Modern Celebrity AU Headcanons

Because I'm writing a thing for it and it's on my mind.

The triplets' matching tattoos were Julieta's idea; they got them when Bruno moved back to New York after the accident.

Casita is exactly like Casita, maybe a little bigger, and is located between Malibu and Santa Monica. Pedro and Alma built it not long after their wedding, and Alma is convinced it's alive and/or haunted by Pedro. It was damaged slightly in the Northridge Quake not long after Los Trillozos broke up.

They don't have their gifts but they KINDA do? Like, following Julieta's recipes is guaranteed comfort food, the weather tends to reflect Pepa's moods, Bruno gets deja vu a lot (and may or may not have prophetic dreams), Isabela has a green thumb, Dolores has perfect pitch and echoic memory, Luisa's as big and buff as canon and a natural athlete, Camilo...see below, and Antonio bonds easily with animals. Oh, and Mirabel is fashion.

Camilo's a VERY good actor; their big breakthrough role was a Tatiana Maslany/Orphan Black-style one actor with lots of roles situation and they killed it. They can morph their voice and mannerisms in uncanny ways, almost like a shapesifter!

Bruno has a tricky relationship with his elder nieces because he was at his worst while they were growing up, and eventually they were old enough to figure out why he did what he did. When he came home after the accident it took a while for them to trust him, but things do get better.

Meanwhile Camilo and Mirabel and later Antonio took to him right away, and their acceptance helped him a lot in his recovery.

Felix was a session musician who worked with Pepa on her first solo album, "[insert storm-related title here]", and fell in love with her. They had a whirlwind (lol) romance culminating in a destination wedding in Puerto Rico. Some jackass whose name rhymes with Schmuno went on a bender and missed his flight. The delayed ceremony took place as a hurricane came ashore.

Agustin is a lawyer. IDK how h and Juli met but they eloped. It was amazing.

Luisa is a Olympian (living the dream!). Do no ask me her sport I go back and forth. Probably some kind of track and field.

Bruno is on record stating that, if a movie is made about his life, Lin-Manuel Miranda is not allowed to play him.

Georgiana Luisa Ortiz Davis de Taylor; born the year of her birth country’s half-century celebration on a July evening in 1826. The fifth child and first daughter of a coffee trader from Puerto Rico and his beloved wife, in the colony of Georgia’s first city; Savannah. It was picturesque and serene. The nation’s first planned city with wide streets, public squares, and parks. Also a port town, Savannah’s proximity to the sea made it possible for the Ortiz family’s trade ventures to thrive. Each son was given his own delegations and all the daughters married off. Which included Georgiana.

It wasn’t love at first sight but a deep appreciation for the heart of a good man who was always kind and generous. Edward Taylor, a friend of her older brother’s, a shipping merchant like her father, and a local to Savannah just like her. They shared eight children together over the course of a decade; only five survived into adulthood. It was the greatest ache Georgiana ever knew; the death of a child. There were no words that existed that she knew to describe such a loss. An insurmountable grief, deaths that she would mourn for all of time.

Eight children took their toll. After her youngest’s birth, Georgiana's human body grew weak. Dizzy spells and the occasional fainting weren’t uncommon. Her family, friends, and neighbors all expressed their concern. Their fears made reality the day Georgiana collapsed at the top of the stairs during a dinner party. Her body tumbled down the wooden steps til it smacked the bottom in front of all her guests. She was dead before her head hit the floor. Hours passed, her body cleaned and redressed, left on the parlor table for her burial the next day. In private, her husband and their children said their goodbyes. A small mercy Georgiana would be grateful for later when it came to giving them closure. 

By morning, Georgiana was in a carriage, leaving Savannah; the only home she’d ever known. Headed North, to a town called Lunar Cove, with her maker for a new life as a Vampire.The one who saved her. A friend of a friend in attendance that night who had slipped his blood into her wine, only hoping to cure the lady of the house of what ailed her after hearing the whispers of concern from her friends. It came as much a shock to him as everyone else in attendance when Georgiana died, still he took the time to welcome her into an immortal life.

