“But if someone other than your disappointed parent is bringing you fruit,” you go on, “they might as well get on one knee in the process, honestly. That's such an adorable, loving thing to do.”

Suddenly, the words MATCH FOUND splash across your monitor, and you move your cursor to accept the game invite—only to be met with a pop-up window and a familiar error sound that grates on your ears like screeching tires.

You know how this story ends: the lights in your mouse go dark, and you look on in dejected silence.

You pick up on a soft clunk that sounds like metal hitting wood—the cutting board, maybe?—and then your housemate's low, accented answer bounces off the walls of your shared hallway.

“Yeah, you alright?”

“The mouse,” you say helplessly.

“Ah.” It’s not the first time you’ve summoned him for this. “Be right there.”

A few seconds later, you remember to tack on a hurried disclaimer: “I’m live, by the way!”

“I know.”

This brings a bashful smile to your face, though the expression quickly turns to one of pure dismay when you return to your desk and witness the disastrous state of your chat.

Felix has become a regular guest on your stream by now, always popping in to show you a TikTok or ask for your opinion on a new pair of jeans or simply give your camera an awkward wave—but he may as well own your channel with how completely and unequivocally he has captured the hearts of your viewers. They’re convinced he’s the sexiest person to ever grace the earth, with his chiseled features and coffee-colored eyes; with a grin that could set entire estates on fire and a voice that could scrape the nadir of the Grand Canyon.

Do you agree? Absolutely.

Do you have any intention of voicing this sentiment, so long as you’re splitting rent with him? Absolutely the hell not.

Another of Jeongin’s messages—GET ME HIS NUMBER OR I GET VIOLENT—inspires you to minimize the stream window before Felix gets here. It’s for the best.

A few moments later, the door opens, and the air shifts inside your room. A hand comes to rest on the top of your head; a familiar silhouette appears in your periphery. There is a fond grin plastered across your face and a bright greeting sitting readily on the tip of your tongue.

But then, Felix places a plate of freshly cut fruit in the empty space to the left of your keyboard—here, he hums, the sound falling against the shell of your ear like a drop of melted chocolate. And the gears of your brain grind to a complete stop.

There is no further acknowledgment; no supplementary explanation for what he's just done. He simply picks up your mouse and gets to work.

The words of your tweet swim dizzyingly before your eyes, not unlike those halos of stars and birds that revolve around disoriented cartoon characters. And you’re suddenly, achingly aware of your roommate's arm nudging against yours as he tinkers away; of the aromas of vanilla and laundry detergent that always come with his proximity; of the heat that’s risen to your face, and the plethora of questions that have surfaced to your mind.

A soft huff of laughter follows a gentle utterance of your name, and you snap out of your trance. Felix’s eyes are glinting with amusement when you meet them.

“It’s been recalibrated,” he says, handing back your mouse. “Just give it a few minutes.”

Your fingertips brush over his palm when you accept the object, and even this blink of contact has your heart performing an elaborate hopscotch routine across the plane of your chest.

It’s either your mom, or…

“Thank you,” you mumble, finally retrieving your larynx from the bottom of the Atlantic.

“Anytime,” Felix returns, and you know he means it. “You need a duo, by the way?"

“Yes, please.”

He gives you a warm smile at this, and there’s a hint of something else—something new—in the curve of his lips. “Give me two.” And he’s gone as quickly as he'd come.

You will never know how Felix slips his phone out of his pocket the second he emerges from your room, his pulse hounding his ears as he turns a nervous gaze upon his screen.

There is now a supersonic blur of messages saturating your chatroom, a colorful cacophony of moving emotes and capital letters, but he is focused wholly on the person in front of the camera and how you slowly lift a hand to your mouth, deathly silent despite your every viewer demanding your comment on the matter, your sanguine cheeks visible even through the gaps of your fingers.

That is all he needs to know.

Felix sinks into the leather of his gaming chair and bends to power on his computer. Only after a deep breath blows past his lips does his smile start to stretch into a grin, every bit as embarrassed as it is relieved.

