I need to like, condense my social media clouds. Like for patreon I’ve got 3 separate places to post things but maybe I should really only have 2??? Updates will be kept in patreon, and interactions, if any, can happen on the discord server. There’s no real need for a private blog I don’t think, if everything is accessible on patreon itself.

It would def make my work space a lot more decluttered and less blogs to worry about and update. So I think that’s the decision I’m gonna go with. That does mean I’ll have to shill my server more,,, but idk.

ANOTHER THOUGHT,, I had a critter corner in my server where I share pictures of animals, but also animals I work with. Like, client animals. I don’t know if that’s like. Illegal or something. So I think I’m gonna have to declutter that as well,,,

What if I redesigned some horses to fit MY favorite narrative trope: fallen gods and forgotten myths of old? Anyways.

Twilight’s mentor is a strange one. In a world of twilit planes forever shrouded in mystery, the older unicorn Lest and her adopted student Twilight are one in many common travelers, migrating the pitted wastelands and eeking survival within settlements that spring up around the glowing meteor shards. Despite living with Lest for the last four years, Twilight can’t help but seek answers to where her brother has gone— and in the process, perhaps dig a bit too deeply into the complexities of gods far older and dangerous then she can truly fathom.

On the otherhand, Celestia “Lest” Sol is having a terrible millenium. Her sister is no longer her sister, her student teleported herself halfway across the continent, and she got herself kidnapped by an old rival trying to attune with the elements of harmony to overthrow the current ruler of Equestria.

At least she gets a toxic yuri moment.

Meanwhile, Chrysalis is having a great time. She’s got kingdoms to conquer and people to feed and a waning god to taunt.

(The Selene Grace hates the sun monarch they deposed five centuries ago as they stay chained to their post, keeping the lunar and solar bodies from crashing into each other. Luna misses her sister, and the easier world where they haven’t hurt each other beyond reparation. Nightmare Moon misses their monstrosity, trapped in a host who’s grief has poisoned them with empathy.

Things are bound to tip. The celestial bodies are not bodies, but prisons, and the amalgamations we call alicorns the key. And something desperately wants to be freed…)

One thing I wish FR auction house had would be the ability to list stuff with the option to buy for a gem price *or* a treasure price;

i.e. you could list a dragon for sale for 20,000t OR 20g (or however many gems you want the t:g ratio to be), and the buyer gets to pick if they want to pay in treasure or gems

Now, I don't mind getting messages from people who are interested in buying for alternative currency at all, I just worry that the dragon they want will sell to someone else by the time I see their message (which has happened in the past!)

worked with some coworkers on a statement about palestine for my job today (about how we’re disappointed about the silence/inaction given that we’re a journalist org), and functioning on 1 hour of sleep in 34 hours and doing this has me vibrating with anxiety like a little bee.

obviously, it’s not a question about whether or not to stand up because i won’t let cowardice and apathy be my legacy on this earth, but i know for a fact that the ceo is more pro-israel and has reposted things on his social media anti “from river to the sea” and equating anti-zionism with anti-semitism and other stuff, and this actually feels like my job is potentially at stake.

While I would love it for hyv to stop making Yanqing the narrative punching bag I would also love it if people would stop acting like the losses that we see him face invalidate the character he is described to be. Like I’m sorry but the 14 year old losing fights to some of the oldest and most skilled warriors we’ve been introduced to in the story so far does not make said 14 year old any less skilled or any less of a prodigy.
