I think that there should be another game with the link from spirit tracks. Where he gets a proper hero title.
#and it should be multiplayer. just to round things out#the adult timeline is the only part of the tl that doesn’t have a multiplayer title#and I don’t think that’s fair#loz#loz spirit tracks#loz st#so what if I’m a little obsessed with the train game

Multiple Links au
It’s been a week of traveling as a whole group. What they assume is a whole group. Surely eight is plenty, right? Not dopplegangers, not twins, not ‘shadows’, but eight people with the same name and story and sense of justice surely don’t just meet every day.
The fire has gotten roaring, and rations are handed out in organized, mostly-civil silence, because if they dare slip too much out of this rigid pattern then meals will be a free-for-all of first-come-first-serve of stolen jerky and guarded fruit and they know themselves well enough to realize that would be an unideal situation for the sake of one night of reigning over the food pile.
So supper is dispensed in relative silence, to get it done with as fast as possible, and then is when they begin to relax a little, food in hand and weight off their feet. It is not yet night, but the calm evening hour where the sun is low but not yet near the horizon. Birds start to nest. Bats are out instead, snatching bugs out of the air.
It’s been a week. Mostly one of nodding back and forth and cautious feeling-out. A few careful spars—closer to demonstrations than a spar, even, with how they sidestep each other’s swipes and no one seems quite willing to follow through. Maybe if they found some nice long sticks instead of their swords.
One suggests they seek out a dojo for bokken, and another asks what a dojo and a bokken is, and they all sort of-- dissolve against each other like that, bumping up against words and ideas that are much less familiar than the faces around the fire are.
It is a very strange week. Mostly filled with silence and interspersed with logistics. Where are they (not home.) Who are they (not recognized, but in a new, funhouse mirror sort of way this time.) (what was a funhouse mirror?) (Well. You see. Hm.) (They were all a bit more used to things being explained at them, not having to do the explaining. Their best friend, you see, was an explainer, and-- oh. She’s your best friend, too?)
So they were still toeing the waters, but they had toed it enough to know they couldn’t all use their real name all the time, because just an hour before a deku baba had popped by the edge of the path.
Someone had shouted, “Link, look out!” and everyone else had turned, and it had been just as effective as shouting “look out!” to no one in particular at all.
It is not nearly as big a deal to tap someone on the shoulder and quietly point out a bird then to shout "look out!" to a group of six-or-seven armed loners spinning in all directions to find an ambush.
So they probably should figure something about about that, but all of them have only ever been gifted nicknames, not taken them, and so all seem to be waiting for the others to make a move first.
"So," Link-with-a-blue-scarf says, setting his empty dish aside and leaning into the circle. Everyone sits up a little and leans in in response.
Link-with-the-blue-scarf has hair cropped short and neat, and he's been the most casual about so many identical strangers. He opens with, "We should probably talk about the death thing."
A long look travels around the circle of them, unsure eyes and neutral expressions trying to read each other and gauge each other's reactions, to see if anyone else is confused or if this is something only they don't know about.
"Um," one of the other blue ones raises his hand. It is the youngest of them, whose skin is tanned darkest and hair bleached palest, and his expression least impressed. The hammer on his back is twice as big as his head and adorned with a moblin skull. "Be more specific. Phantoms? Poes?"
"Death?" Link of the blue scarf says. "When you die?"
"With or without dolls?" the gangliest of them says. He has no sword, except for when the deku baba attacked, and a ruby sword appeared in his hand.
"Um," says blue scarf. "Without dolls?"
They are all silent again, waiting for someone to explain the dolls.
"Yeah, that might be bad," Gangly-with-dolls says. "Do all of us have to die or will it all reset if only one of us does?"
"What are you all talking about?" their cook says. Simultaneously, three others leap to their feet, all shouting, "wait, you die too?"
The tallest Link in the group stands, pulls out an ocarina, and blasts a note so shrill the night falls silent around them.
Everyone shuts up.
The tallest Link lowers his ocarina.
He has a full chestplate of armor and a red and white mask at his hip. His greatsword is as thick as his arm.
"Thank you," he says. "I'm calling a time out. I was under the impression only I could die and come back, and that it was a side effect of an item I carried."