I started writing fanfiction on AO3 in May 2021 after binging Season One of Shadow and Bone on Netflix, because my brain couldn’t stop thinking about putting Alina and the Darkling into this one very intense AU scene together (see https://archiveofourown.org/works/31104674/chapters/76852013 ). I had vaguely planned to just leave it or something after I finished the scene, but I didn’t realize how supportive and encouraging people are on AO3, and I kind of need that in my life right now. (Don’t we all need supportive and encouraging, tho?) So here’s me making a social media footprint and maybe learning how to join the smutty side of the fanfic community in my free time. The first username I picked for AO3 was besmirchme, which turns out to already be taken, so now I’m using sweetlittlethirst, and pre-claimed @ sweetlilthirst on Twitter too, in case this whole plan of internet socializing really takes off 😅. More about me: She/her. Attracted to pretty, and muscles, on any gender.

Call me sweetlittlethirst, because I can’t be arsed to think of a clever name right now. Ms.Thirst? 😇 I’ve only written one fanfic so far. Not counting the dumpster fire fanfics I wrote back when I was 13. No one needs to know about those. I am not at all highbrow; I know my place as a smut writer, and I’m happy down here. I love stories with intense conversations, I love characters that are wicked smart and play mental chess games with each other as they vie for control. I dislike traditional gender roles, which I think is why gay couples in fanfic appeal to me so much. And why I hate it when someone writes yaoi but insists on making one of the guys ‘the woman in the relationship’ and the other one ‘the man.’ Come on, just quit it. My favorite romance novels are Captive Prince by C.S. Pacat, For Real by Alexis Hall (and the Billionaire Boyfriend series by the same author), Those Who Wait by Haley Cass, and The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams.

I like detailed sex scenes, but ideally the sex has to mean something, as in, it moves the plot forward, changes people’s emotions, gets them to discover something about themselves they hadn’t wanted to acknowledge.  Having only written this one ongoing multi-chapter fanfic so far, I think my style is to have a series of sex scenes interspersed with intense conversations. I’m all about dominant alpha women and showing how hot they are.

It’s been fine for me i guess? I’m very greatful that no one I know has been too greatly effected, but man this quarantine is kinda getting to me. My dysphorias been pretty bad recently, especially with my transphobic parents (oof) but it’s cool, speaking to my friends always makes me feel better :)

I can’t choose just one,, recently I’ve been listening to the remastered xenoblade soundtrack, especially the battle themes, but I’ve been switching between that and The GazettE’s NIL album.. too many good songs.

Arya Stark’s Death & Nissa Nissa Theory

!!DON’T WORRY, THIS ISN’T A SPOILER FOR S8!!! (Probably.) But this is however, a potential (maybe) spoiler for the books and A Dream of Spring. 

Ahhhhh, it’s that time of year again where I post my GOT/ASOIAF theories So let’s get right on it. Because the show doesn’t really touch base on these things and if you’re a show-only fan, I’ll just do a quick recap. (You’d be surprised as to how many show fans don’t know these stuff.) Pretty sure the show has never mentioned Nissa Nissa before.  

So I’m sure we all know who Azor Ahai is. The Prince Who Was Promised. Same thing. Today, we’re going to talk about his wife. Nissa Nissa. So if you don’t know who Nissa Nissa is, she was Azor Ahai’s wife. Who from based off legend, died when AA thrusted his sword through her heart to forge the legendary sword, Lightbringer. AA worked thirty days and nights to forge the hero’s sword. But when he tempered it in water, the sword broke. So he worked fifty days and nights to forge another sword and tempered it in a lion’s heart. But the sword broke again. Until he worked one hundred days and nights, and eventually, he finished and drove the sword through NN heart. And with her cry of anguish, ecstasy, and courage, the sword forged into Lightbringer Her blood and soul went into the sword to beat the Others. (White Walkers.) Some people think that NN could be Daenerys. She definitely has the traits to be NN. And some people think NN was Lyanna. Rhaegar thrusting his “sword” into her to bring forth Lightbringer, (Jon.) Some even think it’s Sansa? So here, I wanna talk about Arya, and how she could potentially be NN, at least in the books. BOOK SPOILERS DOWN BELOW. 

As obvious, this is a Jonrya post because I’m basing AA off Jon. In the books at least, this is a theory I’ve had in mind for the longest time. In the show, it might just be Dany, but in the books it could be said otherwise.

We know for a fact that before GRRM wrote AGOT his intended goal was to have Jon and Arya fall in love with each other, and have some sort of “star crossed” lovers arc because of Jon’s vows and Arya thinking that they were siblings. And while the Jon/Arya romance storyline isn’t drafted in the books now, you can tell that some of GRRM’s original ideas about Jon/Arya still made it onto the page. He clearly has Jon and Arya set up for something VERY, VERY, IMPORTANT for the endgame of ASOIAF. And I for one, think that Arya will be Jon’s NN. 

