Random ass headcanons I have for Miguel because I like him

Miguel was originally right-handed but trained himself to become ambidextrousness.

He really really hates garlic.

Doesn't have playlists and just listens to songs on shuffle.

Is a cat person. (Finds them relatable)

Has a near perfect memory.

Pays for most of the spider-society's rent.

Can speak to spiders.

If Miguel doesn't take certain medicine he will become more animalistic and outwardly spider-like.

Miguel is 27 years old.

Babies and old people love him.

The spider part of him is a female wolf, m. balfouri, black widow, Goliath birdeater hybrid plus a few other various species.

Finds dancing very attractive.

Is among one of the physically strongest Spider-Men.

Horses creep him out.

Uses he/it/she pronouns but only Lyla knows this.

Had a whole gender crisis when it found out it was 50% female.

Spider adjacent things find Miguel hot.

oh abso if you wanna. I am either speedy jim or slow as hell with art and these guys are fighting me

they're pretty standard guys. usually trussed up in mk vii or vi (1. I love my beakies 2. I want them to embody janky rogue trader space marines). orange as hell. I'm still deciding how I wanna go about their markings (P. murinus, like a lot of african tarantula species, have a bit of a "starburst" on their backs and dots on their butts, plus iridescent blue/green inner feet) for their armour but a not insubstantial number of astartes just have them tattooed

Sazimai, like all previous chapter masters, actually specifically has the whole pattern including blue palm tattoos funfact. I've been slowly slowly whittling away at a big fic regarding the campaign where he ascended and that scene is in there :3

armour is rough ngl. I've been playing around with slight differences between portions of the chapter, since their structure is a little more horizontal than the codex wants. e.g. librarians with blue vambraces (since M. balfouri is the species most commonly kept in communal enclosures -- most other species will eat each other) and apothecaries with red (hides blood). lots of em like to mess around with different ways to have fangs -- Sazimai has implants, Cyrio has gelled up and dyed bangs, Lyvar has tattoos + they're painted on his helmet, etc

Minoranae, their homeworld, has varied climates because I say so but a good portion of it IS cactus-and-tumbleweed-ridden and dusty southwest usa vibes and several astartes can and do wear jeans and chaps in their free time, since the fortress monastery is more over there. there's also a fuckhueg jungle tho and sometimes an aspirant is never gonna let go of being from the jungle. either way you're gettin white shirts with ripped off sleeves

Been very much in love with my new spider gal OC, whose colours are based off of a Monocentropus Balfouri Tarantula! 

She’s a witch who betrayed other members her own species (aka giant man-eating spiders) to ensure her own survival by helping some honeybees. 

Currently just trying to figure out her anatomy and shapes because staying on model with her is preeeeeetty hard,,,therefore her design may still experience small changes

Found Vexx dead. That's 5 dead spiders this year already. I know slings are fragile, I know, I know sling death happens to every keeper eventually. But I'm definitely not getting any new spiders for the foreseeable future. This is too much. I only have Candy, Starlight, Tigermis, Kali, and two M. balfouris left. My plants are also dying left and right for reasons I can't figure out. This winter has been rough.
