“L/n-san~!” Dear Yuji lifted the cookie atop him, smothered in whipped cream with a bright smile and a wave reserved for you. “Eat me~! Just kidding~!”

Your pinky finger gently ruffled his salmon haired head. “Your teasing is very much warranted, you precious boi.”

In the parfait cup filled with ice cream, whipped cream and berries, a storm cloud raged atop Megumi's brooding head. “Get me outta here or I will shatter this glass.”

Yuji's face became pale with doom, hissing at you conspiratory. “He ain't kidding.”

You reached down and pulled out said grumpy Megumi who took the shinigami dog shaped candy, bashfully thanked you, and shyly pecked you on the cheek, compelling you to smooch him right on the nose. “Favorite tsundere here.”

You dropped him down on table level for Yuji to smother his boi in a good old bear hug; his infectious smile causing his emo bae to blush and ease into it and smile back.

“Maki-san~! Nibble on me~!” Nobara sung suggested cozied smack dabbed in her macaron.

“You idiot. Why did you have to admit that out loud? Here of all places?” Maki murmured, bashfully blushing, looking away amiss her red bean filled pancake sandwich.

“Maki-san! I love you~!” An unashamed Nobara rushed outta her macaron to tackle Maki into a bean pasted draped hug.

“Here.” You lifted off their pancake cover before handing a decent sized handkerchief to the girls as you passed by, earning winks of thanks from the pair before their stained faces grew messier as they commended a make out session under said hankie.

“Konbu! Tsuna Tsuna! Mentaiko!” The orange topped Toge waves eagerly at you from his perched spot on his own cupcake.

“I see you my boi and I've missed you too.” Your offered finger was taken by the rice ball speaking boi, swinging him to land before Panda lounging in the middle of a smore treat.

“Give me a hand, little buddy, tall buddy.”

“Takana!” Toge's mini hand and your long finger were more than enough to pull the fuzzy cursed doll out, though the chocolate sauce and marshmallows stuck to his fur.

You magically pulled out a wet rag to clean him up, humming at the now pristine baby. “My gift to you, my precious Panda.”

“L/n-san! Lift off please and thank you~!”

You picked up Yu's back collar to place him atop his fruit sandwich for him to slide down the creamy path, bumping right into Nanami. “Sandwich slide, hazah~!”

“Why must you condone this nonsense?” Kento commented through a mouthful of his subway sandwich, lightly bopping Haibara on his noggin as an attempted scolding.

“He's your partner. You tell me.” Your sassiness made the stern Nanami purse his lips at you in defiance but had Haibara chortling to his further annoyance, firmly tugging on his cheeks to gargle those noises, only amusing his partner more, finally doing here and now to kiss him just to keep him quiet.

Haibara's face glowed all smitten like. “Aw I love you too – !”

“Hush you and eat.” Nanami couldn't suppress a grin as he ate his subway with his favorite boi.

“Job well done, fellow yaoi buddy.” Shoko snorted at what she just saw, lounging in her lemon tea sponge cake, raising her small palm for you to give a carefully slow high five indeed.

“Keep your hands to yourself, assassin.” Riko narrowed dagger eyes at the scarred man across the room, cherry atop her head as she floated in a literal ice cream soda float.

“Riko-sama, be cautious, now.” Misato cautioned her, doing her best to stay blended within her fruity spread.

“I think he's retired from that lifestyle now.” You assured the pair, settling their nerves down when you handed them a plush doll with two eyes, eight legs and horns for them to cuddle and ride on.

“Suguru~ They're so pretty~!” Satoru plopped red bean paste sweetness into his mouth as he watched you move to and fro throughout the cafe.

Suguru munched on the cherry that sat atop with him on the cupcake. “Despite the major height difference, I will admit they look docile.”

“In that case – !” Gojo got down on one knee. “Marry us please~!”

Geto nearly choked. “Toru, we're still dating!”

Gojo got up to kiss him fully on the lips. “Well, we've practically been wedded since day one so …”

Geto's eyes crinkled with tender mirth, humming as he kissed back. “Can't argue with that logic.”

Grabbing his hand, the albino of the two floated them both on up high to reach you. “Plus, a poly ship is very sexy~”

The fact that the iconic strongest pair landed on either shoulder to kiss you simultaneously on your cheeks touched your heart.

“Aw, I – MMPH!”

The super human chibi that is Toji threw his bagel like a Frisbee disk right into your mouth. “Oi. You. This donut ain't cuttin’ it for me. Get me some beer, huh?”

“Dad!” Megumi snapped on your behalf.

“He is a beast.” Yuji anxiously sweated at the alarmingly impressive feat.

“I wanna duel him even more now.” Maki, a fellow non-cursed fighter, got fired up after peaking outside to witness his simple yet stellar stunt.

“Eh!? We already called dibs!” Gojo flared up, steam coming outta his ears.

“Hands off, monkey.” Geto emanated pure unfiltered hatred for the brute killer.

All three men had their eyes cast in shadow as literal sparks of agitation flew between them, ruining the cozy vibe of the cafe.

