You’re A Part Of Me Wars would for sure look at all of the others genuinely concerned for their well being (not that he’s ANY better off), but I think he’d go over to LTTC Wars and give him a hug and tell him he’ll be okay eventually. LTTC Wars would be so confused by the gesture, but I think those two would bond over a shared love of oranges, and they’d for sure talk about Mask. LTTC Wars is literally just You’re A Part Of Me Wars but if his first language WASN’T whatever it is hylian’s speak (I’ve been calling it hyrulian common-) and if he never got to meet an older Mask on his second adventure. Otherwise they’re pretty much the same, they’d get along well

The Wars from the college au I wrote (that will never see the light of day except for that one fic i wrote) would high key be sitting back judging the others, he would not be too happy to see all these other versions of himself, he doesn’t like himself or them. He’d much rather be somewhere else, this is his literal worst nightmare

Twilight AU Wars is so tired and confused at this point, he’s been fighting for his life in Forks Washington, and now he’s here with a bunch of other hims?? He’d probably fall to his knees and cry out of sheer frustration, and that would earn him a hug from You’re A Part Of Me Wars, who really is the most mentally stable of the bunch but not by a whole lot. Twilight AU Wars is definitely very upset College AU Wars got a pink tank top and he’s stuck in a brown zip up hoodie

FH9 Wars is dead over in the corner, rip buddy- He’d be laying face down in a puddle and the others would collectively pretend he wasn’t just laying there. If he were alive he’d be losing his mind over the concept of an accessible multiverse, and he’d definitely talk to all the others about their life experiences. He’d be disappointed in College AU Wars for being an english major (because FH9 Wars is an engineer), and he’d be confused as to why OOaSE Wars went into law enforcement (again because he’s been so interested in being an engineer his whole life the possibility of anything else just didn’t EXIST for him). He’d probably be a little crushed to learn he and Mask aren’t biological siblings in every universe, but it would make him very very happy to learn they manage to find a way to find each other anyway, in every universe

Swan Wars is just pissed all the others have opposable thumbs, he definitely bites one of the others, and it’s definitely College Au Wars

OOaSE Wars is having the time of his life, though he’d definitely think he was hallucinating all this. He’s a real chatterbox that one, and he’d be the most talkative besides maybe FH9 who is also an extroverted little energy ball. The others would be able to tell his social battery is low because work has been kicking his ASS and he’s pushing through anyway to talk to them all, but he’d just be happy to be there

LTTC Wars and FH9 Wars would ABSOLUTELY call You’re A Part Of Me Wars out on his bullshit at some point, but they’d both find comfort in seeing this version of them who’d been so hurt and traumatized over the course of his life, same as them, who has found a way to heal as much as he has. They’d be so incredibly proud of him

OOaSE Wars is just confused none of the other hims went for their Zelda as a romantic partner, because in HIS universe she’s bisexual, in the other’s universes, she’s usually a lesbian or just strongly prefers women or is much older than he is

You’re A Part Of Me Wars would give everyone an orange before they left, and some of them would be confused by this, but to LTTC Wars that would mean the world

rip LU/LTTC Warriors you would fucking love this

I always hc warriors as having problems with the heat because if his burn scars and not being able to sweat right and pre-existing heat injury. Does it bother your warriors at all?

It does!!

He has such extensive scarring because of those burns for me I imagine he has quite a difficult time regulating his temperature. For me, most of his left side is covered in burn scars, it’s just hard to see because he usually wears clothes that cover it up. I just haven’t really had a chance to talk about it in an LU fic, but in the Links Meet AU I’m writing ( @linked-through-the-centuries ) this is something that I’m planning on bringing up. I might also throw it in an LU fic tho :)

the URGE and the NEED to write a fic where Warriors accidentally touches Twi’s crystal and turns into a swan with a little blue scarf and gets stuck like that until they can find Sky vs the knowledge that poor mandarin wars anon is out there and has been waiting two months for me to write their request vs the knowledge that people are waiting for another LTTC update from me

if this post gets 20 notes i will write that fic with Swan Wars tho, I will add it to my list of fics I wanna finish before June

For both your lttc au and regular linked universe, I think I remember you saying Warriors always carries small daggers on his person (I apologize if I misremember). So, imagine Mask desperately wants to give Warriors some sort of gift that will be useful to him, so he sets about creating him a beautiful, well crafted dagger. Now, this goes both ways for me:

One, Mask manages to give Warriors the knife before they separate during the middle of the battle close to the end of the war, and Warriors ends up only having Mask's gifted dagger after he shoves the kid through the portal. Having that blade (might be enchanted idrk) was what saved his life.

In lttc that will also be the knife Warriors nearly stabs Mask with when they meet in chapter 1 :D :D :D

Second, Mask never got around to finishing the blade and was devastated he never got to repay Warriors even a little bit. So, back home in his Hyrule he finishes up the blade (also has a little breakdown right there as a treat hehe) and hopes he can see his brother again and give him the gift. Later, when the chain is together and they go to his Era Mask/Time fishes the old dagger up from an old chest and finally gives it to Warriors - cue emotional moment.

