[ad_1] GG News Bureau Mumbai, 5th Dec. Eknath Shinde was sworn in as Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister on Thursday evening, officially ending nearly two weeks of political suspense and speculation. The Shiv Sena leader, who had previously been in a tug-of-war with the BJP over the Chief Minister’s position, accepted the role of Devendra Fadnavis’ deputy after conceding to the BJP’s claim to the top job. In an event filled with political drama, Shinde was administered the oath shortly after Fadnavis, but added a twist to the ceremony. He veered off-script, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray. Shinde’s unexpected speech lasted 40 seconds before he was gently corrected by Governor CP Radhakrishnan, who was standing by to read the oath. “I will serve Maharashtra to the best of my ability,” Shinde stated, emphasizing his commitment to the state and his respect for the party’s legacy. His speech also included a tribute to his political mentor, the late Anand Dighe. Despite the uncertainty leading up to the ceremony, sources close to Shinde suggested that his delay was an attempt to secure significant cabinet roles in the new government. The negotiations that solidified Fadnavis as Chief Minister reportedly left the Shinde faction with promises of key portfolios, including the coveted Home Ministry, which is currently held by Fadnavis. The Shinde Sena is also expected to take control of at least three other prominent portfolios, including Water Resources and the Public Works Department. Following the oath-taking ceremony, Shinde’s office announced plans to visit the memorials of Balasaheb Thackeray in Mumbai and Anand Dighe in Thane, further cementing his allegiance to the legacy of his party and mentors. Shinde’s acceptance of the Deputy CM position marks the culmination of a political saga, where the Shiv Sena’s internal divisions, as well as its realignment with the BJP, reshaped Maharashtra’s political landscape. Maharashtra CM Oath Ceremony Updates: Fadnavis to Take Oath as CM, Shinde’s Role Still Unclear
The political bigwigs in Maharashtra are gearing up for a new drama as the state waits for the much-awaited ceremony of Chief Minister (CM). The information received today shows that Devendra Fadnavis will soon be the CM of Maharashtra. Still, it has left a mystery whether Eknath Shinde will participate in the new government or not.
Political drama prior to the oath taking ceremony
The political map of Maharashtra too has seen much movement and strategies coming to change and replace the other one day. The major political realignment had occurred in Maharashtra because the BJP and the Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena formed the government. This occurred after Uddhav Thackeray had offered his resignation from the CM’s chair, due to a coup within the fold of the Shiv Sena by Shinde.
Chief ministerial candidate comes as more of a surprise: While Maharashtra has several experienced BJP leaders, Devendra Fadnavis, the two term former CM and currently an MLA from Nagpur has emerged clearly as the BJP’s choice for the post. But personal equations between Fadnavis and Shinde are still uncertain and full of suspense. It is expected that very soon Fadnavis will be sworn in as Chief Minister but there is a lot of speculation as to what role Shinde will play in the new government.
Devendra Fadnavis: A Trusted Leader
Devendra Fadnavis, credited with good administrative and political abilities to handle Bombay’s top post, has been one of the leading lights of Maharashtra politics. As CM from 2014 to 2019, he launched schemes based on developing infrastructure, increasing urbanization, and industrialization. He was stable and forward moving especially during the BJP’s alliance with the Shiv Sena.
The BJP’s move to dub Fadnavis as the chief ministerial candidate might have put the party’s faith in him to govern Maharashtra during this politically volatile period. Such a person should have lots of experience and be popular among people; thus, it is J shaping the state for development and stability.
The Shinde Factor: A Waiting Game
The current political situation has been primarily spearheaded by Eknath Shinde, the Shiv Sena faction that is out of the Uddhav Thackeray lead faction. His rebellion along with the support of, about, two-thirds of the MLAs from Shiv Sena led to the disintegration of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.
