Once again a reminder that Trump is first and foremost a grifter. He said he wanted to ban TikTok because at the time that was beneficial to him. He’s allowing TikTok to be un-banned now because it’s beneficial to him. It is not some grand conspiracy, nor is it rocket science, or some behind-the-scenes chess being played between big tech and politicians. It’s all right here out in the open. TikTok wanted their American users back because we make up the bulk of their platform (and profit), and Trump wanted to be able to claim victory on this issue to win over young voters.

It’s just rich people supporting rich people - that will be the story of this administration.
