How to Solve Magento 2 Service Temporarily Unavailable Error(503)
When running a Magento 2 store, encountering the “Service Temporarily Unavailable” (503) error can have significant consequences. It indicates that your website is inaccessible to visitors, leading to potential revenue loss and a negative impact on your online reputation. Resolving this error promptly is crucial to ensure uninterrupted access to your Magento 2 store and provide a seamless shopping experience for your customers.
Why Magento 2 Service Temporarily Unavailable Error Occurs
When you install Magento 2, it creates a “maintenance.flag” file to display a system message until the installation is finished. Ideally, once the installation is complete, Magento 2 automatically deletes the maintenance.flag file. However, in some cases, the file may not be deleted automatically, resulting in the “Service Temporarily Unavailable” Error 503.Â
This error occurs because the presence of the maintenance.flag file indicates that your website is still under maintenance mode. Resolving this issue involves manually deleting the maintenance.flag file to restore normal website functionality. More Info: https://www.evrig.com/blog/magento-2-service-temporarily-unavailable-503/

New Magento 2.3.1 Features Every Merchant and Developer Should Know
While the buzz created by Magento 2.3 is not over yet, Magento has released Magento 2.3.1 with great features, critical bug fixes, 30 security enhancements, 200 core functional fixes and 500 pull requests contributed by the community.
Before we dive into Magento 2.3.1
Before we jump into the exciting features of Magento 2.3.1, every Magento store owner and developer must be aware of the critical problems in Magento which should be taken care of immediately.
1. SQL vulnerability
There is a critical SQL injection vulnerability in pre 2.3.1 Magento code.
SQL injection is the process of sending malicious code to gain access and modify data. In this case, hackers can gain access to sensitive banking information of customers.
To protect your site from this vulnerability, download and apply the patch available here.
2. PayPal Payflow Pro active carding
The PayPal Payflow integration in Magento is being targeted by hackers for carding activity, which means these hackers check the validity of the stolen cards by making $0 transactions.
Magento has recommended using Google reCAPTCHA on the Payflow Pro checkout. For more details click here.
3. Authorize.Net support end for MD5 hash
Also, if your Magento site is using Authorize.Net MD5 hash and if you don’t plan to update to 2.3.1, then you have to follow these steps to fix Authorize.Net payment method. Otherwise, your site won’t be able to process payments via Authorize.Net from June 28, 2019.
If you need any help in any of the problems mentioned above you can get help from our Magento experts.
Now let’s focus on Magento 2.3.1 features and advantages
What merchants should know about Magento 2.3.1?
1. Creating orders in the back-end is now easy
The delays in back-end for making changes to billing and shipping addresses are eliminated. This helps to achieve a faster order creation workflow.
2. PDP images can be uploaded without downsizing and compressing
Merchants can directly upload PDP (Product Detail Page) images larger than 1920 x 1200 without being downsized and compressed by Magento. In older Magento versions when a merchant uploads a product image larger than 1920 x 1200, Magento will resize and compress the image.
3. Inventory management 1.1.0
3.1 Distance-priority algorithm (SSA)
This feature analyses the shipping destination location with the source fulfillment shipments to find the nearest fulfillment location. The best part of this feature is that the nearest fulfillment location can be determined based on distance or time for traveling. In addition to that, Pick In Store option is added.
3.2 Elasticsearch for custom stocks
Elasticsearch was only supported for Single Source mode for Default Source. With 2.3.1 it is also supported for custom stocks. In addition to that, filtering search results is also added.
Apart from these, Amazon sales channel and support for DHL are also added.
What developers should know about Magento 2.3.1?
1. Upgrade process dependency assessment automation
A composer plugin magento/composer-root-update-plugin which can automatically update all dependencies in composer.json during a Magento 2.x upgrade is introduced.
2. Enhancements
Significant improvements have been added in Progressive Web Apps (PWA) studio and GraphQL.
3. Performance improvements
The admin order creating page can now handle 3000 addresses. This is made possible by rewriting customer address handling with UI components.
Grid format has been enabled to display the list of additional customer addresses which are contained in the storefront customer address book.
Billing and shopping data will not be cleared if the customer interrupts the checkout process. Earlier, if the cart was updated by the customer, the checkout data would be deleted.
4. Advancements in infrastructure
Elasticsearch 6.0 is now supported.
Redis 5.0 is now supported.
Magento 2.3.1 is now compatible with PHP 7.2.x.
For Authorize.Net payment, Accept.js library is used.
