I still think that, if Konami isnât going to make any more games of their old franchises, they should let them be subsumed into Yu-Gi-Oh! cameos the way Gradius is/was
gimme an entire series of Vandal Hearts cards, or a SNATCHER spell/trap that copies an opponentâs monster...or at least throw Sparkster the Rocket Knight into the âFur Hireâ archetype--like, câmon, that one is so obvious
#when i play my gradius deck i really feel more like i'm playing gradius than ygo#stacking powerups on fragile ships that die in 1 hit to almost everything? trying to gather boosts by attacking ''popcorn'' enemies?#hell my deck even gets gradius syndrome (if I work to make a strong ship and it gets destroyed then i'm in danger)#not sure how you'd similarly capture the magic in say contra or suikoden cards (there's only so many monster zones y'know) but at least try

Friday Night Magic
AO3 Link -- I'm pretty sure this was an old ask, but I don't have the original request anymore. Sorry!
Your husband of many years, John Price, has been keeping your secret: you love it when he plays doctor, giving you a happy little pill that makes you really sleepy, really fast. The best part is that you never know how youâll be woken up. But, when he suggests that you can still play together even while heâs in the middle of hosting game night with his mates, you decide to trust in the fact that the doctor really does know best.Â
TW: non-consensual sex, drugged sex, nc-somno, rape, gangbang, betrayal, anal and vaginal sex, references to past rape events
His hand was doing nothing for him, and John hadnât drawn a usable spell in the past six turns. He was mana-screwed and bored with his lieutenantâs penchant for playing control decks. But, it was Friday, and thatâs all that mattered. The tired captain always looked forward to Fridays when they were off-mission. It meant that he got to drink through his whiskey collection, smoke way too damn many cigars, and play Magic: the Gathering with his mates. All work and no play makes John a dull boy, after all.Â
Friday nights also meant that you were tucked away in your room, playing with yourself while your man played cards, often overstimulating yourself to the point of tears so that when he was ready to fuck you, his cheeks pink and his breath smelling of whiskey and tobacco, he could go for hours, his fat dick drowning in the milky mess youâd made. He was like your very own sex machine, pounding away at your drooling hole, half-drunk and eager to have you in every position he could dream of.Â
Sometimes, though, Johnâs Friday nights were extra special. Right now, he couldnât even concentrate on the game. He just wanted to check on you to see if he was about to get a very rare kind of lucky. Fingers crossed, he excused himself from the table and padded into his bedroom, nudging the door open a crack to see where you were.Â
You were laying in bed atop your plush blanket, dressed in a matching mesh set, a pale pink bra and crotchless panty, lazily touching yourself with your deft fingers and reading smut on your phone. You didnât even remove your hand from your clit when he walked in, continuing to swirl slow circles around its sensitive head, rolling your hips just a little to help you feel the slow, delightful drag of your pleasure. Â
âHey, pretty bird,â John purred, sitting beside you, feeling the mattress sink under his weight.Â
âHey, baby. You done with your game?â You asked, peeked up over the edge of your phone before turning back to your scrolling.
âNot yet,â John leaned forward and kissed your nipple through the fabric of your bra, the thin mesh letting you feel the hot, wet whisper of his tongue.
You moaned for him, a lovely, ragged sound. It awakened something mean and primal in his chest. You pouted a bit when he pulled away, your bottom lip bulging out and showing him a small frown,
âI thought you wanted to play doctor tonight.â
Jackpot. John was a lucky man, indeed. He felt the blood from his core rush down to his prick, making his flesh instantly start to swell. He loved playing doctor.Â
âWe can still play,â he began to tease you, snaking his hand up your ankle and calf, his palm warming your skin.Â
âArenât your mates still here?â You asked, a hint of scandal in your tone.Â
John cocked an eyebrow, questioning your inquiry, a bit put out by your resistance,
âDonât you wanna take your medicine, love?â His hand slipped slowly over the meat of your inner thigh, his longest fingers reaching just past the seal of your lips, barely dipping into your swollen, drooling hole, âFeels like youâve got a fever.â
âYou think so?â You smiled coyly up at him, putting down your phone and playing with your nipples in front of him, pinching and shaking them back and forth through the pink fabric.Â
John nodded, âI think you should take a pill, yeah? Better nip this in the bud before you get sick, sweetheart.â
âThe doctor knows best!â You winked at him and rooted around in the bottom of your beside table.
You pulled out a little purple pill bottle, tipped the lid, and placed a white tablet in his open palm. John removed his other hand from between your legs and used the fingers that had been inside of you to gently lift the pill to your lips.Â
âSay ahh,â he commanded, almost all of the softness gone from his voice.Â
âAhhâŠâ You made a long noise with your throat, tipping your head back and sticking out your tongue. When you felt the pill land in place, you flipped it under your tongue to allow it to dissolve.Â
âGood girl,â John praised you, letting you suckle on his slick-covered fingers as you liked, enjoying how you were sucking him down to his knuckles as if you were practicing for his cock. Then, once the pill was gone, you released his hand and kissed his palm, the sticky sheen of your lip gloss making a little popping noise as you did.Â
âThank you, doctor. I know youâll make me feel so much better,â you smiled,Â
âI will, sweetheart. Come say goodnight to the boys.â
âOkay, but I need my robe,â you said, your voice laced with heavy apprehension. John wasnât asking, though, and he helped you stand up from the bed, taking your phone and wrapping your silk nightgown around you, doing the bare minimum for your modesty.Â
You fixed yourself in your vanity mirror and followed John out into the main room, holding the robe tight against your body as you emerged.Â
âHey, bonnie,â Soapâs face lit up, âGood to see ya.â
âYou, too! Just wanted to come say good night before I went off to bed.â
âOh, no. You gotta join us for a game, babes. Itâs been too long,â Gaz chided you playfully, grabbing you by the shoulder and guiding you to the table.Â
You looked up at John for help. But, he knew exactly what he was doing. He knew you only had a few more minutes before the pill would start to take effect, and he also knew that you were way too shy to tell them the truth about your naughty little habit.Â
What could you say? Oh, sorry, I canât play tonight. I took an extra-strength sleeping pill because I want my husband to fuck me while Iâm helpless and knocked out cold.Â
John smiled, watching you squirm and rack your brain for any and every excuse to back out,
âOh, no, thereâs no more chairs. Iâll just ââ
âSiâ down,â Simon said curtly, grabbing your hip and pulling you down onto his lap, letting your legs straddle one of his huge thighs, âYou can play my hand, Mrs. Price.â
The fact that your robe had ridden up your legs almost to reveal your thick asscheeks was only a secondary concern. The primary one was that your well-rubbed pussy was already leaving a damp stain on Simonâs jeans. His thigh was as hard as a stone, heavy with muscle, and he was holding your hip hard enough to keep you fully pressed to him. The only movement you could make was to grind back against him, which you had to do every time you lost your balance on his leg.Â
You tried your best to pay attention to the game, but you were struggling to stay alert. The pillâs effects were making your head foggy and your eyes droop. Your fingers were too weak to hold the cards, and when they dropped from your hand, your husbandâs smile turned sinister.
âFeelinâ alright there, love?â Gaz asked, a hint of teasing in his voice.
âUmâŠâ You tried to form a sentence, but the words wouldnât come out.
âFelt a bit under the weather earlier, wasnât she? Took her pill, though. Makes her a bit drowsy,â Price explained, sitting next to Simon, rubbing your back, not seeming to care that his hands were shifting the collar of the robe out of place and making it hang down your shoulder, revealing the top of your sheer bra to the whole room.Â
You tried to fix it, but you were slowly losing control of your arms, feeling like you were floating in a dreamy sea.Â
âDinnae fash, hen,â Johnny grinned, folding his hand on the table, âWeâll tuck you in, wonât we, lads?â
âAye, that we will,â Simonâs voice was deep and low, spoken right into your ear.Â
You looked up at John for help, realizing that he wasnât going to save you. You thought he would scoop you up and take you back to bed, or at least make some excuse and send his men home, but no. He was letting them pull at your robe so that it hung around your waist, watching them reveal your ample tits in your see-through bra, doing nothing but looking pleased as could be.Â
âJohnâŠâ You slurred, feeling yourself slip away to a drugged sleep, hearing his words right before your head fell to the table in front of you,
âSweet dreams, love.â
You were gone from the world, floating in between being awake and being asleep. And it almost seemed like you could feel yourself being fucked. The pleasure was there, and yet, you couldnât move or scream. You couldn't open your eyes. But, John would never allow that to happen. It was just a dream, right?
When you first awoke in one of your windows of consciousness, you were still at the table, but something was⊠wrong. You hadnât moved from Simonâs lap, but now, he was moving you. You were split over his cock, and he was buried, balls-deep in your pussy, fondling your breasts under your mesh bra. The others were laughing, talking, joking, carrying on their game, but their eyes leered at you like hyenas waiting their turn to sink their teeth into the neck of a caught gazelle.
âMmngh, ungh,â you tried to speak, but you sounded drunk, âJohn?â
âNo, princess,â Simon snarled in your ear, âYour big manâs lettinâ us jump the line, yeah? Nice of him, innit? Fuck, I love Fridays.â
âWhat?â You were so confused. Why was Simon talking as if this had happened before? You were so ashamed, and John was right beside you. How could he let this happen? âJohn⊠PleaseâŠâ
You tried to reach out to him, but your arms only lifted to his knee, trying to grab at his shirt or hand, anything to make him help you. Simonâs dick was steadily pounding into your swollen cunt, and John was just smoking his cigar and laughing at your feeble attempts to get free.Â
âHush, now, love. Riley loves playinâ doctor, just like me. In fact, the boys have been takinâ good care of you every time they stop by, havenât you?â
âAye,â Johnny held his whiskey up to you as if to give you a toast, his eyes wide and full of a sick sort of hunger, âThat bonnie cunt gets me through the week, lass. And ye keep it so wet for us. Such a good wee missus youâve got, Capân.â
âCanât thank you enough for the hospitality, Mrs. Price,â Gaz nodded to Soap, agreeing with his crude statement, taking another swig of his drink as his other hand moved under the table, moving rhythmically, obviously jerking himself off to the sight of you being speared on Simonâs big dick.Â
Suddenly, you felt Simonâs hands grip your hips on both sides of your body, holding you down onto the base of his cock, and you knew that he was about to come. You squirmed, wishing you could muster up any kind of strength, feeling as if you were still dreaming,Â
âNo⊠No! Stop⊠Please⊠Donât come in meâŠâ
John cupped your cheek as his lieutenant dumped load after load of his sticky come into your body, his cock pulsing inside of you like a heartbeat, each throb of its huge shaft was another thick pool of his spend, turning your stomach and bringing desperate tears to the corners of your eyes.
âShh, shh, shh,â John purred, âTake the medicine Rileyâs givinâ you, love. Itâll make you feel so much better. You want mine next, hm? Will that make it right, pretty girl?â
âUnghhhâŠâ You felt your body betray you, your pussy needing to come. Simon had one of his hands working quick, lurid circles around your clit, and now he was dragging you to a climactic peak, forcing you to come on his spent cock.Â
As you felt yourself spin out of control, your legs began to shake, giving away your moment of pleasure to the whole table.Â
âThatâs a good girl,â John praised you, brushing a stray lock of hair out of your face.Â
âFuck, sheâs so wet. I think she likes an audience, Cap,â Simon observed, planting sloppy kisses onto your neck as you trembled from the aftershocks of your bliss.Â
They barely allowed you to cool down before John said,
âCâmere, love. My turn.â
Simon lifted you off of his lap with Priceâs help, your robe fluttering to the floor. Your husband turned you on your back, laying you on the table across the cold wood and stacks of strewn playing cards. You tried to roll away, tried to sit up, but it was no use. The drugs had their hold on you, and you felt yourself fading back into a deep sleep.Â
Just before the blackness took you, you saw John lining up his fat, drooling cock at your entrance, sliding his head through Rileyâs come with little resistance.Â
âMmm-fuck. Youâre so tight even after Rileyâs prick, love. This pussy can just take so much cock, huh? Perfect girl.â
You slipped away into sleep yet again, and it seemed like you had only been out for a few minutes. You woke again in the same position, with your husband brutally pounding away at your hole, stuffing himself inside with wet, slick, slapping sounds.Â
Hands were roughly groping your tits from the other side of the table, none of which belonged to your husband, and as they played with your nipples, they began to pinch and pull at them, making you cry out.Â
âLook whoâs awake again,â John cooed, his voice laced with farcical pity, âDonât worry. Youâll get Johnny and Kyle soon enough.â
You couldnât hold on. You tried to struggle against the shadowy slumber that pressed down on all your senses, but it was no use.Â
When you woke up again, you were in bed. Your pillow and blanket were gone, but you recognized the soft sheets. Then, you realized you were moving. The whole mattress was shaking back and forth, and Johnny was behind you, shoving his leaking dick into your asshole.Â
âUnghff-fuck! You back among the living, bonnie? Your tight little hole just grabbed me like a fuckinâ vice.â
âS-s-stop. PleaseâŠâ You managed to whisper, your throat feeling sore for some reason. You tried not to think about why that would be.
âCannae stop, lass. Your manâs dead set on findinâ the cure for what ails you, and Iâm here to help. Based on how wet your wee slit has become, I think weâre on the right track.â
Just when you heard his words tease you about your wetness, you felt his fingers slip inside of your pussy, three of them, cruelly thick, following his cockâs rhythm, stretching you wider than youâd ever been in your whole life.Â
You tried to cry out, to scream, to call for help, but it was no use. So, you melted into his efforts instead, feeling your muscles flutter against him, threatening to make you come from his anal sex. He didnât seem to notice your mounting pleasure, or if he did, he didnât much care. He just continued to thrust into your holes, slamming his stocky weight into you, making your cheek sink into the mattress as you lay face-down, ass-up for your husbandâs best friend.
The last thing you heard as you fell into unconsciousness was Johnnyâs moans, and his comment of surprise,
âOh, bonnie girl. You gonna come for me? Fuck, yesâŠâ
Your next moment of lucidity was in the living room. You were on the couch. Well, your face was laying against the crook of someoneâs neck, your forehead pushing into the fabric upholstery, as you were being fucked in their lap on the sofa. You tried to lift yourself to see what was happening to you, and as you did, you saw that you were riding Simon again, straddling his legs as he fucked his cock up into your dripping hole from below. His mouth was suckling from your nipple, your bra missing, latched on and unwilling to let go, leaving little hickies behind as his teeth teased the sensitive nub.Â
But, he wasnât alone. There was⊠something⊠happening to your asshole. You craned your neck to see Kyle standing behind you, fucking his long dick into your ass as Simon pounded into you from below.Â
You let out a long moan, the pleasure that youâd been receiving clearly coursing through you despite your lack of consent. You had been coming and coming and coming, and you hadnât been awake for any of it.Â
âHoly shit,â Garrick growled, his grip on your flank tightening hard enough to bruise, âSheâs gonna come again. Canât fuckinâ believe it. Feels so goddamn good.â
âFuck,â Simon popped his mouth away from your chest to lean his head back, relaxing as he rode the waves of your impromptu orgasm, âOh, look. Sheâs awake.â
Kyleâs huge hand fisted your hair and pulled you back so he could see your face,
âI dunno. I wouldnât call that awake. How much did she take?â
âCap gave her two more when she was with him and Soap, so weâve got time, Sergeant. Donât we, love?â Simon grabbed your face without care, squeezing your cheeks and making you look at him through hooded, tired eyes, âOh, yeah, we do. All the time in the world.â