Able to chew and swallow that bagel up, you could speak again. “Knock yourself out, you beast.” Whisking out a jug of booze outta the blue, you knew the superhuman killer could take it, his smug self already chugging it down with one hand.

“Physically gifted,” Yuji and Maki breathed out in amazement.

“As I was gonna say,” you cupped your hands out for GoGe to sit on, your e/c eyes sparkling down at them, “Of course I'll marry you two. Size and all.”

A giggling Satoru and an amused Suguru are over the moon with your acceptance, bringing them close enough for them to smooch your lips in unison.

However later, you got an earful of “Goddamn” from your chibi sized boss at giving someone alcohol at his fine establishment.

But, you could tolerate it.

All these cuties make it all worth it.

Especially your new beaus.

I think a magical girl AU for KHR (i know ive made one but discard that) could work in hilarious ways with reborn arcobaleno being tsuna's magical guide. And he doesn't want to be a magical girl (or boy but to me magical girl is a genderless job term like doctor and mafia boss) but like, what's he gonna do when a monster attacks the school and kyoko-chan is in danger? Save her of course. He's glad PE got cancelled though.

Then once he gets a taste of being able to save people he starts doing more and more. Then you can have gokudera joining in like kyoko from pmmm, a rival magical girl from another town moving into the territory. Who is his magical companion? No fucking clue. You decide.

Hibari gets tilted that this fucking magical girl is IN HIS TERRITORY and DOING HIS JOB and FIGHTING THINGS WITHOUT HIM that he keeps trying to track MG!Tsuna down. Hijinks happen with Tsuna being able to assume his nondescript normal boy form and narrowly escaping hibari every time.

Yamamoto finds an idol in MG!Tsuna because she's always trying her best all the time! He joins the fan club. Thinfs get very awkward for Tsuna when Yamamoto finds one of the MG weapons in Tsuna's possession but incorrectly assumes its a toy version tsuna made because tsunas a fan too. They attend the fan club together.

Mukuro obviously is either a magical girl gone rogue or working for the nebulous magical girl enemies that gets converted to being somewhat allies against a greater threat. Likely mukuro's crew got targetted by the nebulous enemies, leading to mukuro and tsuna having to work together to rescue them.

Ryohei's just there. I dont really know what to do with him. He should have the funniest fucking crush on MG!Tsuna.

Lastly reborn and the other arcobaleno are revealed to be under a curse, as you do, and that they were the previously chosen magical girl group or something and this is the end result for every magical girl like pmmm or, well, khr

as middle schoolers tsuna and yamamoto LOVED reading shounen manga just like any other kids but as tsuna ends up being dragged deeper into the mafia business he finds the titles less and less appealing as he becomes more jaded and sees the young protagonists as child soldiers instead of heroes

yamamoto still reads them but it's because he thinks it's kinda cute how idealistic these manga can get (it also reminds him of tsuna from back then)

gokudera has always thought comic books of any kind is for babies and then bianchi introduced him to slice of life shoujo romance and he is so glad ebooks are a thing that exist because he got hooked and he also know several people who will tease him mercilessly if they find out

he only reads fluffy no angst slice of life shoujo because his life is already stressful enough as it is. he made a mistake of reading sailor moon and belatedly realized long running magical girl franchise 'matured' alongside its readers and dropped it like a hot potato when it got too sad for him

he also doesn't understand bianchi's taste.

no actually he 100% understands why she likes "overworked office lady brings home a cute younger boy that heals her with his cuteness even though he's useless" or "this older man is transformed into a young boy by magic/science/etc and it's up to the protagonist to help him" and the "the poor protagonist caught her man cheating and found herself comforted by a--" you know the deal by now

he just wishes she stops trying to shove those down his throat

Prompt - Super

Aoi stares at the boy Lambo brought her to. Well... He originally said something to her about "fighting Stupi-dera" for him. She doesn't know where he got the idea she fights for him from, but she'll let it go... The group she was brought to was intimidating if she's honest. The silver haired teen was rude and had the banana-like scent of dynamite to him. The dark haired boy looked nice and did greet her nicely, but she doesn't trust that odd shinai with him. Undeniably these two are involved in organized crime, maybe even mafiosos...

But the brunet boy and the weird baby, she could tell what they were right away. From the baby's large eyes that shine with mischief and mirth to his cute curls; he's clearly a fairy from another world, looking for help saving it, but also causing a little trouble in his wake. And the brunet is clearly clumsy, but with eyes that are kind and determined; he just has to be a super powerful magical boy!

Aoi's face darkens, embarrassed over being in front of someone she idolizes so suddenly. Sure, she doesn't know his magical boy name, but she's sure the morals are still there! Given his orange colors, maybe he's Cure Marmalade or something? She approaches him slowly, quietly grabbing his hoodie and looking up into his eyes. She clutches it tighter and narrows her eyes, building up the courage to speak.

"I know what you are." Nailed it! Even if it's short, it should give her new idol confidence in her and let him know he can trust her with magical secrets! ~ Tsuna sweats nervously as he looks down at Lambo's new friend. He really should be used to getting threatened by children now...

