Ambrose is a little used to being stared at but he’s not so used to people being nervous of him yet. While it isn’t the first time someone was wary of him it still takes a little getting used to.

And admittedly his cheeks are a bit red, flustered from embarrassment at blurting out his thoughts before he could consider his words more carefully.

“I don’t mean any harm, though, honest.” He says quietly, almost nervous in tone himself. He wishes he could do more to make people feel more at ease when they realize his horns are real but really all he can do is try to reassure them, right? “I didn’t mean to startle you either. So… sor-sorry for that.”