Jon’s whole storyline in ADWD is basically about Arya. Most of his thoughts and motivations are about her, and in the end, he DIES for her. I kind of like to think of this as a nice parallel IF Arya were to become NN. Bc Arya is always associated with DEATH. That’s her whole arc. It’s murder, killing, revenge. But she’s also broken, and she struggles with losing some of her identity bc of death. We can speculate from some of TWOW chapters that Arya might learn of Jon’s death at the wall. And to me, I think that might become a breaking point for Arya. It could be the driving force for her to finally leave Braavos and go on a whole murder rampage or something to avenge her favorite brother’s death. She’ll go home because of Jon. Obviously we know that Jon’s going to come back, but he probably won’t be the same. 

We know that they’re going to reunite in the books, bc that was confirmed by GRRM. The Starks would reunite. And we know that GRRM has been setting up some sort of big clash with Jon and the Others. So maybe after his resurrection, Arya comes back and they reunite he’ll focus more on fighting the Others and leave the Watch. Since he’s died and all that. Obviously he’ll probably have to avenge his death first or something. But in the actual endgame, if he is set up to become AA, his NN will be Arya. I know people might suspect that it’s Dany, bc from the looks of it on the text, there’s enough evidence to support that. But I think that like the N+A=J theory, Dany being NN is a RED HERRING. (Don’t get offended if you believe in N+A=J 😂😂) 

Jon falling in love with Dany is plausible. And by taking a look at the evidence, Jon and Dany can be the tragic lovers tale. Though I think Dany’s story will end in another way, that doesn’t involve her getting stabbed in the heart with Lightbringer. We know from the text that Dany is suppose to get betrayed 3 times. One for love, one for blood, and one for gold. 

“Three fires must you light… One for life and one for death and one to love… Three mounts must you ride… One to bed and one to dread and one to love… Three treasons will you know… Once for blood and once for gold and once for love…”

If we interpret the text, the one that hasn’t happened yet, is the betrayal for love. And I think it’s going to be Jon. However, while people assume that the betrayal will be something like he kills her to stop the Others or he betrays her for the throne, I don’t interpret it like that. I interpret it as Jon will LEAVE her FOR love. His love for his sister. (This is HUGE speculation tho.) Mirri Maz Duur for blood, Jorah maybe for gold, (as in to return home), and Jon for love. Maybe that’s her 3rd betrayal. Jon leaving Daenerys for Arya. Exactly how he’s going to betray her for Arya, i’m not sure yet. 

But more on the text, one firm reason why I also believe Arya is NN, is because of this passage in her first chapter in AGOT: 

“You had best run back to your room, little sister. Septa Mordane will surely be lurking. The longer you hide, the sterner the penance. You’ll be sewing all through winter. When the spring thaw comes, they will find your body with a needle still locked tight between your frozen fingers.” 

I find it interesting that this quote comes from Jon himself. It almost feels like this quote is an omen to her death. The “longer she hides, the harder the punishment will be.” In the coming books, I see it as Arya will have to make a CHOICE. What that choice could be idk. But I suspect it might have something to do with the Others and with Jon. Because in the next line it says that she’ll be “sewing through WINTER.” Maybe her choice will be something like abandoning her anger and revenge in favor of duty and saving the realm. The longer she takes to choose between those two things, will cost her. The punishment being the realm destructs, and everyone she loves dies, etc. Maybe she will have to choose between avenging her family, or becoming this some sort of deity to save the people and the world. And that last line in the passage, “When winter is over and spring comes, they will find her with a “needle” still in her, with her hands wrapped around it.” To me, I interpret this as the sort of “aftermath” of Winter. If she were to choose to save the realm, this is meant to mean that the people will “remember” her and remember what she’s done in order to save them all. When they “find her body with a needle still in her,” it means the people will acknowledge her sacrifice. Songs will be sung and stories will be written about her. And of course the “needle” could mean the flaming sword Lightbringer that has been stabbed in her, and frozen between her fingers. That was the sword that saved the realm all through winter, the one that killed her in order to make the ultimate sacrifice. It’s all so deeply metaphorical in a way. 

