Dear Vector Prime, do Unicron's Four Horsemen exists anywhere else other than the Armada/Energon timeline?

Dear Eschatological Equestrian,

As I've discussed in the past, Unicron is not a creative god, and as such it's only natural for him to return to the same ideas on several occasions. One such incarnation of this unit consisted of dimensionally-abducted warriors, who were each claimed at a point in their timeline when they may otherwise have perished, ensuring a seed of loyalty with which Unicron was able to shackle them.

These horsemen consisted of:

...Death, a longtime servant of Unicron who had once been known as Battle Unicorn, and who was responsible for ensuring the Maximal Council were in no state to resist the Dark God's Culling.

...War, a Mach Kick who once followed the Liege Maximo, and who was plucked from battle, saving him from being bisected by Arcee.

...Pestilence, who had been Sir Sire, a noble member of the Maximal Army, only nano-kliks away from being converted into a Vehicon drone when Unicron "rescued" him.

And the last, whose kingdom had been usurped, and who had found himself on the chopping block, ready to lose his crown and cone at the hands of Mocklate. He had once been known as the noble King Candyhooves, but now was only Famine.

wada sez: In addition to being a longtime Transformers fan, Matt Marshall made something of a name for himself as a fanfiction writer in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom; his most notable work, “The Star In Yellow”, was released a year after this strip. Marshall clearly somewhat struggled to find enough Transformers to make the crossover work; we see Beast Wars Neo Mach Kick (a horse), Beast Machines Battle Unicorn, and Beast Machines Silverbolt (it’s long been theorised that his toy was originally intended to be a griffin, so he’s depicted here as a griffon, using his more show-accurate Beast Wars Returns colors). Also coincidentally, Battle Unicorn served as the basis for one of the better-known unproduced BotCon exclusive figure pitches, Twilight Sparkle Prime. Much of the artwork here is drawn directly from the cartoon, and most of the ponies appear to be generic; I’ve tagged the identifiable ones. I’m surprised that Marshall didn’t go for the low-hanging Unicron/unicorn joke, but that may well have informed his inclusion here in the first place. Dr. Hooves is a multiversal incarnation of the Doctor and I am tagging him accordingly. Marshall’s remastered version of this strip from his Tales From The Matrix Keeper zine is included below.

Sadly not. As far as I’m aware this was the only time one was ever a transformer customized in a similar manner:

Beast Wars Mach Kick into Derpy/Ditzy/Muffins/Bubbles. Even this isn’t really feasible as (1.) this toy is god awful to handle and (2.) it’s rare and expensive ($90+, if you can find one in the US).

I’m aware of loads of Transformers Animated style designs, and a fan made digibash botcon set from ~2013, but other than a handful of hand made repaints there isn’t an official TRANSFORMING MLP crossover figure, and I think that’s a shame..

Anyways @askranksandfamily and I are cooking up a character pertaining to this concept. I’ll tell more when the time is right~

Dear Vector Prime, Since I'm here, I have to ask you one question. Is there a group of Cybertronians whose alt modes are carnival rides? If so, then explain each of the members of that particular group.

Dear Amusement Appreciator, Years after her adventure with Powerglide, Astoria Carlton-Ritz decided to fund a Transformer-themed amusement park, and offered vast amounts of crude oil resources to any robots who would participate. Rodimus Prime approved of the venture, and several Autobots chose new alt-modes:

D-Go and his Liner Team became the park’s main attraction, the Rapid Run rollercoaster.

Grand Scrounge was happy to find a use for his alt-mode at last, as the park’s Ferris wheel.

Bumper, Crash Test, Ricochet, Crumplezone and Jolt formed the dodgems, spending most of their time begging their riders not to crash them into one another.

Mach Kick instituted the Thoroughbred Carousel Corps.

Whirl eagerly took on a new identity as “Tilt-a-Whirl”, though he didn’t quite get the idea of theme parks, believing this to be a human torture device.

Grandus housed the whole amusement park in his base mode. In honor of the Liner Team’s combined form, Sixliner, the park was named Sixflags.

hmmm... forgot that miles and kilometers are different when writing Your jeep. Your teeth. The coffee that you bought me..... mav would've fucking died if he crashed his motorcycle going 80 miles per hour... (aka 128 km per hour) also because he's a fucking weirdo and doesn't wear a helmet (which is mav's biggest ick in my opinion)