đ Moon Phases đ
Agatha Harkness X Fem!Reader
Chapter 34:
He pulled the first card, looking at it before he turned it so Agatha could see it too. "The Horse Drawn Carri..."
"The Chariot?" Agatha interrupted him, clearly wanting to get this over with. Plus, it was clear that Billy was not as knowledgeable about it as he claimed to be. "It's literally written on the card."
You looked at your lover. "Let him do it, Agatha. Unless you want to give it a try, " you scolded, knowing fully well how she looked down upon the tarot cards and tarot reading in general.
She would often call it lesser magic or circus tricks.
"Fine," she mumbled and motioned for Billy to continue.
Billy cleared his throst. "Right. So, obviously, you're
leaving somewhere behind, and you have these sphinxes with you, and they represent your... your... mysteriousness."
Agatha placed her elbows on the table and interlocked her fingers before resting her chin on them. "You have a real gift."
"This card hasn't really come up much for me." He confessed and placed the card on one of the carved empty spaces.
Immediately, the sound of metallic objects clanging with one another made you all look up; only then noticing the dozens upon dozens of hanged swords; attached to the ceiling by some sort of string?
You were not sure.
You could not see any details from that distance, but you were quite sure they were not props or fake. Something was telling you that they were real and very sharp swords, positioned in a way that would finish off any one of you.
Billy shallowed hard. "I'll try another one." He drew the next card. "Seven of Swords."
You could not help but scoff faintly. "At least you're on theme." You commented and earned a look from him, clearly not happy with your words. "Sorry," you apologised and gently lifted your hands up as a sign of surrender.
"I know this one. It's about deception and betrayal." He started to explain. "But it's reversed.
So that means the opposite. Are you being truthful?" He questioned and looked at Agatha.
He clearly did not believe her to be saying the truth cause well... she was Agatha Harkness. She won nothing by being honest, and Billy doubted she had ever been, at least with him.
He wasn't sure about you, but considering how you did not expect her visit back then, when they were gathering coven members, and this odd tension existing between the two of you... it was wise of him to assume that you hadn't talked in a while.
And he did wonder if you were even together or had this strange former romantic bond; like how Agatha seemed to have with Rio.
Agatha grew bored of this, not liking be judged or having cards trying to expose her in any way. She had been trying hard to keep that mask, that facade of a tough woman that cared for nothing other than herself.
She couldn't let a few stupid cards ruin that, and she wasn't going to let it happen.
"You know what, I think I will do it instead. My turn." She grabbed the card stack from Billy.
He tried to hold it back, but he was too slowly, and he quickly lost possession of it.
"Agatha," you started, feeling that this was about to turn into a really bad idea.
"Oh, don't you worry now. Tarot is a con like any other, remember?" She asked rhetorically, clearly not sharing your worries or caring about the rules. She never did. "There's no magic to it. There's no skill."
"That's not true." Billy argued. "It's about intuition.
Knowing which card to pull. And it's about interpretation, divining their meaning."
She paid him no mind as she grabbed one random card and placed it on top of the Chariot that he had pulled before.
Suddenly, one of the swords that was hanging from the ceiling was let loose. It pinned itself into the wooden floor, little too close to Billy for his liking.
You looked up with fearful eyes, losing count on how many swords were up there. Worse was the fact that they were so evently spread that it would be impossible to find a spot and be safe.
Agatha placed another card down and then another, clearly just doing it like that and not using any magic or intuition as one should.
She even cackled like a true evil witch as more and more swords started to fall, some closer and some further away from you.
"Agatha!" You called out her name as one sword landed too close to you, making your heart increase in beat at the fact that had you been stabbing one step to the left; you would not be alive and breathing right now.
Your shout made her stop, seeing you eyeing the sword with fear in your eyes. A quick check made her realize you were unharmed, and that was enough.
"Slow down! What is your problem?" Billy shouted, having moved from his chair to avoid a sword that almost hit him.
Agatha looked at the fearful duo. "This is a numbers game. We keep at it until we get the right cards in the right spots or the ceiling runs out of swords."
"This won't work, Ags," you said, shaking your head faintly to emphasise your disagreement.
"I'm not sure how much math you did back in Salem, but that will take forever." Billy argued.
"We still have some time."
"I wish Lilia was here."
And as if the Road had heard him, once again, it happened. The bookcase behind you was pulled open, and Jen with Lilia entered the room; their outfits also changed to fit the trial's theme and mood.
Jen had been affected the most with her evil queen hag outfit, coming along with grey big eyebrows and a nose; an enjoyable sight for you after all the times Jen's attitude had tested your pat
Lilia, on the other hand, seemed to be some sort of good witch based on her outfit; though you could not tell for sure.
What you could tell for sure was the fact that something was going on because Lilia was switching moods.
For example, how, at first, she said she was okay with Billy; holding no grudges, and then... she flipped.
She pointed a finger, harshly pressed against his chest. By instinct alone, Billy started to walk backwards, and Lilia simply kept advancing.
"Whoa! Ow! I thought we were cool!" He exclaimed, eyes daring to glance at you and Agatha for help.
"We are not cool, Teenager." Lilia said, surprising both Jen and Yoi.
"Damn, using his full name." Jen commented, and you nodded silently.
"She is definitely angry, " you commented next.
Lilia was always the calmest, even her threats being of a low tone; which was what was so unique about her.
This time, though, you could see the fire behind her eyes, and even you would not dare to stand in her way.
After all, one would be wise to fear the calm people when they stopped being calm. It was always them that held the most destructive rage.
Ironic, for the same had been told about you; at least until people realized you were never calm. You simply expressed your worry differently or passed phases when you were indiffirent to everything; the world around you sliding off your body and nothing capable of sticking on you.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have lashed out at you. You didn't deserve..." Billy started to apologize. "I wasn't hiding my power from you. I didn't know that I could... I'm not lying to you.
It was a surprise to me, too... if I'd have known, I would've..." he paused for a moment as his telepathic abilities started to work. "Yes, of course, I would have used it to save Alice."
Lilia looked at him, trying to study him behind her aged but expeencd eyes. "You're reading my mind." She picked up.
"Only because it's so loud. No offence." Billy offered a weak small smile to show he had no ill intentions.
"I don't want to ruin any reunions, but we need you, Lilia," you said, moving to stand close and use your hands to separate them faintly. "This is your trial, and either we do it right, or we can kiss our lives goodbye."
And as Lilia started to remember how she had met Billy before, as William; you chose to interfere.