You don't have to do anything with this, it was just a headcanon I had and wanted wanted to share :) 🫶

He does carry a bunch of daggers and small knives, he’s got at MINIMUM four on him at all times if not more, and in LTTC, he’s got 8

I’m obsessed with this actually. I had something like this sort of planned at one point and then I totally forgot about it, thank you so much for reminding me about it 😭

Your idea is definitely better than mine tho, and I’d love to incorporate this if you don’t mind 👀

'Fun' Facts about Mask:

At the end of the War of Eras, right before he went home, his Fierce Deity mask was shattered when he got hit really hard in the face, which broke both the mask and his nose. Since he was wearing the mask when it broke, the Fierce Deity sort of lives in his mind now, Mask can sometimes hear his voice. He can still draw on the Deity's strength and power, although he cannot fully transform. (He tried to once, after he went home, and that's what burned the Deity's markings into his face and turned his eye white. He has not tried since because it hurt, and he's too scared to try again.)

He was blinded in his right eye during the war due to a strike across his face, there's a large scar through his eye, however when he tried (and failed) to transform fully into the Deity after the mask broke, his eye was somehow healed. It is fully functional again, he can see out of it just fine, even though there is a massive scar over his eyelid that makes it hard for him to fully open that eye sometimes. The eye is completely white, but it works just like his other one

Malon is the only one back home he's told everything to. She knows quite literally everything he's been through because he's told her (after a lot of coaxing and promises she'd believe him). They're still working out their relationship, Mask is completely in love with her but hasn't yet made a move to ask her out. (Malon will end up making the first move.)

Mask and his Zelda are close friends, they meet up at least once a month to talk. His hyrule doesn't really associate MASK with the title "Hero of Time", even though he is, so to them he's just some weird kid the queen really likes

Has an insanely accurate internal clock. He may not know the precise time (he couldn't tell you if it was 4:07 pm), but he is aware of the shift of every hour, which freaks out the others a bit

He misses Navi so much it hurts, and Proxi feels how badly he misses her, so she often sits on his head to try to comfort him. It works a little, nothing will ever heal the hole in his heart Navi left, but he appreciates her gesture, and he loves her too. The years between the War of Eras and LTTC were hard for him because he missed Proxi as much as he missed the other friends he made

In HW. Building off of my last ask about this. Heads up, this might be the most incoherent(not the right word I think but whatever) ask I’ve sent yet. I can’t seem to word too well today.

Ravio gets injured somewhat early on after he joins, like he gets hit with a club to the face or something. The rest of the gang (I find it really funny to just call them the gang) sees his face and he is trying so hard not to freak out. It is very obvious that he’s self conscious about his face, and the others are trying their best to respect that while patching him up. But it is very concerning how much he is freaking out about his face. And you know how some artists draw Ravio with a bunny mask? What if they give/make him a bunny mask so that he doesn’t need to have his hood up all the time and can get a bit more comfortable and stuff

So Yuga is also in Hyrule Warriors right? And he would recognize Ravio right? So what if he tells Cia about him. She doesn’t really consider him to be a “true” Link at first, but with some convincing from Yuga, Ravio (and by extension his Link) is now on her statue list. And then the gang goes to the statue garden and Ravio almost throws up. To be fair, I think a lot of the gang would feel sick upon seeing it haha.

Most of the group are confused as to why Ravio’s there. I’d image there would be two statues, one of AlbW Link and one of Ravio, and they’d ask if he’s his Link’s twin brother. The way he agreed with that as quickly and as fake-enthusiastically as he did makes everyone suspicious. After a confrontation with Yuga at some point (I have no real timeline I’m just making things happen), they figure out that Ravio is basically an alternate version of his Link. Ravio is freaking out but everyone doesn’t really care, they just want him to be okay <3

Man, I should write something about this when I’m more coherent. Idk, I just want to write about Ravio in HW lol

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH, ITD BE SO SWEET OF THEM TO GIVE HIM THE MASK

I’ve written some of Ravio in the war in LTTC, but he feels more comfortable taking his hood off because he looks like his Link in some ways, but he is very different in enough ways that he wouldn’t be seen as similar to Past (ALBW Link) unless they were right next to each other. LTTC Ravio still wears a mask a lot but not because he’s scared of being compared to Link, he’s got other reasons. It’s really cool to think about an opposite scenario where he’d be afraid of being recognized!!

You should absolutely write this (if you want, and if you have time), i would absolutely read it it seems super interesting >:)

Warriors to me has always had the vibe of someone who’d have a December (or February) birthday, I have no idea why, but I’ve long ago accepted that I’m weird as hell lmao

I’VE HAD FIC IDEAS FOR A LIL BIRTHDAY FIC FOR HIM FOR A WHILE, but I dunno if I’ll be able to get around to posting it because the first real fic I post is going to be Mandarin Wars anon’s fic, and I’m still working on some details with that one, plus I gotta update LTTC, FH9, and the fic I wrote with @hero-of-the-wolf

But who knows, maybe I’ll be able to get it done in time alskkdkd