In the New England town, Georgiana learned how to be a vampire; to curb cravings, to compel, to live this new life she had been given. Though a better alternative than death, it was a life full of grief for her family. In the solace of a friend, Georgiana found a new family; a chosen one. Meena Raja, who at the time was second in command to the town’s vampire clan, quickly became Georgiana’s closest friend. Both women grew up in society, though a continent and a few decades apart. They shared a love for fashion, music and all the arts, as well as an affinity for gossip like any aristocrat. Georgiana recovered a piece of her humanity in her dear friend Meena. A gift she would not know again for some decades until she returned to Savannah for her son. 

During the American Civil War Georgiana’s former husband and two of their sons died, leaving only her daughters and eldest boy alive. No measure of time passing made those losses easier, not during her tenure as a human or her eternity as a vampire. It was an eternal, forever kind of ache for each and every single one.

Two and a half decades came and went. Georgiana did not age but still changed with every rise and fall of the sun. Receiving an education, a real education, for the first time equipped her with the ability to guide her family from afar. To ensure their prosperity in business and their safety when it counted. She kept a careful eye on them throughout the years, especially her children. No longer babies but men and mothers, too. It was a different kind of ache; watching life go on without you. 

When word arrived that her only son left alive had been thrown from his horse and was fast approaching death, she left her new home for her old one. Upon arrival, the hospital pronounced him dead, but Georgiana heard his heart beating, faintly, the moment she entered the morgue. Inaudible to human ears, yet it was the loudest, most profound sound she’d ever heard; since the day of his birth when Georgiana heard the first cries of her first child.

Peter thought his mother was an angel, returned to Savannah to take him home when she offered him life everlasting. Only part of which was true.

The years came easier with Peter at Georgiana’s side. They mourned together, their mortal family’s lives. First within the safety of a supernatural home but venturing abroad at the turn of the century in pursuit of education, experience, and travel.

Georgiana attended universities across the Euro-Asia continents until the start of the first world war. They did what they could to help the allies. It was a long four years. When peace returned to the world, Georgiana and her son went home. Lunar Cove was a soft place to land after the trials of war. She was grateful for the peace, finally able to return to her studies and reunite with her cherished, chosen family.

In honor of her parents, Georgiana opened a cafe. Her father was a shipping merchant who met her mother through a business associate in the Puerto Rican coffee trade. She named the shop sardonically for the creature she’d become. The Caffine Crypt became a second home away from her estate in Celestial Hills. She relished the days of working in its corners, appreciating the smell of fresh ground beans, as she put ink to paper. Cataloging her life, her work, her thoughts. 

The second world war came and went. Georgiana found a place in her mind where the bloodshed lived. A survivor of three wars, now. The blessing and curse of her life; to watch as all the world moved by.

 After many years of interest, Georgiana found herself in the dirt. An archeologist with her own team, searching for things they’d never find. At least, not publicly. Georgiana kept the best treasures for the town. More than just human tokens, too, but magical relics that amazed a woman who was born no more than human. Safely stored in Lunar Cove, awaiting use should the town ever need. 

For more than a century and a half, Georgiana has maintained an estate in Celestial Hills. A home she often returns to, to spend the stretch of years between extensive bouts of intense research, to reunite with her family. Her son, Peter, and her dearest friend Meena; no longer second in command but leader of their clan and mayor of Lunar Cove. Feast Georgiana took to celebrating with the most elaborate of parties. An ode to their days of girlhood in the upper echelon. 

Over the years, much has changed about the world and the safe haven she calls home, but Georgina fears not war or death. A survivor of both, too many times to count. No threat could keep her out of Lunar Cove.