Make A Wish (A KHR Fanfic)

He'd made a wish on a falling star one night. Sawada Tsunayoshi, the loser of the school who didn't have anything going for him, and who felt no one could ever care about, wished on a star for something he never dreamed imaginable. They often warn to always be careful what you wish for because you never know, you just might get it.

"If I wish for anything it's a true friend, someone who understands me, who will accept me and love me just the way I am. Someone who will see past all the no good things in me, someone that I will actually mean something to." Tsuna wished as hard as he could, as deeply as he could draw out his emotions, he wished with all his might and all his heart for only a few simple things, love, acceptance and understanding.

However when you're a teenager those are three of the hardest things to get. But sometimes on rare occasions wishes do come true, on full moon nights on the most magical day of the year when you think your prayers will never be answered, they are and an angel is sent down to you, in the form of a foreign exchange student sent to assassinate to you.

He wasn't what Tsuna expected to be his saving grace, but aside from the gangster attire, the silver hair, the delinquent ways, the bad boy image in general, Gokudera was about to show him sometimes wishes do come true and good things can happen to a typical loser like him.

Yes, Tsuna was and would always be a loser, but that didn't mean he couldn't be loved, that didn't mean his wish couldn't come true. Sometimes it was the person you least expected to be your saving grace that was. Tsuna's knight in shining armor was right there before him this whole time in the form of a delinquent foreign exchange student sent from Italy.

To those who saw them together it wouldn't seem like Gokudera and Tsuna were each other's dream boyfriend, but they were. One rough around the edges and the other so soft that it didn't seem like he even had edges until you pushed him way too far. An odd couple in every way, it wasn't quite believable that they were indeed each other's saving grace, but that's exactly what both boys were to one another.

It was subtle but it was there. Tsuna had never dreamed he'd find true love in an exchange student from Italy but that was exactly what he found. Gokudera had walked into his life in what felt like his darker hour and lit his world up and showed him what devotion, patience, understanding, romance and true love really were like. "It's funny, I never dreamed I'd ever be this lucky in all my life, Gokudera-kun." Tsuna mentioned as they lay on their backs, watching the stars together and just talking for the evening.

"Huh? What do you mean?" He looked at Tsuna as if he'd just grown a second head and any minute now he'd be woken by his alarm for work and told this was indeed just a dream and his wish hadn't come true.

"I have you as a boyfriend." Tsuna blushed and turned away quickly. He realized the weight of what he'd just said and that their relationship had actually been a deeper, stronger devotion than the two boys were able to admit before. The loser of the school had stolen the heart of the popular bad boy and didn't even realize it at first.

Having gotten the guy he'd actually always dreamed of, there wasn't much that Tsuna would have wished for. His wishes he knew were unrealistic deep down because there was no way he would always be able to save his friends no matter how protective he was or how strong he got, pain and fighting were inevitable and you can't protect someone twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, it's an unachievable dream because it's just a fact, bad things happen and sometimes sadly good people are the victims hurt by it.

He could have wished for fame and wealth, some things many people only dream of in their lifetime, but again for someone like Tsuna those kinds of wishes didn't seem within his grasp, they didn't seem realistic enough to even hope for right now.

But Tsuna also had everything he ever wanted, Gokudera loved him for who he was and stood by his side even when the rest of the world doubted him, even when they pointed out his flaws and called him a loser right in front of the Storm, he still loved Tsuna just the way he was, for who he was and never tried to change him and that was enough for Tsuna to know he was loved and accepted as he was, finally for the first time in his life. Tsuna had wished for just one friend who understood him and he'd gotten that and so much more in Gokudera.

Gently a strong arm pulled Tsuna in close and kissed him deeply. The moment felt right, even if many would frown upon two boys showing each other affection, Tsuna and Gokudera didn't really care, they were content in the moment as Tsuna put his head on Gokudera's chest and pointed to the sky. "A falling star! Make a wish!" He exclaimed excitedly, snuggling into the arms of his boyfriend.

Gokudera however shook his head. There had never really been much in his life that he wished for, always understanding that harsh or not, this was the life he had to live, he had to keep going no matter how bad it got or how little he really had left. Gently he kissed Tsuna again, and held him tighter, it just felt like the right thing to do. But when those brown eyes looked so curiously at him, he knew whatever the question was that was coming, he wouldn't be able to lie to him about it.

"What did you wish for, Gokudera-kun?" Tsuna asked, curious what Gokudera wanted deep down and found himself a little shocked and red in the face when the answer came so simply and plainly.

"Nothin'. 'Cause I already have everything I wanted in you."

I had the thought and I'm inflicting it upon the masses. Clouds have a high likelihood of getting cancer because of their tendency of cell propagation to increase strength, mass, hardiness etc. But this is magical life flame land, so maybe suns and mists can fix that with no issue, but what if they Can't

Follow-up. If it's something easily fixable, Tsuna gets so panicked the first time he learns Hibari is getting treated for cancer but it's like, boi has been getting fixed up for Years at this point

Alternatively, Tsuna is devastated to learn that his cloud has cancer and he's Partially To Blame (not really) because use of cloud flames makes it much worse and Vongola get into a lot of fights

I usually do not talk about my khr selfinsert/oc but honestly i AM very interested about your thoughts if i just let you lose, so.

