Beautiful thralls attending to his every need, going out and procuring blood for him to drink from their veins, stealing or creating the most exotic and fashionable outfits, building him castles that rivaled those of the greediest kings and queens in history, in both size and lavish decorations. And Jack was bored.

Rhys is just a thrall, but he's a thrall that has somehow retained his personality after the transformation process, and when Jack comes to visit the small castle that Rhys is stationed at, he finds that he's very quickly gotten the full attention of his master. He's not sure that he likes that.

Thirty-Two by Stripesthecoon: Papyrus' injuries during his training with Undyne is starting to show. He decides to confront Undyne about his position as a Guard. Undyne doesn't take it too well. The worst hour of his life soon ensues.

~Shows the descent from Undertale into the Horrortale AU between Papyrus and Undyne. A very gruesome fic!

The Snowdin Sickness by Parasite Nilla (Agraulis_vanillae): What happens when a disease vector enters a previously unexposed population?

~A quietly horrifying story of what a disease can do in an enclosed area like the Underground.

Sugarless Milk Chocolate by starrylitme: “I’m really tired, so... You win, kid. I give up.” And, as awful as it is, those words are liberating. (In which Chara really needs a new method of making friends to murder with. Granted, this method they're going with might just work. Vaguely. Like, they have their moments at least. Circumstances are still pretty terrible, but it's still something.)

~As an anon described it to me, it’s dusttale in the making, Chara attempting to befriend Sans and convince him killing sprees are all the rage. A long fic if you really want to dig into something.

Part One: Vampires

Oathbound by 0neType: "At that point, Sans had smiled at him, slow and self-assured. He had the look of a monster with all the right cards in hand, ready for anything the world could throw at him. Gaster felt his soul stutter still in his chest."

Gaster is more terrible than he believes he is. Sans, unfortunately, has no idea until it's too late.

~Vampirism and mind control go hand in hand in this delightful sanster fic.

Soul Tap by Askellie: Working with the Royal Scientist is not quite what Sans expects.

~Similar story threads to Oathbound, but diverges with the introduction of Papyrus into the narrative as well. Again, some great vampirism + mind control.

Blood and Bones by AngeliaDark: In the beginning, there was hell. Monsters had been sentenced to life underground, and one such survivor did what he had to in order to survive starvation. Flash forward a couple centuries, and Dr. Wingdings Gaster finds someone--or rather, a pair of someones--that he feels should join him in his eternity of darkness and desire.

~Angelia’s story has some great fontfest moments, but also takes the time to delve into the lore of vampires as well.

Serving by Yours Truly :P : Papyrus is commissioned by the reclusive royal scientist for a portrait painting, but has bitten off far more than he can chew.

~Had to plug my own vampire story as well while I’m at it. A fontfest tale with vamp!Gaster.

Part Two: Yandere Papyrus

Regretti by skeletonfricker: When you’re the brother of a guy like Papyrus, you have to expect to put up with a lot of crap. And 99% of the time, Sans was more than willing to do just that. This was the 1%.

“Papyrus,” Sans said in a dangerously low voice, “untie me right now.”

“I will!” He turned away, spooning spaghetti onto a plate. “I will. Just as soon as you’ve eaten my spaghetti.”

Caveatelli by Sora_Tayuya: Sans doesn't listen to warnings and pays the price.

Spiralini(ng out of control) by Lovova: It was so, so stupid. He was going to die in this room. His brother didn't know how to keep him alive. And if LOVE was now apart of their little, heh, 'physical arrangement', then his brother was going to kill him.Oh god his brother was going to kill him. Sans laughed.

~This fic is a real tough one, not going to lie. It left me feeling sick after. Not for the faint of heart!

So I know you've read a lot of Undertale fics, and left massive expository comments on a bunch... Do you have any recommendations of the underfell Sans abuse kind? Or previous abuse to fluffy healing?

I’ll do the best I can to deliver a response that will satisfy.

First, I will give a disclaimer, stating that I have yet to read all of the prominent Undertale fanfictions, and thus my recommendations will be incomplete. However, I will happily recommend anything I have read thus far (all the following stories can be found on A03).

The second disclaimer is that it is imperative that you read the tags for content before committing to any of the fics below - they range from SFW, fluffy, non-con, explicit, casual, etc.

For starters, I’ll offhand suggest the excellent story Learn to Live by I_Write_Sans_Not_Tragedies. Content warnings include a scene of non-con in the first chapter, (be sure to check tags before reading any of the fics I’ll recommend here), but the rest of the fic emphasizes UF Sans getting rehabilitated and comforted by the US brothers. This leads into a series that develops eventually into fluff, which I highly suggest checking out if you are a fan of eventual, casual CherryBerry.

Another long fic is To Love Yourself by undertailsoulsex. Here UF Sans has a rough life with his brother being his only get-away from the harsh realities of the Underground - after an emotional moment, he finds himself in the Undertale universe, and slowly learns some different views on life, as well as reconciling with himself. Deals with complex relationships and perspectives.