"It happens without dolls, too," Gangly-dolls says helpfully.
"What item?" Scarfy interrupts.
The tallest Link holds up his ocarina. Several of them plug their ears, but he doesn’t blow again.
"This seems to have minor control over recent time. I have never died without it." He pauses. "Well. To my knowledge."
"Okay, well, we don't all come back," says the only Link whose hair is red. Pink, even. He had jumped up and shouted before, and now sat down again cross-legged and cross-armed, frowning. "Because the hero before me died and stayed dead, and it was kind of a problem."
"Maybe they weren't really the hero?" Scarf says, but it is half-hesitant. Unconvinced.
"I wasn't the hero," says the boy with the skull hammer. "But I also didn't die until after I became the hero, so."
(One of them is sitting very still, looking very pale. Nauseous even. He is loosening the shawl around his neck and tugging on his collar. They are politely ignoring him, because if he is not kicking a fuss he is probably trying to hide it. If he does vomit, they'll swarm him.)
"Okay, but all of us here have died, right?" Blue-Scarf says, looking around the suddenly animated circle. No one happy but everyone is listening. The Link who's self-appointed as cook each night has gone pale too, and the redhead has started ripping up grass where he sits. "I've never died around someone who also can die, and so I'm not sure either what the mechanics would be, and no one has died so far, I'm assuming?"
No one spoke to disagree.
"Okay. We need to decide now if when that potentially happens, what kind of reactions we are going to take. If we're going to press forward and presume we are regular people in this instance, or if we believe a total party kill is necessary, and if so: do the survivors press on and scout, potentially losing people forever, or are we risking a weeks-long reset if there’s a long period between the first and last death? What's the longest anyone's gone back?"
"Few hours."
"Urp…"
"Hour or two, yeah."
"Four hours."
"This is a terrible question."
"Three days," says the one with the ocarina. "...though, apparently, I have been misreading the cause."
There are a couple nods, and one, "I mean, you can time travel without dying, so," which from the redhead which goes ignored.
Scarfy speaks up again. "Okay. So, it seems to prefer very short term. So, I'm not excited to say it, but if we suffer a casualty it seems like a fast total party kill would be the… yes?"
A hand has gone up. It is their self-appointed cook. He carries no bags with him, or swords, or bedroll, or spare cloak. Just a slab on his hip, beset with lapis and gold. His skin is two-toned, his arm and half his face tanning differently on one side of his body than the other.
The hand is shaking.
"Hi. Uh." He lowers his hand to cover his mouth. He clears his throat. The hand still shakes, even when his voice doesn’t. "I think there's been a mistake."

Triforce Heroes Backstory
One day, three near-identical, pointy-eared swordsmen with side-parted hair happened to stumble upon the kingdom of Hytopia at the same time and place. As the prophecy foretold, they joined in the quest to save Princess Styla from her ugly fate. They came from very different lands and backgrounds yet bear the exact same name, Link, after the courageous hero of legends. Because of this, the trio used simple nicknames, and generous amounts of hair dye, to differentiate themselves.
Ember
Ember is a soft-spoken arborist and aspiring dancer hailing from the heart of Holodrum. He was raised by a lovely couple, Bipin and Blossom, in a quaint town called Horon Village. Ember was a bit of a shy kid and a slacker before he discovered a love for music and dance. Then, he was mentored by the Oracle Din. She helped bring him out of his shell and even encouraged him to take up swordsmanship to protect himself and his family. Din would often refer to this child as a "shy little ember" who had the potential to become a great and passionate flame, from which his nickname was derived.
On his 16th birthday, Ember went traveling outside his homeland to explore the world and its boundaries with nothing but a couple of rupees, an old sword, and the clothes on his back. Optimistic of the exciting things he may see, he traveled to many distant lands before finding his way to Hytopia where he was scouted for the Witch-Hunting Brigade. Working with the other Triforce Heroes and saving princess Styla helped Ember build character and find his own inner strength and power.