And yet here he was, preparing for a date ,8 hours before the arranged time.Â
He pulled out a first outfit and stared at it, âI shouldnât pick anything too fancy, itâs just a movie anywayâŠâ he muttered to himself while pulling out more clothes
He finally had everything prepared, his fanny pack with all necessities, and his fit simple and practical
Now all he had to do was wait for the time⊠which was two hours from now
Rin ended up getting there 30 minutes before the arranged timeâŠ
âHey Rin! Sorry if Iâm a bit lateâŠâ you laughed awkwardly. You were not late, in fact, you were 5 minutes early. âWere you waiting for a long time?â
âNo, not at allâ he put his ear buds away and gave you his full attention âYou ready to go?â
The two of you slowly made your way over to the theater, chit chatting about all kinds of things
âYou wanna sneak some food in?â you grinned at him while pointing at a convenience store to your left
âThatâs not legal is itâŠ.â
â...â
âSure.â
You were in charge of grabbing snacks, and Rin grabbed drinks. He browsed the shelfs for a bit before grabbing four different kinds, including your favourite that you had mentioned on the walk
âFour?â you questioned the boy holding the bottlesÂ
âYea. I got your favourite and some others.â he held them up to show you, as if it was perfectly normal
âWonât that cost a lotâŠ?â she stared at him, slightly concerned as he placed the items on the register, the total was going much above what youâd thought
âIâll pay.â he insisted. And pay he did, you didnât even had time to respond before he tapped his card on the reader
âThe only problemâ he started, gathering the items âIs sneaking them inâŠâ
âOh, I can do thatâ you offered with a smile, sifting through the objects âIâve got experienceâ
Rin nodded before pulling out his phone to check the time. Once he had put his phone away, all foods and drinks were out of sight
You just smiled at him as he just stared at you with wide eyes, as if heâd just seen a magic trick âWhere didâŠâ he looked you up and down, trying to figure it out
âExperience.â you gave a smug nod
The two of you made your way over to the cinema, successfully passed through security, and sat down into your seats [for the sake of the plot, itâs a pair of chairs that arenât separated, so thereâs nothing between you twođ ]
You pulled out the snacks from who knows where and handed some to him
âSo, what are we watching?â
âThe Shiningâ he answered shortly, opening a bag of popcorn, silently wondering where you hid that much food
As the movie started, the two of you shared the snack and watched carefully, few words exchanged at firstÂ
If you disliked the horror parts, he put an arm around you and hid your face into his neck. If it got really bad, heâd put his hands over your ears and smile at you to try and comfort you.Â
Or heâd just whisper to you over the movie âItâs alright, Iâm here.â, âDonât worry, itâll be over soonâ, etc. Wouldnât make fun of you if you cried (the first time LOL), heâd just hug you tighter đ„č
If you were fine with gore, or even as far as being interested in it (how do yall do it-), he just stared at you in awe.
Itâs not like heâs bad with it, heâs just shocked that someone else enjoys it too, silently running through a list of movies you two could watch together in the future.
Not too many words were exchanged during it, but you two had lots of fun nonetheless.
âThank you for bringing me today!â you smiled at him, making your way outside
âNo problem, thank you for joining me.â Rin nodded while disposing of the snack wrappers and bottles
âLet me walk you back to the train station, itâs dark out.â he grabbed your hand and intertwined your fingers with his before leading you through the night
âThank youâ you gave a bow as you reached the station âI had fun tonightâ
âYea, me tooâŠâ he said, slowly realizing how beautiful you looked in the moonlight. He hoped the darkness of the night hid his blush
You leaned in and gave him a quick kiss while slipping a button from you shirt into his hands, a common way of expressing love in Japan
He covered his red face with a hand, while looking at the floor in embarrassmentÂ
He took off his jacket just as you were about to leave and shoved it into your hands, âDonât want you getting coldâŠâ he barely mumbled, before preparing to leave
You gave him one last thanks before putting the jacket on as he left
As he walked home, he wasnât actually that cold. Maybe it was because of the extra sweater he had underneath, maybe it was because he was hoping youâd ask for it and prepared earlier that day, maybe it was because his face was so hot from the interaction, who knows :x
He was smiling the whole walk home, and even took a wrong turn because he was so distracted, didnât even put his earbuds back in because he was so focused on the memories of that day
Once he got home he texted you to make sure you did too
The two of you will 100% be going on another date, and this time, youâll get to choose where ;) (just please donât make him watch like, mlp⊠or do, thatâd be pretty funny- )
>Shidou
[Arcade/just around the block]
How Shidou managed to convince you to go out with him? I have no clue.
This man was running around the house grabbing his things 5 minutes before you were supposed to meet up. Itâd take 10 minutes to get there.
You were just scrolling as you waited for him, already 2 minutes late. You werenât all that surprised, he was that typa guy after all. But you were surprised when he crashed into you, panting as he tried to catch his breathÂ
âIâm- *wheeze* sorry that Iâm- *wheeze* late-â he was hunched over with sweat dripping down his face
How fast did he run??? You thought to yourself while silently facepalming.
âHereâ you said, pulling out a plastic water bottle and handing it to him âTake a second to catch your breathâ Â
âThank you- my goddessâ he said, before chugging the whole bottle. Shidou finally gained his composure âYou know, that was technically an indirect kissâ he teased while giving you back the bottle.
You threw it out.
He pouted for a second before following you down the street, âSooo, where do ya wanna go first?â
âYou donât have anything planned?â you questioned him
âNoooâŠ. Was I supposed to-??â he didnât realize he actually had to do anything-
âWell- you were the one who asked me outâŠâ you mumbled more to yourself than him, âNevermind, thereâs a big arcade around here, wanna play a few rounds?â
âHell yea!â he said excitedlyÂ
Once you two had arrived, he bought you both a bunch of tokens (as an apology for being late/wanted to show off) and I mean a bunch.
You watched him play a few games, and you were pretty shocked with how good he was with some of them, I mean, how much practice could someone really have with Flappy Bird?? The chance-based games though- donât even get me started LOL heâd either get really lucky, or really unlucky.
Eventually, you guys found the strength/reflex based games. The ones with hammers, buttons, etc.
He tried the one with the hammer first. It was a simple one, all he had to do was hit it as hard as he could, the harder the better. Shidou picked up the tool, and slammed it down on the sensor. You couldâve swore he broke it.
He turned at you and smiled brightly âJackpot!â
âDamn, youâre goodâ you stated, gathering the tickets as you ignored the scared children in the background. âLetâs try Whack-a-Mole next!â He dragged you over to the minigame.
He won again.
As you gathered the tickets again, you thought you should show off a bit tooâŠ
You grinned before grabbing his hand and leading him over to a certain stall you saw on your way in. It was one you played many times and you could constantly score well on.Â
You placed your belongings on the floor before starting up the game and stretching your fingers while Shidou just stared at his hand like heâd been touched by an angel
As the game started, you mashed buttons with your eyes focused on the screen at an alarming rate. Shidouâs eyes couldnât even keep up, his jaw on the floor
Finally the game ended, with you beating the top score on the machine. You collected your mass amount of tickets and smiled at the boy âJackpot!â
Shidou pouted âWhen were you going to tell me you were so good with your fingers~?â
You sighed as you continued to look around, âHey Shidou look, if we beat these bots in a shooter game we get free pizzaâ you pointed at an advertisement stuck to the wall
He glanced at the poster quickly before giving you a devilish grin âYou down?â
âHell yeah.â
You picked up the prop gun in the booth and pressed the âReadyâ button, waiting for the simulation to start. You closed an eye and pulled the fake trigger, shooting the zombies coming at you and Shidou.
You could hear his trigger-happy laughs from beside you as he one-shotted the enemies. Needless to say, you two won. Shidou stepped out the booth with a smug smile as you redeemed your free pizza, âYouâre not bad~â he teased
You laughed âYouâre pretty good too, Shidouâ
You two sat down to eat as you chatted, âThank you for coming today! I was really worried you were gonna ditch LOLâ Shidou said nonchalantly as he scarfed down a sliceÂ
âIs that why you were lateâŠ.?â you asked, picking up your own slice
âNah, I just forgot!â he smiled
After lunch, you played a few more games, amassing a very large sum of tickets. You and Shidou now stared at the prizes, thinking about what you wanted. âHmmmmâ he thought out-loud, âYou can have all the tickets.â he looked at you with a smileÂ
âReally?â you asked skeptically âYou sure? Thatâs a lot-â
âYea, 100%. I donât mindâ he handed you his tickets âJust one thing in returnâŠâ he smirked at you mischievously
You hesitated but took the tickets anyway, âWhat is itâŠâ
He pointed at his cheek, âGimme a kissâÂ
â...â
â...Please?â
You gave him a very quick one before going back to looking at the prizes, Shidou smiled and buried his face into his hands, looking up at you with hearts in his eyesÂ
You placed a huge plushie of your favourite animal on the table for the worker to scan, and you brought out the tickets to pay. Shidou came up to you from behind and clung onto your waist as he buried his face into your neck
The worker laughed as she handed you your plush, âYour boyfriend?â she questioned,
âNot quite-â you started, before getting cut off by Shidou,
âSoon.â he still latched onto you
After that, he walked you home and wished you a good day, he also asked for another kiss, it depends on you if you actually give it to him or not tho ;)
Heâd plop himself on his bed and just think about everything that happened, and now heâs sure he wants to go out with you again, itâs not much of a choice ;)
>Sae
[Fancy Restaurant/late night car drive]
This may be the fanciest date youâve ever been on- never had you dressed up so formally.Â
You took a few breaths while waiting at the door for Sae to pick you, checking your phone every 2 seconds. And finally you got a next, âIâm waiting for you outsideâ
Sae walked out and opened the car door for you, holding your hand while escorting you in. As he closed the doors and started up the engine, he pulled out a small bouquet of flowers, âThis is for youâ
You took the flowers in your hands and blushed, you had only mentioned your favourite type briefly, and yet he still remembered. âThank you, Sae.â you gave a short reply while looking at him brightlyÂ
He couldnât help but smile a bit at your reaction, silently freaking out about how good you looked
At the restaurant, you two were seated almost immediately, thanks to the reservation. He was a gentleman and everything, pulling out your chair for you, and kissing your hand lightly.Â
âHello! What can I get started for you?â a waiter came by with a notepad, ready to take your order, even though youâve only had the menu for like 40 seconds. Youâd need much more time than that to decide, but you didnât want to bother them, so you flipped through the menu quickly trying to pick
âWeâre still deciding.â Sae stated directly, putting his hand over yours which was tapping lightly on the table, a habit you developed when anxious.Â
You gave him a thankful nod and smile, to which he blushed lightly
âPick whatever you wantâ He said, âIâll pay.â
You wouldâve insisted on paying for yourself, but looking at the menu, there was no way you could afford it, so you thanked him and continued browsingÂ
After a bit, you decided what you wanted. You looked up at Sae and he was⊠looking at the kids menu-
I mean, who were you to judge? We love the kids menu, you just didnât expect Sae Itoshi of everyone to look thought it
He eventually noticed you staring at him, and flipped to another section âSorry..â he mumbled, slightly embarrassed. You had to hold in a laugh at the scene, and Sae only frowned playfully at you. âMy little brother used to always get something from there.â he stated, âAnyway, have you decided what you want?â
He called the waiter over and you both imputed your orders.
While the two of you waited for your food, you started a conversation, which soon led to another, and another. You were teasing him about not knowing anything other than soccer, and you even managed to get a few jokes and affectionate eyerolls out of him, and finally your food arrived.
As the waiter put the plates down, your jaw dropped as your mouth watered, it was the best food you have ever seen. Your entire face lit up as you grabbed a utensil and started going at it, not thinking about anything other than the delicious taste.
âYou look like youâve been starvedâ Sae laughed as he picked up his own fork and knife, and started cutting his stake like a proper person, especially compared to you who had sauce by your lips
He grabbed a napkin and wiped it off, smiling at your flustered reaction
The two of you ate, occasionally exchanging words, but you were much too busy appreciating the food, and he was much too busy appreciating your beauty
You let out a content sigh as you put your fork down and smiled âThat was good food.â you said, expression like youâve just been blessed by the heavens
Sae silently laughed, he used to come here pretty often with his family, so things like these werenât anything special to him, but you made it memorable.
He paid the bill and led you out the building, a small smile on his face.
âWhere to now?â you asked as you got in the car âYou said you wanted to show me something?â
âMhm.â Sae nodded as he drove out the parking lot âItâs a bit far, but we can get there quicklyâ he had the tiniest grin on his face, his eyes hiding a bit of mischiefÂ
You looked at him hesitantly, wondering what he was about to do. But you didnât even have a second to adjust before he suddenly accelerated, much higher than you couldâve anticipated.
âAIDUSGFLAUEGF-â you let out a string of swears as you were pushed into the seat by the speed you were going while he laughed
If there were cars around, he wouldâve crashed into one by now, or got pulled over. Luckily, it was pretty late at night and no one was around, so he could go however fast he wanted.
âAre you sure this is safe??â you yelled as Sae rolled down the windows
âTrust me.â he replied, before drifting 90° to turn
âSee?â he said with a smile âPerfectly safeâÂ
The car was now going at a slightly more normal pace as he held one hand on the steering wheel and intertwined the other one with yours as you tried to comprehend what happened. âWeâre almost thereâ he smiled
As you arrived, Sae helped you out as you looked around. I was just a huge empty parking lot, with seemingly nothing around, âWhat did you want to show me?â you asked
âLook upâ he nodded at the sky
As you turned to face it, big fireworks of every colour shot up, lighting up the night sky.
You smiled, you always loved fireworks after all âTheyâre so pretty..â
Sae pulled you in with a smile, âNot as pretty as youâ. Sae leaned in and pressed his lips against yours, a sweet feeling engulfing you both.
As you finally pulled away, you buried your red face in his chest, still flustered. Sae smiled, as he put a hand on your hand, and another around your waist âLetâs get you home, my loveâ

Hey Mark, I just wanted to say you've always seemed like a really cool guy. I've played magic for over 4/5ths of my life, since the early 2000s when I was only five years old, I even met most of my long time friends through it. But I think I finally feel alienated enough by it to drop it entirely.
I always enjoyed every aspect of this game, from the deckbuilding, to the flavor, to the color pie and the possibilities it presented. I loved the fantasy of it, of planeswalkers and wizards, dragons and castles.
Universes Beyond really was the end of it, all the way back then. When i heard the announcements I was terrified, I knew where it would lead even then. I loved the world of Magic, and it feels silly to say about a card game but I truly felt immersed in the world when I played, even with the different planes, everything cohered to an internal set of rules that seemed unbreakable.
For a while I continued, our local scene created a variant format that banned Universes Beyond cards so I was able to ignore them, but then came Neon Dynasty. It felt strange to me, like it was breaking what I had come to expect out of the game. Most people disagreed, said it was still Magic enough, but I wondered just how far it would be pushed before Magic lost any identity of its own, anything that separated it from Fortnite or any other crossover soup known entirely for the things it borrows rather than the things it is.
When I saw the first spoilers for Duskmourn, I think that was the straw that broke the camel's back. When I play at the table with my friends, I enjoy the fact that all the cards feel like part of one larger universe. And when I see cards with televisions and smartphones in them, with modern clothing and internet references, I just can't fit them together in my mind. It seems like a cool world, much like a lot of the crossovers are cool worlds, but I play Magic for well... Magic. If I wanted to play Fallout or Warhammer 40k, or watch Insidious or Walking Dead, then I would. But when I play Magic, I want to see magic.
And it's canon, just as canon as Innistrad or Alara. We can't excise it like we can Universes Beyond, and if we can't, then what's even the point of trying to "protect the tone" with those bans? What tone are we protecting, that's already been shattered from within?
More and more it feels like the game just isn't for me, doesn't want the kind of player that feels strongly about cohesion and immersion. And that's fine, it doesn't have to cater to me, and the current approach seems to bring in more people than it drives away. But it still just makes me sad, on a deep personal level, to give up on what has been such a major part of my life.
In all likelihood, I'm an outlier, and you could easily say that Magic getting even broader in what it covers is only a positive thing. Take my critiques only as the lamentations of a single person. But when you can put anything in a piece of media, when there's no unifying idea of what is and isn't possible, then it just starts to feel meaningless.
I'm sorry, I know you'll probably never read this, I mostly just needed to get it off my chest- and you're the closest thing to a human face Magic the Gathering has. Thank you for all the work you've put into it over the years, and I'm sorry that I can't enjoy it anymore.
Thanks for writing. From a big picture, Magic excels at creating variety and does poorly at consistency. The core idea of a trading card game is we make lots and lots of pieces you can play with and then you, the player, customize your game as you see fit. History has shown us, the wider we spread the potential of what Magic can be, the more people find something they enjoy and are attracted to the game.
Think of it this way. Each player has a different sense of what Magic is to them. There's no cutoff point where we make the majority of players happy. In fact, for many players, it's the ever-expanding quality to the game that they enjoy most.
This does mean though that we might make choices that don't connect with what you personally enjoy, and I respect that. If Magic isn't providing what you want out of it, that's okay. My only recommendation is don't get rid of your cards. Many Magic players rotate in and out of the game, and the number one complaint I hear from players who rotate back in is them having gotten rid of everything when they rotated out.
Magic might not be what you need right now, but maybe a few years from now you've changed in ways which makes it something you will enjoy. Or maybe Magic will evolve in a way that speaks to you. The only constant I know is you and Magic will both change. Just leave yourself the possibility of reconnecting.
Thanks for playing all these years, and I hope to see you again.

