Hello, everyone! I just thought I'd hop on and thank you all for your patience regarding the newest chapter of A Magnolia in May. I promise it will be out soon, I just have to set aside some time to actually get it written and not end up getting distracted by something else.

I - I called him to an abandoned church.

He wanted to kill Goddess. He'd gone bloody insane, talking about protecting Father.

He wanted Goddess. I refused to hand Her over. We fought.

He won - only because of how he cheated, mind you. He used his Patterns to interpret my moves.

He had me down. He could've killed me - he should have. Maybe he'd - he'd still be here. If I hadn't provoked him, he wouldn't even have tried to kill Chloe and Maze.

But he did. He did try. And - and I killed the brother who, even after everything, loved me enough to not use Azrael's sword on me.

I killed him with that very sword.

He didn't see it coming.

Uriel died in my arms, and the last thing he did? He helped me. He told me how to find Mother's Flaming Sword.