Aqua
Aqua is an energetic warrior and emotional singer hailing from the land of Labrynna. He was taken in by a sweet couple, Ralph and Nayru (the oracle), in a quaint cottage just outside Lynna City. He was a bit of an hyperactive and reckless kid who loved swimming in the rivers and sea and was fascinated with looking for mermaids and sirens. As Aqua grew up, he developed a love of heroic stories and epic ballads, taking up singing like his mother and swordsmanship from his father. He was especially inspired by the legends of a Hyrulian hero that his parents told him about, the one that saved the land thrice over and personally passed down his sword technique to Ralph.
On his 16th birthday, Aqua set out to find his own daring adventure out in the world. By doing so, this thrillseeker hoped to get inspiration for his songwriting, hone his swordmanship skills, and finally live out the hero life he only ever sang about before. Optimistic of the exciting new things he may experience, Aqua traveled to many distant lands before finding his way to Hytopia where he was scouted for the Witch-Hunting Brigade under a random nickname. Working with the other Triforce Heroes and going on such an epic journey helped Aqua learn how to be wiser and think things through instead of hastily jumping into dangerous yet exhilarating situations.
Clover
Clover was an artsy but apathetic hero of his own right when he left the kingdom of Hyrule. After his adventure between two worlds, he went on a journey running away chasing an unattainable dream and found himself traveling north towards Hytopia. There, he ended up joining the Witch-Hunting Brigade. Going by a childhood nickname, Clover worked with the other Triforce Heroes and found joy and brotherhood, something that he previously believed he wouldn’t get to experience in the life of a hero, before working up the courage to return home.
Here's my shitty little doodles of what Ember's (middle) and Aqua's (right) outfits could look like plus Clover's (left) swordmaster suit. Ember has the arborist hat like his dad, white scarf and decals from the power rangers suit, and fire gloves from the fire blazer outfit. Aqua has the crown from the water torrent robe and his dad's cape from OoA. I want their main outfits to have subtle changes and accessories to the same basic sword suit tunic.
These three found a love of fashion and heroism with their fellow brothers-in-arms as they came together to go on adventures from forests, lakes, and deserts, sporting new outfits and brightly dyed hair. And once their journey was complete, Ember and Aqua decided to continue traveling the world together to this day while Clover went back to Hyrule, later helping Zelda and Styla forge an alliance.
#did some mini backstories for ember and aqua#im ashamed to admit the amount of research i did on how to help raise the kid in the oracles games (where i drew a lot of inspo from)#i love the idea they come from the oracles of their lands and they all dye their hair like their respective oracles#i would love to play triforce heroes multiplayer but alas#at least four swords is on switch now#i have many ideas about how hytopian culture revolves around fashion that i was going to include but i'll make a whole new post for instead#i also decided to make the ravio stuff a seperate post too#albw was my most favorite loz game growing up so there was a LOT#tc ember#tc aqua#tc clover#tc au#twin chains#loz#triforce heroes#tri force heroes

and now... the moment y'all have been waiting for...
A Tears of the Kingdom trailer breakdown!
Heeeey everyone! For once I'm actually gonna make a trailer breakdown for Tears of the Kingdom! When I saw the trailer, I just couldn't ignore all the details in it! Anyways, with that being said, let's hop to it!
While Link is skydiving (40 sec mark), we can see crop circle-like markings on the ground in the top left and top right corners of the screen. Top left looks like a dragon and top right looks like a teardrop. Perhaps these are mazes like the ones in BotW. Or maybe they're something greater than those labybrinths...
A few seconds later, we see some pillars of light on the ground with a tower of sorts in the middle of the light source. Maybe these are supposed to be the replacement for Sheika towers.
Looks like Hateno Village got a bit of a glow up! I wonder what new stores will be introduced...
And it looks like after BotW all the malice surrounding Hyrule Castle dissapeared and it's safe for people to go over there again! But... one question: why would they go back when Hyrule Castle is gone and Ganon's back? Whatever. It's good to see life coming back to Hyrule.
At the minute and two seconds mark we get our first look at what appears to be the Zonai shrines! If that's the case, they look awesome!
Hyrule Castle has been relocated to what looks like the Gerudo Desert. Maybe the castle relocates whenever you move to an importaint location in the story (on the surface).