Biografia:

Bianca jamais esperava encontrar o amor vendendo milho cozido pelas ruas de Bogotá, mas logo se viu enamorada de um estrangeiro simpático. Após comprar todos os dias, fielmente, por uma semana, o homem finalmente chamou a colombiana para um encontro antes de voltar para casa, na Grécia. No entanto, conforme prometido, sempre que ele voltava para o país, encontrava a moça. E os tais encontros apaixonados geraram um bebê. A mulher, é claro, ficou super animada, mas, após contar ao grego, ele sumiu de vez.

Sem o nome do pai no registro, Valentina mal falava ou andava quando a própria mãe, recusando-se em encarar a realidade, pegou todas as suas economias e decidiu ir atrás do homem de seus sonhos. Ela tinha esperanças de que seriam uma família completa no momento que se encontrassem, contudo, ao chegar em Atenas, não conseguiu encontrá-lo em lugar algum.

Devastada e sem um tostão no bolso, Bianca não teve escolha a não ser ficar ilegalmente no país. Fixou-se com a filha em uma cidade litorânea, onde arranjou emprego em bares e restaurantes da região. Cada vez mais ambiciosa, trabalhava mais e mais, mal parando em casa, apenas para poder dar à Valentina uma vida melhor. E, quando ficou doente e sem poder trabalhar, não tinha como pagar seus medicamentos, o que resultou em uma tragédia.

Aos 9 anos, logo que observou o corpo sem vida da mãe, a mais nova fugiu de casa, recusando-se a parar em um orfanato. Andando pela cidade, viu alguns meninos roubando moedas da fonte da juventude e decidiu juntar-se ao ato. Em pouco tempo viraram amigos e parceiros do crime. No início, eram coisas pequenas, como roubar uma fruta na feira, mas aos poucos foi evoluindo, tornando-se experts em driblar turistas e pegar as suas coisas sem que notassem — afinal, quem desconfiaria que aquelas crianças inocentes eram, na verdade, ladrões?

Aos 10, envolveu-se na primeira briga de rua com outra criança. Escola? Nunca fora em uma, já que não queria ser deportada.

Aos 12, teve o primeiro contato com álcool e com o tabaco, o que acabou virando um hábito desde então. Utilizavam identidades falsas para comprarem os produtos e bebiam, muitas vezes, noites a fio.

Aos 15, quando um de seus amigos ficou maior de idade, passaram a dar uma espécie de golpe nas imobiliárias. Diziam que queriam uma casa de luxo e passavam a tarde toda em casarões vazios, em festas particulares regadas a bebida e orgia. Foi também quando teve o primeiro contato com drogas ilegais, mais um hábito nada saudável adicionado à sua lista.

Aos 16, vendo que as imobiliárias já não cediam mais as chaves para o grupo, passaram a invadir as moradias de ricos. Logo o hobby ficou chato e adicionaram novos lugares à lista, como empresas dos mais diversos ramos.

Uma vez mexendo com os ricos, começaram também os problemas com a polícia. Escapou quase sempre, exceto uma vez, aos 17, em que a levaram para a delegacia. Pediu para ir ao banheiro e, enquanto fazia suas necessidades, notou uma área circular azulada. Adentrou o pequeno espaço, saindo do lado de fora do estabelecimento e, enquanto tentava entender o que tinha acontecido, viu o portal desaparecer diante dos próprios olhos. Aproveitou a oportunidade para fugir mais uma vez, adentrando seu esconderijo secreto.

Durante o sonho, viu o pai pela primeira vez. Segundo o mesmo, era o deus grego Hermes. Passou à garota um endereço, um local onde ela estaria segura, mas ela não quis saber, pelo menos nas primeiras tentativas do genitor falar com ela. Após passar por mais alguns apuros com a polícia, viu-se sem escolha. Decidiu ir até o tal endereço, sendo acolhida por diversos outros seres da mitologia grega.

Habilidades:

1 - Portal de curta distância: Capacidade de criar um portal que transporta quem nele entrar para até 10 metros na direção que a filha de Hermes desejar. Não precisa necessariamente ver o local para onde quer ir, mas tem que estar olhando na direção criada. Por não ver onde vai, pode causar acidentes. Os portais também fecham quando Valentina deseja, o que pode causar amputações ou demais ferimentos graves. Duram, no máximo, 30 segundos.

