"Handsome?" Luka questioned, leaning back slightly. "Why?"

"He was a model. Almost every 14-year-old French girl was fawning over him a decade ago," she explained, her grin widening as she finished entering the name.

"Then who's the hotshot for French girls nowadays?" Luka asked, also grinning.

"Hmm, probably you," Marinette said with a teasing smile, knowing it would fluster him, "being the most famous French singer of all time, and in my opinion, also the most talented."

As she expected, his cheeks went red, and he chuckled nervously, running a hand through his hair. He glanced away briefly before meeting her gaze again with a shy smile.

This was nice.

MLB x BATMAN Fanfic Idea

So I don't remember who had the idea first but they inspired mine. Marinette is Alfred's mom but here is my twist.

Alfred is the child of Marinette and Luka (I love Lukanette). Alfred is born with magic and is immortal just like his parents (blessings from the Kwamis) but Alfred hides that he's immortal with an illusion glamor that makes it seem like he's aging when in reality he stopped aging at 21 and looks just like his father but the tips of his hair are red.

The Batfamily are shocked when Marinette suddenly arrives at the manor to visit her son who then reveals the truth about himself to the Batfamily.

The chaos!

Okay, is it just me, or in a lot of mlb fanfics (atleast in ones I've seen/read), they make luka out to be a horrible person?! Like, dude, wtf?!?!? He's literally the living embodiment of the therapist friend, and is a total sweetheart. *in moral combat voice* JUSTICE FOR LUKA!!!

Summary:

Luka and Marinette are finally together and life is good. Marinette's thinking about the future and Luka is over the moon. But if there is one thing that can ruin a sure thing in Hawkmoth Paris, it's an akuma. If an akuma isn't bad enough, tragic timing makes it worse. After an akuma attack, Ladybug goes missing and Luka is left behind to pick up the pieces, protect her identity, and grieve on his own. When her absence stretches on, tensions begin to rise. Can Viperion take on Hawk Moth? Can Paris survive without Ladybug? Will Ladybug ever return?

hahaha whats the deal with juleka and marinette 👀 another case of childhood friends drifting apart and marinette ending up alone like always 😔?

yes!! i've realized i have a habit of combining show characters in order to keep the cast small (mylene's activism got repurposed for alya, max's compsci stuff got given to nino), so i decided to merge juleka with socqueline.

and when i say childhood friends, i mean they were little. like 5 or 6

their friendship started to go south in middle school, as that's when their interests really began to diverge and juliette started to lean into scene/alternative fashion like her older brother luka. this is when she starts going by juleka and dying her hair purple and such, and marinette is much more of a shoujo coquette kind of girl and started to find juleka's more extroverted behavior and "cringiness" off-putting (though, when you eventually have a body pillow of your favorite celebrity, can you really judge your ex-best friend for having a yaoi paddle)

of course, their friendship gets truly severed in high schoolwhen juleka starts dating rose and prioritizing her relationship with rose over her friendship with marinette. of course, considering rose's general disposition and love of pink is somewhat similar to marinette's... it's safe to assume that juleka found the same things attractive in marinette, but thought she would never return the feelings. marinette reluctantly dating luka later on is yet another punch to the gut.