"Rena Paolina" (birthname: Alyona Ivanovna Tsareyev), about the age of Tsuna and his guardians is a young woman with a hand for childcare and a trained theater teacher. She was partially scouted by the Vongola to be part of a mafia centric daycare, for the offspring of the Vongola families memebers (There is also another reason why they keep a close eye on her). She has a knack foe identifying what kids need and how to get them to behave, which was especially helpful with the still young Lambo. She is not a fighter (or so she claims) and she completely focuses on her work at the daycare and her small theater group.

Her origin are only known to CEDEF, Reborn and Dino as Dino was the first person she met when she came to italy. She gets along well with Tsunayoshi and his guardians tho she only really seems to bicker and butt heads with Gokudera. With everyone else she seems to find ways to be on good terms with them.

She is a very righteous person and can be hotheaded when it concerns topics that hit close to home. Then she usually becomes short sighted and so heated she ends up running herself into a corner. Even tho she repeatedly says that children scare her and that she isnt very good at caring for them there have not been many kids who ever disliked her. She openly speaks her mind and opinion even to people that have a standing above her, tho she does adjust her way of speaking to not be too disrespectful. She has a passion for theater and really blooms in theater related projects, happily teaching others about it and helping them discover themselves through the magic of theater. However she does shy away from ever getting too much into public spaces for some reason.

This reason being that she is terrified of someone possibly figuring out where she comes from.

"Rena" is actually the only child of the Leonov families boss Ivan Anatolyevich Tsareyev, a mafia family that is notorious for their incredibly conservative ways. Originally her family was banished, as her father was usurped by his own right hand man and had to flee the country. However as Rena became a teenager her father traveled alone back to his home and through gruesome circumstances he managed to take back leadership, making sure to rule through fear. He wanted ro take his wife and daughter back home, however Rena was very against this new life and she ran away from home finding her way to italy where she begged to be taken in. Reborn decided that considering her age and inexperience with anything related ro the underworld she could be allowed to work for the vongoa tho under strict supervision. Should her family ever become an issue in politics she would make a fine hostage.

But even in her youth as her family was banished she had a boy by her side, about the same age as her by the name of Dimitri. While everyone went against her father, only his bodyguard stood with him and followed her family. It was his son that was early on tasked with protecting Rena even as a civilian and when she decided to run away he saw it as his duty to protect her by allowing her to escape. With the years passing she managed to truly prove herself in her craft and became a valued and beloved caretaker even if there are always the entitled parents that try to make her life a living hell.

@eternitas I dug this up in the queue before work today, just as I know you've been waiting for it ans it keeps getting sent down in wach new reshuffle! First off, let me just say that I am deeply honored that you feel comfortable sharing your self-insert/OC with me. I know that takes a lot of bravery to do, as these sorts of characters become very meaningful and dear to our hearts. I’m not entirely sure what to really give you back though! Because this reply is published publicly on the blog, I am going to ask if you’re okay with other readers commenting on the beautiful Rena and, if you are, I ask my gorgeous constant readers – do any of you lovelies want to comment or ask questions about the character, other than the ones I will be asking? (Though a reminder that all comments and questions must be respectful, anything that I feel is mean-spirited will not be shared and might earn you a block from the blog because again – sharing these types of characters takes a lot of courage). What I ended up giving you was just my thoughts, sometimes an occasional comment that I had while reading through the description of Rena, but mostly questions on her though because I am always very curious about characters! Oh, so many questions! I hope the questions will make sense and that none of it will come off as rude or nosey!! Even the critiques are more meant as…okay, that’s an interesting writing choice. This is how I always thought about the character/process, so I’m just really interested in why you think this thing instead – because, as a reminder, mine is not the only right way to see things and by asking questions and hearing other people’s views, I get to learn new things and see characters and situations in lights that I might never have considered! How is Rena pronounced? Like Ray-nah or like Ree-na?

Where Rena has a birthname and a new chosen name, how did she settle on the name Rena Paolina? What drew her to that first and last name? Is there any significance behind it?

Where she does have the birthname and then her new identity, did she legally change her name? Most Mafia families would work with forged documents and would be able to spot fake documents, even well-made ones if the family is experienced enough, so I feel she’d be living dangerously relying on just forged documents. Did she go through something like what Reborn went through after becoming cursed, where he went to some sort of specialist, referred to him through Shamal (or maybe even Shamal himself, who knows) and got her old identity completely erased and a new one constructed for her by the best of the best to avoid any danger?

If Rena is around Tsuna’s age, did she temporarily go on the leave from the Vongola after high school to get her theatre degree? If so, who took over childcare while she was gone? Was her absence really noticed? How much contact did she keep in with her friends, if the theatre school she went to wasn’t in Japan? Did they come to visit her often and if so, who showed the most interest in what she was learning about? (Do you see any of the Guardians or Tsuna’s other family members as being really interested in the theatre and acting?)