But ultimately, the reason why I think Arya is NN and Jon is AA, is because of how well it fits their respective story arcs. It’s no doubt that Jon and Arya love each other. Whether it’s romantic or sibling love, that’s up to you to interpret. But Arya and Jon would die for each other. At least in the books. Jon throughout the series constantly thinks of Arya. Knowing that he might see her again is what pushes him to strive and continue living. And in Dance, Jon is so conflicted between “love and duty” because of Arya. And in the end, Jon chooses love over duty. And because of it, he dies. He gets killed because of his love for Arya. ”What do you know of my heart priestess? What do you know of my sister?” And in the books, it’s mostly Jon that helps Arya to strive to continue living. So she’ll be able to see him again. Jon helps her regain a little of her humanity. Sure Arya loves her family, but throughout her journey, it’s JON who she always tries to go back to. To the wall where Jon is. Because of Jon, she strives to never forget that she is a STARK. Arya’s arc is constantly attributed with death. She can be a sort of champion for death. And Jon’s arc is all about life. He fights for life. How fitting and tragic would it be, if by the end of ASOIAF, it’s Arya that will die FOR Jon. Like how he died for her. She will choose to sacrifice her life to save the people like how Jon chose to sacrifice his life to “save” her. Arya will choose to do her duty to save everyone she loves, and Jon will do the same. Yes love is the death of duty. But this time around, love will be the source of duty. It will be the bringer of life. (It’s all so biblical and full of ironies. Something that GRRM loves.) 

Anyways I went off. Congrats if you made it to the end of this. 😂😂 It all feels like weird fan fic lmao. Please feel free to counter-argue me, I wanna know your guy’s stance too. :)

Leon (Rune Factory 4) - this guy is my favorite character in the universe. He's playful and loves his pranks, but he's very vulnerable emotionally (part of his playfulness is to keep people from prying in). Leon is a dragon priest who sacrifices himself as a guardian for his best friend (the deity of Selphia, Ventuswill). He's awoken 1000 years later, buried under the temple of Leon Karnak, by Frey and finds that Venty is alive but everything else he loved has been completely erased. He can't go back into the past and take care of the regrets he had back then. Your whole love story with him involves confronting pieces of his past even if it means risking your relationship with him. Leon is just a great guy, sigh.

Yukwon Kim (Block B) - real people are viable right...??? I've been a HUGE fan of Yukwon since Block B's debut in 2011. I really like Yukwon's dancing skills and voice. He's a raspy tenor with a perfect smile. None of my exes have been like Yukwon, but hey he is my ideal type if I'm allowed to have one.

Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z) - this is my OG favorite man, even though in hindsight he is an omega douche. In DB Super he has hella character development though, with accepting that he isn't the strongest saiyan and that his wife and kids are his greatest source of strength.

Ieyasu (Samurai Love Ballad: Party) - I still reread the bits of his main story that I screenshotted because I love the writing so much. He's the first otome character that I ever truly clicked with and I just loved how richly he developed. I know he's controversial and I understand the hate (I would personally never date someone like Ieyasu LOL), but him and his route are an amazing experience. I found myself as devoted as his MC.

Kyoichiro (Samurai Love Ballad: Party) - he's basically a very lonely Robin Hood Ieyasu (but less abusive and owns a store lmao). I relate even more to this potato than to Ieyasu! I love the themes in his main story and HE IS PRECIOUS OKAY.

Hinata (Fire Emblem Fates) - this guy is a mediocre unit gameplay wise and his support convos are boring, but he's my type IRL (violent coughs of shame). Hinata is upbeat and active, but clumsy. He comes off as relaxed, but is hard working and devoted to his prickly lord, Takumi. I like the genki personalities I guess.

Kenshin (Samurai Love Ballad: Party) - his route is still the ONLY otome route where I felt like I fell in love and became genuinely emotionally attached. I still cry when I think about his route. I haven't found any story that's made me feel as deeply as his.

Mitsuhide (Ikemen Sengoku) - a tease/sadist who is vulnerable on the inside, I CAN'T RESIST THAT OKAY. It was his portrayal in Hideyoshi's route that cemented my undying love for him. I want to tell him that he is worth something and to love himself!

Hideyoshi (Ikemen Sengoku) - probably the second most emotional otome experience for me behind SLBP Kenshin. I thought I would hate his guts, but instead I fell for him, this man who doesn't love himself, this soldier who sees that life passes "like the morning dew," this obsessive freak who loves other people so much that he can't see how loved he is.

