I have many lmao. Louis’ confidence has been a rollercoaster and not linear (like Harry’s). He started txf extremely confident on stage. He didn’t have an opportunity to show but in the small bits he shows up you can he he is clearly happy and comfy on stage (harry looks like he is 1 second away from throwing up for comparison). Then that carried over to 1d until the faithful 2013. It’s like night and day watching a 2012 uan show and a 2014 wwat show. He started pulling his mic away from him during his parts, not sing loud enough when he wasn’t strictly needed and you can just see the singing part wasn’t something he was looking forward to. BECAUSE BECAUSE SOME FUCKERS did god knows what to him that shattered and beat the gay out of him his natural performance skills and confidence on his voice. When solo came around he obviously had to sing and he clearly worked really hard w Helene for that. Still the tour shows are so much more confident voice wise than before. But then when singing is #1 priority it makes sense to protect you otherwise. Better to wear a hoodie than a tank top you know people can see your chest and have Opinions. So I do think he chose clothes that were not A Topic and protected him. This is not me bashing the clothes. They were still VERY much what he likes and carefully picked. I just think he knows too that they were not “stage” clothes. That brings us to now! He has FLOURISH as a performer and looks AT HOME in the stage. Something quite honestly I hadn’t seen from him for years. My hear is SO FULL because he clearly loves performing and it was very much stolen from him for years because of whatever they did to him mid 1d. So the barricade thing is actually to me a pretty big deal. You have to be a pop star level of confident to do that and enjoy. And he does! Couldn’t be happier for L these days. Hope he enjoys every bit of this.

once again thinking about how especially in the early seasons Mulder seems to really like looking up at Scully, like oftentimes he'll sit down when she's standing for no good reason, just for something to do or to see her taller than him, and I just think it's really cute

watching people become increasingly ride-or-die for Special Agent Dana Katherine Scully, M.D., is something that can actually be so personal

see the thing I'm greatly enjoying about TXF s8 is that there's this unspoken "Scully protection squad," like... MSR are so insular, so isolated to each other, but when they're apart and Scully has to depend more on Skinner and the Gunmen and Doggett then you just REALIZE... she has so many people who would go to the ends of the earth for her and Mulder, they're far less alone than the narrative usually makes it seem, and that is SO important to me

season 6 Scully is so soft and tired and deserves hugs and gentleness and instead she gets nonstop stress and frustration and I just think that's Rude :(

NO BUT LIKE the X-Files literally had their female lead shoot and kill a man in cold blood who had previously tormented her, she didn't HAVE to do that, it's not a question of self-defense at that point it's just straight-up MURDER, and then after 6 and (almost) a half seasons plus a whole movie of the male lead focusing every ounce of purpose he has on pursuit of the truth in a world full of lies, HE LIES FOR HER. it's always been about justice via the truth, making the truth come to light no matter the cost, but just this once he willingly hides the truth — but only for her

I like how in Teso Dos Bichos when Mulder very genuinely goes "i hate this" about having to check all the toilets, Scully turns around to look at him with this little exasperated smile. she's so gone for that idiot.