5. Security improvements
30 security enhancements.
Protection against SQL injection.
New Authorize.Net extension is added to replace Authorize.Net Direct Post Module.
Other Enhancements
1. Amazon Pay
Multi-currency support was added for merchants in EU and U.K region. Almost 12 currencies have been added.
2. Magento Shipping
Merchants can cancel the shipment that has not been dispatched yet by accessing the shipment and clicking on Cancel Shipment.
Magento Shipping portal can be accessed using Magento using the credentials that are saved in Magento instance.
3. Cart and checkout
The special product price error is now fixed. Earlier Magento displayed the regular price when the special product price of the product was 0.00.
Infinite loading indicator used to appear in case of an error during checkout and it is fixed in this Magento version.
Clear shopping cart button only used to only reload the page and not clear the shopping cart. This problem is now solved.
Another issue fixed is the force logout of the customer when an item is added to the cart and mini-cart icon is clicked multiple times.
Configuring a product after adding it to a cart is now possible, earlier Magento caused errors.
4. Our Contributions to Magento 2.3.1
We at Codilar are a team of Magento experts, but how can we be experts if we haven’t contributed to making Magento better. Almost all Magento releases comprise fixes from our Magento developers.
This time there are two Magento 2.3.1 fixes from Codilar:
Fixed an issue with \Magento\Catalog\Model\Product::getQty() where float/double was returned instead of a string in most cases in pull request 18149.
Fixed an issue with inaccurate floating point calculations during checkout in pull request 18185.
Should I upgrade my Magento store to Magento 2.3.1?
Unlike the previous version Magento 2.3 that came with awesome features like Magento PWA, Magento 2.3.1 is mainly about performance, security and bug fixes. One mandatory reason to upgrade to Magento 2.3.1 is the SQL injection vulnerability. If exploited, it can allow hackers to access sensitive data including credit card details. Magento has recommended switching to version 2.3.1 for all Magento stores below 2.0 that are planning for an update
“Merchants who have not previously downloaded a Magento 2 release should go straight to Magento Commerce or Open Source 2.3.1.” – Magento Security Team
Let us know what you think about Magento 2.3.1 in the comment section below!

An Ultimate Language Translator for Magento Stores
Have you been the victim of Google Translate’s funny translation?
There are some words in every language which are not just words but a feeling that Google Translate fails to understand.
To keep the essence of the feelings intact, Language Translator is a must.
Today we have one such extension especially engineered for Magento store owners, Magento 2 Language Translator.
Keep reading for more details.
Magento 2 Language Translator Extension – Overview
As the name suggests, this extension is a Language Translator for Magento 2 store owners. You might think, why not translate the page with Google Translate?
But we all have observed that depending on a tool for translation sometimes misses the local touch or meaning. There might be a better way to say things for customers to relate.
Our plugin uses Google Translation API to fetch the translation. But the translated content is editable. Admin can easily add, update, and delete the content. The editing approach is WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get), so your pages will look exactly as you see.
The translation is not only restricted to product pages. You can translate meta details, CMS page contents, review sections, and much more.
If you have static data in different modules in one or multiple store views to the native language of your target audience.
There is an automation process well. So, whenever you add a new product, you don’t have to manually translate the details. Just keep auto-translation on, and the tool will translate the details whenever a new product is added.
Or, if you want to translate in bulk, go for mass translation, and all the content will be translated. The app is not restricted to just one store. Translate all your stores and make them more customer-centric.
If you have any major changes that require more data to be added to the translated page or vice versa, our apps have import/export functionality as well.
In short, Magento 2 Language Translator can do the following:
Multi-language store translation
Instant translations with console command
Translate content using Google API
Edit Google API translated content using WYSIWYG Editor
Mass translate web pages, reviews, and meta details
Database search & translate functionality
Why is it different from other language translators available in the market?
Our Magento language switcher has three unique features that set it apart from others in the market:
1. Complete Backend Control
Our Magento 2 Language Translator extension integrates with your website’s backend. Translate the content to the language of your choice with the help of Google API. Once the content is translated, go through the content and check whether any part of the content requires manual translation. Sometimes, using words in certain ways helps customers connect with your brand.
2. Translation is not limited to web pages
Our Magento 2 Language Translator is not just to translate your web pages. You can do much more with it, like translating product pages, categories, review pages, meta details, blogs, and more. Any detail that goes on your website can be easily translated using our app.
