The way I’ve become so attached to Maddie Nolen is crazy😭 Like what do Maddie haters expect me to do when they say “I’m in enemy territory.” Or “But Maddie is—“ STOPPP.

I can’t just detach from my comfort character, wifeyyyy and fav character EVER that I am HEAVILY autistic about so easily?? It doesn’t work like that😔

I don’t justify her actions, or any of the arcane characters’ actions at that, but I see that Maddie is more than just a spy who slept with Cait and died… Maddie my love, they could never make me hate you😋 I understand get why people hate her tho, but people hate Caitlyn or Jinx for similar reasons—bc of their actions!

that feeling when your biggest comfort character at the moment is someone who had 5-10 minutes of screen time in total, got cancelled 2-5 times by the fandom and died in the most hamster-like manner possible

(on the flip side they’re really pretty (beautiful red hair, big blue/gray eyes, adorable freckled cheeks and nose, equally kissable-looking asymmetrical lips, cute scottish/glaswegian accent, slightly reminds you of a 19th century postman/soldier in the “peanut patrol” uniform), is skilful and dedicated to their their job (espionage), and the lack of their backstory info actually makes them more mysterious, adding to the charm, and which makes you constantly wonder and want to know more about them (how was their childhood? their parents/caretakers? how did they exactly grew up and were moulded to be the loyal servant of the warmongering empire? will we get any hints in the spin-off show? is that their real name? are even those freckles/hair/eye colour real? only gods and amanda overton can possibly know)

Haven’t had any motivation to write, so here’s another Maddie Nolen yapp session!!😛

People have become SO comfortable on the internet, they say literally whatever they want. Like— if you like something, or a certain character, people can get so mad and mean for no reason?? Like duh, don’t dive into problematic shit, but a character like Maddie… MADDIE. Not even in the top 1000 worst villains in media. If you like her, people go off, send death threats, hate on the person who likes Maddie and etc..

It’s honestly so annoying. You will not see me blowing up on someone who likes Ambessa just bc I DONT like her!! It’s not that hard to be nice and respectful towards others, but clearly people are too comfy behind a screen where they can comment whatever they want.

I love Maddie sm for so many reasons, and I don’t wanna deal with people shaming me for liking her- because there is nothing to shame me about?? She’s another complex female character that people can’t stand.. I live for complex characters. And not to mention how there are other characters in arcane who have done rlly bad things—and some even worse than her, HELLO?

Anyway, it’s not hard to be nice and a non-toxic arcane fan. I’m a Maddie lover, you’ll live!

Instead of good at numbers autism, I got the Maddie Nolen autism…

Maddie Nolen is my biggest special interest, happened unintentionally! Due to the extreme hate she gets, I took the time to really deep dive into her character for reals… Which ended up in me being very autistic about her lmao😋

I have written an entire Maddie analogy/defense which is currently at 4907 words, I have multiple albums of Maddie content on Pinterest, Insta, TikTok, my camera roll AND YouTube. Multiple drawings and doodles on all paper I get my hands on, I have a Maddie-vibe song playlist, pins I have made- and so on.

The topic of Maddie alone eats away at my brain every day, never have been so passionate about a character like this before- I stand by my cancelled wife🫡 I love love Maddie, I’m so gay for her🤭💗💗✨