Meteos (100 Thieves) - okay he is a pro League of Legends player BUT he still counts. I've followed him since season 3 (a CLG fan though). The time when he took a break from pro play in season 5 was the exact same time I went through a horrible break up. For a while, I spent my time skipping classes, crying in bed, starving myself, feeling ugly, etc. It's partially thanks to Meteos' stream + his wacky sense of humor + his gameplay + his strong sense of self that I found the energy to live for ME, instead of living for that lonely girl who was trapped in the illusion of a "happy" relationship.

Prom started out great.

Rich and Michael were in the back of the PT Cruiser; Bob Marley was playing in the background. Michael was making marks all over his boyfriend, and Rich? Well Rich would forever deny how loud he was.

It was wonderful, until Jake and Jeremy opened the door to the car. Rich pushed Michael away, his face flushed red. “Mi-Michael, come on.”

“Really Jeremy? Come on.” Michael whined, getting out of the car. He took Rich’s hand, leading him out to the car. “I could’ve gotten further.”

“Oh please, you’d say ‘Michael is making an entrance’ if you got that far.” Jeremy said. “Christine is waiting for me and Chloe is waiting for Jake. I can’t believe the minute Jake and I left the car you pushed Rich to the back and jumped him.”

“Okay I would totally say that, it would be worth it. Also, he looks good in a tux, right princess?” Michael turned to Rich, smirking.

“Don’t call me printheth.” Rich mumbled. “You look better in a thuit.”

“Please change his username to princess.” Jake said, wheezing at this point. 

“Change your own utherame to printheth if you want that name tho bad!” Rich hit Michael’s arm lightly. “Don’t change it.”

“I wouldn’t change it babydoll.” Michael whispered in Rich’s ear, wrapping his arm around him.

That damn name made Rich turn red. He hated that Michael had this power.

“Rich? What’d he say? Why are you red?” Brooke walked over, she was followed by Chloe, Jenna, and Christine. They must’ve been either bored or worried. “Are you okay?”

“I have my secrets to get my boyfriend to be quiet. I will never share them, they are mine.” Michael said. “I also know how to sneak pot into prom.”

“My name’s Michael, let’s get stoned in my basement and prom!” Jeremy mocked. “Ten bucks you brought some weird drink.”

“I tried. Richard wouldn’t let me.”

“You bet your athth I wouldn’t!” Rich said, grabbing his boyfriend’s arm. “He needth to try other drinkth.”

“. . . Richard almost finished all my Mountain Dew Red.” 

“THUT UP!”

“Hey! Hey, c’mon. Let’s go inside okay? I want to dance.” Christine smiled, taking Jeremy’s hand. “Of course, with the guy I am totally into.”

Everyone groaned.

Rich forgot why he tried to be cool for Michael.

The nerd was doing the robot.

THE ROBOT!

“Michael I thwear to everything I know you’re the biggetht geek I know.” Rich said, laughing his ass off. “You’re tho cute.”

“Try it Richard, I want to see a cool guy do a geeky dance.” Michael took Rich’s hands, grinning like a madman.

“You think I’m cool?” Rich flushed again. 

“Yes? Why wouldn’t I?” Michael frowned. “Richard.”

“Yeth?”

“You’re the coolest guy in the world.”

“Am I cooler than a vintage cathette?” Rich teased, remembering what Jeremy told him about Michael during the SQUIP. He thought it was hot.

He got shocked for that.

“You’re cooler than Red Mountain Dew and Crystal Pepsi on a hot day. Dare I say you are cooler than Apocalypse of the Damned!” Michael said, grabbing Rich’s shoulders.

“No way, you’re thitting me!” Rich got to play the game with Michael a few times before prom, he was actually amazing. He didn’t have the heart to tell Michael he played it and beat it awhile ago.

“I’m not thitting you.” Michael teased him, kissing his cheek.

Rich was about to come up with a response until he heard the song change and Michael pulled him to the dance floor.

It was Whitney. God why was Michael so excited?

“Michael, thith thong thucks--I uthed too many wordth with an eth, haven’t I?” Rich covered his mouth.

“Nah babe you’re good, and this song totally sucks. I want to dance with you though. This is the only music worth dancing to!”

“I beg to differ.” Rich said, twirling his boyfriend.