3. No IP-Based Results
Auo switching languages can sometimes distort UX. There might be some changes in the translated content as well. So, our extension does not translate web pages based on visitors’ IPs. Thus, admins and end users have full control over the conversion.
Features of Magento 2 Language Translator
Here are the features that make our extension the best in the market:
Mass Translation
Translating all the content in one go is an easy way to open the door for global visitors. With Magento 2 Language Translation app, translate multiple store fields in a few minutes. To ensure all the newly added product content is also translated, switch on auto-translate mode. Admin has full rights to auto-translate multiple stores in one go. So, say goodbye to tedious and boring tasks.
Instant Translation
To simplify the translation of hundreds of pages, make small batches, add the commands and the input in the console. The translation will start instantly. The translation can be performed at any time content translation is required.
Translation Status
Get a detailed view of all the translations happening at the backend. You don’t have to go and check whether the translation is completed or not. Add the translation task to the queue and continue doing your other work. You will receive a notification once the task is completed.
Pricing and other advantages
Get a stable and secure Magento 2 Language Translator extension at $149 (one-time payment). You get free lifetime updates, a 30-day money-back guarantee, and 30 days of support.
We have a super saver pack that includes Magento 2 Language Translator extension and Magento 2 Geolocation Redirect at $159 only.
The Geolocation Redirect app is priced at $99, but when purchased along with the Language Translator extensions, you pay only $159 instead of $248.

Guide - How to remove a Virus from WordPress
Beginner's Guide to Removing a Virus from a Hacked WordPress Site
A sad reality about website management is that sometimes these could be hacked.
It has all happened to us that our WordPress site was hacked a few times in the past, and we know exactly how stressful this can be. Not to mention the impact it has on your work and readers. In recent years, we have helped hundreds of users recover hacked WordPress sites, including several well-known companies. In this article, we will share a step-by-step guide to remove viruses from your compromised WordPress site.
Fix your hacked WordPress site
Some things to know before you start
First of all, regardless of the platform you use, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento etc., know that any site can be hacked!
When your WordPress site is hacked, you can lose, search engine rankings, expose your readers and customers to viruses, destroy your reputation due to redirects to porn sites or other tacky websites and even worse, lose the data of the whole site.
If your website is corporate, security should be one of your top priorities.
That's why it's essential to have a good WordPress hosting company. Surely a Managed Host would be much better for making you sleep soundly.
Make sure you always have a good WordPress backup solution available such as BackupBuddy .
Last but probably also the most important, having a robust firewall for web applications like Sucuri . For example, we use their services on our websites.
All the above information is great if you haven't been hacked yet , but chances are that if you are reading this article, it is too late to add the precautions we mentioned above. So before doing anything, try to stay as calm as possible.
Let's take a look at the step-by-step guide on how to remove a Virus from your compromised WordPress site.
Step 0 - Get it done by a professional
Security is a serious matter, and if you are not comfortable with codes and servers, it is almost always better to consult an expert in WordPress Consulting .
Why consult an expert?
Because hackers hide their scripts in multiple locations, allowing viruses to return over and over again.
Although we will show you how to find and remove them later in this article, there are those who need certainty, and want to have the peace of mind of knowing that an expert has properly cleaned their website, and it is a good way to think about it if the your website supports your business.
Security experts usually cost € 100 to € 250 an hour, which is expensive for a small business or young entrepreneur.
However, for readers of the WPB-assistance Blog, we offer € 199 for cleaning up your website from Virus and Malware and in addition we can include a monitoring service for a whole year.
Now this may sound like self promotion, but it's actually an honest recommendation. We know very well how many technical implications there are on WordPress and many more flock to the world of WordPress security and web spaces so we recommend you read this guide and also get an expert to intervene.
So use them if you appreciate your time, are not tech savvy, or just want peace of mind.
For all DIY people, follow the steps below to clean up your compromised WordPress site.
Step 1. Identify the hack
When dealing with a virus on the website, you are very stressed out. The first thing to do is to try to stay calm and write a list of everything you know about virusl.
Below is a list of things to check:
·        Can you access your WordPress admin panel?
·        Is your WordPress site redirected to another website?
·        Does your WordPress site contain illegitimate links?
·        Does Google mark your website as unsafe?
Write down everything in the list because this will help you while talking to your hosting company or even while following the steps below to fix your site.
In addition, it is essential that you change your passwords before you start cleaning. You'll have to change your passwords, even when you're done cleaning the virus.