Iâd Break the Back of Love for You
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x Fem!Reader
Setting: Commonwealth (No France)
Warnings: Oral (f receiving), sexual situations
Summary: You have some serious appreciation for Darylâs shoulders.
A/N: As you should, reader. As you should.
gif by @daryl-dixon-daydreams
âHow long will you be gone?â You asked before popping a strawberry into your mouth. Daryl had brought them home upon his return only two days prior. You didnât ask where he found them and he didnât offer, but he wasn't banged up so he likely didnât risk life and limb for them. Well, anymore than he always did by going outside the safety of the Commonwealth.Â
He was already gathering supplies to head out again after a broadcast that Eugene had picked up on the radio. There wasnât much to it. Just a couple of scrambled words and a lot of static. Not enough, in your opinion, for Daryl to run out and risk himself.Â
The archer gave you a quick look, a corner of his mouth tugging upward when he noticed the plate of strawberries by your hip. âFew days maybe.â He answered, wrapping some bread and grabbing a couple of refilled bottles of water. He placed the items next to his shirt, on the counter you were currently calling a seat.Â
When he scratched at his chin, your eyes followed his movements but lingered once he had dropped his hand and moved on with packing. His goatee was more of a starter beard these days, no time for trimming. It didnât bother you. The salt-n-pepper hair felt good when scratching against the right patches of skin.Â
There were so many things about your archer that you could admire in that regard all day if you ever had the chance.Â
The obvious one being his cock. You couldnât say it was the biggest youâd ever seen but it was definitely to be admired. The first time, back on the Greene farm, heâd pushed into you and youâd nearly came from the stretch alone. It wasnât just about size though. The man knew how to use it to make you come apart over and over. It always made you want to giggle when you would think back to how socially stunted he had been one day and then the next, he was fucking you stupid over Hershelâs porch railing.Â
His hair was so long now, the waves taking off a few inches. It was well onto his back when wet. You could still remember when it was barely over his eyes. You had loved it then too. But now, when you would bathe together, youâd have him sit in front of you so you could wash it for him. Youâd always end up playing with it; braiding it or carding your fingers through it. However, the best thing was how it clung to his face and neck when he was sweaty after a thorough fucking. Youâd push it off of his face, letting your fingers catch on the tangles as you kissed him.Â
His hands were so much bigger than yours. On the few lazy mornings you were granted, when Carol would get the kids to school for you, youâd just lie there and hold your hands together. With your palm flat against his, he could bend his fingers over the tops of your own. It was easy to imagine his thick fingers inside of you. He had sent you tumbling into oblivion plenty of times with only one curling within your walls. Those hands didnât just hold weapons; they worked magic, too.Â
But it was the manâs shoulders that did you in. All that lean muscle that contracted and moved as he lifted and tugged at things to pack. Youâd never admit it, but the nights alone in his absence, it was the thought of your legs over those broad shoulders and his face buried in your cunt that brought you to completion over and over.Â
You really needed to hide any of his shirts that werenât tank tops.Â
Who wouldâve thought that out of any part of that man, the one that would make you almost instantly wet was his âshouldersââ
âWhat?âÂ
You shook your head and looked around a bit wildly until you found his gaze and locked on. âHmm?âÂ
âWhat âbout my shoulders?â He asked as you lifted another strawberry toward your lips. His question had you fumbling the fruit, catching it at the last second before it could fall to the floor.Â
You laughed nervously. âShoulders? What? I didnât sayââ you stuffed the entire berry into your mouth to stop your embarrassing rambling. Hopefully, heâd just let it go and keep packing.Â
That hope went careening out the window when he looked down at his right shoulder and then back at you, a smirk on his face and a twinkle in his eye.Â
âNah, ya definitely said somethinâ âbout shoulders.â He sat the canteen he had been about to fill next to the sink and started walking toward you. âStill got my hearinâ, Sunshine.â
You felt heat pooling in your cheeks andâŠother places when he leaned into your space, a hand braced on either side of your hips. The strawberry was swallowed down with an audible gulp.Â
âI, uh, like your shoulders.â You whispered. Daryl laughed in the form of an exhale and leaned in closer, his lips coming to press against the side of your neck. Maintaining any sort of control was almost futile. âDaryl, you need to get packed.â You attempted to sway him but he simply hummed against your flesh.Â
âWhatcha thinkinâ, pretty girl?â
You groaned but leaned back your head to grant him more access. âA lot of things that are gonna make you late.â He didnât respond to that. Not verbally. He grabbed your hips and pulled your body to the edge of the countertop, your groin coming into contact with the evidence of his own arousal.Â
âYouâre right.â He rasped against your collarbone. With one roll of his hips, you both gasped from the friction. âI guess I should be gettinâ on with packinâ.â He rolled his hips again, growling against your jaw. âDârather have those legsâa yours over these shoulders.â
You whimpered and squirmed against him, mewling when the rough fabric of his jeans grazed against your sensitive core through your thin sleep shorts and panties. That voice of his always made you putty in his hands. âIâplease, Daryl.âÂ
âMâgonna give ya whatcha need, Sunshine.â He leaned back and tapped both of your biceps. âUp.â Your arms were immediately raised and your shirt pulled over and off. The cold air against your nipples had them hardening before Daryl could even touch you.Â
Your small hands found his shoulders, gripping tight while he worshiped your breasts with mouth and hands. The skin of his palms was rough and calloused but that alone brought you so much pleasure. He cupped your left breast, kneading the soft mound and pinching your nipple while circling his tongue over its twin. You had never been so sensitive to a manâs touch in your life, but Daryl could play your body like an instrument.Â
He pulled off of your breast with a wet pop and searched out your lips, his tongue pressing through to tangle with your own.Â
âLay back.â He ordered against your mouth. You did as you were told, only slightly embarrassed by how you knew your wetness was showing through your shorts. Of course, that was the first thing he noticed when he took a step back. âSo wet for me anâ Iâve barely touched ya.â His thumb pressed into your clothed opening and trekked upward, earning a few panted moans and a raise of your hips.Â
He continued past your pussy until he reached the waistband and turned his hand to dip his fingers underneath it. Joined by his other, he pulled your shorts and panties off in slow movements, letting them fall onto the floor.Â
His large hands pressed into your inner thighs to open you up so wide that it bordered painful. All you could do was bite your lip and watch him. His tongue creeped across his bottom lip, and you shivered.Â
âPrettiest pussy there ever was.â He commented absently, releasing one of your legs so he could slide his index finger up and down your slick lips. He was rewarded with a needy whine and the sight of you clenching around nothing. With a smirk, he moved his finger straight to his mouth, not pushing it past his lips until you opened your eyes. âSweet lilâ thing too.â
âDaryl.â You whined. You both knew you werenât above begging. It was only a matter of whether or not he wanted to hear it this time.Â
âI gotcha, Sunshine. Gonna make ya feel real good, okay?â
You had zero doubt about that.Â
âSit up for me.âÂ
You planted your palms on the counter and came up to meet him, wrapping your hand around the back of his neck to drag him in for a kiss. He chuckled, a sound you adored, and pulled away from you to sink to one knee. A sweet kiss was pressed into your left thigh and then he was looking up at you. Oh, you were burning that sight into your memory for later. He placed his hands beneath your knees and stilled, smirking.Â
âYouâre gonna need to hold on, pretty thing.â
You gave him a quizzical look but then he pulled you forward, his face diving into your waiting cunt as his hands quickly moved to your ass. You had just enough time to twist your fingers in his hair before he was rising from the floor.Â
âOh, fuck.â You yelped, not just at the sensation of his tongue breaching your opening, but also at being six feet off the ground. How the man knew where to walk was anyoneâs guess but his steps were sure. Your back pressed against the wall beside the refrigerator, giving him a little leverage to really work at your pussy in earnest.Â
The initial shock had worn off, now replaced by the sensations his mouth was causing and the absolute thrill of legitimately being perched on those fucking shoulders while he devoured you like a man starved.Â
âFuck, that feels good.â You praised, fisting one hand in his hair while the other came up to palm the wall beside your head. He knew exactly what he was doing in every sense at that moment. You could feel the tense muscle below your thighs. His tongue delving deep inside your fluttering walls. His nose rubbing against your rapidly swelling clit. His beard scraping your overheated flesh.Â
A new wave of arousal seeped out of you and he groaned, happily lapping it up with sounds that definitely did not belong in a kitchen. The cord inside you was heating up, coiling tighter and tighter in your belly, an absolutely delicious feeling of both tension and ecstasy building and yearning just below the skin.Â
When he slid his tongue up through your wetness to flick at your clit, you almost couldnât stand it; desperate to cum and hear him cooing praises after he drank every drop, but also wanting to savor the delectable journey toward an inevitable mind blowing orgasm that would likely leave you unable to speak anything but his name.Â
âFuck, oh, right there!â You slapped your palm once against the wall with a long, wanton moan. You wanted to grind against his face, aid in coaxing your high out of you, but he seemed to know exactly what you were thinking. His grip on your ass tightened and he pressed face even closer to you, lips encircling your bundle of nerves to suck at it while his tongue worked it from inside his mouth. âGoddamn, Daryl! Fuck!â
He went back to kitten licks, tilting his head down so his nose continued to press at your pulsing nub while he slurped up any new arousal that had dripped out of your entrance.
He was killing you. And you loved it.Â
Daryl Dixon may have been called many things in his life, but absolute destroyer of pussy needed to be added to that list. When he wasnât sucking your ability to think right out of your clit, maybe you could remember to call him that in front of one of your friends.Â
âFuck.â You felt like you could almost cry, your orgasm not just creeping closer but sprinting. âDaryl, IâmâIâm gonna cum.â He gave your ass a hard squeeze, his way of demanding you let go.Â
It was gradual, a pins and needles sensation that started from where his lips pulled tightly on your clit and spread out through your limbs, causing them to begin trembling. Then it was all at once, a wave of pleasure hit you so hard that you jerked and the back of your head hit the wall while your hands pulled roughly on his hair. There were a few moments unaccounted for, your vision overtaken by darkness and stars and the distant sounds of your own screams of his name.Â
When you came back to yourself, your arms were dangling uselessly. You were panting while your body spasmed through the last pulses of your high. And Daryl was eagerly lapping up every drop.Â
Once you were completely spent, you felt one of his large hands slid up to brace the small of your back while the other lifted one of your legs from his shoulder. He switched, gripping just above your hip on that side to keep you from falling while he moved your other leg. Then you were sliding down until he stopped you just in front of his face, his lips readily pressing against yours.Â
You could taste yourself on his tongue, feel your own wetness smearing across your face from where it had gathered on his beard. The kiss itself was sweet and lazy and loving, whispered praises between each press of his lips. Your feet slowly touched the floor and his hands came up to cradle your face.Â
You wanted to melt against him and beg him not to leave you. To clean you up and take you to bed so you could surprise you both by climbing above him and riding him until he filled you over and over. That fantasy had you reaching to cup him through his pants, feeling the straining hardness for only a moment before he gently grabbed your wrist.Â
âLetâs take a bath anâ getcha cleaned up anâ ready for bed.â
You pulled back, frowning in confusion. âDonât you have to leave?â You felt your heart spin when he gave you the sweetest smile; the one he gave to only you.Â
âNah, need to be here.â He tucked your hair behind your ear, one side and then the other, before gently cupping your chin and kissing you. âThey can send someone else.â
âYou mean it?â You asked, eyes sparkling with more hope than you meant to reveal.Â
âNah, lemme go anâ finish packinâ.â He started to turn away but you caught one of those beautiful shoulders to easily spin him back to you. He deflected your attempt to smack him by ducking and hoisting you up over the very same shoulder you had grabbed. âYouâre stuck with me.âÂ
âOh, woe is me!â You laughed, kicking your legs to get out of his hold. You didnât even remember you were still naked until he gave your ass a gentle smack as he walked up the stairs. Once at the top, you wiggled forward so you could reach and slap his ass one good time. âHey, if thatâs what happens when I say your shoulders are sexy, what would you do if I said you have a nice ass?âÂ
He barked out a laugh that you didnât hear often enough and used the heel of his boot to kick the door closed.Â

