Morning from the UK everyone and a happy Monday to you all! It’s time for another book haul 😜 Love Orange is the debut novel from Natasha Randall which exposes the seam of secrets within an American family. It reveals a family facing up to the modern age with the ascendancy of technology, the predicaments of masculinity, the pathologising of children, the epidemic of opioid addiction and the tyranny of the WhatsApp gods. I was also instantly intrigued by O Caledonia, a novel which traces the chain of events that in the dour setting of the 1940’s and 50’s cause the bizarre death of a young girl.
