I quite liked your AU where konoha doesn't work (for me it was another more realistic scenario the differences don't go away overnight just like the years of hatred rancor and deaths).

Thank you I'm glad you like the AU! And I 100% agree with the scenario that things work out, but not smoothly. Canon really paints the picture of things just working out without a hitch once Madara agrees to peace. Personally, I like to think Hashirama left out and diminished the actual struggles that most certainly would have appeared. And not just with clans suddenly being brought together and made to get over generations of bad blood between them, but the world at large too. Like, I doubt the rulers and lords who hired these clans to fight for their interests were very happy about it.

But no, everything is fine and good and great in Konoha. And the world and ruling class is totally cool with the unionization of these exploited clans hell they'll even stop their infighting and grabs for power and land just to make things easier.
