Suffering from Luigi’s Mansion brainrot is not a good thing for me because it means I am just going to think about how the entire game takes place in what I can only assume is avnight, and Luigi definitely did not sleep until Mario was safe, and also Luigi probably has burnt hands from the poltergust being able to spit out fire (this is how I cope with the removed overheat meter). Also Elh.

In my opinion, this is the scariest thing in Luigi's Mansion. So scary, in fact, that they had to cut it out of the game.

POLYBIUS!!

Polybius, aka Poly, is my interpretation of what the arcade urban legend would be like in the world of wreck it ralph; I.E, an eldritch horror that absorbs and assimilates game characters that are foolish enough to find themselves inside the game. Because you see, Poly isn't just a walking blue blob of binary and confusion, they're the entire game. Their base form is based on ELH from the files of Luigis Mansion, amorphous in nature, and unable to speak much. They also seem to be interested in Turbo, too.

ELH is an unused, unfinished enemy found in the files of Luigi's mansion!

He's completely untextured, but has a few animations and attacks.

He's generally unsettling to me, but I've grown to love him. Nobody truly knows what the fuck this guy was supposed to be, but I generally suspect the "EL" part of the file name stands for "elemental", because a few of his attacks (or, just particle effects associated with him in the files) use the different elements found in the game, and, there are some also unused models (if I'm remembering correctly) for element cores, basically just fancy orbs, which I personally believe were meant to sit in that open space in the middle of this guy.

Everyone seems scared of Elh because they never got to know them. They like carving wood and being a jungle gym for little ghost children.

Basically, what you are seeing, is the ghost equivalent of a parental Bigfoot.
