Reading MADK is unintentionally hilarious because it's like yeah yeah gay cannibalistic demon sex, whatever; more importantly what the hell does J want? Mystery is nowhere in its core plot description and yet it's the core of MADK. Like, even more core than the fucked up demon sex. I've never read something that doesn't bill itself as mystery and yet is so good at it. Mystery wraps around every single character interaction and plot movement. What does J want? What is Mako's true intentions in every single scene? What really happened between J and his mentor? How much deeper will Mako dig the hole of evil shit he does? What the hell do both of them want?

He doesn't want to change his body. Not the one J gifted him.

Even with the previously undisclosed surprises...

"Did you know I had a uterus?" Makoto says quietly, tracing his fingers absently across his cesarean abdominal-scar. It throbs dully. "I suppose you did... I suppose you wanted me to have it on purpose."

He couldn't understand the pleasure peaking while being torn open from the inside, bursting fluids, screaming hoarsely through crested waves of agony and gripping onto J's hand. His experiences, Makoto's demonic transformation, it never been more... conflicting.

(When the spawn crawled out of Makoto's abdomen heaving and shrinking to normal, D-san whisked the bloody mess away, tsking.)

"I'm granting your desire, Mako-kun," J reminds him, thoughtfully thumbing the line of Makoto's jaw. "Remember how hard you got... remember when I told you I would gladly violate you and breed you with our demon child if that's what you desired from me...?"

Makoto grunts, digging his fingertips suddenly into the healed and pink-ridged scar. Blood wells. "My desires are satisfied about the matter," Makoto croaks, his heart pounding. "Fuck me here, J."

A low laugh.

J's own fingers brush Makoto's neck sutures.

"Isn't it also painful?" J says teasingly. "I can't decide which you are: a sadist or a masochist. Or did I choose my lover who excels in both?"

"You're ridiculous," Makoto deadpans. "We've done worse..."

A sharp-molared grin flourishes to J's expression.

"Mm, yes," he recalls with a degree of delight. "On your bed, wasn't it? Before I claimed you? That human penis of yours fucked the entrails of my body mostly consumed by you a month prior... you were so happy to fuck yourself against any vertebrae of my spine left."

Cheeks burning in humiliation, Makoto groans and frowns and stretches open his abdominal wound. The moist veins pulsating.

"You're not listening... I said to fuck me in here, J..."

The heated words only seem to amuse J further. He leans over and buries his tongue entirely inside of Makoto's opening, lapping, engulfing the warmth and sensation of another demon's body.

Makoto fists J's horns, bucking occasionally, letting the tears flow.

Nothing should change.

the next chapter of madk is pretty gnarly, but idk, I think it’s pretty on par for the rest of the series. I did, however, laugh out loud at one (1) outrageous penis.

Anyway, I got scared, scolded a colleague, chased him around the museum and almost nailed him with the butt of a model rifle that he, the brute, broke!

But it was quickly repaired... Thank the gods.