Why was she scouted for the Vongola? I can see them keeping an eye on her for potential threats and having the attitude of keeping your enemies closer, but why in particular was she scouted for the position she was scouted for? Why would they entrust her with the next generation of the Vongola if there was that fear about her family? Had she proven herself to them in some way? Was she supervised while in the daycare for the first several years until she had shown her loyalty? Or was it that Tsuna and Timoteo's hyper intuition saw through all and knew Rena had a heart of gold and would never hurt any of them or the Vongola itself?

Lambo would obviously give Rena a run for her money and probably tire her out but what about the other children? How does she get along with I-Pin, who is just as energetic but less rambunctious and trouble-making? What about slightly older children like Fuuta? Especially Fuuta, actually, whose ranking abilities could prove dangerous if they were to reveal something she didn’t want to come out, like who she was in the past?

I actually really, really enjoy the fact that Rena isn’t much of a physical fighter and does such a niche job. It makes her much more relatable, in my opinion, without the worry of her being overpowered or anything along those lines. I also love that she has clear passions and interests of her own, things that she enjoys doing that are completely separate from Mafia life because it makes her feel more realistic as a person and more fleshed out and dimensional as a character.

This is the only critique I have and it’s more a question. If she is indeed part of the Vongola, why are her origins only known to Reborn, Dino, and CEDEF. Reborn and CEDEF have no say as to who becomes Vongola, though Reborn recruits for Tsuna’s family specifically and even then, they kind of need to be invited in by Tsuna or at least accepted by Tsuna as part of his family. So, am I confused, and she’s scouted as part of specifically Tsuna’s generation? Because otherwise Timoteo and his Guardians would know about her, and I could honestly see Timoteo being the most sympathetic to her plight and the one most likely to take her in, while I could see Iemitsu and CEDEF and especially Reborn being the more extremely wary of Rena, because they would view her more of a threat, where Timoteo, especially with the help of Vongola’s Hyper-Intuition, would view Rena more as a child in a bad spot who needs a safe place to be and as a human being who means them no harm, something his Hyper-Intuition tells him in his heart and I could actually see him doing everything in his power to bring her into the fold and provide a stable 'father-like' figure to her.

Or am I confused and this takes place when Tsuna is an adult, though that would make no sense as Lambo would be much too old to need childcare at that point, though some of the family members would have children of their own that might need childcare during that time?

How did she meet Dino, where he’s the first person she met upon arriving in Italy? Why did she choose Italy to flee to? Was it a conscious choice or was it more that that was the first flight she could grab?

What are the topics that hit close to home for her? What are the causes and topics she’s passionate about and that get her heated?

If Rena is someone unafraid to speak her mind to anyone and everyone, how is it that she hasn’t gotten herself ‘bitten to death’ by people like Hibari? Or Xanxus, Bel, and Squalo, should she have ever met them? Are there times when she knows how to keep her opinions to herself, because doing otherwise would lead to danger or possible fights, or is she the impulsive type whose mouth sometimes gets the better of her (which I would sympathize with her on if that's the case because sometimes my mouth gets ahead of my head)?

If Rena doesn’t want to perform in public spaces due to a fear of being found out, does that mean the theatre group only performs for the Vongola? Just wondering as I’m just a little confused as to that, because here at least, even the backstage crew gets pulled onto the stage at the end of the show to get their round of applause. Is it different in other countries and I'm just being ignorant? I can't remember if I asked above, but what role does she play in the theatre troop? Does she direct, act, write original plays, anything? I am so, so, so intensely curious and intrigued by this aspect of her and it's one of my favourite things about her, no lie!!

Is her family Russian Mafia? And what do you mean by conservative ways, precisely? Are we talking stereotypical brutal Russian mob, who terrorizes, extorts, blackmails, and murders those inside their own territory? If so, how was the family not taken apart by the townspeople they subjugated during the internal chaos of the coup d’etat where his right hand man took the Boss’ seat? How did his right-hand man take over a family like that while still leaving the former Boss alive, especially as it would be a huge threat to the right-hand man since the former boss could gather anyone even the least bit loyal to him back to his side and could come gunning for the person who took over his role by force. A point blank killing of Ivan would make more sense to me, so I’m just trying to dig into the world here and figure out if there were reasons he was left behind and how all this turmoil in her family happened.

Where did her family resettle, if they were forced out of the country? Did she like that country? Would she return there? Would she ever return to Russia, if the danger of being found out for who she was was taken away? Like, was her childhood there one that she would have loved if born from a different family?

Since she ran way, does she ever contact her parents from a secure line to let them know she is safe? It seems unreasonably cruel, since there’s no hints that her father or mother were abusive to her, for her to leave them there for years upon years wondering if she was safe, if their child had been killed, and all that. Is there more to this family’s story than what’s being told at first glance? Again, this is such an intriguing, interesting backstory that I want to deep dive into it and learn every little bit of information I can about it, like I would want to deep dive into any characters from published anime/manga!

Why did Dmitri not go with her when she ran away, if his purpose and life’s work was really to be her bodyguard? Why did he not follow her after ensuring she got safely out, meeting her at somewhere they would have agreed upon? There’s no way she could have guaranteed safety as a runaway living on the streets, hoping someone would take her in, so I would think he’d be even more insistent on being able to stay with her and protect her. Was it under her orders, to keep him potentially safe, since I know for sure she does genuinely have a good heart and would deeply care about someone who'd been so close to her?

