Cabin in the rain forest. Surprisingly so Alaskan. In Lowell Point just beyond Seward you will find tons of cute little cabins, many of which you can rent for the night, nestled in the Lush rainforest. And the distance you can see glaciers pouring over Mountain edges and waves are lapping on the shores. It's quite the picturesque scene. When I first spotted it while taking a picture of the fishing vessel. I chased it three miles down the coast toward Lowell Point, the end of the road system on the eastern end of the Kenai Peninsula. I found it floating in the water midway down, at which point it allowed one hasty photo, then was off again. Having reached Lowell Point it reversed direction. I saw it fly into the harbor. I went back to where I was and found it just to the left of where I was when it started, drying itself off on the piling. Had I known about this behavior I could have waited there and done something else.
