Right now I feel like writing all the time. Certain topics seem to bubble up more easily than others. I know I need to keep writing about my time with Nick, but every time I think about it or look at it I think about how drained I was after the first, and only, time that I wrote and I push it away. Writing about my dreams was as close to writing about Nick as I have come since that first…

Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. In a world filled with spite and vindictivness, these verses are a kick in the gut! A reminder that being Christ-like is not just for friends but for foes as well. As Christ died for all, sometimes we have to swallow our self-righteousness and be a true emissary for him! Luke 6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. As many of his disciples said on another occasion..."this is a hard saying; who can hear it." It's easy to love our friends, loving those who have done us wrong is a tall order...but Jesus died for all! "Lord forgive them for they know not what they do." Lord give me strength and courage, but I need humility and the love of Christ more. Luke6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. Lord help me to crucify my flesh and walk in your footsteps. Help me see others through your eyes! Even when I think that I'm not getting anything in return, let me be merciful, and not judgemental. Let me forgive and not condemn! Lord help me do the things you say... Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Matthew 5:44 I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Help me Lord to trust you and your judgments, for they are true and righteous, In Jesus name, Amen. https://www.instagram.com/p/CgWceeZusFx/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

THE SOUL HAS NO SECRET THAT THE BEHAVIOR DOES NOT REVEAL. #repost @lenny_mccuistion A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.- Luke6:45 #watchyourself Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.- Prov4:23 #guardyourheart Jesus said, “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”- Matt12:33-37 #guardyourmind We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.- James3:2 #guardyourmouth The heart of the wise man instructs his mouth and adds persuasiveness to his lips.- Prov16:23 #theheart For a fool speaks foolishness; his mind plots iniquity. He practices ungodliness and speaks falsely about the LORD; He leaves the hungry empty and deprives the thirsty of drink.- Is32:6 #theheartdefiles Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.- Mark7:15-16 #itallstartsinthemind Jesus said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”- Mark7:20-23 #corruptedmind To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.- Tit1:15 #becarefulwhatyousay #sourceofwords (at Mount Juliet, Tennessee) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bzyj397F5sS/?igshid=66en6qzjl9x

45 The [intrinsically] good man produces what is good and honorable and moral out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart; and the [intrinsically] evil man produces what is wicked and depraved out of the evil [in his heart]; for his mouth speaks from the overflow of his heart.

When feelings get hurt
Have you ever had your feelings hurt? So much so that it’s made you question if you dug your own grave or helped correct an error.
People do it all the time, say something and not realize the true impact of their words. The true impact and how it will affect the other person. What I find annoying is when someone knows they have said something hurtful it’s mean so just to soften the blow they put an “LoL” at the end of the paragraph #Seriously let’s discuss this for a second shall we. That irritates ME. Why write a hurtful paragraph to someone and you know it’s a hurtful paragraph because just in Luke 6:45 (NIV)
“For out of the abundance of the heart the moth speaks”
So you know exactly what you are saying and exactly what will hurt that person. So please, please for those of you out there who think that “LoL” at the end of the paragraph will really make us laugh out loud in that moment it won’t so stop doing it.
#CoolDays with that addressed, feelings can still be hurt I wanted to be a lawyer , so bad it was my dream for a long time. I knew the career, loved it in fact and everyone around ME knew that I was going to be a lawyer, it was all I ever talked about and all I ever wanted since the age of 10 BUT what I didn’t realize is that all I was, was defined by whether or not I would be a lawyer or not. I put my entire identity in it. Who I was , was defined by a career I thought was right for ME. I couldn’t separate the two. I had to get my feelings hurt to realize that even if I didn’t become a lawyer GOD still had a great plan for ME
Feelings get hurt all the time, if fact right now someone has just read, heard, seen or even witnessed something and it had hurt their feelings BUT when GOD is doing the hurting you gotta know that He is doing it for a reason.
King David experienced this;
While David’s men where at war David stayed behind in Jerusalem. NOW before I continue you must know how odd this was, a king not going to war with his troops #Legit #VeryOdd. One morning he woke up and saw a beautiful woman by the name of Bathsheba. He enquired about her and found out she was married to Uriah the Hittite. Filled with the same emotions that still exist on a daily basis today David slept with Bathsheba and she became pregnant BUT now he had to cover his tracks. He brought Uriah home in order for him to sleep with his wife in order to cover his tracks BUT unfortunately Uriah could not sleep with his wife while there was a war going on. So David then turned to extreme measures and placed Uriah the Hittite in the front line and he then died. Bathsheba then married and gave birth to David’s son. Displeased with all David had done the LORD then rebuked David. Killing his son.
(2 Samuel chapters 11 &12-NIV)
Now that is just gut-retching. David knew GOD was going to take away his son and he prayed and feasted to the LORD in hopes that He would not take his son away BUT He did. There are no words #Seriously.
BUT when David had learnt the lesson he needed to, after his feelings had been unimaginably hurt the LORD then blessed his with another son which they named Solomon
So just like David you might have made some bad decisions and now your feelings are hurt, it won’t last forever. You will heal you just have to realize that sometimes your feelings have to get hurt fir a greater plan ahead of you
So GOD gave you a set back BUT remember that it’s only a setback for a greater come back o be strong
regardless of an “LoL” at the end of a paragraph or not.
You see Jesus got His feelings hurt many times. People think Jesus just came to save the world& #Legit He did but He also came to restore and #Honestly change people’s perspectives on many things. Many people think that when Adam and Eve sinned it didn’t hurt GOD’s feelings. It did. When the Isrealities would have rather being ruled by Phorah than walk around in the desert with Moses under the rule of GOD. It hurt His feelings. When Judus betrayed him. It hurt His feelings and when Peter denied Him x3 times, again it hurt His feelings. GOD was always getting His feelings hurt BUT it’s how He reacted which is important
He didn’t throw a fit and say ugly things He simply accepted it, He knew that all this was for a greater plan. A plan that sometimes we as people tend to forget.
NOW I’m not saying that hurting people’s feelings is justified because it might just be for a greater plan because #Legit it’s not. It’s not right for your parents to not take your dreams seriously. To crush them and force you to conform to sociality norms. What I’m saying is sometimes GOD hurts your feelings right now because He has a better plan…
