well!! as expected i have to use this wonderful opportunity to talk about twain!!

anyone who has ever spoken to me will know this but my very favorite muse and character in the world is my replacement oc for mark twain in bungou stray dogs who i eventually made fandomless. he is literally THE guy of all time. i've written him since 2018 so it's been over 5 and a half years since he first entered my consciousness.

needless to say i think he is the best. he's a cool vagabond-type who works for an extraplanar archivist (who you can find on this blog!) in exchange for his continued survival. he has the power to bring book characters and creatures to life, except it's more complicated than that. he's a real good time boy who likes having fun so he doesn't have to think about all the terrible things happening all the time in his life.

in theory i could say literally a million things about him but i already talk enough about him as it is so i will mercifully cut my response here. but he's on @antisatiric . just so everyone is aware.

"Uwah?!" Minori can't help but let out that kind of shriek of surprise when she's grabbed so suddenly, "Uwauwauwauwa~!!" being let out in that way when someone slams their hands on your back really fast, except it's the perpetual motion of Emu's jumping doing all the work. Minori's laughter soon mixes into the jumpy audio when she finally realizes who exactly is hugging her with such hyper energy - She - She was so strong! When are all the girls with pink hair so strong?! - but Minori still starts to get dizzy and tiny swirls form in her eyes. "E-E-Emuuuuuu~ Hiiiii~" is all she can really let out, hugging back like her life depended on it, but still enjoying the theme park ride that was Emu's super happy fun greeting.

Retracting her hand, holding it to her chest, but...Not taking a step back. The fear and surprise that laced her face for the briefest of moments fades into her previous seriousness. Diantha even takes a step towards Fenrir - even if her arms are now stiff and unmoving - taking a deep breath and continuing.

"I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. But you have feelings too. Even if you don't want to talk about them...I saw how upset you were, and wanted to make sure you were okay. That's all." Her delivery is a little stiff, as is her whole body, but Diantha was nothing if not a genuine girl. It took ever ounce of strength in her to not cower away from all of Fenrir's hostility and bite, but she stood strong by choice. Not even in the sense that she liked Fenrir that much, but in the sense that...She knew hurt when she saw it. And they were working together, in the end, no longer true "enemies", so the hostility on Diantha's side had melted more into an...understanding worry. She's stupid for feeling that, she knows that. And she knew she would get such a reaction from such a hostile primal. But, even then...

"I just wanted you to know that I'm here if you needed somebody." That was all she could really offer her, but she was glad to do it.

There was anger, although brief. Here was his youngest sibling out causing trouble with her little gaggle of friends. Oh how they annoyed him greatly since that first meeting though most landed on tsukasa. Loud mouth. But then there was a slight click in Shousuke's mind. . . this could be useful if he played stupid and vanished for a little while. He chuckled. What an odd and somewhat terrifying change.

" alright Emu-chan, a deal. I will not stop you and your little plan on ONE condition. It is done perfectly so it works well for the park. Since our other brother would agree, prove yourselves and I'll talk to father about it. Given you do not tell me what that purple haired boy is planning I won't do a single thing. Understood?"

Emu seemed quite shocked to see her here - Mafuyu couldn't blame her this time, honestly. Seeing Wonderland x Showtime's performance was one of the more appealing activities for her at the park, though, considering she was a musician herself...

Well, she never did upon approaching her, something seemed to always happen after - she just wasn't sure what. "Mizuki made sure all of us had a very... Exciting time here. You all put on an energetic show as well - I'm impressed you're able to do so many performances in one day." Even if Mafuyu didn't really understand the whole 'wonderhoy' theme, it is genuine praise.

"Kaaaaiiiitooooo!!" barely had she entered the SEKAI before she had started running, dashing at highest speed toward her goal. "Ah! I found you!" and with a surprisingly sharp ninety-degree turn she soon comes to a stop, right in front of him. "Here!" despite the trouble getting it from the bag, a small, wrapped candy is held out toward him, and with it Emu looks at him in expectation. "It's a superduperultramegamassive sour candy!! When you eat it your face goes piiiiii", a demonstration off the scrunched-up face she had been making just earlier. "Try it, try it!"

" now if we put them there it should - uwaa!" All focus had been focused heavily upon giving some orders to the plushies and others in the hopes of preparing a few things. Though the loud voice, although recognised, came as such as a surprise he could not help but yell briefly. Kaito composed himself with a soft sigh and a pat down of the suit always adorned. One fitting for the troupe leader. There was a soft chuckle even with the tuning the voicebank had sorted specifically for their SEKAI. All of Wonderlands x showtime were important to him, he looked after them all. But for Emu the cheerfulness was lovely to have around .... for a moment Kaito recognised why Miku and the plushies decided to call him mommy.

" why hello Emu!! What a surprise to see you." The regular warm welcome as immediately upon finishing the sentence the virtual singer switched to simply listening to whatever had to be said. Only letting out confused and understanding hums along with short nods of his head. Candy? Some had shown him but memories did not pick up on whether or not one had been brought for him to have a taste test before. It was oddly exciting. Enough for Kaito to extend a hand and accept the candy, studying it briefly before chuckling once again.

" Hm, well I cannot refuse since you kindly brought it for me to try now can I. Alright alright." He softly smiled. A few thoughts went through but still it seemed like a good idea, doubtful if it could be harmful. Not like they would try. The candy was put in his mouth for him to immediately raise a brow. For a moment there was nothing. Enough to make him want to ask more and then just before he tried: it hit. The troupe leader could not stop himself from pulling the exact same face.

" that ... is something. Why would someone make candy like that? Surely there ... are better ones. "

"Tsuuukaaasaaaa!!" yelled from somewhere above him, followed by the rustling of tree leaves and a pink blur—before she gracefully lands in front of him. "Surprise wonderhoy!" it's louder than usual this time, leaves stuck in her hair and dirt on her knees, but seemingly proud of her endeavor. "Did I scare you? Did I? Hehe, you should've seen your face✩"

"W-Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!!" He yells in unison with his name, fearing for his existence and his life flashing before his eyes. But of course the 'wonderhoy' brings his spirit back into his body, though that physical form won't stop shaking from the now surplus of adrenaline going through his veins. Cloud over his face like he'd died - he had - gasping for air as if it was all sucked out of him - it was - and he wants nothing more than to just yell at her and scream at her - oh he's too tired for all of this.

"E-Emu...Please...Don't do that again." He says in sorrowful pants, one hand over his eyes while the other was over his heart. To be attacked in the wild like this was truly a most eye-opening sight...Oh, how would he survive against the fearsome beast Otori, if he couldn't outrun it no matter how hard he tried...?

when it comes to the places he regularly visits , toya is fairly confident in his ability to navigate . in fact , as long as he has some sort of a map , toya is generally very assured in finding his way . unfortunately , however , he has neither of those factors on his side , this time . their goal is an arcade on a side of the city he's never really explored , and his phone is very much dead ( he's only just now realizing he forgot to charge it last night ) .
