I know the kneejerk reaction to Mac Walters leaving Bioware will be another round of "Dreadwolf is Doomed" posts (who knows, it could be doomed for quite a host of completely unrelated reasons lol), but I've been bitter for a while over his... handling of the Mass Effect series, so I'm not exactly going to be all broken up about it.

Reading these ME: A books was meant to be my motivation to finish this game and I think they may be working, off to install the game and finally finish it in 2024!

I obviously needed a Cora Harper book to actually make me appreciate her character because she is definitely the most boring character, in my opinion. Everyone had so much going on and she just seemed to be the most generic character.

This actually gave her something, she is so lost and trying to find her way using the initiative program. Seeing her actually use this asari huntress training and powerful biotics was actually fun since the game didn't give me that at all.

That being said I didn't enjoy this as much as Annihilation, let's see how I rank them once I've read nexus uprising.

Kind of a crazy accidental metaphor that when undertaking the experiment that turns her into Sasquatch, this is what the dialogue is.

But that fails. She still needs glasses after the change. And yet when she ends up in Snowbird's body, suddenly she doesn't need glasses anymore... like what she was looking for was not fixed by becoming a hulk but it was fixed by "becoming" a woman. Absolutely not intentional but it does make my head go crazy.

If I had a nickel for every time MacCready was physically compared to Jesse Pinkman, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

If there were to be a parody, who'd be Walter? The Sole who can make and sell drugs, and just randomly hires someone to help them? Or Hancock, the one who not only has an association with drugs, but is also bald and has a bad relationship with his family? Someone else?

Miles Morales, Colleen Wing and Misty Knight had to deal with the annoying Agent Gao and the Cape Killers who interfered with them even though the Gang War is going on. Even She-Hulk's intervention doesn't work when Agent Gao stubbornly doesn't listen to her. Colleen and Misty get arrested by cops while Miles had to deal with the Cape Killers alone.
