QUESTIONS FOR THE MUN // accepting!

Two come to mind almost immediately.... Dangan Ronpa and Cookie Run, but Cookie Run specifically when it was just a LINE run game and not. Ovenbreak and Kingdom or whatever the current games are now. I stopped playing once it migrated to those two games since it just....got too complicated for me.

I really try to avoid saying something is toxic, but these two fandoms are the ones I can think of where I just had the WORST experience for each. I'm not going to go into detail about it, but I experienced my first bout of anon hate when I was in both and my time in both fandoms were. Miserable.

Greater good??? What does that mean? After all, it was all just four fish who had each other. ‘I’m the greatest good Don will ever have, we’re never cutting ties. Although if Squishy ever gets caught with her antics, guess we’ll have to cut her. I’m not flopping out of this lake to go get her.’

🍋  :    what kind of diet does my muse have? do they eat regularly,  or the standard 2-3 meals a day? do they have to be reminded to eat,  or are they likely to remind others? do they cook,  or have others cook for them? do they eat healthily,  or not so much?

For Felix!

Felix has all the makings of a good cook or chef....but he's chronically ill, so may fall to lazy meals, or relying on others to cook. This is, among many, many reasons he would never fit into a traditional cis, or heteronormative marriage- depending on him to work, or cook, and mind the house and kids like a traditional 'wife' could be a little much.

he eats a large variety and isn't shy about things like potato chip and soda...but his preferences and majority are healthy meals! He focuses on protein because he's physically active, or carbs. And, tends to prefer leaner proteins, such as fowl and plant over things like beef.

And, drinks nearly anything, with lots of flavored water as well.

A quirk of his is being mildly hypoglycemic, so, he actually does need a dose of sugar every now and then, especially upon waking. His blood sugar drops to 60, which is right in the lower range of normal, the treatment is simply 'eat some sugar.' As a result he does like things such as honey, peanut butter, or cake.

He tends to need to eat every 4 hours or so, which ends up about average, but with ADHD can definitely forget meals here and there. He is a huge fan of peanut butter, by the way; it's a nearly nutritionally complete food like potatoes, the caveat being that it's allergenic and mostly a Unovan thing- most foreigners don't have a taste for it. So, on occasion if he's holed up somewhere, he can samefood it a fair bit. (was about to say 'stuck at home' but gdi he's nomadic. dorms are the closest thing to a home he has barring multiship)

And he's a semi-casual foodie, despite not being picky. He was a picky eater before testosterone treatment, but now eats almost anything.

What is it about quintessence that makes it different? :0 I'm not really familiar with the elemental stuff in Ghost. I know which ones are which, but not why or anything...

so the ghouls are based on classical elements, that being earth, fire, air, water, quintessence. i don't think there's really much of a reason in actuality aside from like. occult theming etc.

that said, let's talk about quintessence as a whole. this is also called aether, or just the fifth element. whereas the other four are earthly, this element describes concepts like vacuum and heaven. The word aether comes from Greek, and means "pure, fresh air" or "clean sky." It related to words meaning to incinerate or shine. So the element differs from air in that it isn't earthly. It's heavenly, made of space and stars and the air gods breathe. There's also luminiferous aether (ether), which is an old hypothesis referring to the medium through which light moves.

In alchemy, quintessence once again refers to the element thought to make up heavenly bodies. It's also related to elixers, medicine, and the Philosopher's stone. This is where idea in the fanbase about it being used for healing likely come from.

So generally, I think it's different due to its associations. It exists outside of the earthly elements, though is present in life as a force. I think of quintessence ghouls as important to their respective papa, in one way or another. Possibly less common in general, given the stated differences. As I'm thinking of it, element transition from an earthly element to quintessence could be possible, but more difficult and may take more of a toll on the ghoul going through it.

According to ancient and medieval science, aether (/ˈiːθər/, alternative spellings include æther, aither, and ether), also known as the fifth element or quintessence, is the material that fills the region of the universe beyond the terrestrial sphere.

The concept of aether was used in several theories to explain several natural phenomena, such as the propagation of light and gravity.

In the late 19th century, physicists postulated that aether permeated space, providing a medium through which light could travel in a vacuum, but evidence for the presence of such a medium was not found in the Michelson–Morley experiment, and this result has been interpreted to mean that no luminiferous aether exists.

However, in his Book On the Heavens he introduced a new “first” element to the system of the classical elements of Ionian philosophy.

He noted that the four terrestrial classical elements were subject to change and naturally moved linearly.

The first element however, located in the celestial regions and heavenly bodies, moved circularly and had none of the qualities the terrestrial classical elements had. It was neither hot nor cold, neither wet nor dry. With this addition the system of elements was extended to five and later commentators started referring to the new first one as the fifth and also called it aether, a word that Aristotle had not used.

Aether differed from the four terrestrial elements; it was incapable of motion of quality or motion of quantity. Aether was only capable of local motion.

Aether naturally moved in circles, and had no contrary, or unnatural, motion. Aristotle also stated that celestial spheres made of aether held the stars and planets.

The idea of aethereal spheres moving with natural circular motion led to Aristotle's explanation of the observed orbits of stars and planets in perfectly circular motion.

Do you do ‘Mun does muse does’ style posts? How often? Why or why not?

I don't think I've ever done them as often as they were popular in the community back then, but they were either daily or, as soon as a mun got sick oh their muse is sick now too!

I do partake once in a while though, it's more like my outside environment affects my muses more than me. Naturally, a lot of Felix musings can be shit that just happened to me, though some are just funny thoughts I've had. It's probably more common or in the nature for Felix, while other muses are merely affected by my life.

Emmet enjoying xmas is probably a more unhinged example- I'm a very secular man in all honesty which means so are most of my muses: Emmet probably likes xmas because it's obnoxious and playful, meanwhile my enjoyment is more aesthetic and genuine, and about the generosity and family. oh and the treats.

But like, for example, I've always done ooc posts instead to talk about status such as saying goodnight, some people would even do that IC. I think the last time i did that shit was april fools, since muse takeover is a thing then, and Volo said good morning and goodbye to everyone...