The fact also remains uncertain as to what formal position Shinde will occupy in the government of the day. While some people have suggested that he is likely to be given a large role these incidents have also mentioned the possibility of BJP sharing power with the Shinde faction. This has made political analysts and the citizens to be waiting at the tick for an official announcement to be made.
New Government: Issues for New Government
The incoming government will face several challenges, including:
Balancing Alliances: Balancing the alliance between two parties of BJP and Shinde faction will need proper calculation.
Economic Revival: From here it is visible that Maharashtra being a leading industrial and employment State requires concentrated efforts for revival from the set back that it has received due to the ongoing pandemic.
Infrastructure Projects: Such projects as metro, and highways, etc., those that have remained behind their completion schedule have to be expedited.
Farmer Welfare: Meeting concerns for agrarian crisis and farmer welfare will be significant in maintaining stability in the associated countryside.
Citizens’ Expectations
As Maharashtra prepares for this political change, the people equally expect the new dispensation to deliver on its campaigns. They are seeking sustainable management and overdoses, economy, and addresses these problems within employment, learning, and health.
What Lies Ahead
The Maharashtra CM oath ceremony will mark the beginning of a new political chapter in the state. While Devendra Fadnavis is expected to bring his leadership experience to the forefront, the role of Eknath Shinde and his faction will determine the government’s overall stability and functioning.
With suspense surrounding Shinde's position, political enthusiasts and citizens are closely following the developments. The coming days will reveal how the BJP and the Shinde faction align their goals to create a cohesive government.
FAQs:
Q1. Who is confirmed to be Maharashtra’s new Chief Minister? Devendra Fadnavis is set to take the oath as the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Q2. What is the role of Eknath Shinde in the new government? It is still uncertain whether Eknath Shinde will be included in the government, and if so, what position he will hold.
Q3. Why is there so much uncertainty surrounding the new government? The uncertainty arises from the political realignment between BJP and the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena, leading to speculation about how power will be shared.
Q4. What challenges will the new government face? The new government will need to balance alliances, revive the economy, expedite delayed infrastructure projects, and address farmer welfare concerns.

Maharashtra’s Wait for a Chief Minister: Sanjay Raut Reveals the Delay’s Cause
Sanjay Raut, a leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), has pointed to the “unnatural mandate” received by Mahayuti in the elections as the reason for the delay in appointing Maharashtra’s Chief Minister. Despite eight days passing since the results, the state still awaits its new CM. Raut alleged that internal conflicts within Mahayuti are behind the delay, prompting acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to visit his village instead of attending key meetings on government formation.
Meeting postponed due to Shinde?
The suspense over Maharashtra’s new Chief Minister continues as acting CM Eknath Shinde visited his native village in Satara. An important meeting in Mumbai to decide the government’s formation was postponed. Understanding the Decision Making Process of Eknath Shinde from an Astrological Perspective
A number of political realignments are taking form in Maharashtra as Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is at a critical phase where the planetary transits of Sun and Saturn coincide being in Scorpio and Aquarius respectively. Such transits are highly significant in terms of astrology as they affect leadership, governance and decision making abilities. How will events of this cosmic nature shape this decisive moment? Let’s look into it.
The Cosmic Backdrop: Sun in Scorpio
The Sun in November in water sign Scorpio also known for its development through self-restraint, tenacity and planning. The energy from Scorpio is dark and phase-shifting behind the door so leaders will use guts and be more firm and make a decision which is much more decisive. Nevertheless, such transit may exacerbate emotional volatility and the risk of aggression.
In Eknath Shinde’s scenario as a political leader, this explains this on an expansion: transitional period of concentrating power and redesigning the leadership style. Very crucial decisions taken during these times are poised to be far-reaching especially on aspects relating to governance, alliances and loyalty in his political circles.
Saturn in Aquarius: An Experiment In Structure And Imagination
Saturn in astrology, the planet of discipline and karmic debt, is going through the sign of Aquarius, known for its invention, communal benefits and reformation. This point of view is about responsibility, rebuilding systems and combining old customs and modernity.
