LITG S10 first volume is decent so far. I know most seemed annoyed at our li appearing to be “wishy washy” during the challenge or holding back. But I don’t think it’s such a bad thing so far. It’s literally day 2 and they have been coupled up not even full 24hrs, it makes sense as much as they want to give their partners a real chance at getting to know them, they also can’t just put their eggs in the bombshell basket (MC).

Idk I like the fact that it’s more of unknown thing for Mc. Like it opens up what I’ve been dying for in these games again. You have to put in the work and be strategic to get who you want. Sure they fawn and eat up Mc but then again, they aren’t just blindly in love bc we walk through the door. Like in a way, the novelty of bombshell should wear off soon and we have to put in the work to actually turn heads and not the half ass way due to plot armor.

So I’m looking forward to that.

Ongoing series retelling the show season by season from the moment Dean refuses to kick out a newly human Cas. The first two seasons are complete, S11 is four chapters in.

So far, the fics hit the big plot points, but deviate from canon a lot otherwise. Especially the demon!Dean storyline goes a LOT harder than the show ever dared. It's SO good. As for other changes, I'm not sure how much I should spoil, but you might want to be careful checking the character tags for S10&11 👀

This is my recommendation, so it's destiel of course. It's tagged slow burn, but I promise you don't have to wait for seasons for them to get together. Their developing relationship is quite the journey and god is the love there! Lots of raw emotion and desperation, but also such sweetness and some good domesticity. And fun fact, so far each season has included Dean and Cas going on some sort of roadtrip together, which just feels very right to me.

It's also very well written. The kind of writing where I can go check something in one scene and end up reading for hours without even realising. So I highly recommend getting comfortable and jumping into the series!

At promptly nine, Aaron entered the roundtable room. As he settled into his seat, Dave didn't hesitate to toss him an extremely amused, cheeky expression.

"You feeling alright there?"

"You had a good morning."

Aaron's eyebrows quirked at his statement, quickly recalling his day so far. Getting himself up, getting the kids up, heading out the door. Nothing out of the ordinary, other than the fact he actually had the time to sit down and eat breakfast. "I suppose I did, yeah."

Kate snorted a laugh. "You 'suppose?'"

Aaron's quizzical expression lingered, his gaze shooting to hers. She clarified further - her face just as smug as Dave's.

"Your texts."

Confused, Aaron pulled his phone from his pocket. He opened messages, taking notice of the time in the corner - the most recent activity in the group chat about an hour ago. He tapped it open.

"Oh," He chuckled, a soft smile forming on his face as he saw its contents. "Ellie had my phone."

He hadn't noticed she had been taking pictures. He remembered giving her his phone - in attempt to refrain her from throwing her Cheerios onto the floor. Her tiny hands had struggled to hold onto it, it thudding against the table a few times besides him, as he ran through a short multiplication practice with Jack - who had a test today. Evidently she must've secured a firm grasp, and took photos in the process.

"She sent those?"

Aaron nodded, the grin on his face growing slowly as he scrolled through the thread of pictures, his heart warming. They mainly consisted of you: smiling, placing a bowl of cereal in front of Jack, preparing your coffee at the counter; all candidly taken. His family in its most natural, loving state. "She must've."

"When'd she learn how to do that? Ellie's what, four?"

"Three." Aaron answered Derek, a chuckle shaking through his chest and he placed his phone back into his pocket. "And your guess is as good as mine. Jack probably, or from watching us. We don't allow her screen time."

"Well, you should take notes from her." JJ gave his shoulder a squeeze as she passed by, en route to her chair. "We don't nearly get enough of them."

You could hear the front door opening from your bedroom, listening to the footfalls get closer to where you were.

Laying your book down against your legs, you watched the doorway- waiting for him to appear in it.

You saw his crop of messy curls before you saw the rest of him, the way he took up nearly the whole doorframe as he stepped into the room.

The way your eyes lit up immediately lifted Spencer’s own expression. He was tired, it was obvious that he was tired. But just seeing how happy you got from just seeing him? That made all the long days worth it.

Two long fingers hooked into his tie, loosening it enough so he could undo his top two buttons. You watched as the tiniest sliver of skin was revealed at the top of his neck.

“Long day?” You asked, hoping he wouldn’t see the way your hips twitched as he continued to pull on his tie.

Two long strides toward the end of the bed, his knees pressed against the base as he leaned forward. One hand reached out to grasp your ankle, holding just enough to tug you to the end of the bed.

You let it happen, book discarded to the side as Spencer pulled you far enough down to slot between your legs. He laid one palm beside your head, the other gripping your waist.

“Very long day.”

All you did was nod, gazing up at him as his wide eyes trailed over you like he was eyeing up dinner. In one way or another, he was.

Spencer trailed his hand up your torso, featherlight touches tickling against your stomach and towards your chest.

You reached out to twist his tie between your fingers, pulling him even closer to you. “What can I do to help, daddy?”

Your voice trailed off into a whimper as you spoke, knowing what it’d mean. Spencer’s voice broke in a whimper, hips bucking forward into your own.

He rolled his crotch against you, a hardness in his slacks that pressed between your thighs. He dipped even lower, lips ghosting over yours just enough.

Never enough.

Lifting your own head, you closed the gap so you could press your mouth to his. Tongue slipping onto yours, you felt his fingers tighten on your hips as he continued to grind into you.

It was heady, debauched moans ripping from your chest as he humped you like a fucking schoolboy. Lifting your hips up to meet his, you could feel the desperation practically radiating off him.

This is definitely the best argumentation I've seen for this timeline... but I still can't see Missy being visibly genuine about "needing her friend back" aaaand giving Twelve Gallifrey's coordinates knowing that in his relatively close (bracketing the confession dial) future she'll kill everyone there. Like. She'd give him knowing she'll take it away. Not a good idea.

As is not breaking the news he's the importantest alpha and omega martyréd god of all civilisation ASAP.

Sigh, I absolutely can't stand it when those little things in the timeline act as an annoying little rock in a party shoe but I guess my brain just can't start thinking watsonianly until the story works. Like, between this line, Simm!Master suddenly going I wiLl nEVeR sTAND WiTh tHe dOcToR and Twelve himself twisting the Master saving his ass into incompetently getting sucked to Gallifrey I just can't help diagnosing Post Showrunner Change Disorder. Often results in amnesia. Very sad.