TMNT Headcanon: Owning a Business
I was inspired by @thelaundrybitch with her post about the turtles having jobs so this is my version.
If the turtles managed to successfully integrate themselves into society, I could see each one owning their own business. These jobs are based on an RP that Iâm in with a friend of mine. The idea is that Donnie had invented cloaking devices to allow them appear human and also had gained a sizeable income by marketing and selling his inventions.
No TW needed for this
Mikey
Easily the owner of his very own comic book store.
He has to learn how to run it though.
Heâd be determined to learn, he may act scatterbrained but when he really applies himself, watch out.
Donnie canât watch his little brother fail in this endeavor and gives him a crash course on how to run a small business.
Once he has the basics figured out, he loves it. Heâs finally around likeminded people and he can finally put his geek knowledge to good use!
Heâd give the best comic book recommendations, having read as many as he could get his hands on.
There would also be a table section for TTRPGs and card games.
The store would become a popular hangout for Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.
Mikey would schedule themed days where people could dress up as their favourite characters for discounts.
Heâd host live action role-playing events, board game nights, trivia contests and movie nights.
He would thoroughly let his geek flag fly and his store would be his pride and joy.
Raphael
Runs a motorcycle repair shop that also deals in custom paint jobs.
Co-owner with Casey Jones.
Raph has always loved fixing up and working with his bikes so this is an easy choice for him.
Casey still does vigilante stuff on the side but April is very relieved when he goes into this partnership with Raph.
Itâs Caseyâs idea to add the customization of bikes alongside the repairs.
The two of them do butt heads initially while learning how to run it but once they have it down they become a good team.
Difficult customers have no chance when dealing with these two.
Shortchanged? Have fun getting your bike back.
"You couldâve fixed it better? Be my guest and donât come back, asshole."
"Yeah, we can get the part, no we aintât gettinâ it from your shady buddyâs backyard business."
Besides the odd jerk-off customer, Raph thoroughly enjoys his work.
He also uses the garage to work on his own custom bikes. Occasionally heâll sell them and it becomes hugely popular.
Eventually he starts auctioning them off and donating a part of the proceeds to charity.
Heâll take a lot of pride in his work and finds he really enjoys making an honest living.
Heâll still do patrols with his brothers and keep up with his training.
Leonardo
Owner and Sensei of The Green Dragon Dojo.
This just made perfect sense for Leo. He loved training and all things martial arts so why not pass on his skills to those who wanted to learn.
He teaches adults and children alike.
He secretly prefers teaching the little ones though.
He loves their eagerness to learn and how they call him âSensei Leoâ.
He does end up creating a small team to do martial arts competitions.
His students almost always win.
His classes become so popular that Leo finds he needs to hire more help.
In my headcanon heâs made peace with Karai and The Foot Clan and decides to go to them.
Karai is very pleased heâs asking for her help and agrees to teach classes alongside him.
Leo still leads his brothers in patrols but is more relaxed than he used to be, due in part from getting older and now having an outlet to teach.
Donatello
Donnie creates his own company.
Owner and CEO of Hamato Tech.
It has a research lab with a whole section dedicated to his inventions.
Heâs dedicated to the betterment of mankind and creates patents for all of his inventions.
He finally has the resources and funding needed to complete his many projects.
Super nice guy to work for, loved by all of his employees.
He accepts students for paid internships.
He has a preference for underprivileged students. The ones that wouldn't normally receive this kind of opportunity.
He wants to give keen young minds the opportunities he never had while growing up.
It would take many years but he would eventually have a huge discovery that would result in him getting nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Heâd win it too.
@iridescentflamingo
@thelaundrybitch
@danceingfae
@redsrooftopprincess (I hope this is okay, I know you agreed to put me on your list so I thought I'd return the favour)
@adebauchedsloth
@thepinkpanther83
Please let me know if you'd like to be added to the taglist!

Hey Leona, Azul, and Riddle! (Self-aware AU)
What's your favorite event that your nation/country does to celebrate the overseer, like do they do anything specific you enjoy?
Riddle: "My favourite holiday celebrating her majesty? I think it might be the rose parade. One whole week, everyone gathers and prepares a huge festival for their grace. At the end, a parade happens. To be fair, I might be biased since that part of the festivities was the only one my mother allowed me to partake and that also under the guise of learning. Apparently, the formation is one of the card soldiers during the Queen of Hearts rule. Originally, it was a demonstration of power, but nowadays it's more of a celebration than a demonstration of power."
Leona: "Why are you asking me that? It's not like it's important."
*You continue to stare at Leona until he opens his eyes unnerved*
Leona: "Allright. Allright. Enough already. Since Sunset Savannah is a lot less... zealous about them, we don't have many celebrations with them in mind. However, there is one. It doesn't have a name and is more of a tradition. The first week of drought, the higher ranked provide fully for the poor. If you ask me, that should be the norm. How it came to be? Apparently, when the hyenas first came into our lands, the high ranking nobles provided for them by hunting not only for themselves. Otherwise, not much is known. We know that something went wrong along the way and it got reduced to that week but for all I know, this could also be an excuse for people in higher positions to avoid their duty."
Azul: "Annual day of studies. It's not a big celebration in the sense of how it would usually be done but rather a group activity. Children in school that day learn less about our modern studies but rather those back when the sea witch was still alive. Many things have already been forgotten and had it not been for a book found in the corner of an old study, I would also have not been able to walk on land. You see, the potion I use to maintain my legs was derived from the magic taught in it. But where were we? Ah yes, the festival. Adults have, of course, their own version of it. Mostly it's about repeating old knowledge but the great scholar had also encouraged us to reach greater wisdom. This leads to many "new" discoveries in the field of magic. Sometimes you just need to go back to the roots..."
*You meet Floyd later. He tells you how proud Azul always was when the other children couldn't keep up with him and his knowledge about the overseer*

PAC: What hidden talent do you have?
Hello with another pick a card reading, this time on the topic of ''get to know yourself better''.
This time the idea is to look into what talent of yours you are not fully aware off and could tap into and develop in the future.
By definition this might not be at the core of your personality since it is hidden, but maybe that's something you will tap into later in life. So I hope it's useful to you in some way!
How does that work?
Take a moment to recollect yourself, breathe, close your eyes if you need to, focus on the moment. Look at the 4 pictures and select the one that draws you in the most. Not the one you think looks cooler but the one that creates that pinching feeling inside of you. The one that makes you feel it has something to say.
It is possible to feel attracted to more than one pile, just as it is possible to only find parts of the reading relevant. Remember that this reading is meant for many people so it won't be perfectly applicable to your situation.
PILE 1
Cards: The Nectar + The King (archetype) + 4 of Swords Rx + Empress Rx + Strength + The Hierophant + King of Cups Rx + the Protectress + The forbidden forest + yin and yang; 2 of Swords + 4 and 6 of Wands; Priestess Magician
There is definitely the idea of a latent, untapped ability.
To me it has to do with healing, as in, the ability to help people through their recovery process and put them on track to bloom and be abundant again. To remove barriers to healing.
The fact that it has to do with remediating what is poisonous for the person, transmuting something toxic into something positive, makes me think it has to do with magical or energetic healing.
Perhaps you will use your words like a fire-talker (not sure it's the right way to translate but "coupeur de feu" in the orginal french term as in those who can heal burns by talking fire out, among other things), or work on removing magical thorns with your healing touch. I'm getting strong hand imagery and holy words may be significant as well as carrier for background movements in the spiritual realms.
I'm getting you will be or are guided to do this by higher powers with this ability that can help others tremendously, somewhat relaying these healing powers into the world. Like a bridge between the healing spirits and our world, putting healing energy in motion.
There is the idea of a position of authority that must be embraced with humility, respect and reverence, in order to restore the flow and clarity of health, working in tandem with powers from the realms beyond and by learning to develop your own power and ability for leadership whilst staying true to yourself.
You have this undeveloped ability of perceiving the higher realms, harness their energies and transmute them into something not only healing, but also protecting for others.
You would need to go on your own healing journey to gather the missing parts of yourself (individuation process is another way to look at it) and rectify what is unbalanced to find a wholeness that will allow you to carry this energy over to others. I'm really getting that it's not just about picking up a skill but really going through a process yourself in order to reach that step and that's why you haven't reached it yet. With also the idea of learning to listen to guidance and understand your bond to these higher powers more, and let yourself be guided on that path.
I wanted to see if there was another message that wanted to come out and I saw that while this ability is not currently active, and even blocked by your current circumstances, there would be great success gained from going through this journey towards that path. It's a call that you have the option to answer and are encouraged to do so with the support of your spirits and god(s) and that would be a source of celebration and achievements.
PILE 2
Cards: The Fool and Fear and Happiness + 7 of Cups Rx + Queen of Cups and 4 of Cups + The Magician Rx + Queen of Pentacles + 7 of Pentacles Rx
Your hidden talent has to do with performance arts, perhaps theater or dance, with the use of your body alongside your voice. You can pretend to be someone else again and again, endorsing different roles on different days and creating this artificial image for others to see.
You have the hidden ability to perform emotions so that it can be reflected in the heart of the audience. For example, expressing sadness or joy, the whole palette of emotions, and having that be felt by those who watch you. Relieving people in the lights of the stage.
I don't think it is about showing who you truly are but rather as I said, endorsing different identities and expressing something universal through that. You might not always feel passionate about what you are expressing, what role or piece you are given, but that's the nature of the craft. And in some way it allows yourself to explore your own thoughts and emotions by shifting perspectives, so it can be healing for yourself as well if you allow it to be.
By creating an artificial space for exploration of thoughts and emotions through your craft, you can shift people's emotional state and help them let go of what worries of preoccupies them. It is cathartic and the healing aspect of the arts. Ever watched a movie, cried for a while because it reminded you of something and felt lighter in the end? That's what you can give to people: freeing them of themselves for a short while. Allowing them a break from their own lives.
It's a trickery of some sorts, but the good kind of trickery because it is part of the game and the reason why people would come to you. It is to be willingly taken on adventure.
There is also a highly democratic aspect of your craft, as in, in front of performance in the audience, everyone watches the same things, react to the same things, rich and poor, good and bad. You help people bond together by lowering the boundaries that separate us all for a while.
In any case it is a raw talent, as in, you're very much at the apprentice level at the moment. You would need to work on it consciously, nurture this talent to let it grow and harvest its rewards later on. If that reading resonates with you I think that would be a good thing to practice on a hobby level for the pure enjoyment and personal fulfillment of it, rather than in order to make money from it.
PILE 3
Cards: The King, Protect your feelings, Knight of Swords Rx, 9 of Wands + King of Cups, Reflection Rx + 4 of Wands Rx, Renewal Rx + 8 of Swords Rx, Courage + 5 of Cups, Gloom Rx + 10 of Cups + The World + Intuition Rx, Sorrow Rx
Your hidden talent is to embody some of the noble qualities of the King, especially being a protector of the weak. You have the ability to stand up for what is right when facing a menacing majority and would step up to fight to defend what you believe in. You may have a tendency to be rash and impulsive when faced with something that doesn't sit right with you, because you want to confront that and rectify the wrongs committed. You will not take a defeat and will get back up again.
Your quality associated to that talent is that you are full of compassion and look at others with empathy because you have a great understanding of human nature and suffering, and you have a desire to protect that. You are devoted to help people and this helps balance the harshness of you combative spirit.
The caveat is that you might feel like it's a lost battle, or at least that you won't personally see the end of it in your lifetime. You feel like you're doing you won't be the one in the parade at the end of the battle because you will be long gone. What you don't see is that you can still help others in the present.
What you can give others with this talent is that your bravery is infectious. You lift them up, give them courage and they can free themselves in the moment. With you by their side they feel so much stronger.
And when faced with a loss, you are, again, here to help people grieve and be a shoulder to cry on, listening to their pain with empathy, which helps them tremendously.
And for the reason why it is hidden, I think the need just hasn't arisen at this stage of your life. You will need to reach a form of completion and to move on from the idea that things are perfect to the desire to put things in motion again and start a new chapter. A content heart doesn't strive for change.
PILE 4
Cards: Aletheia, Wheel of Fortune Rx + The Moon Rx + 9 of Swords Rx + Queen of Cups + The Empress + Justice
You hidden talent is the ability to speak the truth on what's hidden and trigger changes for those you bring the news to. I see you being able to detect lies easily. It can trigger fears in others because they might not want to see what you reveal.
You are able to see through the confusion and pierce through the illusion, and thus, bring vitality back where there was just fog and stagnation. It might make you feel a bit lonely and isolated at times due to feeling misunderstood. I don't think you have come to term with that talent yet so you may fail to see the good in it.
Because your strong intuitive gift of being able to see your emotions so clearly can bring a lot of healing and clarity to people, especially if you wield it with kindness and compassion. You may get back a lot of love and consideration from helping others.
Because you can help people release who takes advantage of them by shining light on their lies, especially if they are over-dependant and attached to this person or situation.
As to why it is hidden, you may not believe that you deserve to speak up and that you have the right to do so and would feel like you're being manipulative when it doesn't have to be the case.