Step 2. Check with the hosting company
The best hosting providers are very useful in these situations. They have an experienced staff that takes care of this kind of thing on a daily basis and they know their hosting environment, which means they can guide you better. Start by contacting your web host and follow their instructions.
Sometimes the virus may have affected even more of your site, especially if you are on shared hosting. Your hosting provider may also be able to provide you with more information about the type of virus, such as how it originated, or where the backdoor is hiding, etc.
You may also be lucky and the host may clean up the virus for you.
Step 3. Restore from backup
If you have backups for your WordPress site, then it may be best to restore a backup from an earlier point in time when the site was hacked. If you can do it, this can be worth gold.
However, if you have a blog where you post daily content, you risk losing blog posts, new comments, etc. In these cases, evaluate the pros and cons.
In the worst case, if you don't have a backup or if the website has been compromised for a long time and you don't want to lose the content, you can manually remove the virus.
Step 4. Scan for and remove malware
View your WordPress site and remove any inactive WordPress themes and plugins. Most often, this is where hackers hide their backdoors.
The term Backdoor refers to a method of ignoring standard authentication and obtaining the ability to remotely access the server without being detected. Most smarter hackers upload the backdoor as their first action. This allows them to recover access even after you have found and removed the virus.
Once you're done, go ahead and scan your website for viruses.
You should install the following free plug-ins on your website: Sucuri WordPress Auditing and Theme Authenticity Checker (TAC) .
When you set them up, the Sucuri scanner will scan the integrity status of all files in the WordPress core. In other words, it shows you where the virus is hiding.
The most common places where viruses nestle are plug-in themes and directories, upload directories, wp-config.php, wp-include directory, and .htaccess files.
If the theme's authenticity controller finds a suspicious or malicious code in your themes, it will show a details button next to the theme with the reference to the infected theme file. It will also show you the malicious code it has found.
Here you have two options for fixing the virus. You can manually remove the code or you can replace that file with the original file.
For example, if they have modified the WordPress core files, you can upload the WordPress files again by extracting them from a new download or you can replace all the files in the WordPress core.
The same goes for theme files. Download a new copy and replace the damaged files with new ones. Remember to do this only if you have not made changes to the WordPress theme codes otherwise you will lose those changes.
Repeat this step also for plugins if interested.
You will also need to make sure that the plugin's theme and folder match the original ones. Sometimes hackers add additional files that look like the original plugins in the name and it is easy to ignore them, such as: hell0.php, Adm1n.php, etc.
We have a detailed guide on how to find a backdoor on WordPress and remove it.
Keep repeating this step until the hack is gone.
Step 5. Check user permissions
Search the WordPress users section to make sure that only you and your trusted team members have administrator access to the site.
If you see a suspicious user ... delete it!
Read our beginner's guide to WordPress user roles.
Step 6. Change your secret keys
Since version 3.1 came out, WordPress generates a set of security keys that encrypts your passwords. Now if a user has stolen your password, d is still logged on the site, he will remain logged because his cookies are valid. To disable cookies, you need to create a new set of secret keys. You need to generate a new security key and add it to your wp-config.php file.
Step 7. Change your passwords again
Yes it's true, you changed the passwords in step 1. Now do it again!
You need to update your WordPress password, cPanel / FTP / MySQL password, and practically wherever you have used passwords.
We strongly recommend that you use a strong password. Read our article on the best way to manage passwords. If there are many users on your site, it is better to push them to reset their password.
Go ahead - Strengthen the security of your WordPress site
Improve WordPress security
It goes without saying that no more secure thing than a good backup solution. If you don't have one, we encourage you to do something to back up your site every day.
Other than that, here are some other things you can do to better protect your site from viruses - this list is not in order and you should do as many things as possible!
Website firewall configuration and monitoring system - Sucuri is the provider we use because, in most cases, they block attacks before they reach your server.
Switch to Managed WordPress Hosting - Most WordPress hosting companies do everything they can to keep your site secure. We recommend WP-Hosting.it .

Top 10 SEO Mistakes & How To Fix Them Right Now
No matter what your company does, there will be hundreds of companies that do a similar thing. So how do you stand out from the competition and drive traffic to your exact website? The answer is simple: SEO. Search engine optimization is a complex issue that can either make it or break it in terms of your site’s visibility and traffic inflow. By fine-tuning the SEO part, you can enjoy a significant rise of the website visitors – but at the same time, improper SEO can hurt your site a lot. If you feel like your site can do better, or you are not satisfied with the users’ engagement, time to go through our list of the biggest SEO mistakes that most websites make and see if anything rings a bell.