“Hey Rich, can I talk you to you?” Jake placed a hand of Rich’s shoulder, smiling. “Sorry Michael, can I steal him?”

“Go for it.” Michael replied as cool as he could. He waited until Jake took Rich to the punch table to begin to freak out.

He hated parties. 

He didn’t know he hated them until Jake’s Halloween party. That was his undoing. 

And here he was.

Alone.

Again.

He stopped looking up, the faces passing him were making him dizzy. He couldn’t breath. The dread was settling in his stomach. He felt his eyes burn, his legs were numb and he ran. He ran to the bathroom, at least that would give him comfort. He needed to be there.

He should have told Rich, but he didn’t. 

He was scared Rich wouldn’t care.

~ ~ ~ 

Rich became nervous.

It had been ten minutes since Jake finished telling him about how Chloe was telling Brooke how she was going home with him. Rich of course was glad his friend got this chance but he noticed Michael was missing.

He waited, maybe he just went to get food.

Now he was scared.

He ran outside, praying to everything he knew and loved Michael was getting high out back.

He wasn’t.

He didn’t know what made Michael leave, he didn’t care. Somehow it was anyone but Michael’s fault and he’d fight anyone who hurt his boyfriend. 

“Jeremy! Michael ith mithing and I’m worried!” Rich grabbed the tall boy’s arm, not caring Christine was holding that very arm. “He’th been gone for fifteen minuteth now!”

“Let me think, oh god prom was a bad idea why did I--bathroom! Shit! Grab Jake and follow me. Christine I’ll be back okay?” Jeremy turned to his girlfriend.

“Okay, that’s fine! Make sure he’s okay for me, alright? I’d go in with you but--”

“No, you have to come Chrithtine! Get Jenna, Brooke, and Chloe!” Rich cried, looking desperate, “He may need all of uth!”

“I’m on it, okay?” Christine smiled. “I’ll bring the bathroom keys, in case he locked himself in there. I’ll get the gang!”

“Me too.” Jeremy ran off with Christine, getting the rest of SQUIP squad.

~ ~ ~

“I can’t do this, I can’t do this, I can’t--” Michael repeated over and over again in the bathroom. He did, in fact, lock the door. He wanted to disappear all over again. He felt alone.

He didn’t notice the door open with seven other teens searching for him.

“--SUCH A GODDAMN LOSER! I CAN’T DO THIS!” Michael was punching the wall, hoping he could break the world.

He was almost breaking his hand.

He broke down in sobs, collapsing to the floor. “Can’t do it. I can’t do it again, don’t want to be alone again. I hate being alone! I’m always fucking alone!”

“M-Michael? Hey, what’th wrong?” Rich moved closer, slowly easing to a crouch next to the crying boy. “Babe look at me.”

“R-Richard? Oh god, y-you weren’t supposed to see me like this. Why are you here? Aren’t you talking to. . . I. . .” Michael turned, stopping when he saw the rest of the group there.

It wasn’t the best idea to bring them all there.

“Hey, player one. Calm down, okay? We’re all here. We’re still your friends!” Jeremy sat down with Rich, smiling at Michael.

“Michael why would we leave you alone? We love you!” Christine sat down with them.

“Can I rub your back? If you need space it’s okay.” Jenna said; seeing Michael nod she sat down and ran her hand up and down his back. “What? Personal space is important!” she said to the group.

“Want to ditch and get Pinkberry?” Brooke asked, hearing Michael snort she sat down with them. 

“We’ll go after if you want, okay?” Chloe sat down, leaving Jake the last one standing.

Jake stepped closer. “Shit Michael you’re going to make me cry, come on man. Take deep breathes. Look me in the eyes, okay?” Michael complied. “Alright, deep breathe in,” Michael did so. “I want you to hold it, good! Now let it out.” Jake patted Michael’s head as he did so.

“. . . I wanted to die.” Michael whispered. “That night, during Jake’s party. I wished I stayed at home, offing myself or-or that I was never born. I tried that night when I got home. I-I should’ve stayed in the damn house, I should’ve stayed in the fire! I think about that every night! I-I don’t know why I’m saying all this shit, god I shouldn’t be saying this.” 

Rich stared in horror, this wasn’t the happy-go-lucky Michael he knew. This was a tired, sad, depressed Michael. A real Michael.

“Would it have been better if I stayed in the bathroom?” Michael looked up at the group, smiling.