WALTZ INTO THE HEART
SYNOPSIS: fate seems to keep bringing fontaineâs most famed magician into your life, even when you swore youâd never fall in love again. but when you see how he handles your daughter and how her eyes light up with joy whenever heâs around, you cave and allow him into your heart.
PAIRING: lyney x single mother!reader
TAGLIST ! @pixelcafe-network @wystiix
warnings: mentions of teen (19) pregnancy, hurt/comfort, family issues, mc has a mom bod, suggestive comments
wc: 6k
notes: feeding the lyney enjoyers (yona). i started this literal months ago and im so glad itâs finally finished and out of the way. i had sm fun writing the last few scenes! anyw i hope u guys enjoy!
As a performer on the streets of Fontaine, Lyney was more than familiar with the fact that his tricks were more popular with young children.Â
Their eyes would light up in childlike awe as they watched him closely, trying to find a flaw in his tricks that they could call him out on while simultaneously wondering how the trick was even performed in the first place.Â
He was no stranger to their yells, begging him to do it again so they could watch his every little movement and find that flaw. But Lyney was perfect at hiding the secrets behind his magic. Years of practice led him up to this moment.Â
He was also no stranger to kids who had run off from their parents to look for him. Many, many times children have come up to him and asked him to do a trick for them, their parents arriving about ten minutes later, out of breath and a frown on their lips as they berated their children for suddenly running off.Â
Today was no different.Â
He stood in the center plaza of the city, underneath the hydro-powered machine that made an eerie whirring noise if you stood too close.Â
He ended his last trick of the night by telling a small boy to touch the back of his ear. The boy did so, flipping it over to show the contents: an ace of spades.Â
âIs that your card?â Lyney questioned with a smile, watching as the boyâs face lit up with joy.Â
âWow!!â The kid exclaimed excitedly. âIt is! Howâd you do that, Mr. Lyney!?âÂ
Lyney took the card from the boyâs hands and tossed it into his hat before placing his hat back onto his head. The hat rocked side to side vigorously as a star shaped eye of a grinmalkin cat peeked out from underneath.Â
âShoo!âÂ
Lyney gently brushed the cat away. In a flurry of confetti, the cat disappeared back under the hat, letting out a tiny purr that sounded like a rebuttal. With a sigh, Lyney shook his head. The kids that were gathered around him laughed at the interaction.Â
He opened his eyes and knelt down so that he was eye level with all of them. He winked and placed a finger over his lips. âA magician never reveals their secrets! After all, itâs not really magic if you know how itâs done!âÂ
Disappointed âawwâs fell from the childrenâs mouths, though they werenât seriously saddened. They perked up at the sounds of their parentsâ voices, rushing over to them and grabbing their hands as they recited the events of the mini magic show.Â
A fond smile graced Lyneyâs lips as he waved goodbye to the children and their parents. This was what he loved most about his job: bringing smiles to everyoneâs faces.Â
âThere you are, brother.âÂ
The soft voice of his sister ripped him from his thoughts. She walked up to him slowly, tiredness reflecting in her purple eyes as she sent him a small smile. âShould we get dinner?âÂ
Lyney shook his head. âI think Freminet is cooking seafood soup tonight, so we should wait until we get back to the House. Besides, Father is coming home tonight. We should be there to welcome her home.âÂ
A frown erupted onto Lynetteâs face at the mention of waiting. A complaint was ready on her lips, when a small voice called out to Lyney from ten feet away. He abruptly turned, watching as a little girl wearing a sky blue dress ran towards him with a beaming smile on her face.Â
âMr. Lyney!âÂ
He replaced his frown with a polite smile and knelt down, placing an arm on his knee. âWell hello there! What can I do for you?âÂ
The girl suddenly grew nervous. She shyly played with the ends of her dress, averting her gaze to the ground as she muttered out a response. âI was watching your magic show, but I was too scared to come closerâŠâÂ
Lyney raised a brow in concern. âOh? Why is that?âÂ
âB-Because there were tons of people!âÂ
In reality, there had only been about eight kids and five adults, but kids were known to greatly exaggerate situations. He gave her a kind smile as she anxiously looked up at him once more. He placed a hand on her head.Â
âI understand what itâs like to be nervous in a crowd of strangers. In fact, I have stage fright.âÂ
âHe does.â Lynette confirmed, a small smirk pulling at her lips as Lyney sent her a fleeting glare.Â
The little girlâs eyes widened in shock. âYou do?âÂ
With a nod, Lyney hummed. âYep, I do. Sometimes I have to perform in front of crowds ten times bigger than the one you saw. It can be scary, but with my sister by my side, all that fear goes away.âÂ
âReally?â With another nod, Lyney hummed. The little girlâs eyes flickered to Lynette, before they rested on the ground again. âBut I donât have a sisterâŠâÂ
âThatâs alright. There are other ways you can counteract your anxiety. Like⊠Oh! You can try talking to the other kids. Iâm sure theyâd love to be friends with you!âÂ
The little girl bit her lip nervously. She sure was shy. It was silent for a few moments. Lyney opened his mouth to speak, when the girl suddenly grabbed onto his hand. âCan youââÂ
âLilia!â A feminine voice called, attracting the attention of the young girl standing in front of Lyney.Â
You were completely out of breath as you came to a stop in front of the two magicians. Immediately, you focused your attention on your five year old daughter, who had run off on you a half hour ago.Â
âLilia, I was looking everywhere for you!â The concern in your tone and your expression made the weight of your scolding feel extremely light. âIf you go running off on me again like that, young lady, you wonât be able to go to that magic show I got us tickets to.âÂ
âBut mommy!â She whined, tugging on the sleeves of your blouse.Â
You looked up from her to turn to the two magicians who were watching the scene with amused looks in their eyes. You stood up and apologized. âIâm sorry, Mr. Lyney, Ms. Lynette. I hope she wasnât too much of a hassle. She has a lot of energy.â You couldnât hide your smile as you looked down at your daughter.Â
There was no way you could stay mad at her for long. Though, you were serious when you said you wouldnât let her go to that magic show if she kept disobeying you.Â
You gently ran your fingers through your daughterâs hair as Lyney smiled. âIt was no trouble at all!âÂ
He took off his hat. âI believe I left something in here,â he muttered, his nose scrunching up as his hand rummaged around in his hat. His face lit up a moment later. âAha! Got it!âÂ
With a flourish, and a sudden burst of confetti, he pulled a beautiful bouquet of rainbow roses out of his hat and bowed as he held it out towards you.Â
âRainbow roses as beautiful as the lady standing before my very eyes. How enchanting you are, ma cherie.âÂ
The sudden gesture was extremely flattering. You havenât been openly hit on in quite a while. It had nothing to do with your looks or your age, but rather, the fact that you had a daughter. You were still youngâ twenty-four âso it was quite the shocker when you mentioned to other people that you had a daughter.Â
Not many were willing to date someone who already had a child. It was hard to find someone who was, which eventually made you give up. You came to terms with being single, and told yourself it was better that wayâ that your household was better with just you and your little carbon copy.Â
Lyneyâs eyes were expressive and sly. Underneath his charm, there was a clear nervousness. He fidgeted in his spot, waiting with bated breath to see if youâd really take the bouquet from his hands.
A new, panicked thought ran through his head. You had a daughter⊠Did that mean you were married too!?Â
Uh oh, he thought, swallowing the lump in his throat, did I overstep?Â
He breathed a long silent sigh of relief when you took the bouquet, your fingers brushing over his gloved ones. The smile on your face was one of pure happiness, albeit a bit bashful. Eagerly, you brought the roses up to your nose. They were fresh, as if they had been picked just that day.Â
âThank you,â you said wholeheartedly, âthese are gorgeous. Weâll put them in our windowsill for the whole neighborhood to see. Right, Lilia?âÂ
You sent your daughter a smile, to which she returned with a big one of her own.
A week later, you were attending Lyneyâs magic show with your daughter and your best friend, Erika. The show ran smoothly and was absolutely flawless. You couldnât keep your eyes off of them for one second. Even after the show, you sat in awe, wondering just how in the world those tricks were performed.Â
Erika stood up from her seat, stretching her arms above her head. She sighed in relief as she lowered her arms back to her sides and grabbed her purse.Â
âThat show was amazing! I think my favorite was that last trick with the knivesâŠâ she rambled, âShit, I have to go to the bathroom. Do you guys need to go?â
You sent her a small glare. You told her countless times not to use curse words in front of your daughter, yet she kept forgetting. Thanks to her, your daughter would blurt them out at random moments, causing you to scold her. Erika would apologize profusely every time it happened when she was present.Â
Shaking your head, you turned to Lilia. âDo you need to go, sweetie?âÂ
She nodded, already searching for your hand. Erika picked her up with ease. âI can take her, since you donât have to go. Just wait for us by the Fountain of Lucine. We shouldnât be long, right Lily?âÂ
Erika was great with kids. On days that you needed a babysitter, she jumped at the opportunity. She was fun, loving, and an overall joy to be around. She lit up every room she entered, and she knew how to handle your rascal of a daughter. You were more than thankful for not only her help, but her friendship.Â
The two of you have been friends ever since you were children. She was the lively, extroverted class clown that loved to be friends with everyone, while you were the quiet, shy kid that preferred to keep to herself in the back of the classroom. The two of you were polar opposites, yet as soon as she laid her eyes on you and asked to be friends, you were inseparable.Â
Years later, nothing changed. The two of you were still the same as you once were. In a way, that felt comforting.Â
She bid you a quick goodbye as she raced off to the bathrooms with Lilia in her arms. You slung your purse over your shoulder and began to head towards the exit, running your fingers over the playbill in your hand. You would put this one right next to all the others you had on your bedroom wall.Â
Lost in your thoughts, you failed to notice someone walking towards you. It wasnât until you heard their voice that you looked up.Â
âLooks like fate wishes for us to meet again, ma cherie!âÂ
You couldnât help the wide smile that pulled at your lips. âMr. Lyney! Your show was magnificent!âÂ
Not expecting such high praise, the man laughed softly, his cheeks a rosy red. âT-Thank you!âÂ
He didnât know what else to say. Usually, he was adept at making conversation. He had no problem charming his way into the hearts of others, yet whenever he saw you, his words seemed to fail him.Â
He cleared his throat. âMay I walk you out?â He offered up his arm, which you took almost instantly.Â
Your smile never wavered as you linked your arm with his. âLilia loves magic,â you began, admiring the architecture and decor in the opera house, âshe always tells me how she wants to be a magician someday too⊠or a mage in a mountainside cottage with a cat familiar.âÂ
Lyney listened closely, a small chuckle leaving his lips. âSounds imaginative.âÂ
âIt is,â you agreed, âIâve always nurtured that imagination of hers, and Iâll continue to do so. Children need to be creative and have lots of imagination. Thatâs something my own mother could not understand.âÂ
âI want her to know that itâs okay to be more into fantasy things like becoming a mage and living in a cottage, because I know itâs possible. If she sets her heart on that, then sheâll achieve it. I have full faith in her.âÂ
âYouâre a good mother.â Lyney said after a few moments of silence; and he meant it. Another round of silence passed between you as he gathered the courage to ask the question thatâs been on his mind ever since he met you a week ago.Â
âIs her father in the picture?â He looked down at your left hand, only to see no ring in sight.
You shook your head with a frown. âNo. He never was. He didnât even know about her. We broke up before I found out I was pregnant. But itâs alright, because she has me, and she has her aunt, and thatâs all she needs.âÂ
Lyney hummed. âSounds like a quaint little family.âÂ
âWe are.â You smiled and let out a sigh as you spotted Erika and Lilia waiting by the Fountain of Lucine.Â
Erika noticed you first. Her mouth opened as if she was about to call for you, before her eyes landed on Lyney. A knowing smirk pulled at her lips, and she sent you a wink before turning to distract Lilia.Â
Your eye twitched, though you found you didnât mind her actions. It left you with more time to talk to Lyney.Â
âAre you perhaps free this week?â Lyney questioned, a hint of nervousness in his tone.Â
You turned to face him. âWell, it depends on the day, but I should be. Fridays tend to be my most free days.âÂ
You worked at a small cafe in the city three times a week. It wasnât the best in hours, but the pay was great. It was a step up from your last job, at least.Â
A mischievous glint sparkled in Lyneyâs eyes. He slipped his arm from yours and brought your hand to his lips, placing a soft kiss on the back of your hand. âThen I shall see you on Friday at Hotel Debord,â he winked, âItâs a date.âÂ
You stared after him with your mouth open like a loser, completely taken aback by his forwardness. When you regrouped with Erika and Lilia, your best friend was hounding you with question after question.Â
âSo? Whatâd he say!?âÂ
âI donât know why you think something happened, we were just talking.â You tried to change the subject, feeling your face heat up in not only embarrassment, but because of the charming magician who caught your eye.Â
âLies!â Erika exclaimed, pointing a finger in your face. âI saw him kiss your hand! Thatâs not âjust talkingâ to me!âÂ
You slapped her finger out of your face. âAlright fine! He asked me out, so what?â You crossed your arms over your chest.Â
Erika squealed in delight, jumping up and down. She seemed to be more excited about this than you. You could feel your heartbeat race the more you thought about your upcoming date.Â
â(Name), Iâm so happy for you!â Erika shook your shoulders.
âHeâ I didnât want to be with someone anymore,â you said quietly, âI wasnât planning on it. I just wanted to continue with our little family.âÂ
Sensing your fear, Erika wrapped you up in a hug. âI know youâre scared to enter the dating scene again, but Lyney seems like a genuinely sweet guy. Heâs nothing like he who must not be named. Iâll be here with you every step of the way, okay? Iâm right here, like Iâve always been.âÂ
You hugged her back tightly, shoving your face into her shoulder. âWhat if heâs not good with Lilia? What if she doesnât like him?âÂ
Erika squeezed you. âAre you joking?â she laughed, âdo you hear yourself? Weâre talking about a man who mostly performs magic shows for children. Have you seen the way he interacts with them? Dare I say that man is ready to have one of his own.âÂ
A laugh fell from your lips as you thought back to the day you met him. Him and his sister were entertaining your daughter. You could still remember the soft look in their eyes as they spoke with her.Â
âYouâre right,â you sighed and took hold of Liliaâs hand, âIâll give him a chance.âÂ
âThatâs the spirit! Letâs get ice cream to celebrate!â Erika shouted, throwing a fist into the air.Â
âIce cream!â Lilia giggled, copying Erikaâs actions.Â
You watched the two of them race to the aquabus and smiled fondly. âWhat am I going to do with you two?âÂ
The week went by smoothly, and with each day that passed, you grew more and more anxious for your date with Lyney. Of course, you were excited, but you were mostly nervous. You havenât been on a date in years, so you didnât know how this one would go. You hoped it would be much different from your last one.Â
The day before your date, you were working as usual. The sun was beginning to set over the Court of Fontaine, and you were counting down the minutes until youâd be able to clock out and head home to Lilia. You hummed the tune of the song that was currently playing on the cafeâs speakers, Le Souvenir avec le crepuscule, and watched the sky turn into a mix of pinks and oranges.Â