New Death Mountain areas! Finally, an actual reson to go there besides for the shrines and Goron Town (I'm so sorry!)
We get a shot of a mysterious flying ship at the minute and a half mark. Dunno what else to say about this other than that the ship looks sick as hell.
Shots of what appear to be either full blown dungeons or just shrines (and it looks we can get a skydiving suit, too! I wonder how...)
At the minute and forty second mark we get a shot of a new character that may be of importaint significance in the story. Suprisingly, this being is the same one that we see in the mural from a few trailers ago! Perhaps this is Hylia herself?
Around the minute fifty second mark we see the throne room of Hyrule Castle back to normal... or so it looks like...
5 seconds later we get the big reveal: Zelda's still alive after that big ass fall we've seen in the past few trailers!
Some unknown character talks about Link being the final hope of Hyrule (or something like that). Who this character might be? I'll leave that to your imagination.
Some Death Star-lookin' object can be seen on screen. Dunno what else to say besides that.
We see Link with some of the decendants of the Champions (Yunobo and Teba's child?) (this isn't the only time the Champion decendants are shown!)
Two minutes and thirty four seconds in we see what looks like the second most amazing thing in the trailer (besides lore): mech battles are real! Woooo baby!
Eldritch demon looking spider/crab thing. Most likely a boss.
Looks like Zelda's holding a Nayru Tear from Skyward Sword... funny... goddess tears in TotK *flashbacks to silent realm Lanayru Desert intensify*
Three minutes in we see malice take over Link's arm. I have nothing else to say about that exept that.
3 seconds later we see Ganon back in the flesh and not looking like a demon spawn from hell or a husky boi from the past few trailers!
6 seconds after that last point I made we see some lady that has almost the same outfit Zelda wears in TotK. She might be of some importance in the story. As for her identity, it remails a mystery.
Riju makes a comeback!!!
Some battle-ready villagers standing alongside Link. Nothing more, nothing less.
Sidon makes a comeback!!!
Speaking of that scene in particular...
Potential multiplayer reveal???
Anyways, moving on.
The Champion decendants help Link fight a hydra-lookin' dragon
And finally, looks like Zelda's in some different area of Hyrule. Or somewhere else...
And that's all I have! If y'all find something else, feel free to add on in the notes (comment or reply, I don't care)!
#tears of the kingdom#loz#trailer analysis#god this took me a while to make#but seriously tho. multiplayer? plz?

can you do Ben headcanons? ^_^ I loved your Toby ones(^^)
i might be out of touch with BEN !! but i’m gonna try to do my best STRAIGHTLY AVOIDING how he was in 2013 (a freak.)
BEN DROWNED HCS
GENERAL HCS:
Another firm belief he is just. Short. (no shade to my short kings, me too..)
5’1.
Cyberpunk style.
His voice sounds very glitchy and electronic.
Layered neck length hair.
Blonde obviously!
Also has Jeff cut his bangs, he likes the layers a lot.
He definitely uses the floating he has to make himself feel taller.
3 Piercings on his ears but nothing else.
Elf ears!!!
Loves Phonk music, Or anything with cool noises/Electronic sounds.
The Weeknd, Pastel Ghost, Blink182, Daft Punk, Crystal Castles, Laura Les, Odetari, Grimes, Machine Girl, 1nonly, Eternxlkz, SXID, NUEKI, Akiaura, Sidewalks and Skeletons, MGMT, S3RL, Grimes, Yeule fan!!
Definitely makes his own music
Only noises and sounds he does NOT want to sing ever he just likes the way music can make you feel.
Puts his music on soundcloud.
I know Jeff is in the comments saying “delete ts bro 🔥🔥.”
It’s actually really good.
LOVES Vintage video games but he’s also on overwatch 2, LOL, the finals, Roblox, DBD, Apex, PUBG, CSGO, Valorant, RS6 Siege, and Fortnite.
Yes he’s fucking GOATED at all of them.
Genuinely means it when he threatens to DOX people on any of them.
Very nerd behavior.
Stubborn and an Asshole.
Has multiple accounts on each of the multiplayer games just because it’s too much of a risk to gain popularity.
A lot of his rude traits are just from him having an ego over being good at games and getting compliments all the time.