2 - Agilidade extrema: Possui agilidade e destreza impressionantes, permitindo-lhe executar movimentos acrobáticos e evasões extraordinárias. No entanto sua força física é reduzida, podendo ser um grande problema em confrontos diretos.

3 - Rapidez sobrenatural I: A filha de Hermes pode mover-se duas vezes mais rapidamente durante 15 minutos. Para ela, é como se todo o mundo estivesse mais lento. Embora seja mais rápida que a média, chega ao máximo 80 km/h.

4 - Persuasão avançada: Uma vez por dia, é capaz de fazer um único ser fazer o que ela disser. A habilidade não funciona com deuses e nem seres místicos com resistência mental.

5 - Furtividade: A filha do deus dos ladrões consegue facilmente furtar pequenos objetos. A carteira que estava no seu bolso? Não está mais. A pulseira de ouro que foi herança da família? Deixou de estar em seu braço. Entretanto, se a pessoa der falta do objeto durante a conversa, consegue facilmente encontrar a culpada e o objeto que não a pertence em seu bolso. 6 - Lábia perfeita: É naturalmente boa mentirosa, mas, com esta habilidade desbloqueada, Valen pode fazer um ser acreditar em si durante 15 minutos, não importa o quão absurdo seja o que está contando. A menos que o ser tenha resistência mental, ele realmente acredita no que a colombiana disse, podendo até espalhar a mentira em questão.

7 - Localização de objetos: Pode encontrar quase qualquer objeto, com exceção de objetos escondidos por magia. O limite é de 1 objeto por dia.

8 - Compreensão de línguas estrangeiras: Como deus dos viajantes, é natural que sua prole tenha herdado a facilidade de entender qualquer idioma. Porém, neste nível, é capaz apenas de entender o que o outro diz, mas não é capaz de comunicar-se naquela língua.

9 - Apreensão de línguas estrangeiras: Nesta evolução, a filha de Hermes consegue aprender qualquer língua, desde que toque no ser falante durante uma conversa. Sendo assim, é capaz de comunicar-se com qualquer um durante uma hora apenas.

10 - Portal de média distância: Criação de um portal que tem a capacidade de transportar qualquer um para até 100 metros de distância. Seguindo o primeiro portal, Valentina deve olhar para a direção desejada, sem saber o que vai ter do outro lado. Duram, no máximo, 30 segundos.

11 - Abertura de fechaduras: Consegue abrir qualquer cadeado, cadeado, tranca, fechadura e afins ao toque, desde que não esteja protegido por alguma magia. Além disso, só pode fazê-lo a cada 6 horas.

12 - Cura acelerada: Com o metabolismo mais rápido do que qualquer ser comum, é natural que as feridas de Valentina, no geral, cicatrizem antes do tempo médio. 13 - Ofidioglossia: Sendo o pai, muitas vezes, relacionado a serpentes, é comum que Valentina tenha afinidade com os répteis em questão, facilmente dando-se bem com eles. Ao desbloquear esta habilidade, além da afinidade, ela também consegue falar com as cobras.

14 - Esconderijo perfeito: Assim como ladrões precisam de um esconderijo após realizar o roubo, Valentina precisa de um para a vida. Por isso, consegue esconder-se perfeitamente em qualquer canto, desde que este não seja muito pequeno ou apertado. Se ela couber no local, vai dar um jeito de entrar e ficar praticamente imperceptível.

15 - Rapidez sobrenatural II: Ao desbloquear esta habilidade, consegue mover-se rapidamente por até 30 minutos. Não ultrapassa os 120 km/h. 16 - Portal de longa distância: Seus portais levam qualquer um que neles entrar até 1km de distância, na direção que a prole de Hermes olha. Duram, no máximo, 45 segundos.