How does she fake having a Storm Flame to seal these official documents? I don’t think Flame types are officially listed on most paperwork, since the only valid way to prove it for it to be recorded would be to light the flame on a Ring? I have nothing against her being a Sky flame, just wondering how she fakes the Storm Flame or if she just has a weak secondary Storm Flame, which would also make complete sense with her personality!

If Dmitri knows where she is and watches her from afar, why has he just not approached her? If it’s because he could be caught doing so, he’d be caught doing observation and surveillance on her, wouldn’t he? Is he nervous she'd be upset or is he worried he might not fit into her new life??

Now just some random questions because I genuinely do think Rena is adorable, I like the bit of shipping headcanons you’ve shared with her and Gokudera, and I’m interested in learning more about just who she is as a person!!

What are some of Rena’s other hobbies other than theatre? Is there any particular genres she’s really pulled towards for all the media and stage shows she prefers?

What’s one stage production that she has always wanted to be a part of but hasn’t gotten to be a part of yet?

Is she right or left handed? Is she at all superstitious and does she believe in things like astrology, crystals, and psychics?

Would she go ghost-hunting/Bigfoot-spotting, etc. with Gokudera? Does she genuinely believe in all that stuff or is she doing it to humour him and because she knows how much he loves that kind of stuff?

What’s her style? How does she dress? How much care does she take with her appearance? Is she a no makeup kind of person or someone who likes to play around with their makeup?

Who’s her favourite kid out of the main kid trio of Lambo, I-Pin, and Fuuta? What about the Arcobaleno, where they look like babies? Who would she think is the cutest baby?

Does she attend Yamamoto’s baseball games and if so, is she one of the super-loud spectators, cheering him on so everyone can hear or is she more quietly supportive?

Does she have a parent she preferred growing up? (Was she a Daddy’s girl or a Mommy’s girl?) If she didn’t really ever get along with her parents, was there another relative that she really loved and that was her safe space, like an aunt or cousin?

What does Rena look like! I don’t remember it in the description or anything, so I’d love to hear about that aspect of her too!

Does she ever have any relationships prior to getting together with Gokudera or is he her first and only relationship throughout her life? How do they end up getting together? Does someone officially confess or does it just kind of happen naturally?

What is her daily life with Gokudera like? Do they move in together and if so, how soon? What’s her favourite thing about him and what drew her to him and vice versa?

When’s their anniversary? How do they typically celebrate?

How do her and Gokudera resolve fights and arguments they have?

Why will my brain not stop with the ideas?!  Why?!

*Sigh*  Ok, so I need to get this down on something so I can go back to ignoring it because I have one too many irons in the fire already.  I do not need another.  So here, have an idea that is free to anyone.  I’m not going to be writing more of it most likely.

The MC in this idea is Tsuna’s daughter, his 3rd or 4th child.  She knows she likely not going to inherit, not with her siblings in front of her and her father being very, very protective of them all.  That’s fine with her.  More time to explore her own interests. 

Now, this MC, who I’m going to call Miku, gets yeeted into Twisted Wonderland as per canon.  But, the Dark Mirror doesn’t say she’s magic-less.

Miku:  I’m Miku.

Dark Mirror: The nature of your soul is....unclear to me.

Crowley:  What did you say?

DM: The magical power in this one...it both is and is not of color or shape that matches any of the dorms for it fits all in some ways.  Therefor, no dorm would be appropriate.

There is an uproar over this announcement.  Someone who cold fit ALL the dorms?

To explain, because a Sky (that is the Flame Type I’m giving Miku) is harmony, her soul would automatically fall into harmony with those around her.  Thus the mirror cannot pick one dorm to suit as they would technically suit all of them.  This means Miku still gets shunted to Ramshackle but Crowley, and the campus as a whole, is a lot more interested in just what this young woman (and wasn’t  that a kicker.  The first female student in over a century) can do.

And then the reveal that she uses Soul Fire (TWST term for Dying Will Flames).  And they are at a usable level for combat!  Most other Soul Fire mages can barely make their Soul Flame visible, let alone fight with them.  Just...what is this woman?

Further, I can see Miku developing a trick for Dying Will Mode that gives her fiery wings to fly on.  She looks like a firebird!  (Just to tie Ramshackle further into Fantasia as its inspiration)

Just think of the shenengans that can come up.  Like her critique of how the Monstro Lounge in run and how the tweels are not subtle at all.  Jamil reacting to her because she gives off assassin vibes from having been around the Varia when she was younger. Idia being fascinated with how Blot reacts to Soul Fire (I headcanon Soul Fire destroys it fast because Flames are about surviving but it could go the other way).  Ace and Deuce and Jack...actually, ALL the freshman squad, even Sebek(boy is a Lightning, obviously), bonding to her as Elements and the angst that gives Sebek.  Malleus being fascinated with her “firebird” wings and abilities Lilia has only heard of in stories. 

