TO THE ANON ASKING ABOUT KEITH TKACHUK

Keith tkachuk basically is fond of Ellie, look at how much Ellie looks similar to his wife. Keith has been inviting Ellie to Tkachuk family vactions for 4 years….Ellie and Matthew Tkachuk have NOT even been official for 4 years… inviting her to the lake on weekends, to Europe FAMILY vacations, to the games sitting with their family NOT the wags, inviting her to trips where not even Taryn or Bradys GF was present. Inviting Ellies mom to games very often as well. All while Mathew was with his various hookups, flings, & past girlfriends. Also, Ellie Connell mother and Chantal Tkachuk have been best friends since they were teenagers. The Connell family even has a house in Saint Louis near the Tkachuk home. Ellies mom and Chantal Tkachuk had been pushing for Matt to date Ellie but Matt was never interested hence his various flings throughout the years. Ellie obviously knew Matt was not interested in her but i mean the odds were in her favor since Matts own parents were practically setting up the entire relationship for her, and she herself wanted to be with Matt, so of course she played the game and went along. Once Matt got to florida Keith went overdrive in making sure Matt made it official with Ellie. Did u kno Matt did not want to walk the red carpet at the NHL awards with Ellie, but who do you think invited her anyway without informing Matt until hours before? KEITH. Ellie even had to borrow an item she wore that night from Taryn tkachuk last minute, since she didn’t even kno the color of suit Matt was wearing. Who do u think got Ellie introduced to the Florida wags & wag events even tho Matt had not paid wags fees, or wanted officially introduced to wags? Mr. KEITH himself. Keith liked Ellie for Matthew & was going to get Matthew to date her one way or another, its not necessarily that he has acted “inappropriate” towards HER or wanted her for himself-NO nothing like that, its about CONTROL for Keith. he wants to control every aspect of his sons lives. especially the black sheep of his kids-Mathew. Keith knew Ellies family well, shes blonde, all American persona, lowkey looks like Chantal tkachuk, she was in a sorority, the Connell family have the same political beliefs as Keith. There was no way Keith would approve of anyone besides Ellie Connell who he knew like a book.

i’ll use a prom analogy to better explain.

Keith =mom dress shopping with daughter. Mathew=daughter dress shopping for prom. Prom=life. Dresses=Girls Classmates=teammates

For Example:

mom likes a dress for u to wear to prom & u don’t think its ugly or anything is necessarily wrong with it-it’s actually a nice dress but its just not the type of dress YOU want for yourself. but ur mom keeps pushing it & saying how good it’d be if u chose the dress she liked (almost as if she’s living vicariously through u). U don’t give into her pressured, instead u got out on ur own and find a few dresses that are your type. U hide it from ur mom knowing she won’t approve, but when she finds out about the dresses you’ve been trying on she is FURIOUS. Now, when she see’s u she makes rude comments about the dresses u chose & acts passive aggressive making sure u know she disapproves. she tells u none of your classmates buy dresses that are colorful or that aren’t made in America & u’ll be the only one with a colorful dress & u’ll look ridiculous & she’s worked too hard for u to embarrass her. she tells u flat out that she doesn’t want u to get the Beige dress, or the brown dress, or the mixed Black black & white dress, or the yellow dress not even the Tan dress, she wants you to get the WHITE dress. U want her approval bc she’s always been hyper critical of u, so even tho the white dress is not ur type -it is a pretty dress & there’s nothing wrong with it, so to make ur parent happy and get her off ur case u pick the dress thinking to yourself well maybe it won’t be so bad after all….but remember you can LOOK good with the dress, ur parent can be pleased that u finally chose the dress THEY APPROVED, but if u don’t FEEL good u won’t be happy……at prom….

brady tkachuk's wedding is so fucking funny and it hasnt even happened yet. matthew is the best man and mark stone is a groomsman. those two just finished competing for the stanley cup, and they're probably gonna end up wearing matching suits and smiling for pictures together because they are brother and honourary-brother respectively to captain dweebus (brady). matthew might be in a half-body cast. there will be a bachelor party. there is a non-zero chance brady ends up shirtless and tending bar at his own reception. claude giroux might be there. most anticipated event of the summer and it's not even close

people came in to work today to tell me excitedly that the cats won the cup and okay for context i live in australia and i work in a coffee shop and my regulars are the oldest people on this whole earth .they are public servants and secretaries of public servants and the ones who aren’t are grad students who are younger than me and ough i felt the love of the world blanket me today <3 if you’ve ever had a well-meaning uncle/aunt/relative come up to you during some holiday celebration and ask vaguely about The Thing You Like because they saw it on the news and something in their lizard hindbrain zapped and went “oh that’s the Thing They Like” well . that happened to me about 50 times on my morning shift today. they think about me… they remember that i fell ass first into hockey and they paid attention each time i whined about it on shift when they asked how my weekend was… i feel so warm <3 love surrounds us <3 go cats <3 also Rob who gets a Large English Breakfast Tea with 2 sugars and a dash of milk (teabag out) is still a flames guy and when m.tkachuk said that shit about not letting edm win THAT WAS FOR YOU ROB!!!!! mwah. i love all my regulars so much. take it from me your barista does care and does love you back and thinks of you so fondly <3

new au idea (m.tkachuk!daughter) lmk ur thoughts!!

