elena was working a late night at the dinner, but thankfully it was slow and she could go over some of her homework. pre-med was hard but she liked the challenge. she was doing what she always wanted and it was exciting helping people at the clinic. she wondered if her dad would be proud. both of them. she heard the bell ring and looked up and said  ❝take a seat anywhere, i’ll be right with you❞ she shut her book and grabbed silver ware and some water  ❝hi i’m elena what can i get you?❞

To be honest, Katniss hated parties.  They reminded her of the Capitol, and that tour after winning the hunger games, all of which were memories she tried to avoid.  There were a long list of memories she tried to avoid actually.  Katniss sighed, deciding she was done here and moved back towards him when a girl in her path made her stop dead in her tracks.  She looked just like Prim.  The sight of her alone was enough to break Katniss, tears forming in her eyes but she just shook her head and picked up her pace.  “Sorry.”

How Finnick had gone from being in the Capitol to being...wherever here was, he didn’t know.  But whatever it was, it felt like both a blessing and a curse.  He was delighted to be away from Snow and the fear he lived with every day.  But, he didn’t know anyone here and was vaguely lost.   Seeing someone who seemed vaguely friendly he stopped them. “Excuse me, do you know where I could buy some food?  My house is rather empty.”
