Have you heard of Sacred Breath? All breath… Every breath truly is a sacred experience. I like to refer to breath as the true cycle of life. Just consider the wonder of it. Breath connects us to all life in one capacity or another. Even through time as it is recycled and reused with no end. Let us take a moment to honor this process by taking 3 high quality breaths. By that I mean we are going to breathe in to the count of 4. Hold to the count of 5. And release to the count of 6. We do this because by breathing out longer we release more carbon dioxide. Breathing in even though its shorter is a higher quality breath because now you have more oxygen flowing to you brain and heart. This is what I call a sacred breath. I practice this breathing during meditations, yoga, in the bath, during reiki, if I become anxious. Lets try it right now! 1… 2… 3… 4… HOLD 1… 2… 3… 4… 5…. RELEASE 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… x2 more times.
