A thing that bothered me quite a bit back then was when people were saying that Luz in "thanks to them" was cold with hunter when he was crying, I honestly didn't think that she didn't care about him,she was just exhausted and she still conforted him by giving him a little hug and being understanding,sometime people don't know how to confort people or are just too tired (remember that Luz was (and still is) pretty much traumatized so it's obvious that she was pretty much not her usual self)

So I think that it was actually realistic: no talking,just silent confort,she also said that he was family now.

Honestly I love their bond,they went through a lot
