Okay but what would be funnier than The Bright Queen seeing Ashton and his dunamantic beacon brain and being like, this is it, they are the messiah.
My brain is just running Life of Brian sketches
"Just FUCK OFF!"
"How should we fuck off o lord?"
Fearne yelling "He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy"

I know I'm probably wrong, but I still wanna get this theory out of my head before I'm proven wrong. (Also, I don't know if anyone else has theorized on this, I only started watching campaign 3 less than 2 months ago.)
What if the Luxon beacons are the crystalized essence of Vordo, the Fateshaper(One of gods Predathos ate)? As far as I'm aware, we don't really know how god eating works, but I feel like it can't be the same as eating a sandwich? What if part of it is that the god goes poof? Their essence would be scattered, but what if it crystalized? The crystals, while not as powerful as the god themself, would still be extremely powerful artefacts.
What if the entire story of the Luxon was created through divine interference to prevent knowledge of Predathos from being uncovered? That would explain why the Luxon doesn't respond to their followers. What if they never existed? What if instead of the Luxon being in stasis, the entity that the beacons came from was already dead?
(*Side note for Luxon lovers on how we can still win, even if this were the case: Entities can be reborn. Gods can be reborn. Molly and Kingsley were reborn from the shattered fragments of Lucien's soul. The power of mortals' belief has been shown to be be very strong, via Sarenrae in c1 and Artagan in c2. With the majority of a country's worship, the Luxon could possibly come into being, either as a reborn of Vordo or as an entity of their own.)

thinking about the scene in the Eternal Palace when the gods ran from their home to find Exandria and how the Ruiner literally destroyed the Palace to create shards of light and force to protect them from Oblivion and how the Luxon Beacons are shards of possibility and wondering if the Luxon truly is just remnants of the Eternal Palace that were brought to Exandria along with the gods and were scattered across. There were locations in Tengar like the Unbroken Shard and the Orchard of Possibility that made me think of dunamancy in many ways. I'm just twiddling my thumbs trying to think about how the Luxon mythology weaves into this. Because Aeor HEAVILY worked with dunamancy and was researching it. They had more information of the divine and divinity than anyone else in history, perhaps even more than Vasselheim because there's a difference to study something in a theological sense than a scientific way. So maybe the development of the Latimus Princeps and Factorum Malleus had a lot to do with dunamancy considering how desperately the Cerberus Assembly was trying to get those beacons and study them.

re: All the Predathos, Luxon, god eating food chain stuff they're talking about on 4sd: I believe that the Luxon and Predathos are equal in terms of power level, but are distinctly different beings.
Iirc, Matt confirmed somewhere that the Luxon is/was real and that the dynasty is not a cult, which implies that there's some truth to their creation myth. According to them, the Luxon visited Exandria and imbued it with magic, creating the Primordials, and then split itself apart into beacons to help mortals thrive. Then, from mortals belief, gods are born.
If Predathos is a god-eater, then maybe the Luxon is a god-maker.
Despite not being a member of Exandria's pantheon, the Luxon fuels the faith of an entire culture. Predathos, similarly, is not a member of the pantheon, but apparently has an entire cult (and maybe even has a whole city of worshipers up on the moon). Both of them have associations with fate/reality, both of them influence people significantly with magic, and both of them are sort of proto-beings with very vague domains.
Pretty much every other lesser deity is has a physical presence in the world and veeery few other non-gods have impacts as large as the Luxon or Predathos. They seem to be on equal standing, but the Luxon could be more powerful than Predathos just based on following.
Who knows maybe the only way to defeat Predathos once and for all is to reunite all the beacons and summon the Luxon back in its full power...

Though Lolth cannot sense the will or power of the Luxon, she is entirely bent on destroying the Luxon's followers and their memory.
Taken from the Spider Queen's wiki page that in turn took it from the Guide to Wildemount rulebook.
This means something! Not only Lolth's relationship with Opal-Ted but her relationship with the Drow -her supposed creation- now passionately worshipping the Luxon which she despises. So juicy!!!!

Just had a thought.
The Luxon is separated into the Beacons.
The Beacons are scattered across Exandria.
If Predathos tries to eat the Luxon, then it would need to tear apart Exandria to do so.

Christopher Luxon's gang patch policy is irresponsible and will lead to increased racism against Māori.
Christopher Luxon plans to give the cops power to break up gangs and make wearing gang patches an offence. But what counts as a gang patch? What proof of gang membership do the cops need to break up groups? The cops are already proven to be racist against Māori. "Gangs" are already a racist dog whistle used by the right against Māori. Giving the government this power gives the cops another excuse to target Māori.
Can we really trust Aotearoa's cops to identify specific gang patches from a distance? This policy could very well lead to cops targeting anyone who wears anything that sort of looks like a gang patch. Unless all cops have an extensive knowledge of gang patches, an eagle eye, and good morals, this policy is ridiculous.
Certain cops will have different ideas about what counts as a "gang". There are people who will call any political cause they disagree with a "gang". This policy could empower cops to intimidate or even break up groups of antifa, queers, anti-racists, etc. This policy could be a tool of political suppression.
Christopher Luxon's a dickhead who does not belong in government.

What if Predathos, the God-Eater, is the Luxon? The dunamis magic they're using is just parts left over from the battle with the gods, who came to Exandria after the Luxon, banished Predathos because of reasons??? Like, this is my world why fuck it up with your shit??? Oh my god I don't know but feeding the Malleus Key concentrated Beacon magic/dunamis/dunamatic magic is just leaving me with questions????

the luxon is such an interesting god for so many reasons. it's fascinating. its the only god who's followers do not primarily wield divine magic. in fact, it's worship is defined by a school of arcane magic and some characters even say the luxon is the source of dunamis, which is distinctly arcane. it's also the only god other than tharizdun that has an amorphous/non-physical appearance. it is the only god to have such a large following but also have so little historical prevalence and not have a prime or betrayer title. it is the only god who's religion has a proper creation myth. the luxon beacons are totally unique and no other gods have anything like them. it is the only god that is connected to genuine rebirth and reincarnation rather than a more traditional afterlife. like what the fuck is up with that ? what is the luxon actually?