Someone, please take this child.  Please.

Send 'small things' for three memories my character has with yours that they hold dear, of moments that seemed insignificant at first, but became magical later. (from Dera, your choice of verse)

There were a lot of memories that Haru had with Gokudera over the many years that they've known each other, but there were some memories that felt different when looking back on them now.

Haru and her mother always took turns making bento for the day, and during the time she had fallen in love with Tsuna, she'd always put forth the extra effort to make a love-packed lunch for him. It was part of her love language, to enjoy feeding people.

Somewhat like a grouchy cat on the streets that hardly accepted foods from strangers until it grew to trust you, she would make more food for the others and he'd sit down and eat with everyone. The only times he didn't is if Bianchi was involved. Maybe it's a bit silly to say, but it always brings her a smile if she cooks some curry and Gokudera comments that it tastes good.

She still wonders to this day if he was being a tsundere or otherwise when making the comment that anyone could make curry. (Don't worry, he did get seconds if he asked for it. Haru wasn't that petty) Maybe he doesn't remember the comment, but she recalls it with fondness, because it's interesting how differently he responds to her cooking now. What is it, a gap moe, sort of? It's cute!

Gokudera has always been what many would call- UMA Freak. There's no other way of looking at it. He loved the unorthodox and the moment anything UMA related was brought up, he would go raving about all the information he gathered about them.

Whether or not they actually exist is something Haru is skeptical about, but she usually lets him ramble on about it. Lambo usually was the one who would come up to Gokudera to ask about a random UMA. The child occasionally would search up information and try to stump Gokudera with trivia information-- not that he's ever succeeded yet. The guy really is a UMA-maniac.

There was a time when they were in the future timeline where 'Nessie' was found and the news was televised. She'd never seen Gokudera so excited about anything that wasn't Tsuna related. He didn't stop talking about it for a bit. It was fascinating to watch him so enthusiastic about something.

Japan has a large population of monster enthusiasts, so there is a bit of overlap between him and them. So when Nessie was found, there was a lot of Nessie trinkets to be found in stores. When shopping for some supplies with Kyoko, she happened to find a small keychain of Nessie and bought it because she thought of him.

She walked up to his room and knocked on the door to hand him the keychain. She can't remember exactly what she said, but it may have been something along the lines of 'So what's the deal with this Nessie anyways?' and that's how she got dragged into listening to the history of the Loch Ness Monster aka Nessie. Thinking back on it now, it's actually kind of cute to see him get so hyped about UMA. It's like you get to see a bit of the boyish charm that he keeps hidden because of his tough boy attitude.

She wouldn't call them insignificant moments, but they were frequent moments. Gokudera had seen Bianchi's face (again) and then passed out (again). It was the usual protocol of setting him aside somewhere to get rest as he recovers from the trauma response of seeing Bianchi's face. Sometimes they'd lay a blanket over him on the days that were a bit chilly.

It was so common that everyone didn't question it if Gokudera suddenly falls over and passes out. The first thought that would come to the forefront of everyone's mind would be: 'Bianchi is here without a mask on.'

One day, Haru felt bad that he kept missing out on the festivities everyone else was enjoying so she'd stay near him on the off chance he'd wake up. She'd offer him something to eat or to drink.

Somehow, one day, it just became a habit. If Gokudera passes out, you could expect Haru to stay nearby to check in on him and make sure he's doing okay. Sometimes she'd lend him her lap as he's out cold. It was always unfortunate that this happens because of a traumatic response, but she always hopes that waking up with company makes it a bit less 'sucky' as they'd say.

She has the habit now of smiling at him, "Good morning~" when he does finally wake up. The first time he woke up using her lap as a pillow, the look of confusion was rather cute-- but she won't tell him that. Maybe that's why she continued to do so afterwards.

What I Watched This Week – 12/10 – 12/16

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn – I guess I’ve been in a Gundam mood, as I watched War in the Pocket last week, and I decided to watch this finale of sorts for the Universal Century timeline this week. I not only really enjoyed it, it might be my new favorite mecha series. The story has everything I love about the earlier Gundam series: a young man stumbling into combat and having his worldview upended, conflict between two parties who are neither all good nor entirely evil, nicely choreographed battles between mecha pilots with genuine stakes, and just the right amount of metaphysical sci-fi woo woo. It loses a couple of the things I didn’t like about the original series, as there are no random children wandering around for no reason, and our reluctant hero protagonist isn’t an arrogant prick to everyone in the beginning. The visuals are fantastic, perfectly mixing 2D and 3D animation in the space battles, with character designs that fit the style of the other Universal Century series, but also fit with more recent aesthetics. Having a soundtrack by Hiroyuki Sawano was just the icing on the cake. If this was my reward for making it through ZZ Gundam, it was all worth it. 9/10