1. Low site speed
You want your site to be ranked in top search results by Google so users can easily find it. Google, in turn, wants the users to be happy – and this is the primary reason behind its decision to include site speed in the search ranking algorithms. There are many things that can impact the speed of your site, including a poorly written code, lots of useless plugins, or heavy images. While you may not even suspect it, some of these things can drag your site down in terms of performance. The first step for you to take would be analyzing your site with PageSpeed Insights by Google. It is an immensely helpful tool that detects the biggest problems with your site and provides suggestions on how to fix them. Another thing that you can do is request an SEO audit from a reliable SEO company to get an in-depth analysis of the existing problems and recommendations on how to resolve them. The next steps will depend on the audit results. If there are a few minor issues, you will be able to fix them yourself. But if the problem is more serious, you might need to reach out for help. In e-commerce, for example, it is a common practice to hire developers that work with the specific e-commerce platform, especially if it’s a complex one like Magento. In this case, store owners will need a knowledgeable Magento 2 developer who can get the store back on track and speed it up to stop losing conversions.Â
2. Poor site structure
A well-organized site structure is essential. It helps users easily navigate through the site, and this, in turn, leads to better user experience. At the same time, it also helps search bots “understand” your site, see which content is the most important and index the pages correspondingly. So what makes a good site structure? It implies: Easy and clear navigation Proper categorization Internal Linking No duplicate pages Breadcrumbs (recommended) Unfortunately, many websites have complicated and confusing navigation, broken links, duplicate content, and other issues that prevent Google from proper indexing. Think of a good site structure as of a pyramid where the homepage is a cornerstone, and then the user gradually moves to categories, subcategories, etc. As well, check out this guide on setting up a site structure with a detailed explanation of each step. One more thing to consider is an XML sitemap. The XML sitemap is basically a list of the most essential pages of your site, and it helps Google see and index these pages. It is highly recommended for any website to have an XML sitemap. To make it visible for Google, you’ll need to add your map to the Google Search Console (a “Sitemaps” section).
3. Broken links
You may not even remember a newsletter that you sent to your customers a few months ago, but they may still click on the links in it. And it may happen that these links are broken and lead to a 404 page. There are a few reasons for 404 error. The user may incorrectly type the URL, the page was deleted, or a site structure was changed. As well, the broken links may be both internal and external, meaning, the other site might have a broken link that supposedly leads to your site. How do you keep an eye on all your links and ensure none of them result in a 404 error? For that, there are many available tools that will help you track your links and identify the broken ones. First, there are crawl tools that analyze the internal links on your site and report about the broken ones. Then, there are backlink tools that, as you might have guessed, analyze the external sources that may contain a broken link to your site. As well, you can track the 404 error with Google Analytics. Broken links are a serious issue. They harm the ranking of your site and decrease the user’s experience significantly. But before rushing to fix them, estimate how many users (or conversions) you are losing due to 404 error and then prioritize your tasks correspondingly.
4. Non-optimized images
When people hear SEO, they immediately think of keywords, links, XML sitemaps, and other “technical” stuff. What many site owners tend to ignore is the issue of image optimization, which often remains overlooked. Images are an essential part of your SEO optimization strategy. They help your site get noticed and draw users to it. After all, people do lots of image search, and you want your website to appear in these search results. An e-commerce store is an excellent example of a site that demands proper image optimization. With a variety of product images, such a store wants to be noticed among the competition and let the users know that it has the needed products. Naming the image Every image needs an informative and keyword-filled name so Google can understand what the image is about. Describe its key features and think what keywords users may search for. Then, add one or two keywords in the image description, so it looks something like “white-flat-shoes-women.jpg”. But don’t try to fill in the image’s name with keywords only - make the name descriptive and useful. Alt attributes You can see the alt attribute text when the browser does not display the image and shows text instead. Alt attributes help both users and search bots understand what the hidden image is about, so you need to write these attributes for every image on your site. Same as with image name, alt attributes have to contain keywords and describe the image in a clear and neat manner. As well, keep an eye on the image size and types. Certain image types like JPG or PNG are suitable for different purposes, and image size may impact the site load speed.