NOTTT a pervert whatsoever.
This mfker is a gamer he is 100% awkward around anyone he finds attractive.
Mansplains video game lore if ANYONE gets the TINIEST fact wrong.
Tangents about LOZ, Mario, and Smash bros.
ROMANTIC HCS:
I’m so serious when I say he calls you his discord kitten.
Most of the time it’s ironic.
But it catches on so much he’s definitely just enjoying it.
Playing video games 80% of the time!!!
Builds you your own pc.
No console bullshit only the best for his partner.
Matching skins on EVERY GAME.
And matching users.
Definitely goes into vc to crash out if people are being dickheads to you, or if they’re trying to intervene and hit on you.
Going with the pc building he also makes your setup gorgeous, however you want it.
Usually I’m not keen on using this terminology but he is a SIMP bro.
Thinks you’re just so pretty. Anything you ask of him he will do it.
Head on your chest, just. staring at you for as long as you let him.
Loves to have his face held too.
Following you around anywhere, on his switch, Gameboy, DS, he just loves being around you.
Will explain any sort of lost media/video game if you ask him about it.
If you’re ever just on your computer or phone doing your own thing, he will either pop his head through to give you a kiss, or leave pop ups that says he loves you and he misses you.
Very clingy.
You need to hold him so much.
He’s not affection deprived especially because he gets that sort of platonic shit from Jeff.
But once BEN has a s/o he is just crazy in love with them.
100% calls you princess, baby, kitten, and doll face.
I noticed every time I write for someone i just instantly get a crush on them. it’s not good.
reblogs / follows / likes appreciated!!

Now that we have playable Zelda, here’s my list of more unrealistic LoZ expectations:
Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks remake
Four Swords Adventures multiplayer port
Shadow Link being an actually relevant character with a personality (eg FSA manga)
First canonically gay character
Live action Zelda movie actually being good
Link plays an instrument again
We can pet the dogs and cats
New toon link game
Midna returns
Game where someone actually put more than two seconds of thought into the time travel and it functions consistently throughout the game (preferably without making 8 bajillion new timeline splits)
Game based on the Hero from 10000 Years Ago mentioned in BotW

Four Swords Zelda
Design
I was gearing up to yet another round of bitching about inaccurate sprites, but it turns out that other than some colour differences they are actually about as close as you could hope for a GBA game. I wish the game Zelda was a redhead too though, to differentiate her more from the more common Toon Zelda.
I like the Four Swords Zelda better out of the two Toon designs, because she has a cape (which is always cool), ribbon and a better hairstyle, and the little tassels are cute too. And also the royal crest has a less cluttered design. Her dress design is more similar to the OoT Zelda which makes her less unique, but at least the art style makes her stand out.
Character
Nice girl who dumps exposition on you. The most personality she shows is when she complains that kidnapping her is rude (in an "unhand me!" kinda way).
Role in the story
This is the loz game with the least amount of story since the nes era, and that shows in Zelda's part too. In the beginning she comes to inspect the sword that seals the end boss of the game since she has sensed that the seal is weakening, but nothing comes out of it and she gets kidnapped immediately. Then at the end she just thanks Link and they take the sword back.
Then again the game is a bonus multiplayer side piece to an ALttP port so whatever, story clearly wasn't the focus here so there's not much point critiquing it.
Relationships
She apparently already is acquainted with Link, but all they discuss is plot so there is nothing to be gained on this front either. We don't even know if she took Link with him to check the Four Sword in the role of a bodyguard, or just to keep her company as a friend.