For pure abuse and excessive NSFW/non-con material, please note the entire Replacements collection by Idontevenknowugh. The original story is long, cruel, and full of gratuitous torment for an UF and UT Sans. I classify it as a collection as there is a timeline continuation of the work that divides into three parts all running concurrently, but there is an ‘appendix’ that details additional alternate timeline deviations, or ‘worst case scenarios.’ Also see Disbelief.

A Lonely King and His Queen by SansIsAPrettyGirl is another non-con piece with interesting premise, of cruelty done to UF Sans by UF Asgore, as his brother watches on helplessly.

For a variety of ficlet drabbles, you could look up any in the fic collections by SansyFresh or CrushingOnSans, each of whom produce a vast quantity of fics featuring a wide variety of all the skeletons, with a few selections of what you might find interest in. Specifically Devoid by CrushingOnSans, which is fluff that becomes angst and sorrow, and from SansyFresh New Life, Klepto, Forgiveness and Sacrifice, A Different Kind of LOVE, and My Brother.

Both Lucy and IA are very...particular about their enjoyment of tormenting UF Sans. They also have him be cute at the same time, so it makes for a very lengthy, interesting collection of plots.

The terrifyingly excellent Underfell portrayal by AngeliaDark, Full Circle, part 1 of the 3-part series Underfell: A.D. Edition.

Broken Bonds by Indulgenceahoy. Includes the fic Weekdays and the sequel Nobody Came; while UF Sans is not currently present in the fic, many flashbacks or references are made, and there is much sorrow to be had for everybody.

There isn’t much in the abuse department, but Spectascopes is excellent at cute, sweet, and sad rolled into one. Here are their prominent Underfell fics, a variety.

This series by LadyHorizon94. Detail-oriented; very frightening.

The 21st by oONightmareOo. Updates the 21st of each month. Very clever title - very horrific content. Good stuff.

I’d be doing anyone a disservice by not promoting the single most horrific Underfell story/series I have ever read: so horrific and cruel, in fact, that it rendered me incapable of continuing to read it. I completed the first story, then began the sequel, but was incapable of continuing due to content. To frighten even the likes of me...well, this definitely comes with a content warning in advance. Even the author himself, Germindis, has referred to this series as something ��meant to be read by absolute monstrous garbage only”. Truly, it is impressive, the Red City series. While I managed through the first story, Red Stop Signs, with varying degrees of difficulty, I have found great interest in their more recent works as well, particularly Ovipositive (eggs) and A Puppy for Papy, which I hold very dear to the place where my heart should be.

Moving away from intensive torture writing, we have Line in the Snow by CatKing_Catkin, Sleep by Glorious_Monday, the excellent but very intense goddamn, we missed the vein series by cashtastrophe, I’ve Grown to Hate You by SaJellyFish, The Strangest Alternate Universe by DeckofDragons (long, excellent), sticks & stones by 0neType, I’m crazy but you’re not sane either by xXUndertale_loverXx, pretty, poised by sweetsinnerchild (while this isn’t tagged as Underfell, they don’t explicitly say which set of skeletons it is, so it could be read as either UT or UF) - they do a few good UF fics, recommended, Bright Eyes by captain_shitpost, I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up by UnicornPunk...

I mean, I could keep going and list every single excellent UF fic from every category I have read or intend to read, and then this post would end up being 8x as long. There are amazing stories and authors I didn’t cover, and I implore you to explore on your own, as well as investigate other authors in the fandom. They tend to link to each other’s fics frequently to highlight favorites.

If I didn’t mention your fic, my apologies. I just...read so many...gods. It would take me an actual full day to write up all of the UF fics that I’ve read and enjoyed. Just Underfell. Not even counting the other AUs, Underswap, etc.

Hope this was helpful in some way, for at least a start. I fear I didn’t mention enough abuse-to-fluff/recovery fics...oh well.

Hi there,

I’m so sorry that your brother has been doing this to you, love. You deserve so much better than this and it’s so wrong that your mom won’t do anything to stop it. 

Is there anyone else who lives with you, your brother, and your mom? If so, I highly recommend that you try talking to them about what’s going on. You can also try talking to another family member if nobody else lives with you guys, so you can see if they will do anything about it. I would hope that someone around you would talk to your mom and brother about what’s going on.

You could also try talking to a trusted teacher or school counselor about your situation at home. I believe that they would be required to contact your mom and possibly the police once you tell them about the abuse. That might sound intimidating, but what your brother is doing is wrong and it’s unacceptable that your mom isn’t doing anything to stop it.

Because you said that you don’t feel safe in your own home, you could also call the police yourself if you feel like you’re in danger. Abuse is something that the police should take seriously, so that’s always an option. There are also helplines that you can contact if you need to. 

Something that you might try is establishing a “safe space” for yourself. For example, if you need to immediately get out of your house because of your brother, you have somewhere where you know you can always go. It could be a friends’ house, a neighbor’s house, a family member’s house, etc. You could talk to someone, or even a few people, about establishing their place as a safe space that you can go whenever you need to get away from your brother. If you do this, you’ll always know that you have a safe place to go rather than somewhere like the train station.

Whatever you end up doing, I hope that you’re able to get away from your brother and his abuse. You deserve a safe environment to live in and I hope you’re able to get that.