5. Non-optimized textÂ
The content of your site serves a few crucial functions: it informs the users about your products/services and, at the same time, impacts your ranking. If the text does not have enough keywords, is not unique or relevant, does not contain any links, and does not bring value to the user, it can seriously hurt your ranking. The trick is, Google assesses the sites by their value for the users. If a bot sees high bounce rates or identifies a copypasted content on your pages, it will lower your site or even hide it from the search results. One of the biggest mistakes that many e-commerce marketers do with their text is leaving the product description from manufacturer untouched. That means, they copy and paste it without even the slightest altering. But think about this. How many stores, in your opinion, are selling the same products and copypasted the same text? Obviously, when seeing several identical texts, Google will rank more “reliable” sites higher than yours. Try writing a unique product/service description and create a unique copy across your site. And don’t forget the keywords – we will talk about them just in a moment.
6. Issues with keywords
Ah, the keywords. The special words that can draw the traffic to your site and significantly raise its ranking. However, for some sites, keywords remain a terra incognita. The most popular issues with keywords are: Overuse of keywords: the copy seems unnatural Misuse of keywords: use of irrelevant keywords, for example Missing keywords: there are no or very little keywords across your site. It is recommended to place the keywords all across the site, including the URLs and H1 tags. But how do you choose the relevant ones? Google offers an array of tools to search for keywords, including the Google AdWords Keyword Tool and Google Analytics itself. As well, study your competition and see which keywords are used most often. But when choosing keywords, always make sure they are relevant to the content on your site.
7. Duplicate content
Duplicate content means you have the same content on your pages, and this is bad for your ranking. The thing is, when Google sees the pages with identical content, it cannot decide which one is canonical. As a result, the overall ranking drops down, and the same happens to site visibility. There are a few ways how you can fix the issue: Use robots.txt to prevent individual pages from crawling Apply 301 redirect to redirect one link to another page Use no-index, no-follow tags to prevent the page from being indexed/crawled Use the rel canonical tag to let the search engine know which page is canonical. As well, the problem may be that you have identical content. In this case, do a rewrite or create unique content for every page, as we discussed above.
8. Misuse of the H1 tag
The H1 tag is an HTML tag that indicates a heading on a web page. This tag is on top of tag hierarchy on a page and helps search engines understand the content on the page. When a bot lands on a page, it reads the HTML code and immediately “understands” what the page is about due to proper tag hierarchy. So if your site has a few H1 tags or poor tag organization, it will confuse the bot and, as a result, hurt your ranking. Some best practices to follow when creating an H1 tag: Add keywords to it Try not to make it too lengthy Do proper hierarchy: h1, h2, h3, etc. Keep one H1 tag per page The use of the H1 tag also contributes to user behavior. It is more pleasant to interact with a well-organized page than do guesswork in an attempt to understand what this whole thing is about.
9. Content with zero value
By now, you may think: how does this relate to SEO mistakes? But valuable content is actually an essential part of your SEO strategy. In an attempt to drive traffic to the site, some entrepreneurs may decide to add many irrelevant but popular keywords to the site. While it may work at first, users will soon see that the content mismatches the keywords, and they will simply leave. The search bot, in turn, will see a high bounce rate on the page and will understand that your site does not offer any value to the users. As a result, your ranking will drastically drop, and you may even get blacklisted. As well, quality content contributes to link building. If your content is indeed informative and brings value, people will share it – and that means higher ranking.
10. Lack of mobile optimization
This one is really important. In 2018, Google rolled out mobile-first indexing. That means the mobile version of your site is now the first thing that Google will include in the index. Because the number of mobile users is growing drastically, website owners need to adapt to this change and transform their websites correspondingly. A mobile-friendly site usually means: Light-weight design for faster loading Interactive and clickable elements Larger fonts Mobile-friendly images Easy navigation If the site is not adapted for mobile, users will leave it faster than you’ll notice and it will hit a blow at your conversions.
Summary
Search engine optimization is essential for any website. It is responsible for the site’s visibility and hence, building its reputation online. Invest some time into building a solid SEO strategy and start by fixing the above SEO mistakes. Also, don’t forget to hold regular SEO audits. In return, you will be rewarded with a high ranking, satisfied users, and an inflow of conversions. If you need any help with your website's SEO, reach out to Wowbix Digital Marketing today! In addition, Magento’s scalability, support team, and maintenance are the factors that added more value to it. Also, to make your eCommerce store more seamless for your users, you can easily add third-party plugins.
As Magento makes it easy to add every needed functionality for creating a multi-vendor marketplace, it results in a lower cost.
