I love the fact that voice actors related to Lupin Series were cast as Arsène Lupin and Lupin II.

- He admired Yasuo Yamada who acted as Lupin III from the first TV series when he was in the same theatre company. Actually, he was almost decided as a successor after Yamada-san passed away in 1995. He also performed as Toshio in “Lupin III VS Cat’s Eye” for the first time in a while. (For me, he is Captain Hastings in ITV’s Poirot of the Japanese dub version.)

- He performed as Lupin III in “Fuma Conspiracy” in 1987 but he was heavily criticised by audiences since the casting was changed in the film from the original TV series. Nowadays, it has been once again recognized and he commented when he got the role of Lupin II in Lupin Zero: ‘I’m proud of myself for taking part of such a big famous series like Lupin III TWICE!’ (He is well known as Piccolo in Dragon Ball and Ataru in Urusei Yatsura etc…)

Lupin III vs Cat's eye will NOT EVER be canon to A Phantom Thief for Ran.

France is getting a live action "Cat's Eye" television series, starting on TF1 and TF1+ this September!

The show will come in the form of eight episodes, and each will run for around 52 minutes in length. While the set-up is similar to the original animated series and manga, this retelling will take place during the modern day, in 2023.

A world-wide release on Amazon Prime Video is planned, however air dates outside of France are currently unconfirmed.

The story synopsis is as follows:

"The series traces the story of “Cat's Eyes” back to its roots, and follows the adventures of the three Chamade sisters as they improvise a series of daring heists around the French capital's most iconic (and security-conscious) monuments.

It's 2023, and Alexia, Tam and Sylia are reunited in the City of Light after many years apart. At the same time, a work of art that belonged to their father – who had died ten years earlier in a mysterious fire at his art gallery – reappears in a prestigious exhibition at the Eiffel Tower. The sisters decide to risk everything to steal the painting, in the hope that they will finally solve the mystery of what happened to their father. The trio soon find themselves in the crosshairs of Quentin Chapuis, commissioner of the French police's Organised Crime Unit (BRB), who is tasked with arresting these new, elusive art thieves. But what he doesn't know is that one of them is none other than Tam, the great love of his life…

To celebrate the occasion, the larcenous ladies are crossing paths with none other than the monkey-faced thief himself. That's right, we're reviewing the brand new film "Lupin III vs Cat's Eye!"

Lupin the Third vs. Cat’s Eye ONA Movie Review ルパン三世VSキャッツ・アイ Lupin III vs. Cat’s Eye A year or so ago, I did a video on my second YouTube channel talking about Lupin the Third vs. Cat’s Eye. As a huge Lupin III fan, and as someone aware of the Cat’s Eye franchise, I was interested in seeing this latest crossover movie. Plus, this was an Amazon thing, so I was curious about it. For Arsene Lupin III and Jigen Daisuke :

The start of be gay do crime! Jigen literally buys Lupin flowers while Lupin calls him "Jigen-chan" but they also shoot and kill and steal!!!

Lupin and Jigen have been Partners in Crime (and more) for over 50 years of media history. From the very beginning, when Jigen thinks Lupin has died in Part 1 episode 13 he openly weeps, tears streaming down his face and everything. Earlier that same episode Lupin tells Jigen he looked sexy in the maid costume he wore for the heist. In Part 5, they pretend to be two old men living together in an apartment above a cafe. They bicker like an old married couple. People are tying to track Lupin in the first half of the season and this: ‘As Lupin’s Lover where ever he is Lupin must be too’ is said about Jigen. In Part 6, Lupin keeps giving Jigen flowers. (He’s buying the flowers to keep an eye on someone and doesn’t want to look suspicious but he gives them to Jigen, after telling the store owner their for his wife) he calls Jigen either a ‘Fuzzy Angel’ (sub) or Hairy Hunk (dub). Jigen also tries to break Lupin from mindcontrol by bringing up their partnership. Like Sub line is ‘I’ve always been your partner man’ and the Dub line is ‘is that any way to treat your partner?’. The biggest thing though is in Lupin Zero, where Lupin declares he’s going to make his first official heist as Lupin III. He walks up to Jigen, places his hand on his chest, closes his hand and draws it back to himself then asks Jigen ‘So Jigen…was I able to steal it?’ To which Jigen replies ‘I’d say so’ while pulling his hat down over his face. Lupin’s ‘first real heist’ was STEALING JIGEN’S HEART! Also in Lupin III vs Cats eye Lupin pats Jigen on the ass (sound effect and everything) and Jigen doesn’t even react. There’s way more stuff from various movies and specials, this is just some of what jumps to mind right now. They may not be CANON but they’re pretty close :)

They're so deeply in gay love that gameplay-wise they're one of the most formidable threats in the game when together. This is because gay love is the most powerful force in the world, which allows them to do so much murder. In the comic, Heavy goes berserk and kills the heavy weapons expert of the Team Fortress Classic team after he kills Medic, and Medic escapes death by swindling the devil. He stole the Team Fortress Classic team's souls by surgically extracting them and sewing them into himself, so even though he already sold his soul, the devil doesn't have the majority of his soul because he has 8 more.