Sunsets in the Court of Fontaine were your favorite. Watching the sun fall over the high walls while the cafe played that old tune your grandmother used to sing to you made you feel as if you were living in a fairytale.Â
Someone cleared their throat, drawing you out of your stupor. You drew your attention to the customer standing before you. âApologies for the wait,â you said, âwhat can Iâ Oh! Miss Lynette!âÂ
Standing before you was Lyneyâs twin sister and assistant, Lynette. Although the bags under her eyes revealed her exhaustion, her violet eyes sparkled with excitement. She sent you a small, barely noticeable smile.Â
âYou can drop the formalities. Just Lynette is fine.â She assured you, waving a hand dismissively. âA coffee, please. Just a bit of creamer and one scoop of sugar.âÂ
You returned her smile and got to work. Humming along to the song on the speakers again, you could feel Lynetteâs eyes on you as you worked. It sent a shiver down your spine picturing her calculating gaze in your head.Â
Was there something else she wanted? Surely she wouldâve already asked for another thing off the menu if that was the case.Â
Out of nervousness, you fiddled with the lid to the cup as you brought it to the counter, accidentally spilling some of her hot coffee all over your hand. Crying out in pain, you dropped the cup and clutched your hand.Â
Lynette hopped behind the counter at your cry and guided you over to the sink. âTry not to panic.â She gently eased your hand under the faucet. âKeep your hand here for about twenty minutes and keep the water lukewarm.â She instructed, moving away from you.Â
Idiot! You scolded yourself. How could you embarrass yourself in front of his sister? And spill her order, of all things!
âDo you have any plant-based ointments at home?â She asked, turning to you with a brand new cup of coffee in her hand.Â
You pushed down the feeling of guilt and nodded. âYes. Lilia has gotten a few burns like this before after I told her not to touch the stove and she did so anyway.â You let out a sigh at the memory. At least she knew not to go and touch things that were hot ever again.Â
Lynette let out a soft laugh. âLyney did that once when we were kids, too. One of our older sisters was cooking, and without thinking, Lyney went up to the stove and grabbed the pot. He cried for a while, and our poor sister was blaming herself for it. Father had always told us not to go near the stove, yet he didnât listen.â
You let out a loud laugh. âEvery child learns. Even we adults learn simple lessons. Itâs a part of being human.âÂ
She hummed in agreement and turned off the faucet. âThank you for the coffee.â You opened your mouth to protest, when she sent you a sharp look. Understanding the message, you closed your mouth and nodded.Â
She let out a content sigh. âI sincerely hope your date with my brother goes well tomorrow.â Ah⊠So she heard word through the grapevine, did she? âI know he can be a bit much, but he means well. I think youâre just what he needs.âÂ
If she meant anything by those words, she didnât elaborate. Instead, she sent you one final smile and left the cafeâ not before abruptly stopping to turn around and give you one final message, âOh, and he asked me to tell you to wear something formal. Have fun.âÂ
Finding a formal outfit was harder than you initially thought. You couldnât remember the last time you owned a formal dress or dress suit, and the most âformalâ article of clothing you owned was the bridesmaid dress from a friendâs wedding and a sundress that Erika bought you for your birthday while you were still pregnant with Lilia.Â
You searched your closet high and lowâ tearing apart your entire room in the process âto look for anything formal. Yet, you came up empty, and you had approximately two hours before you had to be at Hotel Debord.Â
To say you were panicking was an understatement. Erikaâs younger sister offered to watch Lilia for you as you and Erika tried to come up with an alternative.Â
âI have a ton of formal dresses,â she said, âyou know, from all those parties my ex would drag me to? How about one of those?âÂ
You sent her a look. âErika, I would not be able to fit into those dresses even if I tried. I lost that ability after having Lilia.âÂ
âRight, umâŠâ She sent you an apologetic look and hummed in thought. She snapped her fingers. âHow about we ask that fashion designer? Chiori, I think? Iâm sure she could help!âÂ
âWe have two hours!â You yelled.Â
âIâm running out of ideas!â She yelled back defensively.
Now, you were in complete panic mode, pacing around your room with your hands covering your face. âWhat if I just call it offâŠâÂ
Erikaâs eyes widened. âNo! Are you kidding!? This is your first date in ages, donât you even dare think about calling it off!âÂ
She shot up from her spot on your bed and grabbed your shoulders, halting your movements. She squeezed you reassuringly, her expression sincere as she watched tears roll down your cheeks. âWeâll find something, okay? Iâm not about to give up, and you shouldnât either.âÂ
Bringing you into a tight hug, she revisited her earlier idea. âI have an idea. While Iâm gone, you doll yourself up, okay? I shouldnât be too long.â She grabbed her purse and placed a kiss on your cheek.Â
âDonât worry!â She pointed a finger at you from the doorway. âErikaâs on the case!âÂ
With a flourish, she slammed the door.Â
Finding Lynette was easy. She was occupying a table at the same cafe you worked at, sipping idly on a cup of tea.Â
âMiss Lynette!â Erika called, waving a hand in the air as she approached the rather unsociable magician. âDo you have a moment?âÂ
Lynette sighed disinterestedly. âIf you have work related inquiries, please ask Lyney. If you have questions related to seeing a magic show, please ask the ticket office.âÂ
Erika sat down in the seat next to Lynette. âThis isnât about either. This is about (Name).âÂ
Lynetteâs ears perked up at the mention of your name. âHas something happened?âÂ
âNot any medical emergencies!â Erika assured. âItâs just⊠she realized she didnât have a formal outfit for tonight, and she canât exactly wear any of my dresses. I was hoping you could pull some strings and get us in with Chiori.â
With another sigh, Lynette opened her mouth. âPlease!â Erika quipped, folding her hands together. âI know itâs last minute, but please.âÂ
A few moments of silence passed. Lynette finished her tea and stood up. âAlright. Iâll try my best, but I canât guarantee anything.âÂ
You had just finished doing your hair when the front door to your apartment opened and you heard Erika animatedly talking, followed by two other voices.Â
There was a knock on your bedroom door, before Erika swung the door open and beamed at you. You were about to scold her for the intrusion, when the Chioriâ famous Inazuman fashion designer Chiori who you always wanted a dress from but you couldnât afford her services âwaltzed in behind her.Â
She cringed at the ransacked room. âUgh, this place looks awful. Did the Gardes run through here?â She clicked her tongue and turned to you. âStand up, weâre running onâ how long again?âÂ
âAn hour.â Erika answered, throwing her purse elsewhere and beginning to clean up your room.Â
Lynette entered a moment later, carrying three large boxes. As Erika quickly shoved everything off your bed, Lynette placed the boxes down and opened them.Â
Chiori grabbed hold of you and pulled you up from your vanity chair. âDo you mind taking the robe off for me? I need to take your measurements.âÂ
You did as told and placed your robe on the back of your vanity chair, allowing Chiori to quickly gather your measurements. She hummed in thought, turning to the three boxes sitting on your bed.Â
âI brought three sizes. Your usual, a size up, and a size down.â She rummaged through the middle box, pulling out a navy blue dress. âTry this on.âÂ
She circled you, her eyes calculating as you slipped into the dress and Erika zipped it up in the back. It was flowy, like a ballgown, with a modest front.Â
Chiori made a face. âThis is atrocious on you. You need something elseâ something thatâll accentuate your figure and your chest. Strip.âÂ
She searched through the box on the right, pulling out a blood red dress and handing it to you. âHere. I think thisâll do just that.âÂ
This dress was a bit looser, but it was perfect. You could freely move your limbs and although it was form-fitting, you could still breathe properly. It cascaded down in a mermaid-like fashion, and there was a slit in the left side of the dress, revealing your thigh. There was lace on the top in a flowery pattern.Â
It wasnât the sort of dress youâd ever wear, but turning to look at yourself in your full length mirror, you gasped as you immediately fell in love with it.Â
Chiori smirked smugly. âNow this is perfect. Does the front feel okay?â She tugged at one of the thin straps and pushed the lace down in the front.Â
âNo, itâs⊠itâs perfect,â you said breathlessly, placing your hands on your hips. âAre we sure this is me?âÂ
Erika whistled. âDamn, Lyneyâs lucky. And that necklineâ your tits have never looked this great! Dare I say this is a baby-making dress, because heâs definitely gonna want to give you another after tonight.âÂ
You shoved her for that comment.Â
Lynette smiled. âYou look breathtaking, (Name). Knowing my brother, heâll be speechless once he sees you. How much time do we have?âÂ
Glancing at the clock on the wall, Erika cheered. âFive minutes! Just in time! Are there heels to match?âÂ
âRight here.âÂ
Chiori pulled a pair of heels out of the box and guided you to your vanity chair. She knelt down, gently taking your calf into her hand and resting your foot on her thigh as slipped your heels on.Â
You felt like a princess with all this special treatment. Lynette tugged a black shawl around your shoulders to keep you warm and helped you to your feet.Â
Just as you stood up, there was a knock on the front door. Erika squealed, pushing you out of your bedroom. âNow, donât worry about the mess in your room, Iâll clean it, and AmĂ©lia is watching Lilia so thereâs no need to worry about her, either.âÂ
âWhat about theââÂ
âItâs free of charge,â Chiori interrupted, âI owed Lynette a favor, anyway, since she modeled for me in my last show.âÂ
You sent her a grateful smile. âThank you, Chiori. Truly.âÂ
She sent you a curt nod, though there was a small, barely noticeable smile pulling at her lips.
With a deep breath, you opened the front door, seeing a nervous Lyney standing on the other side. He was wearing a suit, the tie a similar shade of red to your dress, and the hat covered in sparkles.Â
He was holding a bouquet of rainbow roses, the same flowers he had given you on your first meeting. As soon as he heard the door open, he looked up, and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. His mouth dropped open in shock, and he almost dropped the bouquet in his hands.Â
âMon amour, you look stunning.â He stuttered over his words a little, his cheeks tomato red.Â
You felt your cheeks grow warm as he handed you the bouquet. âThank you. Um⊠shall we go?â You cleared your throat, handing the flowers off to Erika to put in a vase.Â
âOf course.â He offered you his arm, and you took it eagerly.Â
The whole night was filled with laughter and wonder, as he continued to surprise you with tricks of charm and awe. He pulled a rose from behind your ear, snapped his fingers and turned the flowers on the table into doves, and turned your cup of juice into wine.Â
Being with Lyney felt like you were a teenager again, experiencing young love for the first time. It was invigorating, like free-falling from a mountain peak.Â
It was over too quickly. Soon, you had to leave, and he was walking you back home. The streetlamps provided just enough light for you to see in the dark, yet they didnât outshine the light of the moon over the Court of Fontaine.Â
It was a cloudless night. The stars were shining brighter than they have in a long time, and you couldâve sworn you saw a shooting star. Maybe that was just wishful thinking.Â
You havenât seen the sky this clear in years. Has your judgment really clouded your vision this badly? Or has Lyney just brightened up your life without you noticing?Â
He bid you farewell at your doorstep, pressing a chaste kiss to the back of your hand. As soon as you stepped inside, you were bombarded with questions from Erika.Â
The two of you had a sleepover in your room, wherein you talked her ear off the whole rest of the night.Â
The weeks came and went, and the more that time passed, the more Lyney had become integrated into your little family.Â
First, it was showing up at your workplace unannounced to bring you lunch (a gesture you found incredibly sweet, but unnecessary since you always packed your own). Then, it was the offer to babysit Lilia for you while you were at work. And of course, your daughter was never going to pass up the chance to watch Lyneyâs magic tricks.Â
After that, it was fighting with Erika as if she were another one of his sisters. As soon as the two of them began to form a friendship, your heart swelled with affection.Â
If your best friend approved of him and considered him one of her friends, you knew he was someone worthy of your time.Â
Lynette eventually started coming around too, showing up at your apartment for tea parties and even going as far as playing dolls and dress-up with Lilia. Even Freminet, a sweet boy and the twinsâ younger brother, was dragged along to your place too.Â
Your little family was growing bigger by the day. It was a tad overwhelming to have so many people in your house again after years of only sharing it with two other people, but at the same time, it felt⊠revitalizing. You had a family once more.Â
And then⊠the fateful day came.Â
As you were tucking Lilia into bed, humming her the same lullaby your grandmother once sung to you, she grabbed your hand and began playing with your fingers.Â
âMama?âÂ
âYes sweetheart?â You brushed her hair out of her face and handed her her teddy bear.Â
âCan Mr. Lyney be my daddy?âÂ
In pure shock, your mouth fell open and you struggled to form an answer. You knew Lilia had formed an attachment to him, but you werenât expecting her to outright ask you if he could be her father.Â
You wouldnât mind it. Youâd love for him to be her father. He was already helping you care for her, there just wasnât an official label on your relationship yet.Â
âHow about you ask him the next time he visits?â You told her, sending her a smile and placing a gentle kiss to her forehead. âIâm sure heâd love to.âÂ
Thatâs exactly what she did. The next time Lyney came over to babysit, Lilia asked him the same question she asked you. And just like you, he had been rendered speechless.Â
He never answered her question directly. He was way too shocked to do so, but he did take her words into consideration as he sought out his Father.Â
Arlecchino was a stoic faced woman who wasnât exactly the best caretaker, but she was making it work in her own way. Although some of her methods of parenting were unusual, they ultimately helped her children prepare for the outside world and to stay unwavering in their resolve.Â
She wasnât forthcoming with her affection for her children. There were roundabout ways she went about showing it, often through gifts. She wasnât exactly a loving Father nor a parental figure her children needed, but she was enough for them. For now, at least.Â
There was a compassion underneath her hard exterior, though it was never obvious with her words. She preferred to let her actions speak for her.Â
And by giving the ring her old lover once owned over to Lyney, that same compassion revealed itself. âI wish you luck in your endeavors,â she said, a hint of sincerity peeking through in her voice, âbut I hope you understand that by extension, you will be dragging your newfound family into our affairs.âÂ
Lyneyâs frown deepened. âI know. But (Name) is already aware of this, and we had a serious talk about it. She understands.âÂ
Arlecchino stared at him, her gaze unwavering. âAnd her daughter?âÂ
He stiffened. âI donât want Lilia to be a part of our work. She shouldnât have to deal with that burden. She deserves a normal childhood.âÂ
âI trust you will tell her when sheâs old enough, then.âÂ
With a nod, Lyney swallowed the lump in his throat. âI will. Just⊠not now. Sheâs too young.âÂ
Arlecchino let out a satisfied sigh and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. âThen I give you my blessing.âÂ
That was all he needed to hear before he bolted out the door, his heart racing with excitement as he ran to you and Lilia.
To home.
notes: the parts with chiori were by far my favorite to write. also, the dress i was picturing was the red version of this one (but in a bigger size obvi). i think we as a society need to appreciate mom bods more. we as a society need to appreciate all body types more. also shoutout to single mothers who do everything they can to make their child(ren) happy while also taking care of themselves too. i have sm respect for them.

