Mach Kick and Longrack for Rare Pair August: Day 29 :D ~

Horseformers! Mach Kick in a weird colour scheme; Battle Unicorn getting his, like, third piece of official art ever in his 19 years of existence; and what I assume is the proposed, but never made, redeco of BU as Twilight Sparkle Prime.

Still no Magna Stampede, but there’s still one more issue left to feature all the named horseformers.

(The unnamed horseformers all come from IDW1, and have never been seen in robot mode.)

was thinking about how i really wanna get some jp beast wars II/neo stuff and remembered that mach kick is objectively the greatest TF toy of all time

Presenting: Mock Kick.

The dollar store had most of this line of Beast Wars/BW Neo knockoffs, with the two Japan-exclusive molds catching my interest. Long Rack’s arm was missing the fuckoff huge claw that makes it an arm, so I went with Mach Kick.

Special shoutouts to: - The upsidedown molded Autobot symbol in place of a Maximal spark crystal. - The thumb molded on the wrong side of his hand (not visible in pics). - The Shattered Glass Ricochet art on the card, despite the toy selection having no Jazz or Crosswise molds in it. Or, you know, vehicles. - Red horse slippers - No robot feet. Thanks. - Me bending the front horse legs the wrong way, shh. - The fused horse shoulder/chest sections, which then apparently needed new hinged flaps designed onto them anyway. - The kickass horse symbol in the RID2015-esque scan badge, which as far as I can tell isn’t from anything Transformers related. Somebody please tell me if A) you recognize the symbol and B) it unlocks anything in the RID2015 game.