i think nintendo should do another multiplayer zelda game and actually advertise it.
they’re shutting down online, so triforce heroes won’t be playable. and honestly i’ll defend that game with my live it’s so fun, the story is silly, it’s supposed to be like a “what does link do after he defeats a big bad ganon” and the answer is he gets silly with it in new kingdoms defeating lesser bad guys and having fun as fuck doing it
and like it’s genuinely a fun game
and like four swords wasn’t well received either, and that may be the timeframe it came out but from what i’ve gathered it didn’t have the same level of advertising as other games did either?
and they could make such fun multiplayer loz games, like multiplayer puzzle games are so popular, but they would need to just advertise it right.
and story wise? they made a four swords sequel before. as far as we know, that sword still exists.
they could make a post game game, like triforce heroes
or make something the fuck up! it’d be fun! make it a spin off like age of calamity and involve time travel to involve links from different eras
or, fuck they could do so much
but oughhh they just need to make something and advertise it

my first loz game as a kid was phantom hourglass and it was well into special interest territory. i would never shut up about it. i was obsessed. any and every friend i had would be recruited into playing the local multiplayer game mode with me. but one of my strongest memories is by far is how frustrated one of my classmates got with me because any time they asked me what gender link was i would look at them with an uncomprehending, blank stare and say "Link is Link" with the slow deliberation of someone communicating that 2+2=4
#i should elaborate that as a kid i approached gender as like. a gender was a kind of job with specific responsibilities and constraints#something you opted into for specific benefits or responsibilities#and i was like why would link need to opt into that. link has more pressing things to do#there is a ghost ship. and a temple that eats your health. so you can imagine the kind of stress that puts on a person#see also the time in daycare that i told my mom that i wanted to be my crush's husband because i didn't want to have to take care of kids

OMG
a loz/lu fan who also likes LN??
op ur amazing holy moly 🫵🥺
Thank you so much this is so sweet!!!! <333
It's not often I meet people in both of these fandoms, they don't seem to crossover much, or even at all, do they? Tbh I think it's a shame, the puzzle-solving-based gameplay of the LN games would be perfect for Loz fans!
What attracted you to Little Nightmares, may I ask, apart from the puzzles it doesn't have much of a connection on the fandom pipeline, so I'm curious?
I'm more familiar with the LN games than the Loz ones, but since I joined Tumblr for Lu, most of my mutuals and the blogs I follow are Loz oriented and I've been doing my best to educate myself as I go.
All that said, here's a rant about how much I love LN under the cut, since I don't usually talk about it on here, you have been warned XD
I don't mention it much but LN is genuinely one of my fave game franchises of all time. I'm in love with every aspect from the graphics to the lore to the puzzles, and needless to say I am very hyped for LN3.
This is also the series that brought me and my bestie together, so the new multiplayer feature is gonna be absolutely amazing.
I'm fascinated (and concerned) by the seemingly cyclical nature of the stories we experience within the LN universe. The idea of the children growing up to become the monsters that have hunted them, over and over again with no way to stop it, is something that I think is really well explored in a videogame. We can replay them as much as we want - there's no changing the outcome.
Anyways, how are we feeling about the adorably close bond of friendship between Low and Alone? (no doomed-by-the-narrative foreshadowing there no siree) 😭
#ask#hello new friend! nice to meet you!!!#<3#wow this ask got away from me - sorry XD#i actually wrote it out three times cause i kept accidentally deleting the post. so theres a lot of disjointed thoughts here#sorry its so rambly#this is what mentioning ln in my presence does to me#i can totally be normal i promise!

LoZ: Courage Twins Game
Ya'll, I would actually really like a Zelda game where there are 2 heroes.
Like, Link has a twin sister. Yes, I do mean Linkle, but change the name to Lina or Lara or Lynn or something. Because I really don't like Linkle as a name.
It could be a two-player co-op game, but not like how FSA was a multiplayer where you're essentially playing against each other.
More like It Takes Two, where the better you work together, the better things work overall. With mechanics that facilitates & encourages teamwork. Maybe even having coordinated special attacks like in Kingdom Hearts.
And, maybe they'll bicker sometimes or pester each other.
And maybe they fight differently. Perhaps sister is more long-range or magic-based, while Link is close-range & a heavy hitter? Or maybe if she is a close-range fighter, she's more of a rogue-type who dual-wields daggers or shortswords?
But what I'd especially like to see is Lina/Lara/Lynn actually having literally half of the Triforce of Courage & having been chosen by it just as much as Link was.
We know that a Triforce piece can be broken into pieces from Wind Waker, so why not use that as a plot point here to show that more than one person can be eligible for the role of Hero?