“NO!” Rich screeched. He grabbed Michael’s hands. “NO NONO!”

“Rich don’t shout.” Jeremy said, his eyes were wide and he looked like he was going to cry. He wanted to shout too, scream how wonderful Michael was.

“Michael you’re totally important, you saved the whole school--no! You saved the world from the stupid supercomputer! We’d be mindless robots without you!” Chloe said, crawling closer. “That would suck!”

“I-I bet someone would figure it out. Richard was screaming for the stupid drink, Jeremy you figured it out during the play right? You would’ve been able to get it and save yourself.” Michael looked even more tired at that point, letting his head fall.

“Let’th go home, okay? Let’th go to your houthe. I got him guyth, I’ll drive uth to hith houthe.” Rich helped Michael up, sending the group a sad smile. He walked to the PT Cruiser. He got in the drivers seat and helped Michael buckle in. “Michael? Are you going to therapy?”

“My parents don’t believe in therapy, I usually get high when I feel like this. It helps me suppress my emotions.” Michael said, leaning on Rich’s shoulder.

“Not healthy, let’s get you home. I’m gonna thtart you with my therapitht, okay? Good, I’m glad you agree.” Rich said, rubbing his boyfriend’s arm.

They both jumped when Rich’s phone made a noise.

Brooking it to class: We’ll meet you two at pinkberry, everyone loves frozen yogurt when they’re upset.

Richard: Got it, bringing the rest?

Brooking it to class: Yup!

Rich smiled, turning the car on. “We’re making a thtop babe.”

“Strawberry frozen yogurt? You’ve got good taste Michael!” Chloe complimented the boy, she was getting her own. “Now for toppings what do you want?”

“I have no idea, I’ve never had this stuff before. What’s good?” Michael stared at the toppings area. “. . . I want actual strawberries on it! Is that cookie dough?! Why did nobody take me here before?!”

Rich watched his boyfriend place toppings on his yogurt, he felt himself relax. Michael wasn’t going to hurt himself. Rich was going to stay over at Michael’s house that night. Michael was going to start therapy the next day.

“He never told me about this, I swear.” Jeremy was still in a state of shock, unforgiving to himself. “I can’t believe I never notice, he always acted so. . . perfect!”

“Hey, it’s okay we’re getting him help.” Jenna said, smiling. “I want chocolate froyo, be back.”

“I’m getting some too, Rich you want something?” Brooke stood up, smiling. 

“Nah, I’ll eat thome of Michael’th.” Rich said, keeping his eyes on his boyfriend.

“I want some!” Jake stood up and went to the machines, just in time for Michael to sit down.

“Hey babydoll, want some?” Michael held out a spoon. Rich nodded, scooting closer. “I’m sorry for dumping all that crap on you earlier, I really wish I was normal--”

“Don’t. I’m glad you told me, thith way we can help you. I’m glad I’m here for you, now give me a kith!” Rich put his hand on Michael’s shoulder. Michael grinned and kissed Rich.

It would get better.

How I first heard it: I think I heard it without realising at some point but I only actually listened and gave it some thought a few months ago when the music video popped up on my twitter feed as part of someone’s thread of favourite songs

Favourite lyrics: how about ‘I got my mind set on you’ seeing as it does make up about 60% of the lyrical substance to the song... I guess it gets the message of the track across,,,

Why I like it: nothin beats spicy syncopation !! its just really pleasant and cute

Song 2- Look Back in Anger- David Bowie

How I first heard it: I think it came up in the youtube suggestions and because we were studying Look Back in Anger in english at school at the time I was like omg I must listen to this

Favourite lyrics: ‘no one seemed to hear him so he leafed through a magazine, and yawning, rubbed the sleep away’ because damn relatable and it sounds really funny when david sings it with such boredom and hatred

Why I like it: okay LISTEN UP BABES if you’re gonna take one thing from reading all this its that you should listen to this song because personally I believe its one of the best if not the best bowie track... the sounds are just amazing alright 

Song 3- Heaven Help Us- My Chemical Romance 

How I first heard it: you can’t be complete mcr trash for a prolonged period of time without listening to the b sides okay

Favourite lyrics: ‘I’ve been sprawled on these cathedral steps while spitting out the blood and screaming someone save us’, the words fill your mouth with bitterness and desperation and there is such strong imagery I adore it all 

Why I like it: the harmonies in the choruses are really nice and its such a passionate reach of despair I just really appreciate the song 

Song 4- Killer Queen- Queen 

How  first heard it: I’m not sure? I think it might have been when I discovered my(former) singing teacher was in We Will Rock You in London and I decided to up my queen game? it might have been before then? who knows?

