Closed starter: @luna-liu
Alex didn’t have many friends growing up, especially not after what happened to the coven he grew up with. After that night, he built up a wall, not wanting to allow anyone closer than they had to be. So, when he befriended Luna so soon after moving to the island, it kind of surprised him.
It’d been a long time since they’d last spoken to each other, so he decided to stop by her restaurant, knowing she was there often, and catch up as he waited for Charlie’s shift to be over “It’s really coming along.” He said as he walked through the front door, looking around at everything.

Nightmares
@ponyinthemoon
For nights, Twilight had been keeping herself awake so she'd stop dreaming. There were several reasons she had been stressing and keeping herself awake but this was among the top tier of the reasons. She'd kept herself busy working at the Golden Oak and tended to try to stay active and away from her bed as much as she could. Often times she'd catch herself falling asleep at her store when she was closing up shop, but that was always worse than falling asleep in her bed. At least at her apartment, even if it had been chaotic since Discord forced his way into staying there, she had other people there when she woke up. She had Spike, Owlowiscious and even Discord. But at the Golden Oak, even through its comforting familiarity, she was...alone.
Twilight needed to talk about this, she needed to get it off her chest. That's what Cadence would have said, right? She wished she'd been there to help with stress relief techniques but all she had now was the breathing she'd taught her and it wasn't helping as much lately; not with these thoughts that plagued her endlessly. Figuring she could confide in Princess Celestia, like she used to when she was younger, she rubbed the sleep from her eyes with a hoof and headed down the hallway to her apartment. She still found it nice that the princesses were just down the hall from her. It was somewhat of a comfort.
A small knock with a hoof at the door, before she just let herself in, having traded copies of keys between her and her mentor in case it was needed. Though, it seemed the elder princess had gone out for the night, or was she at work? She didn't know, but the pony let out a small sigh before letting herself into the older alicorn's room. She stopped in step, not looking for this particular princess, but it wasn't unwelcome in the least. Though her expression was blatantly filled with surprise.
“Oh, Princess Luna?” She paused for a moment, caught off guard by the sudden realisation that she, too, lived there. And if Twilight hadn't been so downright exhausted she would have realised sooner and avoided standing there like an idiot in headlights. “I can just...Well...” She stated awkwardly, rubbing the back of her head with a hoof. “Uhm...well, actually, maybe you could help me. If you're not too busy, I mean...” The small alicorn looked very much tired as she let out small yawns every now and then. “I've been...well, I've been having nightmares, I guess. But I think it's just stress related. Or...” She paused and glanced off to the side. “Well...I know why I'm stressed I... I've been trying to find a way home and... I...” Another pause as she bit her lip.
“I was here before, in this city, and I...left. But I didn't know I left and now...Pinkie Pie has been here for over a year and so has Sunset and I just...I just left... I couldn't save them and I...I let them down... And every time I go to sleep I can't stop dreaming about every way I've ever let them down and how they relied so heavily on me to find a way home and I just...left them. I left them here. I...” She could feel tears welling up in her eyes but she just attempted to blink them back.

Unwanted Memories [closed]
@ponyinthemoon
The memories flooding in every so often and the flashes of something familiar yet foreboding just on the edge of her mind were starting to unnerve her, if she was being completely honest. There was a certain fear attached to her last moments in Hive City, but for the life of her she could not figure out just what had happened or what she saw that would have given her this unsettling feeling. It was all like a distant, horrible dream.
That's when it finally hit her. Upon sight of a very familiar mane and tail the culprit for her anxiety slammed into her mind and her heart felt as though it stopped completely. One of her worst fears had unfolded in her time here before. She held back tears as she watched her sister from afar, reliving her fight with Nightmare Moon again. But the pony before her wasn't that same one, no, that was her sister Luna. She was fine, she was her. It could very well have been Luna from a different time, she didn't know, she couldn't know. She'd choose, for the moment, to believe she was different, that she wasn't the one who had turned again.
“Luna?” The Alicorn galloped forward, circling around her sister and nuzzling her cheek against hers. “My sister! You were taken here as well? How long have you been here? Are you hurt? Have you been eating well?” It was an overwhelming amount of the usual older sister worries coupled with the anxiety of her memories.
