Due to the Covid pandemic and shutdown order that occurred last year, I utilized some of my extra free time by pursuing a new hobby that I never knew I would fall in love with, and be so passionate about. This hobby is sending and receiving postcards, pen-paling, and swapping! Does anyone dread going to their mailbox knowing that it’s full of junk mail and bills? Nothing more depressing then that !!!!!! I have been so grateful to meet amazing people all around the world wether it be from post-crossing or pen-paling. I love learning about other countries and their cultures, traditions, language, etc. Everyone is different, and unique and I love that ! Also, everyone is on a different path or journey in life, has experienced different things, or has different stories. I believe you can learn something from everyone and that I believe is a gift. If anyone has ever thought about doing this I recommend it and sending a simple postcard could be the difference in brightening someone’s day, and putting a smile on their face😀!

Some beautiful postcards I received! I love going to the mail box to find a beautiful postcard with a little strip of Washi or a sticker, and most importantly the handwritten message and postal stamps.

I’m really loving this season, and look forward to October every year. I recently bought some whimsical postcards for fall, and some Halloween postcards! I’m super excited to send some out for this spooky season. If anyone reads this that loves postcards, or is active in post crossing etc I would love to hear where you buy your postcards from😀 Anyone know of any cute online stationary shops or Etsy shops that sell cute postcards for this season?
