink black coffee for weight loss is in the morning, before breakfast. This is because it helps to make you feel full and satisfied. You will not eat as much at breakfast or any other meal throughout the day.
It also helps burn more calories because the caffeine in black coffee increases your metabolism.
How long does caffeine stay in your system?
The answer to this question depends on why you’re asking. Suppose you’re wondering how long it takes for caffeine to leave your system after you’ve stopped drinking coffee or other caffeinated beverages. In that case, the answer is about twelve hours, give or take a few.
This is because caffeine has a half-life of about six hours. The half-life of a substance refers to the time it takes for half of that substance to leave your body. The half-life of caffeine is six hours, meaning that every six hours; half of what’s in your system will have left.
The half-life of caffeine depends on your age and health status. The average half-life of caffeine for healthy adults is approximately 5 hours. If you ingest 150 milligrams of caffeine at 9:00 AM, you will still have 75 milligrams in your system at 1:00 PM (5 hours later).
How much caffeine is too much for the body system?
When it comes to caffeine, the answer is “it depends.” The amount of caffeine you consume daily can vary widely, depending on your lifestyle and how much you drink. For example, if you’re a coffee drinker with two cups per day, that’s about 200 milligrams (mg) of caffeine.
But if you’re a coffee drinker who has two cups per day and drinks soda containing caffeine, then your total consumption could be as high as 400 mg per day. While 400 mg may seem like a lot of caffeine, it’s right in line with what the American Academy of Pediatrics says is safe for children ages 12 and up 400 mg per day.
Several factors influence how much caffeine is too much for your body system—and they all depend on your situation.
Side effects of Caffeine
Caffeine is a chemical stimulant and a mild diuretic. It can also cause insomnia and anxiety.
Some of the Side effects of Caffeine include:
Irritability
Headache
Nervousness
Upset stomach
Conclusion…
A lot of people turn to caffeine in their weight loss routine. And while it may be risky to do so, an even more significant concern is the health effects of long-term caffeine use. This has been a hotly debated issue for apparent reasons throughout the years.
Many studies have been done on rats, and as we all know, rats aren’t the same as humans when it comes to health and disease.
You probably don’t know how caffeine can affect your genes and epigenome. Genetic testing can give you the most effective way to consume caffeine, whether you are a slow metabolizer or a fast metabolizer of caffeine.
random character stuff: light or dark soda (if they drink it all)? hockey skates or figure skates (or no i will never step foot on the ice/rollar rink)? opening all presents (or maybe just one) on xmas eve (if they celebrate) or everything in the morning? how late will they drink coffee or caffeine into the day? tiny things i always thought told me more about a person when i learned more about them or got closer.
June, Saint, and Darcy all drink dark soda. Rhett really only drinks light. Lars doesn’t drink soda. Raina (because I feel like polling her on this one) also drinks light, but mainly jut drinks juice and water.
June and Darcy are the only ones who are ever getting into a rink at all. They’d probably both be hockey skates.
June as a bossy child decided Christmas is the only day for gifts, so stopped the family traditiion of the Christmas Eve gift. Rhett does multiple Christmases so they’re each one day. Saint’s family did it all on Christmas Eve.
June doesn’t drink coffee beyond lunch time, but she will drink energy drinks all through the night when she’s working on a script. Rhett only drinks coffee in the morning, he’s not a big fan of it anyway, he’s just a coffee addict from college. Darcy only drinks black tea. Saint drinks coffee all day, but they’ll usually switch to decaf if its after like 6. Lars will drink nothing but coffee all day if no one steps in.