4. Gain the Global Presence
Creating a multi-vendor marketplace solution for your business allows you to reach a global audience. Herein, vendors, after registering on your eCommerce multi-vendor marketplace, get the global audience to sell their products.
These vendors can use such a marketplace to sell their products internationally. The logistics processes are handled by the marketplace solutions with their special logistics solution for satisfying the customer’s experience on the platform.
For instance, Amazon is an example of such a multi-vendor marketplace solution. On Amazon, sellers register themselves and sell the product without any logistics headaches.

You don’t need to manage the logistics, product up-gradation, updating pricing, and content to run your eCommerce store. As you have multi-vendors, they will be responsible to update their product details with their sub-admin panel.

Magento 2.3 End of Life | When Is It, And What Should You Expect?
The article was initially published in WebMeridian blog.
Magento 2.3.x Will Reach the End of Support in September 2022
Magento 2.3 has been available since November 2018. Magento 2.4. X versions have now surpassed Magento 2.3, and Adobe has officially confirmed that Magento will be phased out (End Of Life).
The Magento 2.3 End of Life will have significant consequences for active websites running on the Magento platform 2.3 and lower, including no further software maintenance and security patches after September 8th, 2022. This has also put an end to all quality fixes for Magento websites using version 2.3 as of July 2021.
Let’s dive deeper into what Magento 2.3 end of life means and why Magento 2.4 upgrade and Magento website maintenance are so crucial in 2022.
In a Nutshell About Impact of Magento 2.3 End of Support
No More Updates
Magento 2.3 will become outdated, and no more updates will be offered. These upgrades will contain security fixes, quality improvements, and adjustments to PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance. These upgrades will be inaccessible to the unsupported version, putting their online shop and customers’ data in danger.
You Won’t Be Able To File Support Tickets For Magento 2.3
Support requests for unsupported versions of the Magento platform will no longer be recognized. This suggests that assistance will be restricted even when the retailers require it. Moreover, due to a lack of security and technological updates, Magento 2.3 web businesses will eventually require extensive technical maintenance.
Magento Marketplace Extensions With Restrictions
Magento Marketplace extensions that are only compatible with the unsupported version of Magento will be effectively withdrawn. With time, Magento 2.3 stores will be unable to employ the majority of the extensions required to run the store. Furthermore, these online shops will not have access to new extensions or features, restricting their ability to properly manage the site.
Magento 2.3 Documentation Will Be Removed From Their Website
The developer documentation for the outdated versions of Magento will likewise be deleted from the website. As a result, developers will no longer be able to use these documents for troubleshooting or adding new features to the eCommerce shop.

Product Review Examples and Their Efficiency in eCommerce
Product reviews are one of the most efficient means to boost an eCommerce business. They can increase conversions, positively impact SEO, and strengthen a company’s credibility. However, well-written reviews aren't a magic pill. It’s also important to attract the right audience, increase website performance, and optimize your site for mobile devices, for example, using the Magento PWA Studio. When deciding to buy a product, people bear in mind various criteria. For example, some prefer a particular brand or pay attention to the price, others value the delivery terms. However, almost everyone scrolls down to the reviews section and compares goods with the highest rankings. Why? Because visitors trust other buyers’ opinions more than product descriptions on the site. Most often, clients are reluctant to write reviews, except for dissatisfaction with the quality of goods or services. This article contains awesome product review examples. This piece will teach you on how to write testimonials, which review types exist, and why you need such feedback.Â
Product Review Basic Rules
Online store owners understand the importance of testimonials. However, in pursuit of them, they may disregard some rules. For example, you shouldn’t delete reviews that you don’t like. Even negative feedback can do less harm to your site than no reviews at all. The latter could mean you have no sales or are hiding something. To get customer testimonials for their online store, some sellers write them themselves, pay money, or ask friends. But this is a shady tactic. It’s more effective to establish real communication with clients.
Four Benefits of Customer Reviews in eCommerce
1. The Loyalty of Visitors
Customers trust a store with honest reviews more. It’s valid for offline deals as well. We all have time-tested places, cafes, service centers that have won our trust. When we are looking for something, we consider the experience of our friends, acquaintances, and relatives. In eCommerce, buyers have fewer opportunities to test a product. So, they need to know what the customers with a real-life experience of the product think about it.
2. Advantages Over Competitors
Reviews improve brand reputation in general. The more they see discussions on your online store, the more credibility it will build. If your customers share their thoughts, then the site is trading. It means that this store has competitive prices, quality of goods, and level of service. See how much attention CeraVe pays to keep in touch with clients. Someone didn’t like the cream, and the buyer left a negative review, but the team didn’t ignore it. Instead, they thanked politely for the response and tried to settle the situation.

