Alex and Magnus' relationship is very funny and yet believable. I also loved the character of Sam since she debunked a lot of misinformation about Muslims. All in all, a wonderful series.

I drew Sam yesterday bc the last time I drew her 7 years ago, I had no understanding of how hijabs worked so I thought I would do her justice this time,,,,

Can you imagine how hard it would be to debrief someone on the Percy Jackson fandom right now? Like,

*points to boy with straight black hair and green eyes* this is Percy Jackson. *points to walker scobell* that is also Percy Jackson. He is not Nico di Angelo’s type. Nico is a pivotal character who isn’t in the tv show yet, but his future boyfriend can look a lot like walker scobell Percy in the fanart, so be aware. Yea I know I said Percy’s not his type. By the way *points to book annabeth* that’s annabeth, another main protagonist. *points to Leah* that’s also annabeth. Yeah she can be black or white or blonde or a brunette or half blonde half brunette in fan art too, endless combinations really. But if the fan art doesn’t have Annabeth’s hair in braids, it can be confused with Hazel sometimes. Who’s Hazel? That’s Nico’s sister. No, his other sister. No, his other dead sister. Oh and last thing, sometimes some of the art has a gray streak in Percy and Annabeth’s hair. We like to pretend that actually exists. *points to Charlie Bushnell* that wasian baddie? That’s Luke, he’s the main antagonist. But he’s also blonde in the books. No, he’s not related to Annabeth, in fact they have a slightly creepy romantic attraction that we like to pretend never happened. Oh yeah and that’s Jason. He’s also blonde and has a scar on his face like Luke, so you can get him mixed up too. Oh but Jason could also be black, especially since his biological sister was also cast as tamara smart. Again, it varies. The same goes for Magnus Chase, Annabeth’s cousin, actually, since he was originally your stereotypical straight white guy who turned out to not be straight and now we don’t even know if he’s white. Oh Magnus is part of a separate book series by the way. Yeah there’s about 5 more book series adjacent to the PJO universe that all have varying progressions of TV adaptations in their future, so watch out for those too.