As Shinde notes when it comes to the influence of Saturn Never Too Soon, all plans have to be made in order and in accordance with principles. It discourages the making of development plans under duress and promotes a holistic vision. These trying times might be a test on his patience amidst both the internal and external push- factors that are asking him to exercise responsibility and judgment.
Key astrological aspects at work in the present situation
Sun-Saturn Relationship
The opposition between the Sun in Scorpio and Saturn in Aquarius generates a burden of ambition with a sense of responsibility and tension. The Sun generates ambition and the desire to have power, while Saturn demands restraint and responsibility. Such a seesaw may indeed represent the challenges, both self-created and external, that Shinde finds himself grappling with as he strategizes for his future course of action.
Decisional Behavior Shaped By The Influence Of The Moon
With the movement of the Moon in transit, an emotional subtext in the decision process may sometimes prevail. A good Moon tends to assist in emotional turbulence and crystallization of thought while evil fantasy can push individuals to act and react impulsively.
Mars’ Retrograde and Impact on Action:
As with the Sun, if Mars retrograde or Mars adversely aspected the ruler of Scorpio on Birth chart, it may result in action delay or a feeling of confusion. On the other hand, a strong presence of Mars would be helpful in carrying out an action possibly but violent in nature.
The Delayed Government Formation: Astrological Insight
One of the reasons why the suspense related to the government formation for Maharashtra is taking so long is the Saturn retrograde, which in most cases pushes things far back and asks for things to be reconsidered time and time again. Again Scorpio, placement indicates power politics and arbitration as there are so many role players and circles of power to cross before a deal is struck.
Astrologically also, the delay can be a timing, so that for a period of time, past caused issues remain unaddressed and can be cut off, to resolve them after all that has to be resolved is out of the way.

What Lies Ahead for Eknath Shinde?
Transits at present indicate that Shinde’s resolution or decision is going to be monumental not only in shaping the course of his political career but also the future course of governance in Maharashtra. He is pressed with expectations from political friends of his, the general population and have expectations for the states general future.
From an astrology center
Short-Term Challenges: Power struggles within the coalition, public attention and perception, and health issues (as some reports suggest him to be ‘unwell’ which is also not funny).
Long-Term Opportunities: A decisive opportunity to reshape the image of his leadership legacy with the higher order of system principles brought by the confluence of Saturn in Aquarius.

Maharashtra’s Next CM: BJP Set to End Suspense, Rules Out Power-Sharing
The suspense over Maharashtra's next Chief Minister may finally end today as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership gears up to make an official announcement. The party, which emerged as the single largest in the recent assembly elections, is reportedly adamant about reinstating Devendra Fadnavis as Chief Minister. Sources within the BJP have dismissed speculation about a “Bihar formula,” where power-sharing involves rotational chief ministership.
The “Bihar formula” gained attention after similar arrangements were seen in the BJP-JD(U) coalition government in Bihar. However, senior BJP leaders have clarified that Maharashtra’s political dynamics are different and do not warrant such a compromise. “We have a clear mandate, and Devendra Fadnavis’s leadership is non-negotiable,” said a senior BJP official.
BJP Allies and Strategy
While the BJP is steadfast on Fadnavis's candidacy, discussions have been ongoing with potential alliance partners to form a stable government. The party is reportedly reaching out to independents and smaller regional outfits to secure the majority needed to govern.
The delay in announcing the Chief Minister’s name has fueled speculation and political maneuvering among rival parties. The opposition has criticized the BJP for the prolonged stalemate, accusing it of prioritizing internal governance disputes.
Fadnavis's Track Record
Devendra Fadnavis, who served as Maharashtra’s Chief Minister from 2014 to 2019, has been a key figure in state politics. Known for his developmental initiatives and administrative capabilities, Fadnavis enjoys strong support within the BJP and among a significant section of the electorate.