Libra of Nil Admirari – This is one of those shows that isn’t very good, but is bad in an entirely enjoyable way. It adapts an otome game set in an alternate universe Japan where the Taisho Era lasted twice as long, and there is a government agency tasked with collecting and safeguarding hand-written Japanese-style books that have taken on supernatural powers. Our heroine gains the ability to see the auras of these books after one causes her brother to catch fire, leading her to get a job at this agency full of attractive guys. It has everything you’d want from a female demo visual novel adaptation; There’s the brooding loner, the charismatic leader, the flirtatious playboy, the tsundere rich boy, the twink, and the mystery man with a dangerous aura. There’s a secret fiancé, the heroine gets kidnapped, they sneak into a ball, there’s a dramatic fatherhood reveal, people get murdered, there’s a government conspiracy, you know, the works. It’s all kind of cheesy, and everyone quickly becomes enamored of our heroine for no discernable reason, but I love this shit, so I had fun. 6/10

Reborn! Ep. 76-100 – For reasons not yet revealed to the characters, Tsuna and his crew have been sent ten years into the future, where a rival family has all but taken over the world. I like how Tsuna has hardly whined or complained about the situation, and I have a bit of a soft spot for training arcs, so these episodes haven’t been bad or anything. However, it just feels like the setting is completely falling apart here. The series was never terribly serious about the mafia setting, but in this arc it’s basically tossed it in the bin and replaced it with tokusatsu-style villains and magical battles, and I can’t understand it. If you didn’t want to draw men in suits, why pick the mafia? Why are we fighting with magical devices now? When did gun battles or sword fights between guys in sharp suits get so unappealing that you had to replace them with glowing, purple serpents and goofy evil society costumes? And why did you bring the two girls to the future just to have them cook and do laundry for the guys? I’m going to put this on hold for a bit, and I’ll see if I want to finish it sometime in the new year.

Because brain went random, Tenth Generation but they get isekaid to Baldur's Gate just in time to get tadpoled. The reason they were caught was because they were still processing being isekaid, they were unprepared for Mindflares mental manipulation bullshit (Hibari), and in Tsuna's case his Hyper Intuition got caught in a loop via focusing on the tentacles that it didn't pay attention to the rest of the body language.

Anyways stuff happens, they escape with Tav and their Elements to be, and are currently sticking together for obvious reasons. Also Tsuna can and will inflict everyone with sensory overload via essentially making them experience the bullshit of Hyper Intuition through the tadpoles whenever sufficiently annoyed because no one is prepared for how much they notice with Hyper Intuition shoved on them.

Lae’zel: *opens her mouth to say something rude and/or suggest murder as a solution to a very minor problem*

Tsuna: Wrong. Super Anxiety for you.

But for realsies this would be a lot of fun to play with.

Tav would be baffled over all of these human children (“Did you say fifteen? That’s like an infant” “Tav, human years buddy” “that still has to be young! Wyll, tell me that is young!”) Tsuna would have resigned himself to saving the world yet again while looking like he wants nothing more than a god damn nap, Hibari and Lae’zel are either sparring or actively trying to murder each other, Hayato is studying Gale’s weird chest thing in order to see if he can use it to make his own bombs more powerful (god help them all if he learns magic boy would never stop casting fireball), Wyll and Takeshi are trading sword techniques, Ryohei and Karlach are bringing so much energy to the table that no one knows what to do with, Mukuro is off being a bitchy gay with Astarion, Lambo has set himself on fire in the campfire twice, chrome and Shadowheart are holding onto each other as their last bastion of sanity.

Poor Withers looks like he wishes he could die again.

The Storm Battle is definitely one of the highlights of the ring battle. It was really fun to see Bel work his magic, remember one of my friends absolutely fell in love with him during this fight lol absolutely deserved. And yes!!! Gokudera did so good during this episode, the speech from Tsuna lives in my mind rent free. I think it was really good showing on Gokudera’s development that he came back after Tsuna’s speech because at the start of that arc he definitely would have felt the need to prove himself and would not have come back with a “loss” even if it cost him its life. It was so good to see him start to value his life. UGH ALL AROUND GOOD STUFF. BEL IS DEFINITELY A FAV IN VARIA. ABSOLUTE BANGER OF A BOY. 

Also yes!! Verdes team was genuinely quite frightening during rainbow arc they were wrecking everybody until they teamed up. Mukuros been on their team for longer than he’d like to attempt, so it was really nice to see him properly fight alongside Tsuna after everything that happened in the series. They really do understand each others skills <3 and YES CHROME MY BELOVED, we got some good Chrome scenes in Rainbow arc. Love the battles in Reborn alot.

Possible discussion we can have as a fandom, but do you guys have favorite Reborn episodes and/or favorite Manga chapters?

I think it's difficult for me to choose a favorite anime episode I'm too in love with the anime for that LOL, but my favorite Manga chapter is Chapter 390, Failure as a Home tutor, and if you've had any discussion with me every about reborn and Tsunas relationship, you know why. 😭 I love this chapter to death, I can reference it like the back of my hand..for those of you that are normal and don't have KHR sewn into your brain like I do, this is the chapter where Tsuna stands up to Reborn and actively goes against what Reborn wants because he is going to save this dying man who has already given up. It's the culmination of Tsunas growth represented into one chapter as well as Reborn as his most vulnerable, and how these two work through it together. It's such a beautiful chapter and I could talk for hours about it.
