While Maddie may be on the side of Arcane’s big bad—and before any Viktor big bad believers reply, y’all can skedaddle. He was only a relevant threat for approximately four minutes in the last episode—I still can’t comprehend how we can take this exact point which is, in most cases, used for the protag, and get mad just because it’s a part of a character on the villain side.

Maddie faked being a docile side piece to get under a rich enemy’s skin and to steal info. She let Cait treat her like shit and pretended to not notice or care so she could infiltrate her enemy’s home, plans, army, and wealth. This is quite literally the most a girl can girlboss.

People can dislike Maddie because of the betrayal, that’s fine, obviously people won’t like the one who goes behind a protag’s back. But the fact that she gets more hate than Singed, Silco or Ambessa is unbelievable. She just did her job; it’s not her fault that she was excellent at it.

I mean, look at her. She’s such a babygirl. With her whimsy and firearms. Lookat her go.

the implications of the maddiecaitlyn hook ups are awful to me, caitlyn is her superior, she’s 23, she’s second in command in all piltover in a city under martial law. maddie is JUNIOR OFFICER, which puts her at like 18, but worse than that, caitlyn holds immense power over her, maddie admires her and cait is using her to fill an emotional void and for validation. and yet, it’s maddie that receives all the hate.
