Situated in Twin Falls is what might at first appear to be some old derelict buildings, but if we delve a little deeper, we see there is alot more than meets the eye. The ranch was erected in 1865, one of the valleys very first buildings, and run by a German man Herman Strickler, who had earlier immigrated there with his wife Lucy Walgamot. The ranch was mainly used by travelers who wanted to access the Oregon Trail. Herman would often open up his own home to aid sick immigrants but sadly many did not make it, because antibiotics were scarce, so he made a small cemetery just behind the property and laid the bodies to their final resting place. Today the site is a popular hotspot for paranormal investigators and ghost hunting teams, all in search of its rich mystery and intrigue. Many visitors claim to have seen multiple clear apparitions around the ranch as if going about their daily routines! Maybe unaware of their own passing maybe? One reporter states that recently the ranch was bombarded with gangs of teenagers holding midnight seances there. There was rumour that Herman Strickler himself was killed with an axe by the hands of Lucy his very own wife! But this was later debunked as reports came in that Herman actually died very peacefully in 1920. Yet many are still convinced that the ranch is heavy with paranormal activity, believed to be spirits from the cemetery, who still linger there. A very eery and fascinating place to visit if ever you are in Twin Falls. *All properties require prior authorization and permission to investigate.  1. Make it easy for them to say yes. e.g. If you want an endorsement or testimonial, write it out for them, then ask if they can ok it. 

 2. Make a list of the smartest people you know and stay in touch with them — These are your most valuable contacts. 

 3. Ego tap — e.g. don’t just say “I want feedback/advice” say “Are there any UX experts who could look over my site, I’m a noob” — Entrepreneurs love being told they’re experts. 

 4. People will say YES way more than you’d believe. But try not to come out of nowhere with an ask if they don’t know who you are . 

 5. Unless you’re insanely great at copy, you’ll need some sort of real-world touchpoint. Meetings don’t scale so public speaking is a good way to hit up a large group of people in real-life. 

 6. Building a community online is the only way of reaching a large, growing, group of people at once. Facebook groups is my favorite. 

 7. It is NOT NATURAL AS A HUMAN to ask for things. So, push past your boundaries constantly. 

 8. Offer rewards in return for asking for things you really need. People rarely claim the rewards. What methods do you have to make people do what you want?
