Recentoy watched the amazing Glyndebourne production of Händel's Alcina, so I wanted to post this old picture I had done of the girls.
While not appearing in the Furioso, Morgana plays an important role as Supernatural villain in the Innamorato. Boiardo gave her both elements of Breton fairies (underwater Other World, kidnapped lover, white deer with golden antlers) and of the Italian depiction of Fortune: she has short hair and Roland needs to chase her and grab her by her forelock to succeed. She also found much success in Italian folklore, where she became the go-to evil fairy of Folktales. In the South, she's believed to live on a floating palace on the Strait of Messina and to be the Mother of fairies and Donne di Fora.Alcina appears in both chivalry poems, and is a cunning sorceress who lures the knights Astolfo and Roger on her island and traps them there, before turning them into plants, rocks and animals out of boredom. But when Roger escapes thanks to the witch Melissa, the beautiful Fairy discovers the pain of abandonment and loss. She too found a place in Italian legends, where she was identified with the Sibyll Queen, ruler of the fairies. Händel based his opera "Alcina" on this facinating figure.Logistilla was invented by Ariosto, and her story is an allegory about the hardships at overcomming pleasures and vices in pursuit of reason and virtue (her name comes from the greek λόγος, "word", "reasoning"). Before reaching her truth-revealing castle, full of technological and magical wonders, Roger must go through the dangers of the fairy island, while resisting Alcina's temptations. It's probably because of her allegorical nature that Logistilla barely had an impact on the folk tradition. She only appears in the tale of "the Groundhog Queen", collected by Gherardo Nerucci and Italo Calvino, under the name Lugistella. I tried to use an astral theme with these characters, since Alcina is compared to the Sun too.

Another love assails Bireno’s breast, Who leaves one night Olympia on the shore. To Logistilla’s holy realm addressed, Rogero goes, nor heeds Alcina more: Him, of that flying courser repossest, The hippogryph on airy voyage bore: Whence he the good Rinaldo’s levy sees, And next Angelica beholds and frees. -Canto X, Orlando Furioso by Ludovico Ariosto [1474-1533]

RF-a01 Logistilla [1, 2, 3, 4]
Concept for a male Symphogear system called Resoframe. The earlier draft shows the feature to link the Frame with the larger Build (Relics repurposed as mechs).
I was getting tired of people saying Symphogear isn’t mecha because it doesn’t have giant robots, and XDU’s 4th anniversary event opened up a window of possibilities that I don’t see anyone else exploring. So I came up with these delusions.I changed the spelling of Logistilla several times (it’s officially Logistille in Type-Moon and PhanKill). I also changed Leo’s color scheme from purple to light blue, after noticing that Miku and Carol are assigned as purple in Dan Yoshii’s 10th anniversary art.

Interesting, Morgan is also the Morrigan who perched on Cu's shoulder as he died in the form of a crow, since she has a line for Cu being flustered and denying it (but it's PHH Morgan who was the Morrigan, of course, so she's not lying). She was a villain for the Paladins as well and her two other sisters are Alcina the Evil Witch and Logistilla the Good Witch.

