BATMAN

I made some music for Batman! 😁 I was listening to Danny Elfman’s OST for the most famous detective in the whole world, and it’s just astonishing that orchestral atmosphere that reflects perfectly the character of the movie. Then I listened once more to what Zimmer did for Gotham’s Dark Knight, a music where the percussion is more impactful. I also listened to what Michael Giacchino (who has already created beautiful melodies, like the one for “Ellie” in the wonderful “Up”) created for the recent movie The Batman (that song called Can’t Fight City Halloween is... genius ❤️). And I thought to myself: “Could a different music suit Batman?” So I tried something more electronic, reflecting the giving-punch-machine Bruce Wayne becomes when he wears his bat suit 😁 , at the same time, I tried that something more ominous that Batman represents.

¡Hice música para Batman! 😁 Estaba escuchando la banda sonora de Danny Elfman para el detective más famoso del mundo, y quedo embelesado con la atmósfera orquestal que encapsula a la perfección el carácter de la peli. Luego repasaba la música que Zimmer hiciera para el caballero oscuro de Gótica, en donde la percusión tiene más impacto, más protagonismo. También le prestaba atención a lo que Michael Giachinno (quien ya nos ha dejado melodías preciosas, como, por ejemplo, las notas de “Ellie” en la preciosa “Up”) compuso para la peli más reciente The Batman (ese tema llamado Can’t Fight City Halloween me parece una genialidad ❤️). Y me dio por preguntarme: ¿podría al hombre murciélago venirle bien música con otro carácter? E intenté algo más electrónico, que reflejara la máquina repartidora de mamporros en la que Bruce Wayne se convierte con su batitraje 😁, así como algo de la atmósfera amenazante que trae consigo el paladín de Gótica.