His leadership is credited with steering the BJP to a dominant position in Maharashtra, although the party fell short of an outright majority in the latest elections. Fadnavis’s supporters argue that his return to the CM’s office would ensure continuity and stability.
Opposition's Response
Meanwhile, opposition parties, including the Congress and the Shiv Sena (UBT), have criticized the BJP for its inability to announce a government quickly. NCP leader Sharad Pawar remarked, “The people of Maharashtra deserve clarity and governance, not endless suspense.”
As the day unfolds, all eyes are on the BJP’s decision. Will the party stick to its guns and back Fadnavis, or will political compulsions push them toward a compromise? The outcome will undoubtedly shape Maharashtra’s political landscape for the foreseeable future.

Breaking the scilence: abusing sexual violence in maharashtra
While the country has not yet recovered from the rape and murder cases in Kolkata, two four-year-old girls were raped by a cleaner of the same school in Badlapur. This incident is shocking. After this news hit the social media, the administration woke up with a rude awakening. The parents go to the police station to file a complaint, but the parents had to wait for twelve hours. The government ordered the suspension of the senior police inspector, assistant sub-inspector and head constable of Badlapur police station for delaying action taking cognisance of the complaint.Angry agitators also vandalised the school by breaking the window panes, benches and doors.Protests started on Tuesday morning due to this incident and the delay at the police station. Due to this agitation, the local train services of Mumbai were affected. Protesters also staged demonstrations on the streets of Badlapur and obstructed major roads and highways. It escalated when some protesters started pelting stones at the police and on the premises of the school where the alleged sexual assault took place.
The fact that the victims were so young and vulnerable makes this incident particularly disturbing. The scene of the crime, a school, heightens this intensity, as it is a place where children feel safe and protected. School is the home of learning , where children grow and develope and the future of our country is formed and hence parents send their children to school with the belief that their child will be safe there and will make themselves and the country better by getting good education. If this incident is coming from here, the outcry of parents and public is understandable.Fear and anxiety now grip parents and guardians, intensifying their vigilance and concern for their children's safety. Moreover, this incident has shattered faith in institutions responsible for protecting and educating children, leaving a trail of emotional trauma in its wake.
"A Call to Action: Implementing Solutions to Prevent Child Abuse and Empower Girls and Women
The incident in Badlapur is a stark reminder of the need for collective action to prevent child abuse and protect the rights of girls and women. We must move beyond outrage and protests to implement concrete solutions. Schools, authorities, parents, and communities must work together to create a safe and protective environment for children, especially girls, who are disproportionately affected by abuse. This includes enforcing stricter background checks for school employees, increasing awareness about child abuse and gender-based violence, and providing support services for victims.
We need Systemic solutions such as
1. Stricter laws and punishments for child abuse and sexual assault.
2. National registry of sex offenders to prevent repeat offenders.
3. Standardized safety protocols for schools across the country.
4. Increased funding for child protection services.
These solutions aim to address the immediate needs of the victims and the community, while also working towards long-term prevention and systemic change.
Additionally, we must empower girls and women through education, economic opportunities, and social support to break the cycle of vulnerability. We owe it to the children and to future generations to act now and ensure that such incidents never happen again. Let us join hands to create a society where children, girls, and women can grow up safely, without fear, and with equal opportunities to thrive."
the cases of child abuse and sexual violence in Maharashtra are a stark reminder of the need for collective action. We must work together to create a society where children feel safe and supported. Let us learn from these incidents and strive to build a brighter future for all. Together, we can make a difference.

