Flashback!!
“He bit me!”
It was the most she’d said all week, and Alarin Whitethorn jolted in his chair at the volume of it. A pale-spotted saber cub streaked round the corner and flattened under the dresser with fur on end and ears pinned back; close behind stormed the girl, angrily brandishing a bloodied palm.
“I picked him up, and he bit me!”
“Lymbre did tell you he’s finicky about that.” Alarin glanced to the shadow of the cub’s tail thumping under the dresser and rose to rummage through a basket by the window. “I’m sorry, but that’s how they respond when they feel harassed.”
“But I wasn’t trying to hurt him! I just wanted to hold him!” Amil’aeth was fleetingly surprised by the sharp indignity in her own voice—at eleven years old it felt strange now to speak any louder than a murmur after years of quiet.
“I know you weren’t, child, but he doesn’t understand that yet.” The wiry druid returned to the table with a bundle from the basket and began unwrapping a small pouch that gave off a bitter, slightly pungent smell. “Come here, this will help the bite.”
Amil’aeth paused, suddenly wary of the man again. She didn’t fear Alarin quite so much as she did the unfamiliar friendliness of his wife, but her instincts still held her back from putting herself in his reach. Perhaps as if sensing her unease, he gestured patiently to the seat across from himself and softened his tone. “It’ll sting only for a moment, and then it’ll be done.”
She battled within herself a while, then reluctantly edged over to the empty chair, lifting her wounded palm up at Alarin’s direction. She flinched as he took hold of her wrist, but forced herself to hold her arm still as he dipped his fingers into the pouch and began daubing a yellowish ointment onto the bite marks.
“He still didn’t have to do that,” she muttered behind the unkempt sheet of hair falling over her face. It had grown long enough that combing and washing it was a frustrating ordeal, but still she refused to allow Lymbre close enough to cut away the excess. “I would have let him go if I knew.”
“And were he older and trained, he may have chosen a less harsh message. But he is young still—he wanted to be left alone, and in his eyes this was the easiest way to let you know that.” Alarin finished working the remainder of the ointment into the injury and began binding gauze onto her hand. “Haven’t you ever lost your patience when someone wouldn’t leave you alone, Ilyssae?”
Amil’aeth went quiet in thought, trying to ignore how awkward her new alias still sounded to her. It was true, she had lost her temper a little with Mother and during the harassment in Darnassus. Still, it didn’t sound wise to admit most of these ended with her accidentally blowing something up because she got upset. She settled instead for just nodding in silence.
“Then you see? It’s not all that different for animals. You cannot fault them for reacting the same way with what limited ways of communication they have. In the future, perhaps you can help Shroud to feel safer around you by watching for his signs of discomfort, and responding in kind.”
A small movement caught Amil’aeth’s eye. She turned to see the cub crouching across the room, watching her with wide, tawny eyes. “What if he bites me again?” she questioned. It was hard to imagine approaching those quick fangs again soon.
“It might happen anyways, at least until he learns not to. That’s just how cubs are—mouthy. But if it does, we’ll just patch it up again. It didn’t take long at all, did it?”
“I guess not…” He released her hand, and she pulled it back to herself, eyeing the new bandage.
It was the most Alarin had said to her since she’d made it to Astranaar the week prior, and the strangeness of how easy the conversation had been kept her pondering through the night. It wasn’t until dawn, when she was bedding down, that she realized why it gave her a small ache.
Theledron was the last adult who had been so patient with her, four years ago in the Maul. Muddled as her memories of that time had become, it still stung to miss the feeling of safety—home—he’d given her.

Find Out The Benefits Of Assisted Stretching
Stretch therapy or stretching has gained immense popularity lately, and rightly so, due to the nature of the therapy that not only ensures you have a relaxing experience, but also plays a crucial role in relieving pain and aiding in quick recovery from a painful injury. Attain these benefits in the hands of certified therapists that exactly know how to offer the treatment for you to reap all its benefits.

Lymbr Body in New York is one such acclaimed provider of certified Lymbr therapists NYC having more than 15 years of massage expertise while being adept at all the latest stretching techniques.
Here are some of the benefits of massage therapy and assisted stretching:
Relief from pain- It is a well-known fact that stretching is commonly used by sportspeople to ease pain from injuries to (untoward) accidents. Stretching has been found to effectively counteract the effects of pain that can interfere with day-to-day activities.
Relief from stress- There’s no running away from stress in today’s day and age. It has become an inseparable part of our lives. This can lead the body to experience tension. This if not tackled sooner could lead for the muscle tissues to tighten. Thus assisted stretching is what you should consider. It will open up your muscles. Also, stretching aids in the release of the feel-good hormones endorphins. This can have a calming impact as well as make the mind more alert.
Boosts blood flow- Assisted stretching on a regular basis can keep your blood pressure in check while improving flow of blood to the muscle tissues.
Better posture- Assisted stretching supports improved posture in individuals. You’ll stand and sit straight with your muscles working as you stretch by way of (the muscles) being strengthened and lengthened. In this regard, it must also be mentioned that stretching makes us more flexible that allows having a greater range of motion in the joints.

Also, do not let age limit you or the things you can do. Assisted stretching can reap immense benefits for older adults including relief from arthritis, increased circulation and high energy levels, reduced risk of falling, improved sleep, and more. It allows them to stay in their best shape with greater strength, improved flexibility and endurance.
Nourish your mind, body and soul with active stretches customized to the needs and goals of clients of all fitness levels for them to achieve the results they are looking for in the hands of a certified therapist at Lymbr Body that will bring their expertise and experience for clients to carry out activities without limitations eventually resulting in improved performance and productivity.
At Lymbr Body, Streto Method is one of our most sought-after techniques that employ active stretching techniques inspired by chiropractic practices.
