okay so now im obsessed w mikey and mondo gecko. so i kinda have some questions (>_<) 1. is their relationship platonic or romantic? better yet, what is their relationship anyway

I've been so obsessed with Mikey and Mondo Gecko for too long. I can't get them out of my head honestly. This comic centering around them is so random for all of you guys I bet, but it's really not for me lmao (also don't apologize for yapping bc you already know I'm about to be)

Okay to answer questions!!

1. What is their relationship?

Uhhh... Yes. They have relationship.

I honestly don't know, originally they were just best friends, but then as I was thinking about them I was like "damn they are so cute, are they in love?" But I honestly have no clue if they should or shouldn't.. or how that should happen if it does??

To be determined I guess...

2.) What is the comic about?

Omg, do not get yourself all excited for this comic bc it's about nothing 😭😭 okay what I mean, it's not about anything story wise!! It's just a silly little comic, a one off, bc I wanted practice doing comics and I wanted to draw more Mikey and Mondo. It's not all that good bc again it's mainly for practice, but I hope you can still enjoy it whenever I manage to get it done! (Don't worry, I've still got lots to do so there's plenty of time for me to abandon it 😋)

(honestly even if I am undecided on their relationship completely, you have free will and can draw whatever type of fan art you want... 👀) don't feel like you have to tho! Only if you wanna ofc!))

3. How do they react to each other when the other is feeling down?

Mikey is a hugger! It's his go too for anyone feeling bad. They just need a hug! Specifically for Mondo though..

Mikey will always try to comfort Mondo in anyway possible when he does get upset, which isn't super often (only really when thinking about traumatic experiences), wether it's hugging him, or distracting him or just listening to him talk, he's extremely present in the moment and puts a lot of energy into trying to help however he can.

On the flip side, Mondo isn't great with negative emotion. Especially on Mikey. Mondo isn't used to seeing him so upset, so when it happens he doesn't really know what to do. Most of the time he just sits with him quietly, if Mikey speaks to him about what's going on, he'll listen but he most of the time isn't sure what to say. He'll make stupid jokes to try to make Mikey laugh, which will usually work. If Mikey is feeling really bad, or he's upset about something Mondo might have his own certain feelings about, Mondo will then be the one giving Mikey a hug, trying to comfort him just how Mikey likes to comfort others.

I actually have been drinking water and eating lately, I know, even I'm surprised!! Although I do think I'm coming down with something.. lots of pressure in my head and the start of a sore throat 😭😭 It always happens when we get our first snow.....

I've been drawing on and off but I just don't feel like I have enough actually completed to my liking to come back to posting, and I haven't been able to get myself to draw every day either. My goal rn is to get some of the stuff off my list done before I come back to posting so it shouldn't be too much longer but I feel like I've been saying that forever now (and if I'm actually getting sick that's not gonna help.....😭😭)

Okay, laughs and giggles!

Leo tends to cover his mouth when he laughs, and it's usually more like just a giggle. It's never very loud unless it's something he thinks is really funny. If he thinks it's really funny, he'll probably end up crying from laughing so hard, though that is a rare occurrence. (Most of the time actual jokes and such won't make him laugh too hard, but sometimes a stupid brainrot / meme video will hit him just right and he'll be crying laughing bc he saw a video of a guinea pig being poorly edited to explode)

Raph does the "cool guy chuckle" most of the time. You know what I'm talking about. He kinda sounds like a dick when he does it. Most of the time he's laughing at someone else when he does it too, though that's not his real laugh. It's just a cover up bc he's embarrassed of his real laugh. You'll only hear is real laugh on super rare occasions, maybe if he let his guard down a bit, or if he's tired maybe. His real laugh is loud and the more funny he finds something the higher pitched it is. If you're lucky and find something he thinks is absolutely hilarious you might get him to let out a loud high pitched laugh even if he hates it. The best part? Once it gets started he can't stop it, he'll just be laughing like that until he runs out of air. He's so embarrassed by it.

Donnie doesn't laugh too much, just a quiet little laugh mainly to acknowledge that he thought something was humorous. He'll always smile, but doesn't laugh a lot. Unless, of course, he wants to mess with his brothers. Then he starts saying some random and somewhat concerning "mad scientist" type stuff and he gives his best evil laugh. (If you know Invader Zim, think a mix of Zim and Tak's unhinged laughs) It hurts his throat to force out sometimes, but the result is always worth it with the reaction he gets from his brothers. He loves to mess with them.

Mikey is always laughing! Everything is kinda funny to him, even sometimes serious situations. Only sometimes though. His laugh can be somewhat infectious at times, though when he gets to giggling or laughing really hard, he sounds like a gremlin. Little weird giggles that can be a little creepy if it hits your ear wrong. Mikey knows this and uses it to mess with his brothers sometimes (kinda like Donnie and his evil laugh) though he'll mainly mess with Leo with it.

The answer is Leonardo. He also doesn't like gummy candy, but he LOVES chocolate. Basically any kind of chocolate he loves. Twix bars are one of his faves! He claims right twix is best and will stand by that.

Mikey will eat just about anything, and if it's full of sugar that's even better!! You could give him just about anything and he'd eat it, but he loves Mike & Ikes and jelly beans!!

Yeah!! He definitely would if he had anyone to do that with..

His brothers aren't really into it, except Mikey. Who is really just into it bc colorful bracelet & it was something they could do together. Though Raph and Donnie did keep the ones Leo made for them, they don't wear them and they didn't make any with him.

And Leo doesn't dress up or even make them anymore, though he still has all his beads and things tucked away in his room.

He'd totally be down for getting them back out and trading if he found someone to do it with!! Any excuse to get back into that stuff he'll take!
