I once went to an acting workshop that was taught by the guy who played jerry russo and he told us about how he basically has a #squad of balding dad-boddish guys because they're always auditioning for the same roles and there was one time that he was up for a fast food commercial that had him doing a sexy short-shorts slow-mo carwash pin-up type thing and it came down to him and another guy and he didn't get it so he assumed that the other guy did and he called him to congratulate him and the other guy was like "I didn't get it I thought YOU got it" and so both of them were like "who the fuck got this part" and then MONTHS LATER he was watching tv and he saw Theeeeee Ad but they had chickened out and went with the cliche skinny female model angle instead and the moral of the story was that sometimes you won't get a part and it's not because you did anything wrong is because you weren't what the casting director wanted. Which is a very good lesson to learn HOWEVER I'm in a constant state of mourning for the burger commercials we could have had if executives weren't a bunch of fucking cowards

This story made my night. Jerry russo I love you so bad. Had I seen you in that commercial I would have watched it a million times. You are the father I already have.

69. What kind of episode would you kill to have happen?

Oh my GOOOODDDDD! I was just thinking this the other day but give me a kidnapping episode! Or like a bank hostage episode? The Brawl in Cell 911 was great but I want more. I know the show can do it because they went so hard with the Jeffrey storyline and it drives me a little nutty that we wasted it on kid whump (no hate... well kinda cus I hate kid whump BUT I spent the whole storyline uncomfortable rather than invested in the story).

Also I agree about the wanting a bottle episode. Give me an episode where it's just them trapped in the firehouse during a big ass rain storm or something.

I'd love another Buckley Siblings episode. Maybe one where Buck and Maddie are up to absolute shenanigans because I feel like if they make me cry again, I will go insane.