Also, maybe there could be a subplot of the sister feeling a bit inadequate due to her not really being recognized by the people as a hero. Maybe they underestimate her because the legends are always about the Hero?
Maybe the fact that she doesn't have a magical sealing weapon of her own like her brother, also contributes to this? At the same time, it's revealed that while Link is the Master Sword's chosen, the sister is also capable of wielding it, just less effectively due to not being as learned as her brother in the art of the blade if we go with her not being a swordswoman.
Like, she's every bit as skilled & courageous & heroic & helpful as her brother, but due to her being the first woman to be chosen by the Triforce of Courage, she feels a need to prove herself.
Maybe, she wasn't expected, not even by the gods & because of this, they tend to pay more attention to Link.
At the same time, Link is always in her corner & always brings attention to her & always, always includes her.
And she loves & appreciates him for it, but also can't help feeling slightly jealous of him.
Maybe she's the extrovert to Link's introvert? (Essentially doubling as his companion & mouthpiece.)
Or, if we wanna really drum up the emotion. Maybe she wasn't chosen by the Triforce to begin with. Maybe that didn't matter to her & she's on this adventure because that's her effing brother! They shared a damn womb! Like hell, she's gonna let him risk life & limb without her! And maybe people keep encouraging her to go home where it's safe. Even the really important characters & even though she's feeling down on herself, that's the one thing she isn't about to do! Maybe she has to go through similar trials to Wind in order to get the gods to recognize her as being worthy?
And maybe, at the end of their journey, she's come to expect being forgotten about or dismissed, only for Hylia (or at least her bunshin) to recognize her as a Heroine of the Triforce which honestly surprises her.

I want to write my Vier meeting Ghirahim and Fi for the sole reason that I think it would be funny as hell.
Ghirahim and Fi have this sort of angels and demons rivalry going on, without any space for a third. Hylia’s on white, Demise is on black, Link and Ghirahim are the queens. The Four Sword isn’t connected to Hylia or Demise, though. It’s raw nature. At best more linked to the Golden Trio, but honestly more like a kami or something in its own right. A divine weapon that is divine simply because of what it protects and represents, still able to devour demons like the other two, up to and including Ganon himself.
With my own headcanons in play, Fi would’ve been created from the feather of the goddess, and Ghirahim would have come from a scale of his god. But the Four Sword is fae, if anything. Born of steel and the hearts of the four elements. It’s so earthly it wraps all the way back around to sublime.
It fits incredibly well into the representations of the triad, though. Zelda’s associated with Hylia, Ganondorf is associated with Demise, and Link is overwhelmingly associated with the fae. Coming from the forest, or being raised by fairies, turning into a fairy, allying with fairies, being the only one who can see them, so on and so forth.
So if we pick up my terrible little creature and put them in a room with Hylia’s Own Weapon and Demise’s Regent, Vier would technically qualify as an equal. But they were created so late in the general scheme of things, without the history the other two share. Hell, Vier was the Picori Blade, originally forged from simple steel by particularly talented mousefolk. Not stardust or magma.
They don’t have a chip on their shoulder at all though, because Ghirahim was used like an old tissue, Fi is still trying to get her quarry to this day, and Vier destroyed a top tier demon that hasn’t been seen since. Earthly magic 1, divine magic 0.
The problem is they’re slowly going stir crazy because they haven’t been picked up. Fi gets to go on a little walk every thousand years or so, sometimes every few hundred. Ghirahim essentially died and has probably been running around in the LOZ equivalent of Hell, if he exists at all. The Four Sword? It either got sold in the Hero of Legend’s estate sale after rotting in the dark world for a few thousand years, got locked behind a divine barrier sometime after Twilight Princess, or for all we know is still under the ocean somewhere in Wind Waker.
Don’t ask me where it is in BOTW/TOTK, I’ll start drawing maps and pinning strings to cork boards and channeling Brian David Gilbert. Or do. But that’s what you’d unleash.
Nintendo bring Vaati back challenge, it’s the only way the Four Sword will probably get any enrichment. We have the Switch now. Give us multiplayer. Let us throw our friends off of cliffs.
Until then I’m putting my oc through the absolute hell that is existing in three timelines simultaneously and STILL not getting any bloodshed.