FGO Part 2 Opening 2 Theories - Characters (2/2)
Fairy
If we go with a “what if Prototype” perspective, this fairy looks a lot like Manaka due to the seemingly short blonde hair, blue eyes and overall blue colour scheme. So it could be Manaka acting as someone’s vessel.
If we don’t go with that, this fairy could be Titania, as she looks quite regal.
Some think that she’s Morgan Le Fay, since Morgan has always been called “fairy princess” in Fate, with Tristan’s interlude being the more recent example. She’s also standing near a body of water, and Morgan is also a fairy of the lake (Salter’s profile describes her as Vivian’s dark counterpart). I don’t think that might be the case because she doesn’t really look that much like Morgan to me. There might be Lostbelt shenanigans involved that make her look different or maybe this is a different ascension or something, but in Apocrypha, Morgan’s hair was much straighter and paler.
A wild theory is that this fairy is actually Oberon, who is either just super pretty or maybe a genderbend. Something noteworthy about Oberon is that he’s usually is the son Morgan le Fay and Julius Caesar... Which is kinda weird due to the time periods they lived in but never mind that.
Someone pointed out that it looks like the fairy is missing a tooth...?
Blondie with Merlin’s staff
If we went with “what if Prototype”, this could easily be Proto Merlin. However, she looks very different from regular Merlin, which isn’t the case for almost every Prototype Servant, with Perseus being the sole exception (compare Proto to Hollow Ataraxia, both versions are datamined btw), even the ones who are different people like Artoria and Arthur. Honestly, if this does end up being Proto Merlin, I’ll be super disappointed because we got robbed of a fabulous fluffy female Merlin for another Saberface.
My two main ideas were that this could be either Vivian or Melissa.
Vivian, the Lady of the Lake, was Merlin’s apprentice and had some kind of relationship with him until things turned sour and she trapped in the Tower, so it would make sense for her to have a similar staff. Though, her outfit makes her look very young.
Melissa actually isn’t a pure Arthurian character, but she comes from Orlando Furioso, where she was the Paladins’ guide and helped Bradamante get to her hubby Rogero. Melissa came to mind because she was also Merlin’s apprentice and even watched over his tomb, so her relationship with him wasn’t as bad as with Vivian and it would justify her carrying a similar staff. Her outfit also reminds me a lot of Bradamante, who actually mentions being helped by “Merlin’s apprentice” in her lines and profile.
A wild theory is that she’s actually the awaited Caster Artoria due to the hair and the sword at her back. If Artoria took to magecraft and never became the king, then maybe that would explain how things ended so badly for the world of LB6.
Three Gals
These ones confuse me the most. The one in the middle I don't even know where to start, all I know is that armour gives me Saber Alter vibes and the visor seems to have a flower? They all have some form of headgear, but Morgan's crown is a lot bigger and more elaborate.
If we follow the idea that the blonde girl with Merlin's staff is Melissa, then the giant lady might be Marfisa (Rogero's badass twin sister who was separated from him at birth) and the girl with the half-crown might be Alcina (their story’s equivalent of Circe, something that the actual Circe mentions in her profile lines for the Paladins). Alcina in particular is interesting because she is Morgan's sister in Orlando Furioso. Together they were the evil sisters to Logistilla's good.
A very crazy theory is that they're all supposed to represent Morgan or maybe The Morrigan (maybe even both because Case Files brings up a connection between the two). The Morrigan are a triad while in Garden of Avalon, Sir Kay described Morgan as if she "had three women in her" due to how she changed. He mentioned her being "innocent like a fairy, then magnificent like a warrior maiden and then gaining the brutality of a witch."
In Case Files there was also a dagger called "Erosion" that had the ability to split the soul from the body and put it elsewhere. It was going to be used by the King Arthur Revival cult to remove Gray's soul from her body so she could become Artoria's vessel. That dagger belonged to Morgan, so it's possible she removed those different parts from herself and made them into homunculi bodies or something, assuming they weren't already split.
Knight
My first thought was Sir Kay. Sir Kay came to mind because I really want him in the game already. Okay, but on a serious note, thanks to Add in Case Files (Morgan modeled Add’s personality after Kay’s), Kay has a connection to Rhongomyniad, a major element teased for LB6. I’ve also seen some pictures comparing the top of the knight’s armour to the little peek we got at Kay, though it’s hard to tell because in the one shot we got, Kay’s right side had a tattoo while the knight only showed his left side. His hair also looks a lot more spiky and messier than Kay’s.
My second thought was Sir Percival, mostly because of the stabby spear weapon, and because as another candidate to the Grail Quest (confirmed by Gareth in her My Room line for the Grail), he’d be a good foil to Mr. “Not Appearing in this Opening” Galahad, who went out to for cigarettes ever since the events of the Temple of Time.
A wild theory would be Sir Galehaut, who in some stories was famous for being Arthur’s equal in power and only surrendered because he was really into Lancelot. Unfortunately, this epic bromance didn’t last both because Galehaut understood that Lancelot loved Guinevere and because Morgan was a jealous bitch who made Galehaut die of a broken heart after sending him fake news about Lancelot dying. The main thing that ties this knight to Galehaut is the fact that the knight looks like a big dude and Galehaut was half-giant. However, Galehaut is mentioned in Gareth’s profile as one of the knights she defeated, so it’s possible that they’re going for a different version of the story.