Favourite lyrics: ‘perfume came naturally from paris’ just because that’s so extra and I’d be lying if I didn’t want to give off that vibe, you know how someone would assume the perfume came naturally from paris because I’m jazmin

Why I like it: its just so evocative and suggestive? the singing of ‘queen’ in the chorus is so snazzy and it just might be my favourite song by queen??

Song 5- Feelgood By Numbers- The Go! Team 

How I first heard it: probably in the car with my dad, he used to play the CD of the album (thunder, lightning, strike)to my brother and I when we were very young(but I have mentally reclaimed the album from him because I don’t like associating things with him t b h)

Favourite lyrics: its instrumental bar the ‘one two three four’ at the start...

Why I like it: its so bittersweet and so lovely like the harmonica’s odd notes are just so beautiful and melancholic and the rolling happy drums and piano are brilliantly characterful like something out of charlie brown or something 

Song 6- Virgin- Manchester Orchestra 

How  first heard it: oh god okay so two years ago I read this frerard fanfic(k i l l m e) that was like, critically acclaimed within the mcr fandom with the abbreviated title asotm(if you know, you know), and someone made this awesome video edit based on the fic with this song in the background and posted it to instagram and I was like damn this is edgy I love it 

Favourite lyrics: ‘kiss him on top his lips and crucify the fire’ because the singer spits out that spicy religious imagery 

Why I like it: the way the song builds up slowly and menacingly whispers then shouts with the guitars is v v effective yes I love 

Song 8- Misty Mountain Hop- Led Zeppelin 

How I first heard it: I don’t know? I’ve always been familiar with it? I think I acknowledged it having a title when I watched Almost Famous for the first time maybe?

Favourite lyrics:  ‘crowds of people sittin' on the grass with flowers in their hair’ gives such snazzy chill rock n roll vibes that I love 

Why I like it: the keyboard is so jazzy and the singing is so sassy 

Song 9- Can’t Seem To Make You Mine- Sky Saxon & The Seeds 

How I first heard it: okay so when I was like seven, it was in an advert for some kind of male fragrance like lynx and I remembered hearing the instrumental whilst the guy in the advert walked through some convenience store in his pants or whatever and thinking this is the best thing I’ve ever heard but then I never heard it again yet I got the snippet from the advert stuck in my head a few times a year until last year(eight years later) I was listening to the stranger things soundtrack whilst drawing and it came on and I shit you not my brain fucking exploded right there and then like all over my drawing tablet and the keyboard

How I first heard it: I’m not sure, it was probably on the radio seeing as Planet Rock is the default sound of my kitchen

That gambling au????? More on that please??? My Interest Is Peaked (If you want!)

I’m guessing this is about my recent overwatch draws haha

Gamble is a fantasy universe I made a few years back and, basically, the four nations card suits lived together in harmony and then everything changed when the fire nation clubs attacked. Here’s my tag for it and my associated OCs 

It is also the origin of my username, 7clubs. :3c

I haven’t really made much real story content out of it because, again, it’s too much like ATLA in its current state, there’s a lotta Yikes Terrible stuff I gotta rethink with the story and characters (because I made it almost 5 years ago), and I’m currently invested in a different set of OCs.

I can ramble on and on about the weird shit that goes on in it, but basically, everyone is assigned a number and suit. it’s... simply a system that’s there.

Each kingdom/suit is also obsessed with the concept of Fate: red strings of fate, etc, viewing everything as inevitable. 

Different suits have different governing philosophies. The highest ranking members of the royal families are said to be the only ones with power to change what is set in stone for Fate, Sevens are gifted by Fate to be able to follow its strings and, also, tug them according to Fate’s will. Aces are also particularly attuned to the whims of Fate, and can even see the future sometimes.

Tho right now I primarily care about the Cool Monster Features each suit tends to have:

which again, tend to be bird-related. Gamble has its own made-up alphabet I use in art relating to it too (because it’s fuckin fun)

Anyway. Spades are the most fun to draw, because they most prominently have feathers of hair and I love grabbing a random bird that suits a Spades’ character and just. giving them radical feather hair.
