How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom? 

8 months

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

Probably the second I saw those two look at each other for the first time. They just had great chemistry and I already wanted Hook to be redeemed at some point.

What drew you to this event? 

I saw it posted on tumblr and thought it would be fun to participate. Especially once inspiration struck

What inspired your topic? 

I looked through the themes that were allowed and mythology just spoke to me. Especially since it was already cannon for the show so it felt more natural. And I like old myths.

Do you know that bit in Deadpool where Wade and Morena where they do this game of who has the shittier life? Killian and Emma can genuinely pull that off.

But they both also have points of light  in their life. People who inspired them to be honorable, hopeful and good.

When they met their respective best friends, Mary Margaret and David, who also followed them to the same college they thought they had everything. And then they met each other.

So here they are about four years into their relationship, ready to get their degrees and start on their future...

When did life ever go as expected for them?

Still, how were they supposed to know they'd be thrown into a YA novel?

Seriously their best friends are the children of who now? And Killian's boss is what?

I'm sorry who has beef with Mary Margaret?

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

Challenging myself as a creator!

How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom? 

I’ve been a fan since Day 1, but I joined the online fandom about 4 years ago.

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

I fell for these two characters the moment they started climbing that beanstalk.  Their chemistry was electric and they had so much common ground to build from.

What drew you to this event? 

I love the challenge of putting our beloved characters into new situations and the supernatural universe gives us so much to work with.  I’ve previously done a canon-compliant fic and for last year’s event, I created a bit of an AU (and I do hope to have that final chapter posted soon!)

What inspired your topic? 

My daughter had a few myths pop up in her language arts class this year and one particular story about the sirens caught my attention.  I’m putting my own twist on the mythology to better suit Emma & Killian though.

Who/what have you beta'd before, or is this your first time? Feel free to give as much info as you like. 

I have served as a beta reader for a few other authors, primarily during the CS Big Bang & CS Little Bang events.  I’m always willing to provide as much or as little suggestion as the author wishes.

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

The amount of talent in this fandom is incredible so I’m always looking forward to seeing the incredible art & reading the amazing stories!  This event is so unique in the wide variety of subject matter that it never ceases to surprise. Siren Emma? or even siren Killian? SIGN ME UP!!!! I can’t wait to see what Amy has for us when her fic drops on July 21! She is also betaing for @lovingmydreams in the second wave. Everyone go welcome her back to the event and give her lots of love!!!