Meet Logan! 💙
Her full name is Logistilla. It is a French name meaning 'daughter of a legend'. She accepts the rarity of her birth name, but she introduces herself to others as Logan, preferring this nickname above all else. Other nicknames include Lo, Lola or Logie (what Genderbend! Patton calls her).
She is an introverted, analytical bookworm that enjoys Crofters and brainteasers (such as crossword puzzles and riddles). She is an avid chess player, she loves poetry and astronomy, and she partakes in meditation. She doesn't like sports that require a lot of physical skill, so she likes swimming and yoga.
She owns several different types of sweaters because she's constantly cold all the time (and she unabashedly complains about it all the time). Though she's modest about it, she cares a great deal about her appearance. She is knowledgeable enough to do a full face of makeup (she goes a natural look almost all the time), and she doesn't mind wearing dresses. Not only does she own one of those 'NASA' t-shirts, she definitely has a lot of galaxy clothing. Her outfits are simple and sophisticated.
The clever, bright young woman known as Logan may come off as harsh and intense at first, but that is because she cares strongly about her reputation and her duties as the side 'Logic'. Her brilliant, problem solving mind comes before her emotions, causing her to seem apathetic, when in reality all she was taught to do was think pragmatically. She has the mindset of many outdated stereotypes and ideals, which would explain why she feels the need to keep up the persona of a lady who 'can't do this, and can't do that'. She is very much aware of her strength as a woman, but sometimes she can't help but be tempted into following what society deems 'logical'-things like the 'ideal' body and weight of women, and how they should cover up and not wear anything revealing.

“Experiment with what..?” Nix had a bad feeling about this.

The Great Chaldea Discourse of which of tge Pendragon sisters is the most unhinged one. All of Morgan's kids vote Morgan. Morgan also votes Morgan, mostly because she has no idea who these other people are. Castoria is championing the "it's Artoria you dumb fucks" campaign. All of Charlemagne's bitches voted Alcina in solidarity to Astolfo. Astolfo didn't actually vote Alcina he voted Logistilla because he thought no one else would remember she exists.

‘ sit still and let me take a look! ’ ( logistilla to sieg bc why not? )
( @sanctuscalix )
He nodded and sat on the beds in the infirmary, an unreadable expression on his has as he allowed Logistilla to look him over, he even took his shirt off when asked to. When she got to his chest, she would find a large gash cutting across his chest. “My apologies...I just couldn’t sit back and let those monsters hurt Astolfo.” The former master began then he winced and looked down at his hands, sure he had taken a hit for his former servant but..that hit had almost taken him out. He clenched his hands into fists and sighed. “I...I just don’t understand how I’m so weak still....even as a servant I can’t do anything.” The sorceress could tell at this point that it wasn’t only physical pains that the male Caster was feeling but mental ones as well.

the faerie woman knocked on the door gently. it was hard to get karna isolated as of late, considering astolfo was practically glued to his hip when the two weren't busy with their own tasks. but logistilla wanted to get to know the man, wanted to talk to the man that captured the paladin's heart. "lancer? may i speak to you?" she held a picnic basket of food, wishing to invite him for dinner as well.
Karna opens the door, having been resting after an eventful few days. He wasn’t expecting anyone but Astolfo at the time. Not that he often entertained guests, he really wasn’t one to talk to. “You are speaking to me,” he replies bluntly.