on december 17th, 2019, delilah/lilah was born. matthew has just turned 22 a few days ago, and he didn't want a kid. he told mom he'd pay for child support, but he didn't want to be a part of her life because he was too young, he was too into hockey.

he never bought any presents for her, simply sent a monthly stipend to mom bcz he didn't want any attachment. he gave a little more money than needed to mom, but it still wasn't much to him.

his parents weren't super happy, but they live with his decision. brady and taryn fought with him for a while, but then decided that she's their niece even if he doesn't want to be the dad. uncle brady and aunt taryn are a part of delilah's life and she loves them.

mom has a history of drug abuse, but she'd been clean for a few years when she met matthew. she'd collect the extra money he gave, promising it's for a bday present for lilah, but she ended up giving up and relapsing. she did this a few times, but no one found out and she always promised herself it'd be the "last time".

on april 5th, 2023, (lilah's 3) when brady went to visit mom and lilah in florida while he was versing his brother, he found mom high out of her mind. he basically ran in the house looking for lilah, and found her crying in a corner behind her bed, too scared to get out. brady took her and left.

he called matthew, who didn't pick up, so he ended up driving straight to his house. matthew opened the door and saw brady with a kid and was so confused until brady was like "it's your kid. this is delilah."

matthew's pissed like "why tf would you bring her here? i've already talked to her mom, we've got an agreement--"

"does that agreement still hold when she's high out of her mind?" brady asked. "when she's scared lilah so much she didn't want to come out from her corner behind the bed?"

and matthew's like ...shit. he looks at lilah, who's pretending to be asleep soundly in brady's arms and he doesn't know what to do anymore.

brady puts lilah on matthew's bed and is like to him, "look, idc what your problem is with having a kid. but her mom's got some issues, and at least until she works them out, you gotta watch her. she's your kid." and when matthew looks unconvinced, he adds, "yk what? if you don't want her, fine. but you're still her dad, and legally, her guardian. i need you to watch her until taryn or i can get custody."

and matthew snaps out of it and he's like, "i don't need one of you guys to take custody. she's my kid. i've got her."

and brady's shocked bcz that's the first time matthew's acknowledged it, but he's feeling accomplished, so he heads out.

matthew looks at lilah sleeping in his much too big bed and is like, "brady's gone. are you still gonna pretend to be asleep?"

and lilah opens her eyes and sits up, looking matthew in the eyes. she doesn't ask him if he's her dad, she doesn't ask him where she is, she simply goes, "are you gonna keep me away from mommy?"

matthew sighs and lilah flinches (which breaks his heart) but he sits on the floor and is like, "your mommy is not feeling good right now. until the doctors can get her better, until she can get herself better, you'll be staying with me."

and lilah's like, "i don't wanna go back to mommy. she's scary. can i stay with you? you're uncle brady's brother, right? my dad?"

and matthew doesn't know how to answer the first question, so he just nods and goes, "yeah, i'm your dad. and i know you've got a hundred more questions, but right now, you need to sleep, okay? you had a long day."

"can i hold your hand?" lilah asks. "mommy ripped apart my bernie (a stuffy she has) and now i need to hold something."

so matthew scooches a little closer and let's lilah wrap her tiny fingers around his hand and she falls asleep for real this time.

and for the first time, matthew's feeling this connection with a kid he never even saw, and he's like "i'm not letting anyone hurt you like that again, i promise."

to answer the anon question about Mathew tkachuk i have one. He had hooked up with a girl but at the time she didn’t know he was big in hockey( this was years ago ) so she did a story time on tiktok when she found out that he was actually an NHL player. It was a canadian girl from Alberta i believe. she was not blonde or brunette she was a black girl. i did save the tiktok when i originally saw it in a folder that now has like 400 vids 🤦🏻‍♀️so if i can find it i’ll send it in if any of y’all want!

Tbf I’ve always been closer to my boyfriend’s sister than his brother. I’m sure Brady and Ellie like each other. There’s videos of them high fiving and smiling back in Calgary and him encouraging her to lift the Stanley Cup telling her she’s a wag so she can lift it and then something else after I couldn’t hear. But I see where people see the follow thing weird. But I’m also not someone who puts too much weight into that.

What's interesting to me is the cognitive dissonance in Matt allegedly being almost exclusively into woc and the Tkachuk's allegedly being tr*mp supporters. Unless the interest in these woc is purely sexual in a fetishized way (big yikes if so), how do you support a man who thinks poc are dirty criminals that are below white people while simultaneously being with women from the very same ethnicities he denigrates? You'd think he would question it at some point, especially since he's been allegedly into woc for ages. And while I'm sure he's not the only hockey player who holds similar views while being into woc, it really baffles me.

It's so hard to know as the tkachuks keep all that so quiet but matthew at times has been more outspoken on non conservative matters like the LGBTQ+ so I could see if maybe he wasn't himself so much as his family is 🤷🏼‍♀️

Again we'll probably never know where he or Brady fall as they will never said publicly
