I feel like one of the most important aspects of Life Series Grian’s character that gets missed sometimes is how integral his need for choice is, if he doesn’t feel like something is at least somewhat within his control, like he doesn’t have a say, he fights back against it regardless of any logic or history behind it. If he doesn’t get to outright choose his alliances or have a backup plan/trick for fights, he flounders, HARD. He’ll do what he has to to regain some control again. He will almost always choose survival over anything else he has in the games, since that’s the only thing he’s always able to depend on being his choice and his choice alone to choose. And if he chooses otherwise? It’s on his terms

mostly did this as practice but i'm pleased with how it turned out! i'm working on improving my colors, mainly getting them to be more cohesive without using overlays (and focusing a little more on color theory rather than just. picking the colors as i see them) - while it is Far from my best value work, i'm still happy with it!

also if it isn't obvious i got a reference for exactly 0 things on here. especially the sunflowers. most i did was take one (1) glance at my own wheelchair (which, i cannot stress enough, is nothing like this one) to see Vaguely what the undercarriage looks like and then did not look at it again (character design is referenced off of a generalization of the scar designs i've seen in the past, + my own interpretation of his normal skin n his secret life skin! it's definitely subject to change but i like it so far :])

They have scratches on their arms from a "Cat" and "scratched himself". They have a scar on their leg from "Big Manhandla" and one on his chest from Ganon.