17 - Detecção de presença: A filha de Hermes consegue pressentir atividade recente em um ambiente, a menos que esta venha da magia. Notar pegadas, leves movimentações de objetos ou até mesmo o cheiro de alguém torna-se fácil ao desbloquear tal habilidade.

18 - Confusão cacofônica: Consegue confundir quase qualquer ser através de mensagens de voz emitidas por todo o ambiente, dificultando que saiba onde Valentina realmente está. Seres com resistência mental não são afetados por tal prática. Dura até 3 minutos.

19 - Modulação de timbre: Assim como seu pai fez para enganar Apolo, a prole de Hermes pode modular sua voz para qualquer uma que já tenha ouvido pessoalmente. A duração é de 5 minutos e, apesar de alterar a voz, não altera a aparência, podendo ser vista enquanto o faz.

20 - Portal de muito longa distância: Os portais atingem a distância máxima de 10km. Ainda segue todos os requisitos dos portais anteriores, com a diferença que duram até 1 minuto.

Herbaria-Luisa Capetillo is an ink and pastel drawing on paper that is part of a series of drawings of portraits of women who have dedicated their lives to the fight for social justice and ecology in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. The portraits are based on the documentation and identification of the plants present in the places where each of the women lived. Located in the Mountainous Region, the Coastal Planes and the Karst Region of the island of Puerto Rico, each one of these places provides us with knowledge about the life and thought of each one of these women and their relationship with their natural environment. . It is my intention with this project to outline and build a Puerto Rican feminist genealogy, which rearticulates Puerto Rican historical memory through the relationship between feminism and environmentalism.

Miracle Gifts (MATT & ENCANTO Croosover (Modern AU) Information

Alright, I've been thinking a lot about this story and I think I've got it. Here's an update on the story. (I may make some changes to it later, but it wouldn't affect the main story much, I think)

Characters: MAYA AND THE THREE

MAYA: She trains in a club specialized in boxing fight with Picchu and Luisa and her father is her coach. She dreams of being a great fighter like her mother was, who abandoned it when she became a mother, just as she doesn’t approve of the fact that she practices that sport because she wants to protect her from risk. She is also interested in history of any kind, myths, legends, etc. She also feels that her parents are keeping a big secret from her and her siblings, but she doesn't want to delve too deeply into it.

She dates the star model of the moment, Zatz. Many girls envy her for that, especially Acat, Zatz's ex (conveniently, she also practices boxing fight like her, only in another club. Which means that the two have a very constant rivalry and enmity)

ZATZ: He’s the star model of the most popular magazine in the city of Tecapolis (I don't know whether to change the name), but his greatest aspiration is to become a lawyer because he likes order and justice, and for a good reason: his father is in prison for committing a crime he did not commit, so he made it his mission to get his father out of prison. (It should be noted that his father was a police officer)

He also received training from his father to defend himself just in case. He works for Mr. Mictlan, head of the advertising company and candidate for mayor of the city and let's say that... working for him is not the best thing in the world.

He lives with his cousin, Chimi, in an apartment.

RICO: He studies natural sciences and chemistry, he wants to be a great scientist in the future. He has always had a deep crush on Chimi since he met her, and they have been dating her for weeks. They aren’t officially dating yet, but Rico is working on it.

He lives with his aunt, who has a somewhat poor opinion of him since his grandfather died. He tries to ignore it, but it still hurts.

CHIMI: She studies biology to be a great veterinarian. She loves animals and every time she can, she rescues animals that live on the streets in very bad condition.

Since she was a child, she has been bullied by some people because of her albinism, she manages to have some tolerance thanks to her friends. She has feelings for Rico, he seems very silly to her sometimes, but to her, he’s very cute and funny.

PICCHU: Like Maya, Picchu trains at the boxing club, although he doesn't spend much time there. Before, he had feelings for Chimi, but when she clarified that she didn't feel the same way about him and that she only saw him as a friend, he happily accepted it. After a few months, he met Barbara, a classmate from school (who also works at the Mictlan company), and as time went by, he began to have feelings for her.

He studies criminology with the dream of being a police officer one day.