PAC : Your K-Pop Idol Life

Label : YG ENTERTAINMENT
Group Members : 8
Position : Main Rapper
Debut Song (s) : NoNoNo - APINK
Pile 1âs, your K-Pop idol life could be deemed as very chaotic if you ask my cards!
Firstly, for your debut song! I sense A LOT of judgement from the public! Looking at the channeled songs, people would question why YG suddenly decided to put emphasis on Vocalized songs instead of the known YG Rap/Hip-Hop debut track timeline.
Secondly, in terms of your overall experience/career! You will not hold back anything from anyone. You could probably be known for being quite umm⊠honest and blunt, and that could rub off many people the wrong way.
You will be known for âexposingâ or being honest about your experience in K-Pop, and youâll talk about how tired you are, the mistreatment you could face and etc.
I see you will be openly speaking about the greediness and mistreatment, as mentioned in the above paragraph, you will unfortunately go ahead and do such while being under YGâs contracts and I see you being forced out the industry, and completely blacklisted!

Debut Song (s) : Trouble Maker - Trouble Maker
Pile 2âs! Your K-Pop idol life is one tumultuous one if you ask my cards!
Firstly, you will be debuting under BLACKLABEL Ent, and you will surprisingly debut as a solo artist! The public will love and adore you soo much!! You will truly be a star of your time.
You will be a really creative idol, and you will also be open about your connection or beliefs on spirituality. You will not shy away from the public, you will tell them that, you do tarot readings, use astrology transits for comeback dates and etc.
And yes! Your debut song! Itâs going to be something completely different, the public will not expect it at all! You could probably have the #1 song on the charts for a while. Oddly enough; it seems as if the public will find a lot of comfort in your debut song and will be in your comments say they want MORE songs like your debut song.
Pile 2âs youâll be generating a lot of money for your company but unfortunately it seems as if the company will not be paying you enough money. Since the company will be aware of your successes, theyâre going to unfortunately overwork you to the brim. The overworking will be extremely unhealthy for your health and I see you see leaving the industry for good once the contract expires.

Position : Dancer/Sub-Vocalist
Debut Song (s) : Helicopter - CLC
Pile 3âs, it seems you all could have to debut during the MHJ conflict lol!
Your debut will be making a lot of noise, it seems like your group will help ADOR get out of debt or their current depressive episode. I see your debut will be angering a lot of male CEOâs in the industry.
Your debut song will be a worldwide hit! Itâs going to bring your group major success and support. You must expect Pick-Me women hating online but those women are possibly intimidated by you and your members, a lot of envy tbh.
Your group will seem to be receiving similar brand deals as NWJNS, luckily you all as a group will have no issue with the hate comments and youâre aware that many people are really not even close to the success that you will all have.
It seems like your group will serve Karmic Justice for ADOR! You will all truly put in your energies into making your group what it will be.
your groups debut concept

Position : Maknae/Vocalist
Debut Song (s) : Red Flavor - Red Velvet
Pile 3âs , your group will have some interesting dynamic to be honest.
Your life as K-Pop idol, it seems like you will have to deal with some unruly members. Your groupâs overall career will be a success, it seems like this debut will surprise a lot of the public.
Your debut song will be a major hit as well! The public will applaud your on screen dynamics as group, theyâll love how well your voices merge with each other as well as the choreography! This debut will leave you with some hardcore fans and even higher expectations from the public.
Now⊠off screen, the dynamics could be quite messy! And for you Pile 4 and being the mediator of the group, deserves a round of applause!
Your group is full of creatives, and it seems like you will all clash at times! I see members being unhappy without being given a certain about of lines, enough screen time, not having high enough fan cam views compared to the other members. Fight like that could arise!
It seems like a member, possibly you; or a member who envies you will be exposing some negative aspects of your personality to the public because youâll be outshining them, during the time youâre all together in a group.
your groups debut concept

Creating Fictional Holidays
     Happy Holidays everyone!
Like mythology or folklore, holidays can add an extra bit of realism and magic to your fictional worlds, and provide for an interesting setting to portray characters, culture, or even family dynamic.
While you can use real world holidays and adapt them to your worlds, you may also want to create your own! Hereâs a few things to consider:
1. What does your holiday celebrate?
Typically, holidays come from historical events or events believed to have happened by religious groups. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. Diwali celebrates the victory of light over darkness, or goodâs triumph over evil. Passover celebrates Israelitesâ escape from slavery. This would be a great chance to delve into the history of your world, and how it forms and influences communities.
Otherwise (and as well as), holidays can be expressions of important cultural values such as community, hard work, or family. The Day of the Dead (or Dia de los Muertos) is the celebration of honoring passed family members, Labour day is held to honour the struggle for unionization by working people. What does your holiday say about the society or community that created it?
2. How has your holiday adapted?
As much as holiday is entrenched in longstanding tradition, there is no escaping modernization and adaption to contemporary norms. As much as Christmas is a religious holiday at its roots, for many, itâs a celebration of family and gift giving. Rather than being a saint, Santa has become the jolly toy-maker separated from religion entirely.
If your holiday began to celebrate say Harvest season, but in modern times âharvest seasonâ is no longer regularly recognized, how does this society continue to celebrate this holiday? Where does tradition and modern standards intersect?
3. How do people perceive the holiday?
Even joyous, wholesome holidays are going to have haters. Just think of Valentines Day coming around every yearâthere are people who love it, people who hate it, and people who see it as a superficial excuse to fund capitalism and consumer culture. What do the people of your world believe about the holiday, or what groups/communities are invited or left out?
4. What rituals go into celebrating your holiday?
During Christmas, many families bring in a tree, wrap gifts to put under it, and bake cookies for a secret intruder in the night. A ritual is just a way people honour somethingâit doesnât necessarily have to be cultish or âevilâ. What longstanding rituals go into the celebration of your holiday?
Maybe gifts are exchanged, candles are lit, cards are given out, money is donated, certain foods are given up or certain times limit eating (such as fasting), families gather, parties are held, etc. etc. There are thousands of ways people celebrate whatâs important to them. Consider how each family or character in your story might take a slightly different spin on the same rituals.
I hope no matter what or how you celebrate this year, you get time to spend with your loved ones <3