[ad_1] Harshita Rai GG News Bureau New Delhi, 4th Dec. Devendra Fadnavis is set to begin his third term as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra tomorrow, with the grand oath ceremony scheduled to take place at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan. The announcement comes after a prolonged period of suspense over the top leadership post, following the resounding victory of the BJP-led Mahayuti in the recent state elections. As the BJP’s choice for Chief Minister was finalised today, the party placed Fadnavis’ name before the newly elected legislators, sealing his selection and paving the way for his swearing-in ceremony. The timing of this announcement is particularly significant, as the state’s political dynamics shifted rapidly following the BJP-led alliance’s overwhelming win in the 2024 elections. The Mahayuti coalition secured a commanding 230 out of the 288 Assembly seats, firmly establishing its dominance. Yet, despite the impressive electoral success, the question of leadership had remained unresolved. The Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde, had hoped to retain the Chief Minister’s position, given its significant role in leading the alliance through the elections. However, the BJP’s strategy was clear—it sought to claim the top post this time, with the BJP winning 132 of the 148 seats it contested. In a bid to put an end to the confusion, Fadnavis, accompanied by Shiv Sena’s Shinde and NCP leader Ajit Pawar, staked the claim to form the government before Maharashtra’s Governor, CP Radhakrishnan. In his address to the BJP’s legislature party, Fadnavis expressed gratitude for the support of the party’s 132 MLAs and hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his guidance. He emphasized that the ‘double engine’ government would usher in significant development for Maharashtra, crediting the Mahayuti’s victory to the Prime Minister’s unifying slogan, “ek hain to safe hain.” This conclusion to the 11-day suspense is a crucial moment for Maharashtra’s political future. Following the election results, party leaders had made strong claims about the rightful claim to the Chief Minister’s position, particularly emphasizing Shinde’s leadership role in the alliance’s victory. Despite this, the BJP’s clear electoral mandate and its ability to command a majority, with support from the NCP, shifted the scales in Fadnavis’ favour. For Fadnavis, this marks a major political comeback. His appointment will be seen as a reward for his strategic acumen and years of steady leadership within the BJP. Yet, this moment is also one of political pragmatism. While the Shiv Sena’s contribution to the Mahayuti’s triumph cannot be denied, the BJP’s consolidation of power means that the party now controls the narrative and the direction of Maharashtra’s future. In the coming weeks, all eyes will be on how Fadnavis navigates the delicate balance of managing his coalition partners, particularly the Shiv Sena, whose leaders continue to stress the significance of their contributions. As Maharashtra embarks on a new chapter, the state’s political landscape will no longer be defined by coalition wrangling but by the decisive leadership of Devendra Fadnavis—a leader determined to bring about progress and a fresh sense of direction to the state. ★ Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Tiger 3’s world comes crashing down!
03 June,2021 With no clarity on resumption of shoots, makers of Salman Khan-starrer 'Tiger 3' dismantle the Goregaon set that stood unused over the past 45 days. It hasn’t been an easy ride for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer 'Tiger 3' thus far. After the actioner — mounted on a grand scale by producer Aditya Chopra — rolled in March, the shoot was disrupted a month later when the leading lady tested Covid-19 positive. The second setback came soon after as the Maharashtra government imposed a junta curfew in mid-April. At the time, director Maneesh Sharma was filming crucial portions at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon where an elaborate set of a Dubai market had been erected. Now, one-and-a-half months into the shoot suspension, Chopra has apparently ordered the dismantling of the set.
It is heard that the producer-director duo were considering taking the course of action right after Cyclone Tauktae left the set-up partially damaged. Their resolve was further strengthened when the state government extended the lockdown earlier this week. A source reveals, “There is no clarity on when shoots will resume. Even if the government green-lights them by mid-June, the studio is being cautious about the way forward. Considering Tiger 3 has a massive crew of about 300 people, Aditya wants the team to be vaccinated before they report to work. Maintaining the outdoor structure was turning out to be an expensive affair. They realised it will be easier on the pocket to erect a set whenever they are ready to resume work.” In the third instalment that sees Emraan Hashmi join the cast, Khan’s undercover agent Avinash Singh Rathore will travel to Europe as part of his next mission. The source adds, “With Europe reopening its borders to fully vaccinated travellers, Aditya and Maneesh are studying the countries that can be part of Tiger’s journey. They will zero in on the locations post-August.”
