Introduction and Learning Objectives - My topic and learning objectives are stated simply. I want to introduce myself to the people and inform them what this page entails and how I want to use it as a platform to teach basic cleaning steps. I mention I wish to teach the learner what basic supplies and cleaning products they may wish to use on their home.

Licensing - I used Audacity to create my MP3. My voice is in the mainground and the music from Neptune (Royalty free) is in the background.

Techniques - I Recorded my voice. I placed the background music behind it, then used the effect to fade in at the beginning and fade out at the end.

Reflection - I think I really enjoy creating audio and using Audacity wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. I'm going to keep this software and enjoy tinkering around with it even after this class! Maybe I'll learn how to use it professionally one day!

It wasn’t that Asa didn’t like kids- in fact, he illustrated almost exclusively for children. He just wasn’t around them often. Which seemed kind of silly, when he thought about it. The fact that a full-time children’s illustrator wasn’t normally around kids... yeah, didn’t make much sense. But he did try to get himself out of his box, and the harvest festival had been a perfect time to offer himself up to the face-painting table. All money went to charity and he could interact with kids, while doing something artistic. It seemed like a win-win.

But kids were... demanding, and some were a bit spoiled, and others incredibly hard to read or understand. Asa had finished up one of the days of painting and was given free reign to walk around all the food trucks and kiosks, and thank god, because his capacity for socialization was at an all-time low and he needed something to eat. So he’d gotten himself a hot apple cider and a taco with everything on it, figuring he’d hop on the sweets later (fried dough, funnel cake, caramel apples... all calling his name). He was walking while juggling his items between his hands, trying to figure out if he could balance the closed hot cup in one of his cardigan pockets, when he spotted someone who looked familiar.

His stomach did something, and he couldn’t tell whether it flipped or dropped to his feet. But his heart started racing and he looked quickly for anywhere he could dive behind, maybe a crowd of people he could walk in back of. Anything. He already had streaks of cheap paint on his tattooed hands, a smudge or two on his cheek, and he looked a mess from sitting under a tent all day. And on top of that... Sunil was the last person he wanted to see right now. Not because of anything other than his own absolute inadequacy. They were attractive, and kind, and it had been such a lovely date, but Asa had royally fucked it up. And he’d assumed after 6 months that maybe he’d never see him again- both to his benefit and his detriment. 

Asa’s mind was racing with potential thoughts and things to say and how to get away and just like that, the soft-bread taco with all the fixings went slipping out of his hands and splatted on the grass. Right as he unintentionally caught Sunil’s gaze. He made the most pathetic sound- somewhere between a hopeless laugh and a sigh, brushing his messy dark hair out of his face. Maybe Sunil would ignore him. Ignore that they’d even seen each other. That would make sense, since Asa had absolutely ruined their night 6 months ago, right? He realized he was still standing there staring at Sunil and there was his splattered dinner on the ground. Finally he shook himself out of it, crouching to try and clean up. “...I need a cigarette.” He mumbled as he tried to push it all back into the little paper tray it had come in.

You've been very quiet lately. Is everything alright? Or is it just Tumblr you're not so active at? (Where else do you hang out online?)

The main reason would be because I’ve started working since March and it’s 8 to 5 full time job. I simply am too tired lmao 

the other reason would be um, ever since that tumblr ‘purge’, there’s not as many friendly vld blog left and I don’t get as much notes, so it’s not as fun to post here anymore? 

I normally hang out on twitter if you want to reach me! I’m also not as active as I did, but it’s still my mainground. I also post lil doodles on twitter that I don’t post here. 

But thanks for asking! You are very sweet. I’m fine.  Actually, I’m better mentally and physically ever since I got this job.
