THE MADE SERIES REVIEW

a. The sweetest oblivion (6/10)

1. Okay this book was lowkey cute. initially I didn't wanna read it bcs it felt shitty she was after her sister's man but it wasn't like that so it actually helped.

2. I read this like 24 hrs ago but I finished this series in one day so I don't remember a lot but it has to be the best book out of this series.

3. Erm Nico is a bit pushy hehe!!(Like a lot) I actually liked him in the beginning when it was all angst and forbidden and shit but then it just became fucking weird for no reason when he was like AAAAAHHHH I WANT HER AAAAAHHHH ILL HAVE HER WHETHER SHE LIKES IT OR NOT like my brother chill.

4. Okay so the FMC lowkey has no spine... But erm as long as she likes him with all his mysoginy sure I guess!!!

5. I will however say that nico is not a red flag or a green flag he's an in between ig. What put me off was the forced marriage when she literally asked him to wait for a week atleast and he didn't respect her wishes or her BCS... Let's be real. But after reading the whole series Nico feels like a jewel.

b. The maddest obsession (1/10)

1. Christian allister is an ick. Yes the title is right. He is mad. He is obsessed. So obsessed that he does not know what boundaries are. So obsessed that he never listens to what she wants. So obsessed that he never could look at things from her point of view.

2. He is an actual psycho y'all!!! And it's not in a teehehe cute way!!! AND HOWW TF DID HE END UP IN THE FBI HUH??!!!!

3. To say he was plain insensitive and disregarded every single wish of Gianna would be an understatement.

4. I feel like the author should have let Gianna have some independent life of her own but it felt like her life was tbh a burden to her. It was one horrible man after another. And while Christian did not physically harass her he emotionally did that for sure bcs he might have had feelings for her but he didn't show it. She couldn't feel it so it was just another fucking man on her plate.

5. Lowkey expected Gianna to be this confident sparkly girly but no it didn't exactly give. She was mentally broken and destroyed and all Christian did was fuck her up more and you can't convince me otherwise. At the end of the day it was just an obsession bcs THAT IS NOT FUCKING LOVE.

c. The darkest temptation (-1000/10)

1. Oh don't get me started on this one. I was very close to a DNF on this one. Anyone that loves this motherfucker or loves the characters needs to be checked. And I wouldn't trust them to protect an imaginary ant.

2. Pure sexual assault. Goodluck convincing me otherwise. HE LITERALLY TOOK HER VIRGINITY WHEN SHE SAID SHE WAS ONE AND HE SAID "MY LITTLE LIAR" SHE SAID NO. OMG SHE SAID NO AND PLEASE AND HE DIDN'T LISTEN UNTIL HE SAW BLOOD. AND THEN HE COULDNT STOP HIMSELF. BUT WHEN HE DID HE MADE HER FEEL LIKE SHIT AND THEN WALKED AWAY AND ACTED LIKE A VICTIM BECAUSE HE DIDNT "DO" VIRGINS.

3. For like 3/4 of the book he calls her everything horrible attacks her dignity. Disrespects her. BUT WHEN HE RAPES HER HE SOMEHOW FEELS BAD and that my friends is when he changes. But no matter how sweet or nice which btw he wasn't after that NOTHING WILL EVER FIX THAT. This girl was weird bcs she had no spine no common sense and her heart wasn't on a sleeve she was daft and dumb.

4. He didn't protect her once. He literally gave no damn about her. And this was Stockholm syndrome full on. This is what Stockholm syndrome is people. That was not love that was rape converting into "love". And remember just because the body "reacts" a no means no. Bcs your body is built to react sometimes positively sometimes negatively. But she did not want that and her syndrome showed up later for her to want it.

5. The one thing this book pin down right was he was the villain. But he's not the villain that should get the girl. He's the villain that should sit alone in a dark room feeling hollow and fucked up. And tbh he's the lesser of two evil. Bcs according to the books her dad isn't into trafficking BUT THST DOESN'T MAKE HIM DIFFERENT. HE KNEW HIS MEN ASSAULTED. HE ASSAULTED. JUST BCS HE DONT TRADE DOESN'T MEAN HES BETTER. Holy shit this book had me raging.

Overall I've had my fair share of shitty books but this series took the cake. Because wtf. This series is exactly what I mean when I say love has become lust. Where is the yearning. Where is the stolen glances. Where is the agony and pain.