3. Convincing Those in Doubt
Generally, product descriptions follow a similar pattern. But how does the product work in life? How does it smell or taste? Typically, this information can be obtained after use, preferably several times. Therefore, user reviews can provide insight into the nuances the seller didn’t tell or might not know. Sometimes it can be expert assessments. Or, clients can answer other people’s questions, creating discussion threads. Some stores collect product reviews from other sites if they don’t have enough of their own. For example, CVS Pharmacy illustrates such product review examples in the screenshot below.

4. Increased Traffic from Search Engines
Reviews boost your website rankings as it’s a source of unique content. Different sites utilize standard descriptions, so search engines spot those that have something exclusive. You can also increase traffic for low-frequency queries such as “product name + reviews”. When you enter a query, Google displays star snippets in search results. It’s crucial for product pages because they’re more visible. Feedback keeps the visitor on the page longer, which will also be an indicator for search robots.

Types of Reviews
1. Written Reviews
It’s the easiest way to express your opinion. The customer either puts the number of stars or writes a couple of lines about his experience.
2. Video Reviews
It’s a popular way to express your opinion about a product today. It can be unpacking, testing, or using. Sometimes the reviewer doesn’t appear in the video and highlights the product’s features. These videos are extremely helpful in the electronics store industry. For example, if a person understands gadgets, he will talk about how to best use the product, what features can make life easier for others, and what problems to prepare for in the future. Apparel stores can also take advantage of such feedback, as the buyer will show how the product sits and feels.

3. Photo Reviews
This type of testimonial is easier to make than shooting a video, so most clients are more willing to share it. At the same time, sometimes they take high-quality photos of the product, which is an additional bonus for the site. In some cases, they can share the effect they have achieved with the product if it’s cosmetics or medicinal products. For example, you can see how Walmart shoppers do it in the screenshot below.
Screenshot taken on the official Walmart website There are two types of reviews, depending on the site: Reviews on the company’s website or social media channels; Reviews on third-party sites (f.e., Yelp, Google, Trustpilot); Both ways of presenting feedback are equally important. Reviews on the seller’s site allow people to get all the needed information in one place. Visitors won’t have to open another tab to see other buyers’ opinions. Thus, you won’t lose them on the complicated conversion funnel. At the same time, if users read reviews on another site, they get the idea of what they want. So, they come to your store ready to purchase straight away.
6 Tips to Encourage Buyers to Leave a Review
1. Provide Opportunities
First, you need to create the technical capabilities to leave reviews on your site, for example, ratings or fields under a product description. Or you can ask your customers for their opinion on social media. Participate in discussions like Lush representatives do on their Instagram page.

2. Just Ask
Clients may not know how critical reviews are to your SEO, conversions, and traffic. They can recommend your store to their friends but hesitate to do it on the site. Ask for leaving a review on the product page and tell your customers how feedback matters to you.
3. Use Email Newsletters
Set up an automatic email newsletter to remind shoppers to give feedback. Make it subtle and explain why you need it, just like Mack Weldon does in their email newsletter.

4. Simplify the Process
No one will waste time and go through the complicated registration process before leaving feedback. Enable reviews by logging in through social networks or entering an email address. Your customers don’t need to create a profile just to share their opinion.
5. Implement a Feedback Motivation System
The accumulative bonus system is a method of increasing sales on the site. Provide additional points for feedback, especially for video reviews. Clients can spend these points or use discounts on future purchases. Don’t forget to express your gratitude. To do this, you can send an email or write it directly on the product page. The customers will likely realize appreciation for their opinion and return to you for other products.
6. Show an Example
Reviews on the product page indicate that the online store appreciates feedback. Even if the reviews are not always positive. Their complete absence can give a false impression that you don’t consider testimonials necessary. What will the users’ reaction be? Right, there’s no need to waste time writing them at all. Get at least several product reviews. They will inspire others to express their opinion as well.
Final Word
You can’t think of a better way to show the seller’s attention than maintaining a connection with buyers. By getting feedback from real customers and answering questions, you take the necessary steps to grow your online business. Reviews are evidence that the online store is ready to engage in discussions with its visitors. And users understand that they can count on solving their problems. React promptly and adequately to any comments, and you will see how sales and customer loyalty will grow. Read the full article
